201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW to successfuly participate in an IEO? Initial exchange offering on: April 23, 2019, 09:32:59 AM
The major thing you need is a very good web provider, preferably a 4g network because there will be millions of users visiting the site to make purchase at a time and not everyone would be able to make purchase because the token is limited and can be sold out at anytime, another you need to do is to be on the website very early, let's say if possible 2 hours before the sales begin so that you would know what is left is for you to make purchase immediately, make sure you fund your account on time so that you won't have problem with confirmation.
What we need is more projects to be registered on IEO and opened to many investors, there was an announcement on Yobit yesterday that I saw, on their upcoming IEO, which I check and I saw that they only have 1 upcoming IEO that will be on board in 70 days, imagine how many people would have seen this and preparing for the 70 days, when the time comes, it’s the fastest person that will participate, and it’s just beginning to look like a raffle draw. If we have so such projects, then there won’t be any rush, because 1 person cannot participate in many IEO at the same time.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is so great on: April 23, 2019, 09:02:06 AM
unfortunately since I got to know bitcoin in 2014 until now the name satoshi nakamoto became a mystery whether it was really his name, still alive or dead. when did he come out of the nest
I have always wondered about this, because that named might have just been coined at the advent of the idea of cryptocurrency. Some people today try to claim to be the real bearer of the name Satoshi Nakamoto, but without serious proof. It remains a mystery.
I am sure that the name was coined or probably a nick name and not his real name, because if it was his real name, that would not have been difficult for people to really get him out through a thorough research, but whoever he is, I am sure he lives amongst us and we have been so thankful to him for bringing this technology and giving us such the privilege again to be happy about of financial transactions.

Many people have gotten jobs, lots of people have torched money they would not have touched in their life and he has given hope to those that are hopeless. Satoshi to the moon.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What people do to make their altcoins popular? on: April 23, 2019, 08:30:52 AM
Not everyone is game oriented, but I have seen people who are very much adept and addicted to games. Those are the set of people that can be attracted to such sites and will definitely want to use the coin.
I think platforms like that are yet to gain popularity in the world of games, such as dice.
This shows that they can only attract population of people that are interested in gaming which cannot be as much as compared to neutral people. What people really wants is a project that will see a problem that exist, and then create a solution that will make people wow to it.

Any project that wishes to be very successful should have a very vital and potential product that will announce it name, if the product can be good and competitive enough, then they don’t need to stress too much about its popularity, the users thieves are the ones that will automatically make such product popular beyond human reasoning.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 23, 2019, 08:03:04 AM
Getting plans toninvest in any coin and ICO is dependent on the individual. I like to invest in only bitcoin but most people like to invest in the altcoins and that fetches them much tho.
Lol,  me too I prefer just bitcoin, but after a while I started to invest in Ethereum, but I haven't noticed any big change. But I will keep on with it and see how it goes, cause I have seen people that claims that Ethereum can bring more profit more than bitcoin does, so I just want to see if that is  true. Bitcoin has been good for me and I have been making decent profit from investing in it. Guess everyone just has what works best for them.

Overall, cryptocurrency is good and there are lots of altcoins that can make you good profit when you invest in them. But I will advise you to go for the top altcoins because the other ones are usually a waste of time based on the experience I have had with them,  they are not so reliable most of the times. If you want to invest in altcoins I will recommend the top ten altcoins - Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Litecoin. I really like that litecoin, one of the best coins in the market.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: April 23, 2019, 06:14:59 AM
Trading and investing are two different things. If you are trading a coin (as in buy when its low and sell when its high) than there is nothing stopping you from buying bad coins neither, you do not believe in the project yourself too but somehow you think it will go up and that is why you invest in that.

For example, during the early ICO boom there was a lot of coins that didn't worth anything but people did put their money in them because they believed it would go up, that is why even today those people are saying how bad ICO is because they lose money in getting those bad coins. However if you are investing than that is a long term thing and than you have to find good coins that you trust yourself as well and than you can't just put your money into anything, you have to find the good ones.
You are more or less teaching people to gamble with their investment by buying bad coins, once a project is a bad one, there is no point risking to invest in it, there is no probability it will rise, once just need to learn to overlook and move one, even if they promise heaven and earth.

In this period where we have lots of scam project, people should not really be too loose with projects, they have to be very strict and make sure that whatever project they are participating in ha absolutely 80% trust and chances of surviving in the future, I would not advise them to buy bad projects coins and keep at all.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Very stable BTC dominance on: April 23, 2019, 05:42:44 AM
No matter what the price will be, as long as the price didn't go up or down quickly as much so that online businesses with bitcoin as payments will not lose to volatility, is good. Even if bitcoin will be price at $3,000 and below, if such increase or decrease are not hourly or daily, bitcoin will be used without hesitation and can be stored or be used  like a real currency.
If BTC is already having like 60% market dominance, then what is left of other coins will be 10%, because the remaining 20% are either shitcoins and should not be counted as part of the market, even though their own marketcap too is reflecting on the marketcap site.

Bitcoin as a coin is really more than enough to solve any problem all these projects may have taught off, they just need to give their space completely to bitcoin so that we can achieve crypto adoption fully. If all attention in the market is focused on BTC now, it will be easier to gain attention of government quickly.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 22, 2019, 06:15:55 PM
Honestly, look at the matchups, Barcelona and Liverpool feels like the true final but at this moment I really can't say much about it. I think whoever wins Liverpool Barcelona game will get the cup, I know Tottenham and Ajax had a really good run so far but if you ask me it should stop here at most and they should lose the finals.

That is funny enough that instead of a City vs Juventus match up we get to watch Tottenham and Ajax match ups which is weird but after this one finals should be Barcelona at least. I don't know who I will play on Ajax Tottenham game because I really have no clue which one is better but I will bet on Barcelona on Liverpool game.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 22, 2019, 04:31:34 PM
Westbrook is really that type of player, if he plays great than he makes so much difference that he can win the game all by himself. However, if he plays badly than he an cost the game all by himself as well. That is why they call it "live by bestbrook die by worstbrook".

I think Dame and CJ have been waiting to move beyond the first round for a long long time and they have finally managed to move to second round (most probably since its 3-1). Second round will be easy for them too since its either spurs or nuggets, both of them are good teams and create a challenge but other teams are warriors and rockets so spurs/nuggets is a better option to play against then the warriors/rockets so maybe they will even move to conference finals for a chance.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: April 22, 2019, 03:30:12 PM
snip
I Think you have the best opinion and it summarizes it all up. It’s  very good to gamble and have all the fun from the game, But it is all shade of wrong to commit big money into gambling with the intention of getting it back and then start calling God for intervention in it, which we know that it is a game of luck and not a game of GOD.

God has already created the game for fun but it is man that made is difficult by making it full of rush because of the introduction of huge money to play, greed is what makes us use big money to play something that we term as fun game.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on an insect fight? on: April 22, 2019, 02:53:16 PM
It may be absurd but I already did.

At that time I am just a child and at that time, we usually go to a grassland near the foot of a mountain and find spiders. We use it to fight to other person with spider and bet on it. We bet money, sometimes toys and also spiders too. If I am not mistaken, there are bugs that fight too. In my country it is hard to find one and we usually end up finding spiders but not bugs.
I am glad you already admitted that it is absurd, I would say it is  weird and would have as well said inhuman but I remember you mentioned playing while you were much younger.

I want to assume you wouldn’t partake in this type of terrible game again ever, with the varieties of more interesting games that have be made available for us to choose from. I just feel we are not been fair to animals by making them partake in fights just for our personal interest and entertainment, we have to also put ourselves in their own shoes and see how it would feel.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does crypto keep screwing me over?? on: April 22, 2019, 10:59:43 AM
Unfortunately, there are no guarantees in cryptocurrency. And leaving a coin for several years is not always possible. The thing is that projects enter this market and close. As easy as collecting investments.
Not all cryptocurrency does not have guarantee, sometimes we know these cryptos that have guarantee but because some of them are quite high in value to purchase, we go for the less expensive ones, there are too many coins in this market, that only few of them have guarantee and those are the ones we can find in the top 20 on the market.

Although there is still no much guarantee that they won’t fail too after encountering one or 2 challenges, just like BSV will soon collapse after facing the recent challenge that had that will get them delisted from several exchanges. So, the best coin to still stick with is Bitcoin.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The ICOs/altcoins must be followed by us on: April 22, 2019, 10:33:37 AM
One thing that has always been hard to do is to say the potential of an token when their are still at ICO stage, no matter the potential of the coin the price on the exchange determine the actual worth of the coin. You can expect any one to buy into a project that is worthless on the trading ground because at the end you still lose your money due to constant declining in price without recovery.
This is so because we focus more on seeing the project as strictly investment, and this is what majority of us are guilty of, if we see the token as a utility token, we will not see any coin as worthless no matter the value. Price of USD to my currency has been stable for a very long time now, no increase, no decrease and it has never become worthless, it is being used for its purpose.

Many of us have already deviated from this angle, so because a project refuse to increase immediately to multiply our money, we see it as worthless, without assisting in making use of it for its purpose.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: April 22, 2019, 05:31:27 AM
Bitcoin did born with privacy we don't even know who satoshi still is.

But on the other hand, there is crazy amount of scammers in crypto world. So i can't decide about kyc.
I guess satoshi lying low for now is just to show us example of how reliable the system can be when it comes to its advantage of anonymity, but like you mentioned, the good intention has been hijacked by scammers with their crazy activities.

What needs to be done now is not to condemn the KYC completely, but we just see how we can have a separation from the things that KYC is very necessary for and the things it is not necessary for, not the way everyone is just asking for KYC for both the necessary ones and the ones not necessary, take for example, investors and hunters, KYC is very necessary for investors while it is absolutely unnecessary for hunters.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the main key of success on trading platform. on: April 21, 2019, 08:05:24 PM
See when you are into trading we shouldn't panic about the market situations because the market situation cannot be same always, so it is good to wait and hold the coin as long possible until your desired target is achieved.
Panic selling is where most whales are waiting for us to get in, we should see it this way that when we panic sell, we are simply empowering someone for the future, we are indirectly packing our wealth and transferring it into someone’s account.

We may not see it directly but that us the impact of our actions in future, so we have to try as much as possible to exhibit a level of patience that will see us through and make sure that we don’t end up with regrets in future.  Whatever we persevere for now, we will have a story to tell of it when we finally become successful.
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Done Buying Cryptocoins? I AM. on: April 21, 2019, 07:44:25 PM
i am one of them, who waiting for ship to come in, because i already bought too many crypto and some altcoins i wanna hold them for a time, and some coins i want to sell them when its price go to high. It meant i am in first category.
Since you are already convinced that you have enough and the only thing you are waiting for right now is for the bull run to come and multiply your investment, it’s a good decision you have made, but if I may chip in, no one knows exactly when the bull run will come.

I know for certain that it will surely come, no doubt about that, but I think it may still be till next year before it can happen, why not still use that opportunity to go into trading, within that period, you can still make more money while at the same time waiting for your ship to come in and bail your funds out.
216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance going to delisted BitcoinSV on: April 21, 2019, 06:42:09 PM
Maybe this could be a warning against all hard forks in the future? After all someone as powerful as Craig Wright (even though we hate him lets face that he single handedly lowered the price of bitcoin which makes him powerful) could be delisted from the biggest exchange and others that followed, which means if he can't keep his coin up what makes all other hard forks know that they won't ?

This way we could totally end this hard fork wars going around and all the fake bitcoin replicas that flood the market that takes up valuable market cap that could otherwise go for coins that actually worth something. People want useless coins delisted but exchanges that list those coins get the money from there so we need to make sure not to use exchanges that use this as an advantage to make money.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Market state on: April 21, 2019, 06:02:44 PM
If I was in a position to move things in the cryptocurrency, I would first make a deep research on what made the first 2 weeks of April successful, the events that contributed to the growth and how we can push further for such event to repeat itself again if it’s beyond our control.

There is still time though, let’s wait for another 2 weeks and see what happens, I believe that henceforth, the present and future of the market will continue to be better than the past, now that we are already out of the red zone and will soon be on our way to a full bull run expected to show up soon.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KRAKEN DELISTING BSV, We are all Satoshi on: April 21, 2019, 05:15:11 PM
People need to respect satoshi and respect the system he has used all his life to build and make it a reality, we are all satoshi and we are entitled to make a decision that favors us best and not what an individual impose on us, I support whatever action these exchanges have taken or preparing to take to delist these type of coin that are of no full use to the society.

Every time I see these coins, it annoys me to know that they are created to defeat the purpose and objective of bitcoin. We need to also be united and make decisions against any other coin in the market that we feel also toe the line of BSV.
219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders on: April 21, 2019, 04:44:05 PM
We could not deny that fact. The binance team has taken all the trust and interest of many traders compared to others because of their transaparrency. Any token that gets listed there will always have a good liquidity because of the active trades and huge volumes and very easy for anyone to take advantage of that.
The point you made only shows that the project developers and team are the ones enjoying more, but I think the major thing the op is trying to point out the fact that traders on Binance platform makes money more than other trader in another platform because of the low trading fees being charged by Binance compared to other exchanges.

If it’s based on the features you mentioned, I think other exchanges too have these great features that could attract investors and not make Binance users make money more than them, but for fees, Binance is superb.
220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bulls need time on: April 21, 2019, 03:01:50 PM
As of today, we are still above $5,000 level. Bulls need to hold this $5,000 level, based on the chart, there's always a bounce on $5,000. Bears tried to go destroy the $5,000 support last few weeks. If BTC price will go down $5,000 below, it could dump harder. Range around $4,800 - $5,200 is not my trading zone, really much sideways on this area.
We are trying our best mate(in a distress call), the bears are just getting too strong and they are there too in this forum watching every of our moves, but don’t worry, we are stronger than them and I can assure you that we BULLS are up to the task and we will never allow BTC dump harder again. Hope you enjoyed my little drama lol.

Back to reality, I think the bulls are really strong now to keep the market stabilized at $5000 pending the time we get some factors that will strengthen the bulls to  pump the price harder and I believe that it will show up very soon, So let’s just keep waiting and hoping.
