Hi - It is nice to see this project getting some much deserved interest. It has been clear to me for some time that the fundamentals behind this coin are very strong; strong support from miners, fair distribution, low supply and active founder looking to improve and launch new features. The questions now are around what does the future hold?? We know that there has been some work conducted on a blockchain upgrade to convert to a POS/POW Hybrid with supernodes and that there is now interest from a start up project (EntangleIT) to collaborate on nthCoin ( https://github.com/nthCoin/nthCoin/blob/master/README.md) which is under development. So some question I have are: 1. When is the POS/POW upgrade likely to take place? 2. How many BTA will be required to run a supernode? 3. What will the interest rate be? 4. If terracoin irc channel is working fine, every new TRC client can get the recent nodes from there.
BTW, maybe we need to enhance the p2p connection management, so that it will be intelligent enough to find peers automatically.
Terracoin IRC channel? What are you talking about? I thought all cryptocurrencies have moved away from IRC for security reasons. Sorry for my ignorance. How do we enhance the p2p connection management? Lastly, I was wondering about adding SEGWIT to Terracoin. What does everyone else think about that? The IRC channel was deprecated from core 0.9.x on, if I remember right. When I get some time I will put up a block explorer for TerraCoin and you can use it as a seed node. |

Some time ago BTA was submitted to Poloniex and they do not allow duplicate submissions. Not long ago I replied to the ticket asking whether they would take a look again at BTA, but the ticket was closed with no response.
Recently I sent out a tweet asking whether anyone would like to see BTA listed on Poloniex just to see if there was interest. There appears to be interest, but maybe not enough.

Re: sending MAX_MONEY in PPC breaks wallet not sure if where to post this as i'm not sure it has any effect on BTC  edited. I've become aware of a bug which breaks the wallet.dat on PPC (and clones). It's more likely to effect clones as it involves having a balance exceeding MAX_MONEY. Basically sending any transaction with combined inputs exceeding MAX_MONEY results in failing various error checks. and client will refuse to load the wallet.dat brief list of experiments so far with MAX_MONEY=1000 - sending 10000 breaks wallet - Setting the txfee to 100, then sending 9900, breaks wallet. - setting up two inputs of 5001, then sending 5002, breaks wallet. https://github.com/Peerunity/Peerunity/issues/199 Interesting!!! If you accept other coins, use those coins to buy FLY from the market. Similar to mining other coins to be paid in FLY. Accept other coins that are traded on YObit and use those currencies to support the FLY market. in my opinion i would start to migrate away from yobit. every coin that i see that uses them as a primary exchange finds themselves with very slow responses from the yobit staff and their wallets always in maintenance. something is going on with this exchange and i would advise to steer clear from it if possible. Yeah, I forgot to mention Bleutrade... or any coin traded on Bleutrade could also be accepted to support buying FLY. |

Can we not start whit the original chain?
Back to Scrypt? or fix the Quark chain? Back to scrypt. Mutch better then Quark. I even had a Mining pool running AMS. I have to agree that I prefer Scrypt for mining also... but the work involved to bring everything back to Scrypt is a little more than I would budget. Let's see what can be salvaged with the existing blockchain, and go from there. Ok. let`s do that. To bad the old scrypt chain is not working, would be cool to see Amsterdam Classic haha If someone still has a copy of the old blockchain. I would boot it up and mine a few blocks to for the fun of it! The coins aren't worth anything, and it cannot be traded anywhere, the exercise of doing it would be something interesting to learn. |

What was the reason for the pump?
many years of accumulation, sellers dried out except for whale who profits from now in i guess total available supply is 5M ..i think real supply will be much less then this One way to find out... is to try to buy all the remaining coins.... |
