201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Bitfinex Hacked] So , learned the lesson ? on: August 03, 2016, 09:50:12 PM
Anyone know what percentage of the total bitcoins Bitfinex had were stolen? I know they stole 119,000 and this sounds like a HUGE amount to me...I'm guessing it may represent over 90% of all bitcoins Bitfinex had but maybe I'm wrong. Does any know the actual percentage?

i doubt that 90 per cent of the coins were stolen though i dont know the exact number, i hope tat you were wrong because if not then the users are screwed
202  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex HACKED - funds stolen ! on: August 03, 2016, 09:49:09 PM
what would you do if you would have let's say 100k USD or 500K USD with them? Smiley

I would ask myself why I was so stupid to have that kind of money in online wallet.
i dont think that anyone would be keeping that much money on an exchange that would be just dumb, i hope there wont be any of such hacks in the future
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: August 03, 2016, 09:48:17 PM
Only a few Alternatice Coins influence Bitcoin and its price, such as LiteCoin, DogeCoin, and maybe a few others. Other coins like Ethereum, PeerCoin and such are just copies trying to get money of the Bitcoin idea. Bitcoin would probably be the same without them, maybe a little weaker, but there would not be a very big difference than the current state.
Altcoins has different advantages it's depends on their technical behavior. ETH is way has faster confirming transaction than bitcoin. You can't just say they are dependent in bitcoin because I think they can stand alone.

Ethereum is a totally different technology from the bitcoin. It is a currency as well a tool for smart contracts.
though its trading is based on bitcoins so i think it is kinda dependent on it, bitcoin might exist without altcoins but altcoins without bitcoin cannot
204  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: August 03, 2016, 09:47:36 PM
I'm not the type of person who will easily spend money mainly for fun, I'll just use my money for charitable activities and things are more important.
the same for me, i dont spend my bitcoins at all, i think right now it is better to just save it all though if i would need it desperately i would sell it
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: August 02, 2016, 03:28:44 PM
You can stay away in gambling if you have self contol. Sometime you think your lose so you can think to go back again in gamble. Maybe its hard to do that but i know you that turn to others get busy do not think gamble for you to stay away in gambling. Do trading or get busy in your work so you can not do gambling.
Staying away in gambling is the desperate decision for every gambler, once a gambler wants to stay away that means he is addicted in gambling and he is not doing great in gambling, maybe he is not enjoying or making money in gambling or could be both reasons.

If he really wants to stay away from gambling but he never know how or he can never really tell if why he can not stay away from it is because he is already addicted to gambling and people with the symptoms that if he or she don't make a gamble for just a day he will feel the itch and needs or longing for it, then I think he will have to consult his psychiatrist for a proper consultation.

People who addicted into gambling is hard to stay away from gambling and can't do it instantly, it must be step by step to stay away from gambling.
yeah, if you addicted then you need to find other hobbies instead of gambling, it is the only way you can get away from it if you are starting to get addicted
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: August 02, 2016, 03:28:04 PM
Always keep in your mind that gambling can make lose your money easily in a second. So, try to not be greedy and self control on gambling and enjoy your profit.

Yeah, the main centre in deciding we didn't get addicted in gambling is the mind. If our minds respond to excessive gambling, then it would be bad to us and vice versa. Greed is a manifestation of our thoughts too melebihkan gambling than others and vice versa

greed is very close to gambling, because we always thought it very easy to make money from gambling so people are always greedy to make more. but true, the activity to more profitable to avoid the greedy, self-control and discipline.
every gambler is more or less greedy thats what makes them lose a lot of money, i think it is better not to gamble at all if you dont want to get addicted
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: August 02, 2016, 03:27:16 PM
You can get rich in fair Lottery. A bit of lucky and win jackpot.
a bit of luck? more lie massive amounts of luck and still a small possibility to win money, i think all the gambling games are created for people to lose their money
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is no life in Gambling can you accept this....?? on: August 02, 2016, 03:26:26 PM
HI every one i loss everything in this gambling. Now i am empty hand and now i am realize there is no life in Gambling. Like this any body thinking please share here.

It really depends on money management gambling with emotions
I agree with you, because if we play gambling just for fun it is a life and happy. And if we have website gambling then  take fees, there is a life on gambling.
If we have a website then we are already rich by now, gambling is a game to be entertain the gamblers and the gambling sites and its owners are making money out from the entertainment we get, and for me that is just normal as the rules are decided by them.

I don't get where people get that idea?
When you have a gambling site you become rich lol
NO, many times gambling sites lose money and then go under because of how expensive it is to start and keep up.
of course you become rich if you own a gambling website, they have a house edge which makes people lose money and to avoid big losses for a casino they put on a max bet which doesnt allow to bet a lot of money
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: August 02, 2016, 03:25:20 PM
Yes, I have stopped gambling and gamble after a long time.
When you are bored and want to make your thrilled, gambling is a good way to enjoy this sensation again.
However, I make sure I don't bet with money I cannot afford to lose.
well even though it is a good way to enjoy a thrilling feeling it is also a good way of losing a lot of your money so i would definitely not gamble just for entertainment purpose
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: August 01, 2016, 12:07:51 PM
Of Course you will. We play for the sake of emotion, and not for the sake of wealth.
yeah i would be gambling even if i was rich because i like the thrill that i get when i risk playing with my money and the possibility to win big money
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What stuff you buy when you win gambling? on: August 01, 2016, 12:06:56 PM
if I win I want to buy a PS4, but this time I have bought some stuff from my victories, such as mechanical keyboards gaming, speakers and headset.
its nice to see that you are buying stuff with bitcoins because it definitely makes bitcoin more popular though i dont think that you should gamble too much in order to avoid big losses
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: August 01, 2016, 12:05:42 PM
Lottery gives you hope to get reach. You would expect the prize draw. You'll be glad or sad after the draw. It's funny) So gambling, so addicting.
gambling is addicting for me either because i get a chance to win big money, though it is also addicting because these games give me a really great opportunity to make big money
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto trading or gambling on: August 01, 2016, 12:04:58 PM
trading more profitable for me, when I have a lot of capital in this trade is very profitable, and I was not too worried to lose everything.
well with trading you can lose a lot of money too because it is just like gambling, no one knows whether the price is going to go up or down, you should be careful
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: August 01, 2016, 12:04:03 PM
gambling isn't wrong but if you're addicted to it and it would ruin your life then it's wrong. remember gamble moderately
yeah, if you are starting to get addicted then just quit it until it is not too late in order to avoid losing your money, i never do too much gambling to be honest
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 10 000 within a moth! on: July 31, 2016, 08:01:38 PM
Everybody knows that the price is not going to be $10,000 with in just one month of time, that is almost impossible.
We have to wait a couple of years before we can expect the Bitcoin to be that high.
thats not almost impossible bu it is really impossible for this to happen in just a month, i think the more realistic prediction would be a decade or so
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? Who is making it? on: July 31, 2016, 08:00:57 PM
everyone in this world are the main bitcoin price movement. bitcoin prices are influenced from the many users of bitcoin. because bitcoin demand factors that can have an impact raising the price of bitcoin.

The bitcoin price is determined ultimately by the mass adoption. As long as there is good adoption, the price will rise.
thats true, as long as people are into bitcoins and they want to buy it the price is going to grow a lot and it is a really great thing for me
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much drop this week? I WAS RIGHT!!! A DROP FROM 665 to 635!!! on: July 31, 2016, 08:00:04 PM
I believe a drop in price is expected now because the price has not moved for a solid month even with that halving that did not do to much improvement to it's prosperity.
Did I call it or what?
But it was a big decrease by more than $23 Shocked
yes, it is a little bit sad to see that bitcoin price fell though in my opinion it can only mean that right now the growth will be even bigger
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price opinoin on: July 31, 2016, 07:58:59 PM
Time to go ALL IN.
yeah, if you want to make big profit right now then you should definitely buy a lot of bitcoins and then save it up for a while in order to make profit
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: sky rocketing bitcoins.......!!!!!!! on: July 31, 2016, 07:58:25 PM
10x current market cap by 2020 is reasonable prediction. That would mean about 6000 usd per coin.
i think it will definitely happen, there is a lot of time till that and in my opinion the price will grow a lot because there will be not a lot of time left till another halving
220  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: July 29, 2016, 10:52:36 PM
