Bitcoin without Altcoin ?

It is foolish to think that after creation of bitcoin developers will sit silently watching the situation and won't create tons of additional altcoins.
Actually it is very good to have multiple cryptocurrencies diversity can be motor of changes.

What is interesting is that some people are saying that bitcoin is failing to scale because of that but I think it is not a case here at all.
Every cryptocurrency has its own ecosystem. They are just different things.

I like altcoin as they allow anyone to multiply our bitcoins quick as to loose them, bitcoin without altcoins would maybe get a bigger value, as the market capitalization would be all into just one, but altcoins can make you rich the same way bitcoin made to a few, thats why people play altcoin market.

yeah, the traders love altcoin with bitcoin, if there will be no any altcoin then the traders would trade only with bitcoin and USD which would be a straight trade and the benefit would be limited but now with altcoin all the traders are multiplying their money more faster.

Only a few Alternatice Coins influence Bitcoin and its price, such as LiteCoin, DogeCoin, and maybe a few others. Other coins like Ethereum, PeerCoin and such are just copies trying to get money of the Bitcoin idea. Bitcoin would probably be the same without them, maybe a little weaker, but there would not be a very big difference than the current state.

Look the most here missed the bitcoin born when it were traded at 1 dollar and when it reached 1000 dollars, making some people milionaire instant, soo we are making money on the pumps and dumps at bitcoin, with altcoin he have an opportunity to multiply our bitcoins safe and faster, i doubt if altcoins didnt exist bitcoin price would be soo big. Even with some coins being similiar bitcoin, only it has big support, look at eth it were 250ksatoshis todays its the most traded coin, atleast i believe it is.

I dont think those altcoins owners think that way. Of course it is for their own profit. They see a large money come in with bitcoin so duplicating it will be a good chance to be rich. That is one good reason for that.

Yeah, it's basically altcoin is a folk and bitcoin is his country. Without the people of a country will not be robust in the face of any challenge that comes along. Altcoin can give you good luck for us and give an advantage to magnify and multiply bitcoin we have. Without altcoin bitcoin will be a breeze then

I  pretty much agree  that this two are independent but  have a mutualism  relationship.  One benefits from the other one.  Without altcoin, i wont be  in bitcoin.  Altcoin is one way where people get to know bitcoin.  Beside, altcoin gives demand for bitcoin since majority of altcoin can be  bought by bitcoin only.

In terms of usage as a currency, all the currencies are independent. But I think some people use bitcoin to buy altcoins.

I don't think price of bitcoin will go high if that happen. Just like fiat money we have different kinds of it like USD, Yen, Peso, Pounds, Etc.. and it makes the market of once money's value go up.

this is not true. bitcoin is independent currency but market capitalize won't stay into just one. if altcoin have crated ever then market capitalize still devide into bitcoin and other fiat currency. just see what is going on in bitcoin to fiat trading.
altcoins are helping bitcoin to grow up because it opens lots of door of trading and investing.

yes that is a fact and bicoin has no direct concern with altcoins. the altcoin has no effect of the price or value of bitcoin. these are just the speculation and false news of the people otherwise bitocin itself a stable currency now.

It will be better to say that all other crypto currencies are because of bitcoin only and bitcoin is not because of other crypto currencies. Ethereum is a totally different technology from the bitcoin. It is a currency as well a tool for smart contracts.

They are both crypto currencies but  they have differences in some aspects as you said ETH is faster to confirm transaction compare to bitcoin. All altcoins can stand alone same as btc . Altcoin is not dependent on Bitcoin and Bitcoin does not depend also to altcoins but  creating an altcoin would be beneficial since you can converts those alts to btc which we can make also money.

Well ,i agree because ethereum is next to bitcoins as not expected when ethereum is at low price now it is even higher and companies are using that coin.more years to come maybe it the second and the most common coin other than bitcoins.
