201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinFoundation - PR person ? on: March 28, 2013, 06:51:23 PM
Id be happy to discuss this with the Bitcoin F. I have a background in relations, political and business. I have the ability to "switch" between nerd and lamen. And I can clearly see when and why someone doesn't understand something in any given explanation.
Basically, the needs you are describing (and more) fit directly into my forte.
I will be happy to give them any info they want and they can decide if I am beneficial.
Let me know Smiley

Yes anyone with a use for wordpress, needs to use wordpress w/ bitcoins.
Although the true #'s are going to come from people just finding out its an option strictly to circumnavigate restrictions. They would of otherwise never known of bitcoin. I'd say this is the beginning... finally.

215  Other / Off-topic / Block Reward Halving + BFL Equipment = What for Mining / Price In Your Opinion? on: October 17, 2012, 03:55:30 PM
The combination of the reward being split in two and the hash rate skyrocketing is going to have effects on mining operations and market price.
What do you think the outcome will be.
Chronological answers encouraged, such as -
Day 1- So and so....
Day 5- .....
Day 10 - .....
Etc.

219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: It's Laissez-Fair on: September 10, 2012, 04:11:22 PM

Bitcoin
It's Laissez-Fair

Good slogan?  Sorry couldn't help myself Wink

No. Bad slogan.

Bitcoin
It's Laissez-Faire

Much better.

It's much better with the pun that Erik intended.
"Laissez-fair" is a great libertarian slogan.

For Paymium, my associates and I went for a more politically neutral slogan: "money over IP"

MOIP is to VOIP
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin would make payroll awesome on: August 31, 2012, 11:00:13 PM
As I sit and wait for my check to be printed and signed by payroll dept.,
So I can drive to the bank (the one where the check is issued from so it can be done same day)
Where i had to open an account just for this situation
So I can cash first and then deposit (Thus avoiding a hold).
And have access to some buying power.

It would be awesome if they paid me in BTC,
Just issue distributions to everyone's address in the morning.
Shit by lunch its good to go.

Some guys have to deposit check and wait for clearance which is a nightmare.

Just thinking out loud
