There are like 50 of these coins all doing the same thing and nobody wants to actually use them for gaming. This is a case where there is actually no need to use a blockchain.

People still dont understand the basic fundamentals of bitcoin and will continue to write hit piece after hit piece and we will keep chugging along.

Its a free market so if chinese miners get blocked, then other miners will sprout up. They could even still sell the hardware and just not run it.

Do you really believe that change.org is going to persuade the government to give back the money they seized? If so I have a perpetual motion machine to sell you.

personally I am going to hold until maybe november or around the period of time when core announces they will not follow through with the 2x part of segwit2x. Probably will push some people on the fence to buy BCC.

deflationary currency is a really bad idea from a current economic perspective. We are much better off with national fiat currencies and then using bitcoin as a store of value/ transitory currency for other uses.

Im really surprised how new this coin is and how many pages there already is. Most new coins really dont have anything in comparison, there must be a ton of interest. I joined the signature campaign today, looking forward to being in it until it ends.

Bitcoin is very hard to just start earning without either offering services, selling something or similar activities. it is just like real money, there is no easy way to make real money. There are some ways that take less effort, but they also have a higher chance of screwing you (trading/speculating). You could earn a bit with your signature on here, but it is a very small amount. Your best bet is to buy like 20 dollars a week of bitcoin from your main job.

This was tried with the bitcoin bowl, but people still dont really understand exactly what bitcoin is and it is extremely hard to show on a short advertisement. Our best bet is to put that money into other methods which would most likely be better at bringing more people in and showing them how it works.

Im not sure what will end up actually making more money in the long run, holding BCC or buying alts now while many people exited for BCC. I usually say go against the grain and buy some smaller less liquid altcoins that people will pay to get back in after august first. Depending what you buy, that would probably be your best bet short term. BCC is going to drop a lot the first days. If you plan to hold it for a long period of time it might go up.

It will scale eventually, much of the problem with the transaction fees at this point in time is companies are not optimizing the code or their fee structure and paying way too much. Exchanges especially are charging way too much when they could get away with a much cheaper fee.

The entire history of bitcoin has been bad news after bad news, it hasnt stopped it from surviving and I dont think this week is any different. Even when things look very down and gloomy, things always seem to continue. If you get burnt out, the best thing to do is take a break for a week or so then come back.
|
|
|
I highly doubt it will overtake the main chain, but that doesnt mean I dont think there will be some value to it long term. I personally will be holding onto my BCC just incase something ends up happening. You never know what could happen. Many of the people who dumped etc regret it now.

No, it was in oldy days man. Now, only very small part of bitcoin and other coins are used in darknet. Crypto is used for trade and other actions not for activities in deepweb. It's a fantacy.
... You're very wrong. The day we saw alphabay go down we saw a large drop in transactions. Bitcoin is still the number one used currency on the dark web. Alphabay took ETH and some sites take monero , but its mostly bitcoin still.

u make other coins bad but simple cant answer me a question for your coin??? look at your own coin before write something bad about a other coin. because it looks like u do nothing for spreadcoin. if there is not helium, spreadcoin have 0,0 VALUE so be happe there will helium in future. thats the only reason why your coin pumped. WHAT DO I NEED FOR A SERVICENODE?SERVICENODES COMPETITIVE COLLATERAL SERVICE APPS whats with this points? and what u done from your roadmap? http://spreadcoin.info/roadmap.phpGeorgem sold all his SPR so he doesnt care. His strategy for the last 4 months has been coming into the forum each month and saying "BIG THINGS ARE COMING" without ever delivering. Perhaps when the coin goes to the floor he might pick up some again and then start his pump all over.

Just because you raised that much money doesnt mean the idea isnt stupid. Plus its run by Dan Larimar who has a fantastic history of creating projects and handing them over to the community after he cashes out. Bitshares, Steemit, now EOS. Lets see if hes still running it in 2 years. I would guess not.
|
|
|
Its a risk but even if there is a split if you buy now you will have coins on both chains so.

793 days since Georgem took over this project.
One wallet release in this time.
pretty sad yeah no new wallet, georgem awol on this thread for awhile, but tbh, with price up from 2k sat at beginning of 2017 to current 56k sat, who's complaining? purely because of helium. The second after the snapshot people will dump like crazy unless georgem gives them a reason to stay

On exchange yet?
on cryptopia, not in a huge hurry to get on bittrex or other main exchanges until the coin becomes a bit more distributed through the weekly airdrop and the large distribution in november.
