201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: January 2021 — share your gambling experiences on: January 23, 2021, 02:22:19 AM
Nothing happened I guess.

With the price change that happened and the pandemic that we are experiencing right now, my family kind of talking to me about not spending that much money so that we could save if another lockdown would occur. It is pretty boring and all we've done with our first three weeks is to just work our ass out and pass some important papers.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 23, 2021, 02:00:06 AM
Indeed, it is actually interesting. But this fight, won't pay a fee to watch this. Will watch those free streaming platforms.  Wink Is this match near to reality or are we still in the discussion mode here? Seems both sides have not decided if they will push thru this fight this year or not.

As far as I know, it is now being talked about.

Despite that, I think this match will surely go and this will be a popular fight this year not because Pacquiao will be fighting an MMA fighter but also because maybe people are still looking at how Pacquiao will be performing in this match. I am still rooting for a Mayweather - Pacquiao  rematch that is why I want to see how will Pacquiao will perform.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of so many cryptocurrencies? on: January 23, 2021, 01:43:18 AM
Mostly to either scam investors or start a coin of their own.

There are a lot of goals for these cryptocurrencies in the market and I think these two are the main reasons why they are creating so many coins. Investors can't even keep up with the latest coins with the numbers of it. I hope investors could learn about legitimate and scam projects so in time, scam projects could be lessened.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: January 22, 2021, 11:30:17 AM
To get rid of poverty and I'm sure that crypto is the right place to be for that, crypto has high volatility and that's what makes everything senseful, all one have to learn is the perfect timing to enter and buy, many countries with economy issues are adopting crypto today because they have same believe, crypto can change people's lives

Many of us have decided to try cryptocurrencies because of the earnings. The sooner you start learning the basics, the sooner you can make good money on it. In addition, I myself can regulate when and how much time to spend on this activity. The crypto market is developing dynamically.

It is not that easy.

There are a lot of people trying to get in but they are not actually trying to learn what to do after that. They did invest, but when the price falls, they would be putting all the blame on Bitcoin not knowing that what we are doing here is not that instant, not that easy. The fact that you put your money into Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies mean you are willing to risk your money and you can afford to lose it.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: January 22, 2021, 11:18:14 AM
That is a huge opportunity, to be honest.

Just imagine the price is at $3K or $4k and now we are seeing the price at $30K. It is more than 10x the time you've invested and if you have that amount to invest, that is just massive. Still, I don't say that people could get that timing right since the market is very unpredictable. I am just saying how big that profit would be if that timing is right.
206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that a new ATH is coming or a crash? on: January 22, 2021, 09:35:48 AM
The ATH did come.

Still, we are all expecting the price to not hang there for a long time. The price is not at $35K and for me, that is not that bad considering the price of Bitcoin in the past. Right now, I don't think we will be able to have another ATH but I think it will be staying at the price mark or price range. We might see the price at $40K but not go higher than that.
It's not bad to expect a price crashing down for bitcoin because this will create a lot of chances for all of us to accumulate more bitcoins. But if traditional, institutional investors will keep coming for bitcoin, then its possible that bitcoin could rally into a bigger figure like $50k-$60k. And in fact, many in the crypto economy believed that this year might see BCT touching a six-digit number for bitcoin price.

That is really possible.

The price rose so high this year and it is really amazing seeing it. We've been waiting for it for some time and I think the price decreasing happening right now doesn't mean it is done. It is just a correction and after some time we will be seeing the price again setting its course to $50K and $60K. I don't know about $100K but I can wait.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy all Lotto Combinations - Win Big on: January 22, 2021, 09:32:27 AM
This is an amazing story, this is a big brain play by Stefan. It required a lot of work and effort, filling out almost 2 million lottery tickets manually will take almost forever and even submitting them to different branches. Even if they were able to make only 82% of the combinations, this kind of odds is still risky. I wonder if this kind of plan will still work if a lottery prize accumulates very high.

Lucky enough for them they were able to make some profits out of it and not got wasted anything else not only efforts but money would have gone as they were still short of 18%. Fortune favours the brave what I can imagine form this situation and not sure if still people would try out all such things at present as well to win it.

I don't know how that works though.

Here in our country, we have this lottery where people guess which will be the combinations of numbers that appear. There are a lot of numbers and that also means there are a lot of possible combinations. For example, guessing 6 numbers would appear out of numbers 1-45, I am not good with math but as far as I know, using the formula of Combination that is like 8145060 possibilities and multiply that to the price of a ticket (P20) is like P162901200 or $3388108.75 with just a prize of P28 Million which is like $582359.40, that is a huge loss.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy all Lotto Combinations - Win Big on: January 22, 2021, 05:24:47 AM
I think I heard this before.

There is this Facebook page discussing amazing things and this is one of them. It is quite amazing and as far as I know, they are banned in a certain place because of what they are doing. Still, they generated a lot of profits that, based on the narration of the video, have a lot of investors at that time to fund that activity.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 22, 2021, 04:39:36 AM
Manny Pacquiao is past his prime but despite all of that, boxing is his forte and I doubt that McGregor could win this fight especially if he will be facing Pacquiao head on.

The reality is  Manny Pacquiao has past his prime but he is beating boxers at their prime.

We are talking of a legend here, he is older than other boxers but he is still killing them, you don't see them in other boxers, that's why he is special.
If a boxers who train boxing all their lives has no chance against Manny, why think Conor McGreggor has a chance?

That is the amazing thing here.

At that age, a lot of boxers already hang their gloves, already retired. While they are enjoying their retirement, Manny Pacquiao is still in the ring and even in the service as a Senator of our country. McGregor has no chance to win and I hope that this will not be his last fight before retiring since we are expecting a huge fight as his last fight.
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin dumping right now? on: January 22, 2021, 04:29:38 AM
I am expecting this fall, to be honest.

The price is quickly increasing in the past week and I thought it would stop at $30K but it didn't. This fall is not actually because of the political changes that are happening but because of the fact that the price is having a correction right now. After some time, I think the price will just go back and might break the price mark at $50K.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your price expectations for 2021 on: January 22, 2021, 02:37:45 AM
the reality of bitcoin is unpredictable, my hope is that this year bitcoin remains on the right track and there are no large FUDs in circulation in the crypto space. For a price that is currently very volatile, I hope that 50k can be reached by the end of 2021.

Considering the price change that happened, this will happen.

With a lot of people turning their heads into cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin in these times, there will be a lot of new investors. Another thing is the fact that there are a lot of platforms that may consider accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Increasing its adoption could lead to greater price range in the future.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy restart big Boom and prosperity Coming on: January 22, 2021, 02:34:18 AM
Probably it will happen partially but not accurate as your asserting. Because nothing is fixed and none volatile in the current world. Presumably, the world will shift very quickly to recover from this circumstance but it is not too susceptible to maintain effectively. To recover from this circumstance we require to get together all over the world and have to face these problems power, proficiency, patience, and intellect. Smiley

That "togetherness" would not be part of it.

There are a lot of people getting a lot of benefits from this situation. Those people are earning a lot of money and that also brings taxes to the government which also helps the country from the slump. Although, those poor people that can't do much during these times are having a hard time. It will be more about power and intellect.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 22, 2021, 01:37:23 AM
2.   Are crypto currencies really money? The poll result was; Yes (79.9%) and no (20.1%)
[/b]What is your opinion about these polls?

Of course it's a big YES! Bitcoin, ethereum and any cryptocurrency is a real money and what we are called them is digital currency. Meaning these digital currencies are real money that is converted into a digital form like coins, tokens and etc. in order for you to make them into a fiat money you need first to convert it into your local fiat money so that you may used it from your day to day basis.

I think people are having some wrong beliefs here.

It is true that we could use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies here as a payment or in our transactions that is just because it has value. I won't call it money but a currency, just a cryptocurrency. We don't need to call it money, it is a cryptocurrency, it has value and can be used to pay for things. Money is the valuable paper the banks are distributing and what we are used to using, Bitcoin is way better than those.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 22, 2021, 01:24:29 AM
In my opinion, McGreggor has recently suffered a serious loss of face and will now have to win. not only in terms of sport, but in other areas it did not go entirely according to plan. No one is too old to learn, not even mma fighters. dont know about the fight, but he used to be a favourite if he is in good shape.

He's still doing great based on his past fights.

But still, I doubt that this is his way of regaining his honor or his face because all I know is that he's doing this fight not just because he wants to win but because it would really generate profit. Manny Pacquiao is past his prime but despite all of that, boxing is his forte and I doubt that McGregor could win this fight especially if he will be facing Pacquiao head on.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino on: January 21, 2021, 10:38:37 AM
There are those people.

These people either needed the money so badly or they just want to earn a lot of money by cheating the syatems of these casinos or gambling sites. It might be true that they can earn a lot of money from it but they could sacrifice their lives and went to life inside bars and if they are not caught, that will live in their conscience as long as they are alive.

If you look objectively at these people there is no big difference between stealing from the casino or the bank. A bank robber also looks for easy money and is willing to do whatever necessary and accepting the consequences. Stealing ATMs became very common in my country, its done at night without violence or guns. No one getting hurt except the insurance companies. Cheating the casino has similar effects and there can also be jail time in the end. Or bring blacklisted from casinos for the rest of your life.

I think there is a huge difference.

These people are cheating the casino and these people around them didn't know that while those people robbing the bank are so obvious since they will be forcing their way through to get that money. Cheating and robbing are different from each other in terms of these situations. Someone can get hurt and be killed during a robbery, in cheating, there is a low chance of that happening.
But in general sense it is just the same, they do only differ in actions made but in overall concept or situation then stealing someones money is a crime and both things are on that criteria.
They didnt really able to beat up the casino in legal way but on the way of cheating which is unforgivable and its just right for them to be fined and charged up some cases with the things that they had done.
Beating up by only means  of legal way would be considered amazing by thru means of cheating then it doesnt really give out that kind of impression because this is really as good as stealing
and stealing is bad on any angle. Once you get caught then expect on what would be the next thing to happen.

Don't get me wrong though.

Both stealing and cheating are a crime and yeah they are the same at that point but pointing out cheating the casino and stealing the bank has a huge difference. But yeah, they are both crime and crime is really punishable by law. But I should add here, as stealing the bank is a bold move as cheating the casino won't be that easy to notice.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: January 21, 2021, 09:12:45 AM
This product does not mean encouraging the gamblers to gamble more. This is only in place so that these gamblers will have to reduce their losses. But it does not mean that other efforts such as taking care of their health or minimizing gambling is set aside. This is just another product for their protection.

That is true.

Although you should know that despite the main reason for this project or service, gamblers will obviously take this as an advantage for their addiction. They are getting money from these services which means adding more amount of money that they could gamble. And since this is just insurance for their money, the mental health of these gamblers are still at risk.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvest initial investment, or keep profits? on: January 21, 2021, 09:07:26 AM
I would reinvest but we will be asking the same question; When?

For sure Bitcoin will be having a time that the price is low which also means that it would be a great time to reinvest. Although the chances of it happening are there, we don't know how low and when it will be that low. Despite all of that, I would be reinvesting because for sure, Bitcoin will be having a profitable price in the future.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best to inheritance of btc and crypto on: January 21, 2021, 05:07:51 AM
Just give them the private keys.

There are a lot of trustworthy people where you could leave a key of a container or a safe that contained certain things like your private key or storage where you put all of your cryptocurrencies. As far as I know, there are banks like that where you could put some of your things and if you die, that account will be passed to someone whom you wanted to.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this scam go on? on: January 21, 2021, 04:47:09 AM
In just 11 years of cryptocurrencies existence we've seen a series of shitcoins coming up, making a choice on which coin to hold aside $BTC & $ETH $BET $DOT $ADA & LINK is becoming difficult, how best can I get to know more viable  projects like the ones I already have? When will the proliferation of shitcoins in crypto space stop? Who will check mate the proliferation of shitcoins?

I think your path may be quite simple. Study all possible scam projects for which you have the strength. Study the most popular scams that managed to deceive people, study the average scams that managed to declassify in time, but which all just managed to cash in, and study those who were already exposed at first. This will help you get a picture of what is happening and understand what connects all the scam projects to each other.

Still, we should be all careful.

Not all of the scams happening are the same scams although most of them have the same process or same way of scamming people. As long as we see projects or coins that are so good to be true, there is a high chance of it being a scam. With thousands of altcoins on the market, there are a huge number of scam out there.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this scam go on? on: January 20, 2021, 10:10:13 AM
Hope we can stop them, but we can't.

There are thousands of new cryptocurrencies being started in a year and with a lot of that, people will continue to invest. As long as investors continue to invest, there will be a continuous making of these scam projects/shitcoins in the market. When will it stop? I don't know, all I know is that if people would stop investing in these projects, for sure these will also stop but that is just so close to impossible.
