201  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: July 23, 2015, 08:21:47 PM
Is your predicton invalid if we get above $315?

I placed my capitulation about $385 - $400. Above $400 I am definitely wrong.

I am just curious, do you think that after final capitulation BTC (& other cryptos) will start a new multi-year bull market?
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: July 23, 2015, 08:12:31 PM
People are usually always wrong in short term predictions but i will watch with interest anyway. I had about $600 as my target back when it touched $1900 so you may be right... and BTC already touched target so I don't expect it to go double digits.. although LTC hasnt touched target so it may drag BTC around at these prices for a while.

You should review my record (courtesy of Armstong and my interpretations). I have called every major move in BTC since $1000.

In May I posted all over the place in these forums predicting a rise in summer to $315 and then a fall back below $150.

Is your predicton invalid if we get above $315?

Yes, next months are going to be unbelievable.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: July 19, 2015, 08:15:14 PM
Today the general meeting of a certain Finnish company that already owns about 1% of XMR outstanding, has decided to refocus the company's mission to be a Monero fund, with the objective of converting its BTC holdings to XMR, and issuing shares to select parties and use the proceeds to acquire more XMR.

And how will this certain Finnish company acquire XMR for their fund - via exchange or directly from miners?
205  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 16, 2015, 10:42:36 PM
I think if we go Below 260 the uptrend is broken and we will have the same boring 230-250 range for another 6 months leading up to the halving.

+2

Still 370+ days for halving. 6 months sideways would be brutal.

Could also be the same as with LTC people front running the halving.

I can give you first hand info about Slovenia. Armstrong feeling about Slovenia is quite good. Chart of GDP growth published by Zarathustra is correct, but this growth is fake. People really should also look at the debt and then check for correlation.

We went into our real-estate/financial/pension crisis with low level of debt, today we are just like any other EU country - no more room for mistakes. We haven't really made any political/structural changes in the last 10-15 years. Our pension system is unsustainable and we are already taxed between 50-70%. Level of corruption is high (high % of GDP is government). Next crisis won't be fun.

I believe this chart tells you all about our fake recovery. Our companies are hurting due to high taxes, bloated government sector and regulations.

Check below why this is also fake?

I believe recent drop is only because many highly educated young people moved to Germany, Austria, Canada, USA, Australia, UK. We have around 20k newborns per year.
Mostly young and higly educated people that moved from Slovenia in the last years speak trully horrific story. I know many that moved.
People that left country:
2008    2009  2010  2011  2012  2013
1.930 1.969 2.331 3.888 7.905 5.392

Slovenians are smart people.

We are not smart - maybe compared to the rest of Balkan (if you check IQ by nation), but we are highly socialistic country, people are still taught communist ideas even in universities. I am an anarchist and I have not yet been able to encounter similar people in our country. Smiley

You don't see much binge drinking in Ljubljana.

Bullshit - totally opposite is true.

They're the people who make you believe in Europe.

Hehe, that's is true. Let's not forget that our grandfathers killed around 200k people after the WW2, just because they were political opponents (mainly Serbs & Croats) of communistic ideas. We are for big unsustainable ideas.

XMR is not going anywhere with just one exchange, which even went full KYC.

What are you talking about? Last I checked there were 4 exchanges, but Poloniex is dominating. Poloniex is not exactly full KYC. There are also other ways to buy/sell XMR (shapeshift, otc) without KYC or AML.

More exchanges would help with visibility, but this is not price guarantee. XMR is doing very good with just one central exchange, well at least better than 500 other coins (some of them are listed on more than 20 exchanges and they are still worth almost 0).

XMR is currency and far more important than exchanges is actual demand and it's use in the real world commerce. This whole mentality that exchanges are the single most important factor is just idiotic. Bitcoin would still be at $0.01 without certain commerce sites. Translation to Chinese and other languages, active code development and active users are far more important than adding XMR to some crapy exchange.

Wow...  Just heard of you master from tradingview.com.  Heard good things about you.  I see why.  Thanks!

I'm sorry, what r u talking about?

I am guessing, but there is chat room and probably someone mentioned you there and this user then had to announce to you and the rest of the world that he will follow you. I guess you are popular now.
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 13, 2015, 07:30:24 AM
This time is different - only idiots are selling now. They will buy back higher, longterm trend has changed.
210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: July 10, 2015, 06:16:37 PM

But I guess what you're saying is: fuck the order book? Cheesy

People react in anticipation of price changes not on order book changes. Money will come if people think price is going up.

I agree with luc that what we have seen is a completed zigzag from the top to 152, and that things are looking pretty bullish lately, but I disagree that what we have off the bottom is impulsive without ignoring waves that are there or assuming waves that aren't there. So I'm still for the large B wave if we see a decent rally here.

Do we really have to see impulse wave? I don't know much about EW, but could we not make something like rounding bottom (slow change of trend and then acceleration as it moves higher).

I think we are going to test the lows. By the end of summer we are going to have resolution of the bigger triangle - up or down. Let's pray it'll go up.  Grin

Yep, normally BTC withdrawals are almost instant, but now they'll take awhile. I have now another withdrawal, and it seems it'll take some time also...

Maybe since the hack happened they have smaller amounts in their hot wallet.
