201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel ICOs try to raise too much? on: November 26, 2017, 07:57:57 PM
One thing I've learned in the ICO's and altcoins world is that it does no matter the amount they raise but the project itself. You can take by example the NEBL coin which has raised 500 BTC in their ICO and now it's worth more than 20x ico price. Or you can see ATL ICO which raised more than 15M and is worth -60% ico price and it's on their way to be a scam apparently. So it's very subjective ICO's rasing too much because in the end they have nothing to show us but marketing.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CND] Cindicator - Hybrid Intelligence for Financial Markets - September 12 on: November 26, 2017, 07:44:46 PM
Is there any staking option available with cindicator coin?
Please stop commenting nonsense stuff if you didnt even read the annoucement, mainly with a newbie account. What makes you think there's a staking option in a ECR20 token? If you are trying to raise your level and have more activity please go to the off topic or to your local board topics. CND isn't stakeable or mineable.
203  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question about ordering from Bitmain on: November 26, 2017, 07:37:33 PM
They are legit and I have never heard of them straight up ripping someone off but their customer service sucks and they don’t give a shit about their small customers.
I have no doubts they are legit, but they suck with customer service and not only with the small ones. My friend has a huge mining "farm" and he had issues with every order he made like paid products showing unpaid (actually he had to send some emails to change this), delay with the delivery and wrong products delivered. You don't have idea how hard was to change this product, we had to contact the chinese support.
204  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: 0,04 Bitcoin stolen from Blockchain.info wallet on: November 26, 2017, 07:29:29 PM
I am really sad to hear your story, even now with btc almost hitting 10k USD. That is worth 400 USD and it's a good money. I will never use blockchain.info for safety reasons. It's one of the biggest wallet in the internet and of course one of the most targeted to hack and stealing accounts. Did you share your private key to someone else or chose a weak password? Always enable 2FA from google or Authy. Those 2 apps have saved my life twice when I almost got hacked on Bittrex and Novaexchange.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successful ICO Experiences on: November 26, 2017, 07:17:05 PM
The new hype seems to be the investments on blockchain and revolutionary payment methods ICO's. I have invested on NEBL coin on August, bought some on ICO and some as soon as it hit the exchange. Made more than 12x and I am still holding for 120x, check out the roadmap and what they have achived. It's for sure a hidden gem.
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best online payment method for Bitcoin that cannot be charged back? on: November 26, 2017, 07:05:35 PM
I understand your concern about a payment method that cannot be charged back. I have been scammed once with this situation. It may sound funny, but the best method it's altcoins. If you buy altcoins, there's less chance to be charged back. Here in my country we are using ticket method and debt cards to avoid this situation. You can also use bank transfer, and localbitcoins accept it.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💎💎[ANN][NEBL][[PoS] Neblio - 🏙Enterprise Blockchain Solutions on: November 25, 2017, 11:58:59 PM
it looks like the original bitcoin wallet to me,

whats new in this project? looks a clone
Tell me how many coin got Desktop (obviously), android, ios, raspberry pi, electrum, wallet?
they even release the android wallet while the ico is still on running.

the dev is super productive and hard working.

never fail with their roadmap.

next job > RestfulAPI (this is a big thing).

https://nebl.io/roadmap/

Has their been any update as to whether Nebl is on pace to achieve RESTful APIS in Q1 2018?  If so, are we looking at January or March?
If the roadmap says Q1 for restful api, team has until March to develop it, why asking for dates? Have patience and stay tuned for more info in the official channels (slack and telegram). Our developer is very active there and any questions you have, you can always ask directly to him.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this Good TIme to Invest in Ether at Price 470$ ? Short or Long Term? on: November 25, 2017, 11:52:08 PM
Ethereum price seems to be the easiest to buy and sell and take profits. Price always hits ath, have a great pullback and it's the same thing again. I sold at $400 months ago when btc had a rally to more than 2k USD and I rebuy at $140. I invested in some altcoins and ICOS now and with the current price I am willing to have some ethereum stock. But answering your questio, I think it's a long term.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: November 24, 2017, 07:17:40 PM
Of course that thousand online casinos accept bitcoin because it is an easy way to control the payments, but I don't see them using it in the real world since it's hard to control it and government will not be able to correctly tax it. In the end i'ts all about the government rules, because if it's easy to do money laundering with fiat currency, just imagine what they can do with bitcoin! Maybe if someday we find a good breakeven of regularization for both government and bitcoin users, I am sure bitcoin will be used for casinos and also most of thing that we usually buy with fiat money.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top 5 Tips For New Bitcoin Investors on: November 24, 2017, 07:11:19 PM
We should also pointing out the top 5 tips for new bitcoin investors that they should never do! 1- Do not trust in any crypto guru of twitter, 2- Do not trust in any guy from Wall street about bitcoin, 3- Do not truste Charlie Shrem, 4- Do not listen Vitalik Buterin bs about bitcoin, 5 - Do not be greedy. I follow these steps since 2015 and I am good so far. Basically you have to do your own strategy and you'll certainly will see the profits come to the table.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My rules to pick a coin that could be x3-x10 or more . on: November 24, 2017, 10:46:43 AM
As you see I'm not talking about ico but thanks for your information .
  Grin I think he already knew that you are not talking about ICO.
By inspection, I'm sure he is not slow enough not to read old coin in item number 4.
You're right. It would make more sense if he was talking about ICO, because those kind of coins he mentioned when hit exchanges, the price can rise so high that you may miss the entry point. The best is to invest them early on ICO. I had the lucky to invest in the NEBL coin on ICO, they were suppose to have 100M supply coin but didnt sell the whole amount and dev burned the unsold tokens. From 100M coins we have now something around 13M, very low supply what will make the coin have a good value in the future. But he is right when mentioned the low supply.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hits $13,000 on Zimbabwe exchange on: November 24, 2017, 10:35:55 AM
Maybe the only people who can afford to buy bitcoin in Zimbabwe is the rich ones. I doubt that they have such a great volume or even demand. That's why the price is so high and they don't care to pay that price. Unless they have a government regulation to buy and sell bitcoins, it makes no sense to buy at this price when they can buy in foreign exchanges.
213  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bittrex scams $millions and the community is in denial phase! on: November 24, 2017, 10:32:59 AM
It's funny and interesting how every exchange starts and then how they "end". When bittrex was launched their support worked 24/7 perfectly on time. Nobody had issues back then. Once they got big and riches the problems came together, lack of support, accounts closed with no apparently reason and listing shit coins besides the best ones. I won't be surprised if Bittrex suddenly disappear from the map, saying it was a hack attack. Kucoin is in the initial phase and they are the best exchange so far to have a good support. Let's see what happens in the next year.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💎💎[ANN][NEBL][[PoS] Neblio - 🏙Enterprise Blockchain Solutions on: November 23, 2017, 06:52:20 PM
I am willing to buy a raspberry pi device to start staking at a good energy cost because actually I am staking at my laptop using Windows and it's not so energy efficient. Does the pi wallet needs also sync with the network? Has anybody staked sucsessfully already?
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Quantstamp - Listed in Binance and Houbi in less than 2 hours - on: November 23, 2017, 06:48:22 PM
As of now...

$0.159193 (53.78%)
0.00001943 BTC (56.24%)
0.00043615 ETH (55.14%)

Just in case, do not confuse ICO price with the first price traded. ICO was .04 $ for most people.

Can you explain a little bit more? I am really getting confused with all these discounts, ICO prices and first price traded. What is the difference between ICO price and first price traded? And is first price traded the one that we see in the beginning of the graph at coinmarketcap, or coinmarketcap shows the price at the moment the coin is added to the site?
That is easy. Ico price is the price that the coin was early sold by the team, when the only way you could buy was out of the exchanges. Usually you send btc, eth, dash etc to the adress of the team and they give you their coins from ICO. First price traded is the initial price of the coin once it hits the exchange, when people start to make their first trades in the exchange we can have two prices: below ico and above ico, and that's where people get confused. In this case it's above ICO price what is very good.
216  Other / Off-topic / How To Use Espers Wallet for Windows Users on: November 22, 2017, 09:15:23 PM
Hey guys! I made this tutorial for Windows users who are not getting using the wallet or are with your Esp2 stucked.

First step is to download the current version of windows wallet v0.8.6.9
Link: https://espers.io/download/wallet/windows/Espers-qt-v0.8.6.9.zip

Now you'll download the last version of bootstratp to avoid being stucked at 704194 block. This last version is above the block 706000 so you won't have any problems:

Link: https://mega.nz/#!lo0XATQR!VrztrfbX5fcW7jt0xcWNB-RgA7Ke992wa1sMdV2q6_I

Install the wallet as usual

Note: If you have already the right wallet installed, you can jump this step. Always remember to make a backup before doing these steps

Now you'll look for the esp2 folder in this following way: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\esp

(AppData is a hidden folder so if you can't see it please follow this step: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/show-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-vista/)

Delete all the files in this folder EXCEPT wallet.dat, espers.config and espers-qt

Note: If you delete wallet.dat you'll lose your private key.

Extract the files content of bootstrap and copy the files to your Esp2 wallet folder to replace the files that you deleted.

Open the Espers.config with notepad and delete all the addnode lines and replace them by the following:

addnode=173.212.230.232:22448
addnode=185.167.206.44:22448
addnode=[2a0b:b600:110::44]:22448
addnode=137.74.199.1:22448
addnode=[2001:0:9d38:90d7:30ff:226:ab96:fb52]:22448
addnode=[2002:2a33:21c4::2a33:21c4]:22448
addnode=193.125.210.62:22448

Now open your wallet and wait for sync, you should see your coins once the sync is done!

Any problems you can ask me here. Donations esp2 adress: Eg21HEi79rgyRq2ZrN8Ay5numZJm545Mhk
217  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Edwardard] Manager of the bounty of Dmarket - scammers! on: November 22, 2017, 06:43:55 PM
I do believe that the accusation here is that Edwardard ran a campaign that wasn't sanctioned by DMarket and that some of the signature code (?) contained malicious code.
I've checked the signature code, unless altered later (or unless I did miss something), the links seem to be genuine and leading to the correct sites.
If the whole basis of this accusation is that Edwardard ran a successful campaign advertising DMarket that wasn't sanctioned or funded by DMarket,
then I don't see any scam happening here, especially not from the side of Edwardard (the hidden runner, the one who hired them could have disclosed they aren't running an official campaign).
I see this similar to eg me hiring aTriz to advertise my affiliate link for CoinBase via a signature campaign. Everyone gets paid and the campaign completes.
Would this make either me or aTriz a scammer? I don't think so.

Well I read everything here and for me there was no scam. Edwardard is a honest campaign manager and this is the first scam accusation I've seen against him so far. The only thing I can think that he made here was to run a bounty without sanction by the team. Maybe he wanted to create experience for new jobs and did that for free. If it's the reason so it makes sense for me.
218  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase - Views Please on: November 22, 2017, 04:13:19 PM
When you said mining project, you meant to send your gains of mining to Coinbase? I think Coinbase do not accept some coins came from mining, so be careful before you do it. About the support, Coinbase is the worst I have ever seen, even than Poloniex which I have had several issues with withdrawls and deposits. But the main reason I don't like Coinbase is the time they take to confirm your deposit made in fiat currency. Until your deposit gets in their exchange (my last deposit before I stop to use Coinbase took 4 days.), the price have changed several times. Try using a hardware wallet (ledger) or even Electrum for Windows, they are so much better if you are just sending coins.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Bitcoin Growth Bot, Lending Platform 2.0 [DECEMBER TOKEN SALE] on: November 22, 2017, 04:03:00 PM
33% allocated to distribution to incentivize participation in the ecosystem. This is an excessive generosity

I read that as various partners adopting and using Nucleus thus creating more demand and therefore value of the coin. Very smart

Good for all those involved
I think the bonus is too much. But that strategy is very smart. If you do that, there will be a lot of participants
I don't think the bonus it's too much. Seriously I have seen some ICOs offering more than 100% of bonus at the presale. I am more worried with the lack of information this project has. What will you do for guarantee the safety of the bot? It makes more sense to sell the bot than preparing a whole ICO process to do such a thing like this. I am sorry for my sincerity, but this looks like one more way to raise a lot of funds without a working product. There are no news here.
220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best online payment method for Bitcoin that cannot be charged back? on: November 22, 2017, 03:56:19 PM
The best way to buy or sell bitcoins is to use cash or bank transfer if you don't want to have this kind of trouble (chargeback). Localbitcoins is the way I use when I want to sell some bitcoins and people can send payments directly to my bank account. Also you can find there payments such as paypal, neteller, skrill payza, etc. But the prices for those last methods are very expensive, usually 10%-20% above from the original price of the bitcoin and I have seen some people taking the risk. Here in the forum you can find some trusteable people who can escrow for you. Just be careful.
