201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are selling now, what are you keeping for later and which are you selling on: March 01, 2024, 05:12:39 PM
In this bull season I have sold all my meme coins that I had bought from the end of 2023. I have sold PEPE, BONK and DOGE and I have made a profit of around 70%. I still hold some potential coins such as in the DeFi and AI sectors. I plan to buy some new coins from the sale of my meme coins. I think the altcoin bull season has a long way to go. Usually it will take about 3-5 months from now. I plan to buy Bitcoin when I no longer have interest in altcoins in the next few months.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: February 29, 2024, 06:15:11 PM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?

I will sell my assets when the price is pumped. When my assets have a return of up to 100% then I will sell them. I will not hold many altcoins because I believe that once an altcoin has been pumped it will likely be difficult to pump again. It will probably take the next 1 to 2 years for it to pump again. I'll sell it and go back to looking for new altcoins that haven't pumped yet.

I saw you posted in May 2023. If you had several altcoins like SEI, WLD, and TON at that time maybe by now you would have made a 1000% return.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you in your holdings? on: February 29, 2024, 06:06:29 PM

I'd like to know your own situation too. For both short and long terms, how confident are you in the cryptos you hold right now?

I am a long term holder. Your question reminds me of a story when at that time I did a lot of asset diversification. I bought a lot of meme coins and metaverse projects. It took a huge toll on me and to be honest I was completely devastated at that point. But for now I have learned from experience and I will only invest in Bitcoin and real use case projects. I currently have several projects with AI narratives and I really believe in their future potential.

I give my asset holdings a 9/10.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your expectations on ICE Network in the future? on: February 29, 2024, 05:59:05 PM

It's a good choice if you can hold up your investment for almost the end of this year or maybe a half year more. But if you're looking for short term profits it can be a very good option if you're skills are upto the mark and you know how to take the profits out but due to its volatility it's very risky too.

ICE Network is a very risky project. I saw news about them spread a lot in crypto groups and several news media. They succeeded in attracting investor interest with the offers they provided. But I agree with what you said. I think Ice network is not suitable if you are a long-term holder. These projects are very volatile and to be honest I haven't seen any fundamentals or real use cases for them. Is this project the same as Pi Network??
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Does it feel to be Balls Deep in altcoin, when only bitcoin is rising? on: February 29, 2024, 05:51:49 PM

So, I have a simple question 🙋.
How do you feel being balls deep in altcoin investment, when bitcoin alone is rising?
Do you feel like selling your alts and fomoing into bitcoin, or do you just hold, patiently waiting, believing that alt time to rise will come?

Lets discuss...

I have a little Bitcoin and some altcoins. I don't like diversification into many altcoins. So currently I only hold about 5 altcoin projects. Most of them are projects with an AI narrative. I am sure that these projects will be successful in the future. I still keep some of it in Bitcoin because I believe that Bitcoin is the safest asset. So I just invest in altcoins and am ready for the risk. In my opinion, there is no need to sell your altcoins if you are still experiencing losses. But if you have made a profit and want to secure your assets then you can try converting them to Bitcoin.

206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thoughts on the latest news about TON on: February 29, 2024, 05:44:28 PM
The exact numbers of target audience coverage and the ratio of their % to rewards are not yet known. Of course, a bunch of fake channels with a bot farm will appear. I think TON developers should take this factor into account. For myself, I see an excellent opportunity to invest in TON now (albeit belatedly), because I think it can easily give x10 within a year.

You are absolutely right. I am currently a TON holder because I believe Telegram has a connection with TON. To be honest, I was shocked by this news because I didn't understand TON in such detail. But for now TON is showing positive results. But I think it's the projects inside that are more interesting. I think they will have great potential in the future.

208  Local / Topik Lainnya / Re: Penghasilan tambahan on: February 21, 2024, 04:32:14 PM

209  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [diskusi] Bagaimana Cara Mengatur Waktumu di Forum? on: February 21, 2024, 04:16:03 PM

210  Economy / Economics / Re: Not easy times in the world but how the goverment will improve? on: February 20, 2024, 10:54:11 AM
I hoped you would write more on why you’re not a fan of green renewable energy and how exactly it relates to governments printing more money into the economy or fighting Inflation.
You noted yourself that we’ve got to solve problems with new (and better) methods. Be more energy efficient, hence the renewable energy sources being touted all over today.
Change is difficult to accept hence the slow adaptation of these renewable energy sources.

I have a conspiracy theory that says that one of the reasons why renewable energy is difficult to accept and develops so slowly, is because if renewable energy were widely adopted it would be very detrimental to oil refineries and oil companies in the world. All oil owners in the world do not want renewable energy to replace oil.

Well, it's just a conspiracy theory but I find it very interesting and more plausible than the conspiracy theory about area 51. Grin

But about the Government printing money to solve problems I think that is very bad and I see that it is not a solution but just a way for the government so that they can continue to be in power. Printing a lot of money will have an inflationary impact. People will complain about rising prices of goods but government employees can easily increase their salaries with tax money.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good or bad idea saving every penny on crypto stable coins on: February 20, 2024, 10:45:34 AM
Please what do you think? Will I end up losing my funds one day if I do so?
To me I feel it's good way to save.

Please what's your opinion on this?

It's no different from saving at the bank. USDT is pegged to the US dollar. By the way are you American? If not then I can recommend you save money in USDT or dollar balance. Other countries' currencies are weak against the dollar. If you are Indonesian with rupiah, or Nigerian with naira or Indian with rupees then I suggest you to save in USDT. That's much better because the exchange rate of other countries' currencies continues to decrease in value every year.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: My top 3 picks for up coming crash on: February 20, 2024, 10:35:42 AM
Everything what's not traded in exchangers are dangerous assets to hold.

Im expecting the crash will start in few months.

This is something I have also thought about. It is true that assets that are not traded on exchanges are not susceptible to price dumping. But the problem is that I think assets like real estate, luxury collections and paintings are already unreasonably priced. The prices of these goods have ballooned from the price they should be getting. This reminds me of the 2008 crisis where real estate prices in America crashed due to the real estate balloon that had burst.

Many works of art and luxury items become expensive because the owners make them expensive. To be honest, I don't like works of art that sell for billions of dollars. I know there is a long history and a lot of memory in works of art that are hundreds of years old but what about works of art like a piece of banana that was bought for millions of dollars?

Banana Taped to Wall

I think we will indeed see some crashes in the next few months, or maybe in the next few years.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommendation for a good alt to invest in on: February 19, 2024, 05:10:55 AM

TIA is a good project and seems there's a potential to hold for a long term.
Aside from TIA I also have these.
  • Arbitrum
  • Chainlink

Why not give a large allocation on Bitcoin to less worry?

I think OP is looking for a project that can provide up to 10x returns. And Bitcoin can no longer provide returns as high as new altcoin projects. Bitcoin is much safer and there is no need to worry about our assets, but if we can accept the risk then investing in altcoins can be more profitable. Even if you are very confident, you can invest in new projects as the OP said.

Currently I don't know which projects will have high potential because some projects like Arb and Chainlink are already very high. Many say SUI, SEI and OP are also very good but currently most projects are already in their ATH phase so I think it will be very difficult to find a gem like TIA.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Three gems in my view on: February 19, 2024, 05:04:11 AM
Sui, Arbitrum, optimism I guess you guys are fimilar with there 3 altcoins, which are less then 1year old, launched in 2023. When i track their performance i feel wonder cause they are owning layer-two blockchain and their growth speed is very higher then others good Altcoins. I found these altcoins Valuable for holding. What is your opinion about these altcoins? Are you holding any of these or have any plan to buy?

Based on data from CMC, I see that the three projects already have high trading volumes and their prices are also very high compared to the initial launch stage. I actually want to invest in those three coins but currently on February 19, 2024, the prices of those three tokens are already very high and have reached their ATH phase. This means that if early stage token holders sell their tokens there will be market pressure which could cause the price to fall again. Unless they are able to attract more investors to join their community. Currently I am watching the development of these three coins and they have been added to my watchlist.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your view and your opinion about Ethereum? on: February 19, 2024, 04:28:05 AM

What is your view and your opinion about Ethereum? You can share if you want.

I can say that Ethereum is one of the best altcoins at the moment, and the best if you look at the CMC ranking. But as many people here have said, Ethereum has scalability problems and very high transaction fees. I once failed to buy some pre-sales from a project because they only accepted ethereum payments using the ethereum network and I noticed it could cost up to $15 to make a transaction from my wallet to the project wallet and buy their tokens.

But the reason I still choose to invest in ethereum at this time is because I am waiting for ethereum ETH approval and I think it will help increase the price of ethereum and could hit their ath again.
216  Local / Topik Lainnya / Re: Penghasilan tambahan on: February 18, 2024, 11:58:34 PM

217  Local / Topik Lainnya / Re: edukasi sexs untuk anak usia dini on: February 18, 2024, 11:51:30 PM

218  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we contribute accross local boards? on: February 17, 2024, 09:05:30 AM
Indian local board allows English which I can speak, this I don't think justifies me to be able to join conversations in that local board, I apply that rule to all other local boards.

Even though there are some local boards that are accustomed to using English such as the Indian board and the Nigerian board, I think there are still differences in how English is mixed with their culture. It's not the same as you speaking English on a global board. So it's best not to join other local boards if you don't master their language well.

Quote
but I personally feel you need to have at least an average understanding of the happenings in that country to really follow discussions with the locals there.

This is also an important point. Users in local forums are like family. They have such a bond because they come from the same country. They can discuss topics that can be very relevant to them. Maybe we have much better knowledge than them, but when discussing topics in general, it's best not to join other local boards.

Except for special matters such as trade, technical issues or, you are really interested in the culture of their country. Like local Indian boards accept English and you also know the issues in their country and are interested in their culture, then I think it is not a problem because in the end you will become a part of them.  Grin

220  Local / Ekonomi, Politik, dan Budaya / Re: mengapa banyak kaum muda enggan berhasa daerah? on: February 17, 2024, 07:28:44 AM
