201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you move to a tax haven to protect your crypto trillions? on: February 25, 2018, 06:41:08 PM
It will depend on how bad the tax rates are and if I feel am losing most of my money to these tax expenses then I certainly would not think twice about relocating to a different place to protect my crypto trillions and I know this won't be a cheap step to take as starting a new life is expensive as far as I know.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: February 22, 2018, 01:59:46 PM
I have come to accept that when market prices for cryptocurrencies are dropping people will make money that includes the opposite when prices soar but in this case the best time to invest in ICOs is when prices of coins are high and i think cryptocurrencies are well priced and its certainly a good time.
203  Economy / Speculation / Re: An Unknown Individual Bought 96,000 Bitcoins When Price Was Slump on: February 21, 2018, 09:02:23 AM
Meanwhile, Bitcoin attracted the attention of many people even during the 65 percent fall in price.
-snip-
Shocking but true and it seems to me that what bitcoin needs to make history now is influence marketers who can and will attract people to the new digital economy which i see to be the best move at the moment.
It so strange to me that a lot of people don't know even one of the most useful rule for every investor: Buy Low, Sell High. By the other side - while they don't know about it or don't understand it - we can earn money.
This should be a basic investment strategy that we all need to know by now if we in it for the money Wink

204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic sellers are once again hating themselves on: February 18, 2018, 07:49:44 PM
The crypto market as proven to people several times that the market always recovers but people always want to out smart themselves thinking the market wont recover and choose to panic selll to get out while they can but it all ends up with Panic sellers hating themselves

Not themselves. Some of them hate “the market”. A friend of mine is like that: he used to buy when there was a bubble out of MOFO and to sell when the first dip came, out of panic. Now he doesn’t buy any more, he just wastes all his money, as he thinks “the market” is corrupt.
lol this is learning the hard way wouldnt want to have such an experience:P
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Chinese New Year Affect the Market?! on: February 18, 2018, 07:22:04 PM
Just like the trend that usually comes with christmas, people usually spend/exchange their coins for fiat to be able to buy gifts for thier friends and family, and for us the Chinese New Year isnt any different but because of the introduction of regulations this time around the market has seen an opposite reaction which has caused prices to stablize and soar at the same time.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Where Will The Digital Economy Take Us? on: February 18, 2018, 06:15:58 PM
What will happen with Blockchain technology in the next 50 years?
This is a very innovative technology not even sure who engineered it as we only acknowledge the likes of Satoshi, Vitalik etc but as far as i know the Blockchain technology will be with for a very long time as it removes a lot of irregularities in our current system thanks to its transparent nature...we should expect very industry to have a piece of this tech.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Today's news: Chinese gov restricts Crypto again... on: February 18, 2018, 05:40:38 PM
With so many people spreading this kind of news I think we are just doing more harm than good and if countries like south korea that alomost put the ban hammer on cryptocurrency trading uturned and made it clear that they wanted transparency then the same could happen to china which could help the crypto market grow massively.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets for altcoins on: February 18, 2018, 05:06:57 PM
What wallets should i use for altcoins? Bought some LTC not sure what's better
For most ethereum tokens myetherwallet is good enough but with security now becoming a priority a hardware wallet should be used to protect our coins and for other alts the official altcoin website should give links to best wallets to be used.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wow - fees too high! on: February 18, 2018, 04:32:49 PM
you cannot compare two different network fees with each other , each coin have different speciality Bitcoin is king and Bitcoin cash is branch of Bitcoin itself. Current rate of transfer bitcoins from one wallet to another wallet is less than 11 sat per byte. As per calculation Fees is only 1% per 100$ which is very less seems
i agree different coins have different uses and user base and as far as I know what also forces these fees to raise is increased demand for the mining services which results in miners priotising transactions with high fees and leaving a backlog of low TX fees but currently bitcoin fees are not as high as thet were a few months back.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: February 18, 2018, 04:15:33 PM
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
As far as I know there will come a time when we do not need any more of these projects as they would have done thier jobe of disrupting any inefficient systems that we have but since crypto is now just starting to be accepted we still have a long way to go.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum transaction speeds? on: February 17, 2018, 12:28:16 PM
Haven't done an Eth transfer in awhile, keep reading about congestion and slow speeds.
I'm looking at buying an ICO which is close to it's cap, how long are Eth transactions taking these days?

Over a day and I've probably missed out.

Cheers!
I haven’t experienced any of these congestion’s like it was with the crypto kitties congestion and as far as I know confirmation times have very much improved and as acceptable speeds and is far much better than what we get from bitcoin.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin finally hit 20K on: February 16, 2018, 01:16:32 PM
After a long wait Bitcoin is rising up in charts.Do you think Bitcoin will finally hit 20K this month if its price increase rapidly? Roll Eyes
Recovery to $20k is certainly on the cards but unfortunately not this month and I have noticed that cryptos are steadily rising unlike the volatile nature of bitcoin we were exposed to...if prices continue with this we might get more people believing in crypto and in return this could bring demand for cryptos.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not most popular in the US. Russia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, on: February 15, 2018, 08:40:44 PM
and Canada have more people searching Google for 'Bitcoin.'  http://www.google.com/trends?q=bitcoin

How easy is it to buy Bitcoin in these countries?
If you ask me Google trends alone is not enough to give us this information on who, which or what countries are using bitcoin and FYI if certain countries don't show up on these trends then people know how and where to find the crypto info they need without relying on a search engine like Google.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: February 14, 2018, 02:32:21 PM
Bitcoin was not developed to target a specific country in this case China, bitcoin is for the entire world to use and enjoy the financial freedom its suppose to bring to its users and just as they say there is strength in numbers bitcoin can not survive on one countries contribution, we all play a part in bringing bitcoin and other cryptos to where they are today.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: February 14, 2018, 07:12:53 AM
Bounties are far much better than airdrops  because you know how many people have participated and how much Hyper the project is receiving unlike airdrops which always do not reflect how genuine a project despite requiring less effort to get the tokens, and generally airdrops pay less.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM WILL WORTH $10000 on: February 10, 2018, 03:54:47 PM
Not sure about the time frame but it will happen one day but not just this year because eth is too stable am even surprised that bitcoin cash has a better price than ethereum inspite being around for a longer time in the crypto business.
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Have Any Fear Bitcoin Might Crash Someday. on: February 10, 2018, 01:07:12 PM
I have no fear whatsoever because if this crash was on the cards this would have happened in its early days of orientation and since it has managed to stay this long I this this crash will not be happening as support to keep it very much alive is there.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the top/successful Bounty Manager here at BCT on: February 10, 2018, 11:16:52 AM
I am intrigue to know who are the Cream of the crop Bounty Manager here at BCT.

It depends on which side you stand for...are you on the projects side or the bounty hunters side? For both bounty and projects benefit I see Yahoo to be among the best as bounty is limited to a number of participates which protects project from dumpers and he pushes for fast token payments but I do believe there other great managers out there don't want to sound bias here
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Only 9300 unconfirmed transactions today on: February 09, 2018, 09:19:37 PM
It's now down to 7k transactions. I conclude that during important seasons, holidays there are too many who are transacting with bitcoin and when it increases in number fees are also included. I did a transaction yesterday in the highest priority and I only paid almost $2 = 0.0002 BTC unlike during that season 0.002 BTC isn't even enough.
Totally agree and it is a well know fact that around the festive season people do need liquid funds to put a smile on their loved ones through gift sharing and it looks like the last holiday which we are just getting over had a lot of transactions and its just starting to come down as crypto users have started to get hold of more coins for the purpose of hodling, fingers crossed unconfirmed transactions to further go down.
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: $6200 I'm buying on: February 07, 2018, 01:48:58 PM
6200 was defintely a good call hope you got a good number of coins but knowing how cryptos perform this should have been considered a low risk investment because what happens is even if a long time hodler dumps their coins a new one will emerge...which means the cylcle of demand is restored. Now we aiming to see 10000 dollars by the end of the week.
