The GTX 570 is almost 7 years old. You shouldn't use it at all unless you have 100% free electricity. It's useless.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1060 vs 1070 mining rig on: June 13, 2017, 02:47:17 PM
don't buy cheap card that hash low 1060 is not good now, buy expensive oen that have higher density and hashrate because the profit is very high roi is fast

Get 6x 1080 Ti for best density and no need for extra components. That's what I ordered for six rigs.

how do you power that with dual psu or single 1500watt? is that enough?
1500W would probably be fine if you under volt them but I don't really care about power so I'll be overclocking them and use a separate 2400W server PSU (2400W is way too much but they're not that expensive anyway).

205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: June 13, 2017, 05:04:47 AM
Now when auto exchange is enabled, do they cost the higher txfee as well for ETH auto exchange or is the higher txfee only for ETH withdrawals?
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need help with my first Mining Rig on: June 12, 2017, 08:22:19 AM
are they EHT hash rate?yesterday I tried 1060 and get 27Mh/s.
They are for skein.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Recommandations for NVIDIA rigs ? on: June 12, 2017, 07:24:49 AM
I have 6x Sapphire RX 570 Pulse Mini (ITX) and one of the card's fan stopped working within a week. I was probably just unlucky though.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how and where you change your altcoins to USD or EUR on: June 12, 2017, 07:08:21 AM
I use Coinbase. 1.5% conversion fee to EUR and the €0.15 fee for withdrawal.

Is there somewhere I can calculate current profits when mining Bitcore? My math sucks and I would be unable to calculate it myself unfortunately. Like dyslexia but for math almost.

Edit: Never mind, I figured it out. Sorry.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1060 For Newbie on: June 11, 2017, 02:46:26 PM
Thanks, but is better and safer with nicehash Wink
Easier maybe, but not better, safer or more profitable.

For example, if you don't want to trade yourself, just enable auto exchange when mining at miningpoolhub and set it to automatically send BTC to your wallet. You get paid more than with Nicehash and you get paid more often.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: June 11, 2017, 12:25:10 PM
I know it's not optimal, but I'd like to know for reference: Have anyone tried dual mining ETH+SIA with a 1080 ti? If so, what's the hash rate for it? If you know, please also report any OC.

Thanks
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080 Ti - Whattomine Alternatives on: June 09, 2017, 04:03:58 PM
I thought I'd need a bridge to connect the second GPU. I have two PCI-E slots on the mobo. However, I plugged the second GPU in and received a black screen almost immediately after logging in to Windows.
The bridge does exactly nothing for mining.

That one is the one you should use.

Edit: Don't know why you have $ before your ETH address though. I don't.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum GPU mining with multiple cards (need dummy plug?) on: June 08, 2017, 07:00:33 PM
You only need a dummy plug if you use Windows, at least for AMD.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: June 07, 2017, 04:07:17 AM
It seems that two out of my three rigs that currently use SimpleMining went down for about 40 minutes tonight, or at least stopped mining. One of the two shows to have been restarted for some reason, while the other doesn't. The third has been running for almost a week without a restart.

Nanopool reports two of the three to have stopped sending shares.

What's the easiest way to access the logs so I can see what really happened?

Thanks
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can't get 6 GPUs working, only 5. Advise please... on: June 06, 2017, 07:57:49 PM
It is your PSU! not enough juice to take the spike of 6 at once

my 8 XFX RX480m 8GB uses 2.5KW power if I dual mine. If you have 1200W also, I suggest using a paper clip and power 3 from that PSU and 3+MB from the 1500. If it still trips the PSUs then you know its not that.
2500W sounds like a lot for 8 480's. My 6x Sapphire RX 570 Pulse Mini and the whole system draw 931W from the wall when dual mining with no under volting.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My pet peeve in gpu mining care to guess? on: June 06, 2017, 07:26:27 PM
Asus Prime Z270P -  Less than 30 minutes of work had this board working with 6x RX580 as well as 6x 1070s using PimP, Simplemining, and EthOS.
I can confirm this. While I've only done five rigs with 6x RX 570's and now waiting for re-stock of AMD cards, and also waiting for 36x GTX 1080 Ti that will arrive next week, it's extremely easy to set up (as long as you know what to do at least) with no issues whatsoever in SimpleMining OS.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: June 06, 2017, 06:59:41 PM
It sounds like there is no need to modify the straps in SMOS. That is really cool if that is the case.
That is not the case.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Whats the lifespan of a GPU? on: June 05, 2017, 11:53:43 PM
Avg lifespan if I were to guess would probably be about what the manufacturers warranty gives you - they aren't dummies Wink
There are also laws in some places of the world with a lower limit (one year), like Europe.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mix riser power from different PSU's? on: June 05, 2017, 09:38:00 PM
2400w is way more than enough power for 6 cards. You could get away with half of that.

Personally, I use a 1200w server PSU for the cards + risers. Then I use a 300-500w psu (whatever is cheapest) to power the board and SSD.

Also, in terms of the picture above, I have definitely done that before and have had no issues with it.

Well it might not be enough for 6x 1080 Ti cards.
