201  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Exodus desktop adaptability on: June 09, 2017, 05:02:49 AM
You need to have assets (coins sent to it first!) to be able to see the price of how much they are worth.
1. Who am I actually selling to when I sell say BTC for ETH using Exodus. Am I selling to developers of Exodus?
2. When I double click and open the program, does it instantaneously know the current live prices? is it that quick?
202  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Downloaded Exodus desktop wallet but don't see updates coin prices, why? on: June 08, 2017, 02:10:28 PM
Downloaded Exodus desktop wallet but don't see any of the current prices, I see zero's for all listed coins.
Also I double clicked it Exodus icon on my desktop and it opened up, why didn't it ask me to set up a password for it?
I haven't sent money to it yet as I would like to set up a password to run with it before I do that.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 08, 2017, 03:14:46 AM
Poloniex withdrawals are working again. Now it will take a lot longer to get my XMR out. Oh well, one could have worse problems.
How long were they down? How frequently do they do this?
204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchange to join? on: June 08, 2017, 03:10:15 AM
For me I recommend bittrex and poloniex these exchange I usually trade an altcoins. So far with the deposits and withdrawals is fast transaction. I feel safe and secure throughout trading session.
Have they asked you for ID yet?
205  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Warning !!! about coinbase web wallet.. on: June 08, 2017, 03:05:52 AM
...use Electrum or other desktop wallets ...Of course, you pay for your own fees.
For anyone who doesn't like paying for their own transaction fees, then deal with all those strings attached.
...I use both. Coinbase for when I'm skimping on fees and Electrum for the main wallet.
What are the fees like when you use your own desktop wallet and
how long does it take to download the whole blockchain with setup of Electrum or desktop wallets?
206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Poloniex on: June 07, 2017, 10:17:46 PM
Except, their coin manipulation is the highest I've seen....I'm a daily trader at poloniex,...but when they start manipulating things, you will be surprised how they've control over everything you wish to do.

To make it more simple, remember the lags and still the coin sells ? They do it on purpose.
The lags are evident when comparing to which other site? That's how they make their money I suppose? What strategy should one implement to mitigate the lags if one is a day trader?
207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchange to join? on: June 07, 2017, 10:10:30 PM
Gotta say that any exchange that doesn't require verification nor uses it as an excuse to freeze accounts will win my membership any day. So of course Poloniex seems to be the obvious choice for most if only for this one very important requirement, or lack of, rather.
Who owns Poloniex? Is it an incorporated entity within US? Backers? 100% legit operation?
Any current delays with regards to withdrawals and if it's US why aren't they obliged to meet the KYC requirements?
208  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: June 07, 2017, 10:02:28 PM
Ripple that you think has a market cap of $11 billion, has in reality a market cap of $29 billion....
$29 billion based on which source?
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: June 04, 2017, 08:19:19 PM
... due to hard fork risks by Jihan, Ver and Co.And of course traders will take profits then.
Why are the fork risks required by those entities? What if they didn't require it, what would happen?
210  Economy / Speculation / Why the need to chain split bitcoin? on: June 04, 2017, 08:08:05 PM
No one knows what will happen, but to be on the safe side, you just need to hold your coins offline, in case a chain split becomes reality.

Why the need to chain split it?
How does holding offline protect value versus online with blockchain.info for instance?

211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchange to join? on: May 16, 2017, 05:41:53 AM
Poloniex basically killed the competition, Its the best and I wouldn't use any other exchange beside it. You don't need to verify any information's as long as you don't bypass a daily withdrawal limit of 2000$. Its mostly a BTC/Alts exchange so If you are looking for buy bitcoins using fiat, you may want to search for another exchange.
Do they shut down the account and keep your coins if you don't send ID?

213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Best alt-coin day trading sites or platforms for day traders? on: May 16, 2017, 05:12:06 AM
Which sites do you recommend, and why, for day trading major alt-coins.
Fast, efficient sites, with no KYC requirements and outside USA preferred.

Your experience, views, on advantages of using say something like poloniex over an exchanger for day trading?

Thanks.

216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sports Gambling sites? on: January 14, 2017, 11:03:39 AM
I recommend nitrogensport.eu I really like their service the deposits and withdrawals are so fast.
Do they payout bigger wins on sports without complaining?
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sports Gambling sites? on: January 14, 2017, 08:16:52 AM
... sportsbets.io ...is ...a scam agency
-They've had issues proving legitimacy of their lotteries in the past.
(even though I often bet there)
And how about when it comes to getting paid when you win large sport bets (1k plus); has
there been instances where Sports.io haven't paid large sports bet winners?
Anyone come across that? Heard anything?
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Does sports.io cause delays when you want to withdraw large wins? on: January 14, 2017, 07:51:42 AM
I am doing sports gambling on sportsbet.io and they are really a great platform to provide sports gambling. I have not faced any issue from them and the payout is also working better without any delay and issue.
What are they like when you want to withdraw large amounts (over $1000)?
Do they make you jump through hoops (KYC)?
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Sports Gambling sites? on: January 14, 2017, 07:47:43 AM
