201  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Arbitao is 100% a SCAM !!! on: July 08, 2018, 12:27:26 AM
With a 100% certainty of Arbitao been a scam I had no time to go through their whitepaper but just wanted to ask if this might have been caused by writer's claiming to be experts in whitepaper drafting???
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Airdrop][Bounty] Brickblock - $1.2+ million worth of BBK to be distributed on: July 07, 2018, 11:52:23 PM
Big thanks to everyone that participated. All bounties have been paid out. Please check the airdrop app and fill out your profile completely, if you have not yet done so. BBK tokens will be sent within the next 3 weeks.

Very disappointed with how you guys have managed this bounty....am starting to wonder how you will mange the actual project if you can mange a small scale operation as a bounty/airdrop

First you have failed to deliver full payments as the bounty group https://t.me/Brickblock_Airdrop will show proof of what am talking aboit as people are totally dissatisfied with their rewards which do not reconcile with what was worked for, and here you have a message which is deceiving the community so unprofessional!!!!

203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: July 02, 2018, 07:32:21 AM
I will start with one to begin the discussion. If you are putting huge amounts at stake and want to keep identity private, online gamblign comes as a boon.
Afaik this is not the best reason as some gambling companies will require some form of verification when you want to withdraw a huge amount of money from your account.

Other reasons to gamble online:
-You have the convinence of gambling at any time of the day.
-Gambling online has less distractions as compared to brick and mortar gambling
-Different incentives and bonuses are available when gambling online
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 28, 2018, 10:23:35 PM
I think Argentina will go far now Messi is back on track for scoring goals.
I think Maradona suffered a health scare last match with him being pulled out on a stretcher after they won.

Could be because of this Roll Eyes

Lol he should know better but that was an odd way of the legend celebrating the Messi goal

Too many surprises this World Cup! Even saw a post someone putting a good amount of money for Croatia as the winner @x35  Grin I'll be dropping my prediction here so incase if the turns out to be true, I can have myself some giggles. The winner of the World-Cup would be either Brazil or Spain. Argentina has no chance winning the next match.
I wouldn't count on these teams as there is so much inconsistency which is the reason why we saw the defending champions get knocked out but on the other hand....am liking how Belgium, Mexico, Croatia and last worldcup runner ups are playing it could be worth throwing in a few wagers, just might have the last laugh knowing the competition is unpredictable
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: June 28, 2018, 05:51:34 AM
How can the government discover I own BTC, let's say I'm from Venezuela where crypto is banned, what they can do to discover and arrest me?
The process of tracking bitcoins would require a lot of resources to establish a money trail....

First off if a bitcoin address is used several times its almost certain that anybody can track you that's why tumblers and a new bitcoin address should be used to avoid such from happening.

And as far as I know no government is willing to dedicate so much resources towards this cause.

206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you panic and start selling coins? on: June 27, 2018, 11:00:14 AM
I think we need to move away from the buy, hodl and sell strategy as I see it to be the reason crypto prices keep dipping

Many might argue about this but if you consider the early buyers that can afford to sell at whichever price  now because there is no loss for them as current price is way over the initial price and that's why I suggest a no hodl strategy but embrace the everyday use to try and stire up demand.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy low and sell high is very tough on: June 26, 2018, 01:24:04 PM
When you ask someone for advise they always say buy low and sell high but this is very tough.

What is your strategy for buying low and selling high?

Do you agree with buy low and sell high is very tough?
I think this buy low sell high works best when everyone recognises the market dipping in prices

And once the buying spree is opened it implies that demand is restored and prices jump up again which opens the opportunity to sell and take out your profit but I fear if everybody is doing this we might see very huge drops as this mimicks coin dumps.
208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC: where is the market going on: June 26, 2018, 01:06:38 PM
Great charts you have op but why aren't there any forecasts of a possible price rise from these charts because it makes no sense for a continuous drop as market has to respond positively after a dip ; )

Bitcoin market is not going anywhere but the prices of Bitcoin is kept decreasing and this make people panic about the market. Of course, it is completely common in the crypto market the price variation is very huge and volatile is also very huge. Now Bitcoin price is completely in a downtrend and of course, there is a day for Bitcoin to increase it's price even higher.
The downward trend is worrying which why we need to move away from the old strategies of hodling and try to use bitcoin on an everyday basis to try to stimulate the market to ignite demand
209  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info is moving domain. on: June 26, 2018, 12:02:28 PM
I think its a good move as new users will see the blockchain.com domain more legit and easier to type than the dot info one which is more easier to remember for long time users.

But to avoid any confusion hope the team keeps both domains alive to avoid giving room to phishing attempts.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy now altcoins ? on: June 26, 2018, 08:07:34 AM
is this the right moment for pick altcoins with BTC or what do you think will be the lowest price in this summer ? wait more =?
It is the right time but lets not forget that the value of alts will not go up without making some investment in btc....

as bitcoin has some direct influence on the pricing of altcoins and the only way to grow both is by having to invest in the major crypto if we are to see some high prices again.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to stop using Bitcoin as a form of investment and start using it as payment on: June 25, 2018, 10:48:00 PM
From what OP said its a practical solution of what we can achieve from been United and In my opinion I too think the best way to see bitcoin grow in value is more everyday use and less long term investments as this idea of not using btc for everyday usage is giving away the advantage crypto had,  forget about Visas upper hand of processing a lot more transactions than btc and lets wait for the lightning network to be fully operational and be able to compete once this is rolled out....for know we need to remind ourselves why btc came to life in the first place!!
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why the market is like this? - Should i quit crypto for good! on: June 25, 2018, 08:56:02 PM
The price movement of cryptos right now really gives me these thoughts too but knowing this is the technology of tomorrow

I think its all a matter of some faith in the technology as we wait for the market to recover.

But am still worried about crypto as its still controlled by whales which isn't any different from having some regulation which I think we need as volatility could be better controlled than what we keep seeing.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 25, 2018, 04:42:19 PM
Egypt vs Saudi
Uruguya vs Russia
Portugal vs Iran
Spain vs Morocco

Looks easy enough for tomorrows parlay Wink
Really liked this parlay as well but whatever is happening with Egypt cost this one has they lost 2 goals to 1 leabving the team with no win in the group, and looking at the way the Uruguayans played am starting to think this team is a contender to win the competition as they continue to show the quality they hold.

214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people don’t believe in crypto? on: June 21, 2018, 07:00:33 AM
Hey guys, why do you think people don’t believe in crypto? The potential of crypto is great. Moreover crypto is the currency of the future! Do you agree?
Its not that the don't believe its Just like every comedians rule book, leave the stage wfhile everybody is laughing and having a good time

So people pull out when the ly have made some money then those that have not used it before and don't believe in crypto are likely to be thinking using crypto is breaking the law
215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering ? on: June 20, 2018, 05:57:53 PM
Do you think bitcoin is going to reach june rates soon ?
The days of big jumps are over, and i think the prices of bitcoin we use to see back then were inflated figures characterised by high volatility but this seems to have come to an end as bitcoin is now growing more naturally than the manipulative nature we saw it grow from but recovering back to its high price wont be happening any time from now....lets see how the next 6 months unfolds
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 20, 2018, 11:40:33 AM
I hope Spain, Uruguay and Portugal will have an easy game today.

A parlay with three games in it will be good for today. Spain, Uruguay and Portugal to win their respective matches. It will give us an odds, around @ 2.56, which is not bad, I guess!
This worldcup is proving difficult to predict but with teams like Portugal and Spain dropping points in their opening games, they can not afford to drop more points, knowing wins today give them a chance to qualify but I wouldn't go for the parlay here but rather single wagers
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trusted Cryptocurrency Wallet LINKS on: June 20, 2018, 10:34:27 AM
SINCE I SEE many of users getting scammed, due to phishing sites

Good work OP and just in case others do not bookmarks this thread they could use Google search by adding bitcointalk to the search to get a clean result with legit links, this method as worked well for me and I know others could benefit from it to....

How to use, for example. "ABCD coin" you simply Google search "ABCD coin bitcointalk" and results will show announcement thread and other threads and if a scam thread appears you could visit the thread to know the latest happenings.
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin remain dominant on: June 20, 2018, 07:04:42 AM
As things stand bitcoin is still the alpha male that's pretty much controlling how other crypto coins perform

Unless a challenger comes forth,  bitcoin will remain the dorminant one and only true decentralized non altcoin still existing today....unless we also want to go back to the centralized way of doing things a new coin will take over.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 19, 2018, 02:16:47 PM
I would be very surprised if not one of the biggest favorites took home the trophy. I think Spain, Brazil, Germany, or maybe France and Belgium have the desired firepower to bring the title home

Portugal!
Portugal only has some individual brilliance which wouldn't be enough to win the game as compared to teams such as Belgium, Germany, Spain and Brazil.... and with the composure Japan showed this afternoon I think the could be contenders to go far in this competition, just hope we don't see more surprise results.
220  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Twitch now accept crypto! (AMAZON platform) on: June 18, 2018, 02:18:57 PM

Twitch bougth from AMAZON for $970 millions in 2014.

Maybe the time when we can buy with crypto from Amazon its coming.
This changes the meaning if you say Twitch was bought from Amazon...as this means its in new hands and has no ties with Amazon.

But if the message was suppose to read twitch bought by Amazon is using crytpo then this is good news for us ad there is a possibility of crypto coming to amazon where is asa larger user base...
