201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is exchange based tokens worth for hold? on: August 26, 2023, 12:48:40 PM
For now, many new Altcoins are creating their own exchanges, of course that is aimed at attracting more investors and more people using them, but before putting any money into it, it's best to first look at the liquidity of the associated token.
There are many problems with new exchange tokens unable to develop their own projects, therefore, exchange-based tokens do not guarantee good potential in the future
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to teach older people about bitcoin technology? on: August 26, 2023, 07:01:48 AM
Bitcoin has captured the center of attention, especially with the younger generations showing keen interest in it. Yet, there are those who believe that teaching older individuals about it might not be a wise investment of time. However, we must ponder: does it carry value? This conversation revolves around the question of whether it's worthwhile to educate older generations about bitcoin.

Bitcoin has freedom for anyone who uses it, the age factor certainly won't affect it.  But providing knowledge to elderly people will certainly have many obstacles, lack of internet-based knowledge is certainly the main factor. For the middle to lower class, the average elderly person doesn't really care about internet-based technology, they prefer the real life around it. One of them by way of real investment or trade
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 26, 2023, 06:42:48 AM
I knew that there's many topic like this in the past that asking advice about loaning for gambling. The intention of this thread is determined what's the actual feeling when you are using a loan money on gambling knowing that there's an interest rate on your borrowed money which means you already lose part of your money before you start gambling.

I saw many high rank users here that asking for loan and directly deposit the loan amount on gambling account. I want to know what's the experience on using loan money. Is there additional pressure on gameplay or just the same using regular money without an interest rate.

Gambling using borrowed money obviously has a 2x risk of loss, besides that it will be burdened with loan interest.  After all, money made from loans won't make you play with focus because you have a strong desire to be able to win the game, but you can't play with full control and expect to win bigger bets so you can cover everything.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Airdrop Scam on Trust Wallet via Links on: August 25, 2023, 09:47:34 AM
This is one of the efforts that must be avoided to avoid airdrops that spread Malware, therefore I am not very interested in airdrops asking to connect Trustwallet wallets, it is better not to participate in such things.  Although there are some who suggest creating a new wallet, I'm still not interested at all
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: August 25, 2023, 09:13:15 AM
It is not recommended to save money for the future on gambling sites, especially if you are an active gambler, it is very likely that the money you have saved will be used for betting, little by little this money will be wasted.
We recommend that the money you have is kept as a future investment on a trusted platform
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can everyone in the world have bitcoin. on: August 24, 2023, 05:58:54 PM

My question is that is it possible for everyone to have bitcoin with the number of limited supply of bitcoin ?

Of course, this is unlikely to happen with the limited amount of supply that has been set.  And another reason, Bitcoin is not a legal currency so most governments still have rules if Bitcoin cannot be used as a legal means of transaction.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: August 24, 2023, 07:47:04 AM
The involvement of star players can certainly affect the club itself, for example in football, it can encourage a team's playing style to become more confident because there is lots of support from people and it can even increase the popularity of the club itself.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: August 24, 2023, 06:42:48 AM

Will you try a trick to win on casino game machines if you were told and it is a 100% working trick to cash out? Will you bet on fixed games if you get the tip early?

Of course, this will have a negative impact even though the tricks given work 100%.  Later, there will be an impact that can be self-defeating.  It's better to play honestly, even though we haven't been able to win big, but we can feel our own satisfaction, the sensation will be more real and tense, of course, it will be entertaining from this tension.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: August 22, 2023, 12:11:05 PM
Tron and EOS.

Tron has been a disappointment ever since. Justin Sun is just hyping his project, and I don't see any developments from the project thus, I really didn't follow this project. If there is anybody here who is a follower, and investor of Tron, can you please share if there is any developments, or upgrades to this project because I might change my mind if there is.

EOS has been on the downfall ever since it's rise in 2017-2018. I've followed this coin, it's developments, upgrades etc. until 2018 where I didn't ever hear anything from the project anymore. I also have a bad experience for this coin since it's price is increasing in 2017, and I really wanted to buy this coin, I wanted to borrow money from somebody, but rejected my loan. Good thing is that the rejection is a good thing because months after that happened, the price of EOS went down very hard. During the last bull run, it didn't even reach it's 2017 highs of ~$21, and it only reach I think $15. Still I will not buy this coin anymore.

It is difficult to understand why the Eos Token has not experienced a significant increase in price to date, even though in 2017 many people admire this Token, there is even speculation that Eos is able to compete with the top Altcoins, This is because it aims to solve the problem of high network fees.  But in fact the developer has not been able to provide the best.

Tron seems to be more stable in price, therefore Tron is not effective as a long term investment, however, I still use Tron frequently and it is one of the alternative Altcoins because it has relatively low transaction fees.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: August 19, 2023, 11:18:07 AM
As for myself i don't have because I will be glad to win as much as possible if the opportunity is presented, but i think the gambling platforms will have that in place but they would have disclose their conditions in their policies or ToS, it is very common that we all have the desire to make win on any amount without limit except if set by the casino, i wouldn't hesitate embracing wining big as such found with winning a jackpot in my gambling experience than setting a limit because everyone needs money if the chance is given to make some or get rich through gambling.
And how exactly do you determine if you've got the chance or the opportunity to win big when you are gambling? Maybe setting a winning limit might not be necessary but it is important to know when you need to stop and exit, especially when you are winning. Never think that if you have won 20% profit on top of your bankroll, you can win 40% if you keep gambling because that will only make you lose what you have already managed to win which isn't a good thing.

A good gambler will always know when they should stop a specific gambling session and exit with what they have in their account, sometimes you will need to back off even if you are losing so that you can at least save a part of your total bankroll so that you can try your luck again and maybe it works.

Maybe that will apply to those who can limit their winnings, but for people who are too greedy when they experience victory, they will continue to bet to produce a bigger win ratio by doubling the bet.  Because of this, most gamblers went bankrupt because many dared to bet bigger than before when they already tasted victory
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: August 19, 2023, 10:50:12 AM
Scam, death both have in altcoins market so why you want investing altcoins?
My opinion buy dip and sold faster on some profits like to be best revenge for all altcoins investors!
What's your skills and opinion?

Investing in Altcoins can be very profitable, but it all depends on the project having good potential for the future, doing some research first is the first step before investing in it.
Some people really like investing in Altcoins, some even really hate it, but Altcoins certainly have an important role on various exchanges, Altcoins will be worthless if they cannot be converted to Bitcoin, and crypto currency will not be in great demand if it only provides one type of coin
212  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: August 19, 2023, 09:47:58 AM
On average, gambling is the most popular among the lower middle class, most of them hope to make money from it by trying their luck.  Rich people are involved in gambling just for entertainment, they prefer investment than gambling
Therefore, gambling addiction is more from the lower middle class than the rich
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: August 18, 2023, 10:11:32 AM
It is difficult to stop gambling for someone who has started it, even if he gambles just to enjoy the game, over time he will continue to do so.  Especially when the desire arises to play but don't have money, he will do everything he can.  He will take his mother's money secretly even though he intends to return it because he hopes to win at gambling

A person cannot be forced to stop gambling unless he has other activities and limits himself to hanging out with friends who often gamble.  Apart from that, his mother also had to be more careful in saving the money she had because she already knew that her child was involved in gambling games.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: August 18, 2023, 09:26:00 AM
It has often happened that when Bitcoin experiences a decline, Altcoins automatically experience the same thing, because all Altcoin exchanges are based on Bitcoin, Altcoins will become worthless if they cannot be converted to Bitcoin.  But some Altcoins are not affected by Bitcoin price movements.  This is due to the role of influencers who are able to control it
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 18, 2023, 08:33:41 AM
A strong desire to generate curiosity to be able to win is one of the causes for someone to become addicted to gambling, especially when they have spent quite a lot of money they will continue to try to return or multiply the capital they have spent.
Only people who are greedy when they have experienced victory and keep trying to get bigger wins, in the end they go bankrupt instantly
216  Economy / Economics / Re: Would You Consider Adding Bitcoin to Your Retirement Savings on: August 17, 2023, 06:18:34 PM
Choosing several types of investments is a good thing for those who make investments, of course it will be very profitable, if we only use all assets in one type of investment, this will be harmful to our assets, of course, this is not really what every investor wants. I think that in making an investment we need to leave our savings for unexpected needs, it is not good to invest all of our money so that we don't have money for unexpected needs.
In my opinion, treating Bitcoin to retirement savings is quite risky because the price of Bitcoin is volatile, and it is not uncommon for its value to fluctuate wildly over short periods. Additionally, because Bitcoin is relatively new and different from traditional investment, its long-term performance is still somewhat uncertain.

Instead, as a retirement investment, I consider investing in it long-term with continuous portfolio monitoring. We all know it can offer a hedge against inflation. Traditional currencies deflate value while bitcoin's value may increase over time, and also, it is a highly liquid investment. Unlike other retirement accounts that may require waiting until a certain age to access your funds, bitcoin can be bought and sold quickly and easily.

But still overall, bitcoin can be a viable retirement plan option for those willing to take on some risk.

We can all see the growth in the value of Bitcoin from time to time, one of the reasons for some people that Bitcoin is very suitable to be used as a future investment asset, of course, in terms of its value growth.  Even though Bitcoin's value fluctuates, it is in great demand for those who like very risky investments because with great risk, it is believed that some people can provide large profits.
Therefore, Bitcoin is a retirement plan option for those who believe that in the future it will become more valuable and more popular
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free NFTs real or fake? on: August 17, 2023, 05:35:11 PM

As you can see from the screenshot today I checked my app and I noticed I was gift a free NFTs which is showing right inside my wallet. Actually within myself I had two things; this could be either is spam NFTs or a trap that whenever I try to connect my wallet in an opensea I may quickly get sweep off with my real money. But to my notice does NFTs got release in such manner without one buying them or possibly got associated with their airdrop?

If this is scam nfts please be very mindful if you come across something like this. I just shared this so that those who are desperate of airdrop won't rush to swap in other to receive 1.5 ETH on the picture above as I believe is another smart way to get airdrop participate or users got trapped.

Folks are improvising on a daily basis, different formats are adopted towards infiltrating people's assets, whatever they consider important and attractive to users and they vibe of the era is always what they have adopted.

Giving out 1.5 ETH currently isn't easy, it sounds suspicious to me already. I will advice that people do more research when they want to apply for the airdrop or things around it promising huge rewards.

This is clearly very suspicious and can even be said to be a trap so that people are tempted to connect their wallets because they see tokens that have quite fantastic value.  This has often happened on the Binance network, and the target of scammers is to see trending Tokens, especially Nft Tokens like today because many people have benefited from Nft Tokens.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dreaming That I'm Playing In A Casino, Do You Have One, on: August 17, 2023, 07:46:10 AM
This happened 6 days ago and on two successive nights I dreamed that I was playing in a casino, I thought I'm spending too much time playing dice games at our fiesta, which usually starts at sunset and finishes before sunrise this is a record for me, it happens when I stopped playing because of the long hours.

I thought it was alarming but doing research online I found out that there's nothing to worry about it's just a relapse dream, it happens when you are trying to shut one habit in this case gambling too much.

How about you have you experienced dreaming that you are playing in a casino, is this alarming to you?

Resource :
https://gamblershelp.com.au/lets-talk-gambling/gambling-dreams/

It seems that you gamble too often and hope too much that you can get a big win or the dreams you experience can come because after you watch gambling movies.  It's just a dream, you don't need to worry, unless you are curious and try the same thing in the dream that you are experiencing, of course it will be a bad start because later it can become a habit if you get comfortable
219  Economy / Economics / Re: New Research found Work from home workers to be less productive on: August 15, 2023, 06:52:13 PM
A person can be more productive working at home if they are consistent in carrying out their work. They can even get other additional jobs if they have more free time.  On the other hand, someone who works in an office looks more monotonous because they are burdened by the targets set by the company and only do the same tasks every day.
