1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADERS are not UNEMPLOYED on: April 29, 2024, 11:35:05 AM
The prejudice is there though, undeniable even though trading does generate income some people out there with a lot of prejudice consider day trading isn't a real job heck even getting approval of lease are hard when you stated that you do day trading, if you are a trader and you working on it full time be prepared to not be able to have loan from banks that easily unless you can build your reputation and your credit score.

undeniably it happens across the world, some people just can't grasp what trading actually is and due to that they just said that its not a real job.
speaking of stability, yes trading as a job is unstable, but so does other jobs as well I think its still inline with the potential of profit that you could gain so the unstability of the job is worth it.
even in the other job being an employee building a career from below all the way to the top you can always lost your job due to lay offs.

Indeed, many people think that trading is not a real job, even though you can get profits or income that can be targeted every day, but it is not easy to earn income from trading.  Therefore, there are some people who apply trading as a side activity and prioritize real work that can clearly earn income every month

Ordinary people around you will definitely think that if you don't have a real job, they will think that person is unemployed, but as long as you can consistently make a profit from trading, don't care too much about what other people say. The important thing is that your daily needs can be met without having to bother other people.  But it would be better if trading was used as a side job
2  Economy / Economics / Re: What scares me from investing in gold. on: April 29, 2024, 10:39:22 AM

1) I asked the salesperson will Costco buy gold back when I want to cash in and sell it? He said no Costco only sells but won't buy it back.
So buying gold from Costco would be super easy and convenient but when you want to sell it Costco says good luck you are on your own.

This is an obvious reason, because it is quite difficult for anyone who buys it.  There is no profit later when making a sale because Costco does not provide resale services.  There will be a larger reduction fee if the sale is made in another shop, investing in gold bullion is clearly not recommended if it comes from that shop
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's in For Altcoins after the Halving? on: April 29, 2024, 10:20:51 AM
It has been a good ride for Bitcoin before then halving and now that it is done with, the momentum seems to have gone down, and as we all know, after the Bitcoin Rally, altcoins react to it. Do you think the rally of altcoins will start now or we should continue with our trades like nothing happened?

The difficult side of altcoins is volatility, due to unpredictable market and it's really hard to determine how long could it take for altcoins rally. I remembered last 2017, it was the historical and remarkable days which all altcoins I hold obtained profitable value. Unlike now, popular exchanges requiring kyc mainly affected all coins value and some went zero value.
The old days it's a free roam for crypto, comparing to these days I believed several factors really challenged us the most.

The increase that occurred in Bitcoin in 2017 really had a big impact on several Altcoins. Many projects were successful at that time, although there are always projects that seek one-sided profits, there are many who feel they benefit when there is a sharp increase in Bitcoin.

5  Economy / Economics / Re: The benefits of risk taking on: March 30, 2024, 03:59:02 AM
Risk taking is a part of life, we take risks everyday without even realizing  most of it, risking accidents by crossing the expressway everyday to go to work, cooking in the kitchen with all the fire harzards and cutting with knives, these are common risks that we overlook everyday. Financial risks are the main focus of everybody, and if you're not ready to take risks, then you're not ready to reach the next level of financial prosperity and freedom, but it's important to take calculated risks, so that the person will not become worse off than when he started the risk. Thinking out of the box to enter into a better financial prosperity means that the person must take calculated risks.

Risk is very inherent in everyday life for everyone.  Taking risks in business is very important to do, where there are profits and losses, failure or success.  To achieve success, of course you have to be able to face everything. With careful calculations and the right steps, someone can achieve the greatest success in any business.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: March 23, 2024, 04:24:12 AM
Bitcoin will be increasingly known to many people, when the price rises, many will make a profit.  As time goes by, when many people talk about Bitcoin and how profitable it can be, it is likely that more and more newcomers will emerge, this will of course have an impact on the price of Bitcoin in the future.  Therefore, there is nothing wrong if from now on we can buy Bitcoin consistently, even if not in large amounts.  If used as a long-term investment, of course the benefits will be felt in the future.

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: March 01, 2024, 04:06:08 AM
Does any of feel behavioral change in you based on the win/loss in gambling. Myself had experienced it, and personally I used to be happy and I used to be polite with my family members and kid whenever I am on profit. On the day of losing it changes exactly in the opposite way, even for simple things I get much anger. Particularly while giving food to kid patience is must. On winning days I let him take his own time and eat. On the losing days I used to shout at him. I'm addicted, and I want fellow gamblers to make a self analysis at regular interval and be on the safer side.
When someone wins, of course, their character will change due to the effects of happiness they experience, this is natural and of course everyone can feel it.  I also often experience this when I win a game, the money I earn from gambling is usually spent with my friends.  Likewise, when you lose at gambling, of course you will feel disappointed, you will become silent and sometimes even regret that you spent too much money on gambling.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: March 01, 2024, 02:29:24 AM
Most people who trade in this industry can only make small profits, especially for those who focus on day trading, the profit presentation is very small, in fact they spend a lot of time just monitoring market price movements.  Therefore trading can be very profitable depending on the right situation and momentum and cannot be done every day, of course we also have to be able to analyze when is the right time to determine trading on several types of coins.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to stop on: February 29, 2024, 04:30:30 PM
Almost all people play to win, and if we summarize what motivates us all, then in general it is finances and the desire to make money. But gambling cannot always be associated with earnings, and even players who are at a significant loss continue to play, why does this happen?

This means that the point here is not always about earnings, maybe emotions during a bet are more important than winning, because the player who loses more than he wins would have stopped long ago if it was only about money. And you should stop only if the losses become too noticeable, if the player loses too much and this begins to affect his emotional state and budget.
It cannot be denied that someone who gambles certainly hopes to win, although many people think that gambling is more appropriate as a form of entertainment, there are still many gambling addicts who hope to make money from gambling.  Of course, the habit of gambling to make money cannot just be eliminated, after he gets a big win, the mindset of a gambling addict will certainly feel addicted to wanting to continue gambling every day in the hope of getting a little income from gambling.  This is of course done for those who find it difficult to stop gambling
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: February 29, 2024, 04:07:27 PM
It's always risky. For more than a year I was investing in BTC only. I wouldn't recommend it, but I can say my opinion. I think that it's a viable strategy.
its true that BTC had been stable for a while now but investing a fraction of income into a good altcoin isn't a bad idea although I still feel that when it comes to investing in altcoin you should do it in a short term bases since most of them don't last long before finally loosing Thier value.

Bitcoin did appear to have stable price movements before the bull run occurred, but it is very appropriate to use it as a long-term investment asset.  There are several potential Altcoins that are also suitable for use as long-term investments, but most of the new projects currently are more appropriate for short-term trading by taking advantage of the opportunity when the related token experiences an increase. It can be seen that previous projects after experiencing an increase in price movements will reverse  experienced a sharp decline and it is difficult to increase its value again
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy pressure on: February 28, 2024, 08:48:35 AM

How can a family man who earns 50k with 3 kids and also paying for rent feeds and many more, how can he with stand this economy pressure where there is no stability no mouthwatering salaries at all. This days we wake up and pray things should get better but it's like our country does not accept prayers everyday increments.

The government must be able to overcome difficult situations like this. People's income is not commensurate with the costs that must be incurred to meet all their needs.  The main factor must be to be able to stabilize food prices and also provide economic equality to the people, especially the lower middle class who must be able to earn sufficient income.  There will be pros and cons between the government and employers if wages are increased, but this must be agreed upon so that there are no detrimental effects.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your view and your opinion about Ethereum? on: February 28, 2024, 04:16:00 AM
The second most popular cryptocurrency coin is ethereum, Ethereum is ranked #2 in the cryptocurrency market place. Currently many people are investing in Ethereum and they say that investing in Ethereum can be more profitable than Bitcoin, because they say that when Bitcoin is 100k then Ethereum price will reach 10k. In this they can earn more than Bitcoin. Also, some are saying that once Ethereum's SEC charges are over, the price will rise so much that they will be able to profit more than Bitcoin.

What is your view and your opinion about Ethereum? You can share if you want.

Ethereum has the opportunity to continue to increase in value, it is not surprising that many people are looking for alternatives to invest in this potential Altcoin.  Ethereum price movements will continue to accelerate like Bitcoin, which has had quite high prices since its launch until now.  However, both Ethereum and Bitcoin have been complained by many people because they incur quite high transaction fees.  However, Ethereum remains the most popular Altcoin that many people are interested in.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: February 28, 2024, 02:21:13 AM
You know the interesting part of all of this? You’d make profit from all of them. Regarding Bitcoin, we know better now but looking back at 10 years ago, you never really knew what today would be if it’d be an abandoned idea or as huge as we’ve seen it. I’d say that if you have enough money (really wealthy), diversify your investments. Invest in all 3 of them after all, you’ll make profit from all.
Yes, know that all investments are going to prosper if they are given enough time to grow. So investing in all of them will be a perfect idea as long as you have all the resources to make it possible. However, allocate the biggest funds for bitcoin as we all know it’s more capable to give us the highest rate of returns, but still invest with caution. All investments have their definite risks, we just have to know how high our tolerance risk will be.

Bitcoin price movements are quite mainstream, sometimes it can provide quite a large return on the investment we make in it, and vice versa, we can easily lose the money we invest if we don't have the patience to hold it.  No one knows for sure the price of Bitcoin in the future, what is clear is that many people hope that their investment in Bitcoin will provide profits in the future.  Of course, all forms of investment definitely have risks, it all depends on self-confidence to be able to face all the risks.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Isn't trading almost like gambling? on: February 27, 2024, 09:21:06 PM

My question is, isn't trading almost like gambling considering it uncertainty and also looking from the fact that he has lost a fortune out of trading within a short space of time?

It is clear that trading is very different from gambling, in trading we can determine when to make purchases and set profits according to our wishes, by setting the selling price above the buying price.  This is different from gambling, looking for luck with it, and we cannot guarantee that we will always get lucky, because the money we spend on gambling cannot guarantee that we will always win the game.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Isn't it all about money? on: February 27, 2024, 08:57:35 PM

What if I don't want to go through all these process, don't care if I'm a graduate or not or if I'm good at speaking good English or not buth I'm just focused on how to make the money and end up making the money, won't the end justify the means?
I know of few people without school certificate and without a  proper education but they're doing well but all this still comes with lot of sacrifice, if you're actually running from education because the process is just too hard then that's not a valid reason, nothing comes easy so if you're definitely going for the money you must work hard. No doubt everything seems difficult when it comes to money.
Yes, there are some people who can achieve success without having to receive higher education, and that is of course because of their persistence in working hard to make money.  Everyone realizes that money plays an important role in fulfilling life's needs, they can do various things just to get money, some focus on getting higher education so that their careers can be better, there are also those who can be successful based on experience because of their perseverance and strong determination.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too advanced to get into Bitcoin now? on: February 26, 2024, 12:58:56 PM
Cryptocurrency prices have increased by 118% compared to last year. Similarly, prices are increasing by almost 83% in the last 04 months. The dramatic history price of Bitcoin peaks and the recent buzz around its upcoming "halving" its only fair to pose the most obvious question in front of us that-
Did the Bitcoin flight already leave investors? or is there still time to buy a ticket?

The attractions of Bitcoin investments has always been double the potential for significant returns and its suggested role as digital gold.Historically Bitcoin has rewarded the bold to investors. For the next "halving" currently on track for April, another bull run seems highly likely. Recent price gains although this potential wave should take Bitcoin to a whole other level as it did after the May 2020, July 2016 and November 2012.

If the current price of Bitcoin is high enough to start investing in it, then what will happen in the future if the price can be higher than now.  Therefore, take this opportunity when we are sure that we want to invest now, don't wait for a sharp price drop, because Bitcoin price movements cannot be predicted, but most people believe the price will be more expensive in the future
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano vs Ethereum on: February 23, 2024, 10:12:12 AM
Cardano is indeed an Altcoin that has quite potential and is quite popular among crypto users, but it is almost impossible to be able to replace Ethereum, which has a fairly high market capitalization among other Altcoins. Even Ethereum is one of the highest ranking Altcoins, there are still many obstacles facing Cardano  to be able to shift the ranking position of Altcoins above it, such as BNB, SOL and XRP
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: February 23, 2024, 03:35:43 AM
Frustration of always losing in games is one of the reasons why someone cannot control their emotions when gambling, they hope to get more returns by placing a larger bet amount when they have experienced consecutive losses.  This is often experienced by people who are no longer confident when playing gambling, they cannot play casually and are too hasty to chase victory with the wrong strategy and end up bankrupt.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 23, 2024, 02:58:49 AM
Under 18 years of age are still considered unstable, they are not very interested in gambling, on average they still rely on pocket money from their parents and do not think about being able to earn money even from gambling.  Young people certainly spend more time playing, one of which is choosing online games that they can play together with their friends.  The existence of 18+ regulations on gambling sites is of course very appropriate to be implemented by the law and the gambling site itself, because the maturity of thinking of adults is on average over 18 years and above.
