Probably because of false news about bitcoin being a scam or anything like that. These fake news really hinder people to invest in bitcoin eventhough there is really a great opportunity here. with such high bitcoin volatility, such risky investments are used by speculators, who are many in the market, but they know where the income is more at the moment. |

I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction. And since Facebook is the most popular and widely used by people, it is a great tool to spread product like the ICOs. Far-fetched, but still a possibility anyway.
Your thought, in my opinion, is close to the truth. bitcoin developer was not necessarily a big team, at that time it could be a a scientific group of 3-5 people headed by a person who has great knowledge in cryptography and understands life. |

You should look at the team and the experience they have, whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc. so unless you really see the potentials on the project, you really shouldn't invest. Ignore the moon bullshit they are trying to feed you.

I have seen many threads talking about should I sell now or wait till BTC moons. When I see these threads I marvel and move on to check on different topics or threads because I know the person doesn't know what he is talking about. Diving more into cryptocurrencies, when you sell now it means you are a coward and don't even know the kind of cryptocurrency you are dealing with. One thing is that, its really kinda pity to see those topics raised. I have set a goal and until that goal is not, I will never sell BTC and that's me.I want ask that is it because those selling the coin are newbies and are afraid of loosing some small $s or they haven't read much about bitcoin or the cryptocurrencies or they have low knowledge about the blockchain technology?
