201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is the key on: November 10, 2018, 04:01:57 PM
Yes patience is the key but not just patience hard work, consistency and focus is what one needs to get through this also one has to be well informed that keeps you equipped thanks

I would add strong believe to those mentioned. If you really believe in crypto then nothing that happens can change your mind, nether the price dump nor the news in press. All in all keep calm and carry your crypto and it will pay off like nothing else some day...
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Probably the BIGGEST REAL GAME on Ethereum is about to launch on: November 10, 2018, 03:20:05 PM
It's nice to see blockchain games transitioning to games that the majority of people might be interested in playing instead of solely crypto enthusiasts. I still think it will be a big struggle to get people to transition away from their traditional gaming. Will the game be free to play or will there be costs involved? If it's not free that will be another thing that I feel will hold it back.

Sadly, none of the blockchain games is free at the moment because of the gas fees which are always present. Right now these games appeal to crypto enthusiasts and those who like to play with money, but that's still a pretty big community and there are so many of them who haven't tried a single game just because they were all about gambling. Battle Royale changes that and promises to add actual gameplay and strategy to the game, so we'll see how that turns out. I don't think this will hold that many people back because people love the idea of being able to earn money from playing games.

Is it connected with eth town devs or your project is separate from thos guys?
Blockchain based games are on demand these days.

This is not my project, it is theirs, the developers of ETH.Town, I am merely promoting it. And yes, they truly are in demand, that's why I hope this one will move things to the next level.

0,05 ETH just to register in the game which has not even launched? That's not the good way to start the things running...After all this trash in the crypto gaming industry there hardly ever be a lot of players willing to pay for another pig in a poke.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Malaysia To Setup Degrees On Blockchain Technology on: November 10, 2018, 12:02:18 PM
Just to make sure I understand your post. It is not about degrees in blockchain technology. It is about preventing university degrees fraud, counterfeiting, and other manipulation by using blockchain to store date. Right? By the way they seem to have chosen the NEM blockchain for that.

NEM blockchain so far is the most suitable, fast and user friendly for such things. Besides it is developed in Malaysia so there is no surprise they are trying to implement it there. I'm a big fan of NEM and its blockchain and hope that soon it will be widely used all over the world but not only in Asia.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yumerium and bounty hunters - Looks like a SCAM on: November 10, 2018, 11:39:08 AM
What actions can we do to remove this scam project?

you cannot do such a thing, but what we can do is to INFORM people.
Maybe we can still write for example in the SEC so that they check this project or write to the cops? What do you think?

There are a lot of similar situations with other bounty campaign. Unfortunately this is one of the major risks bounty hunters take while deciding to participate in a concrete bounty campaign. And it's a pity but you can do nothing about it, I've seen this hundred of times already and such scam companies always get away with it. They simply don't care)) ICO is finished, the money is raised, what else do they need now? Nothing) And as this whole sphere is not yet regulated as it should be, no legal actions can't be undertaken.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many bounty campaign close before there week ends? on: November 10, 2018, 09:53:08 AM
Hello guys have been participating in a lot of bounty campaign for a while now, and most of the bounty campaign i participated in nowadays do end their bounty before the end of the week or month they approve to end the bounty, i was just hoping what may be the reason for all this bounty close down?

The point is that any bounty campaign is related to ICO of the same start up. So when the ICO ends usually the bounty campaign is over as well. And very often it happens that a company reaches its hard cap before the end date of the ICO, so it finishes earlier and as the consequence the bounty campaign also ends before the announced date.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how long will everyone can wait? on: November 08, 2018, 03:35:47 PM
Since january we all experience the red down lines
everyone experience this how long can you still hold your coins
and still hope for the best , are we waiting for another 3 years to reach the top
or we are now heading back to upward lines

I hope that we won't have to wait for another 3 years to see a bullish market again. Personally I think that the strong growth will start in the first quarter of 2019 after the approval of ETF. However some growth we should see till the end of this year as well after Bakkt launch in December.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good news? on: November 08, 2018, 03:29:59 PM
“We urge the government to break away from negative perceptions and hesitation, and draw up bills to help develop the blockchain industry and prevent side effects involving cryptocurrencies.” - Korean Bar Association

Will this encourage trust and investment or its just a way to bring crypto under surveillance and regulations?

I guess it's rather the second one...But still regulations are not always something bad. It will bring a lot of good into this sphere like new flow of money from institutional investors who are craving for regulation at the moment and are waiting for this moment to start acting on crypto market. And this will lead to a significant growth of the whole market and new wave of crypto hype =)
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto legal in your country? on: November 08, 2018, 03:25:29 PM
KYC are done to prevent members of some countries from participating in ICO because it is illegal over there. Does your country permit you to participate in ICO?

Yes, it still permits participating in ICO but I'm afraid that this will be over soon because the laws are being developed. And I wonder what are the ways to bypass the restrictions if they will be implemented?
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto community reduces! on: November 08, 2018, 03:22:29 PM
Hey guys, as o see a lot of people left crypto sphere after dramatic fall in the beginning of 2018. They are traitors who only want to gain profit! If you are real crypto anarchist you should stay with crypto till the end!

Fully agree with you. Weak and speculative people are leaving the market now selling all their crypto assets at low prices and fixing losses. And that's a very good point, it's like a sanitation for the whole sphere. When these traitors leave the market will start growing again, that's the very-well known economic cycle. And thank God there are a lot stupid people who don't understand this simple thing and who will make those patient ones very reach at the end of the day.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst year of trading for me damn on: November 07, 2018, 05:05:28 PM
So after the bearish market came
I've been holding more alts than BTC/ETH

Coins like COSS, NANO, CND and etc
I been making loss and missing out most of the pump because i sell these coins and convert it to ICON (ICX) which i waited it to be move
So basically after everytime i sold my specific alts, few days later it went 100%   Shocked

NANO, bought at 0.011 ETH i sold at 0.005 ETH, 7 days later, it went up to 0.013 ETH. Hold for almost 6 months and sold, it went up after 7 days.
Same to NANO, COSS

Everytime i sold, within days to 1/2 week
It pumped like crazy

Just like COSS
Sold off 100k at 28 ETH last week
Today 100k COSS priced at 53 ETH

Holy i been making huge losses in 2018  Cheesy Sad Shocked Cool Cool

That's a pity actually and I kinda sorry for you. But...next time after selling another altcoin can you please write here in this thread what the coin was and the exact date of your trade?  Grin Grin Grin

Seriously speaking you just need a little bit of patience and hodl your alts for 6-12 month and you would see  that it had been worth it!
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto like a fulltime job on: November 06, 2018, 06:05:58 PM
I don’t mind that a lot of people are everyday here. Our trying to be rich is clear and the majority of us are ready to make crypto our fulltime job. Of course, it could not be so easy at the beginning but I am sure that the amount of participant on the cryptomarket will be grown so much in the future it just needs in becoming more popular and so many organizations will lose their employees because of crypto. I think that it is the one more reason of crypto’s being banned. Are you ready to give up your job to be here or not?

A lot of people are ready to give up their jobs and dive into crypto full time but it's rather hard to do at the moment because this sphere is too young, there is no regulation in it and the crypto market is too volatile. All these factors hinder the implementation of blockchain and crypto into real life.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: October and December are the months of Crypto ??? on: November 06, 2018, 05:47:58 PM
Do you think October and December are the months of Crypto and BTC?

November and December historically were indeed the month of crypto and BTC, when we saw bull runs on the market and it was very amazing. But this year I'm not expecting the same situation on the market because too many people are waiting for the growth. I think bullish market will be back in the middle of 2019 not earlier.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: November 06, 2018, 05:43:37 PM
Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?

I'm sure that most of the tokens ERC20 won't survive after this crypto storm. Only those ones that give a real value will stay on the market. And if you are a lucky owner of such tokens then you can easily become a millionaire just in a year or a few. Be sure of that)
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do now on: November 06, 2018, 05:40:49 PM
Some people say hold your crypto,  some says sell immediately that holding for long is useless.
What do you believe and practice?

As for me I'm a typical hodler and I do believe in crypto and that it can change the world)) I think 2019 will be the new wave of growth of crypto market. So just we need to be patient and wait a little bit and I'm sure this patience will be rewarded.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very soon we will see a new wave of market growth!!! on: November 05, 2018, 04:55:10 PM
I believe in the cryptocurrency market and believe in its huge potential. Though now and not the best times in the market. But experienced investors understand that this is only a correction of the market, which is a consequence of the significant growth of the market before!  But I think that many newcomers now need support. I wish us all patience! Soon we will see a new wave of growth, there is very little!!! For those who are quite sad reminded that " those who in 2013 and 2014 believed in the basic cryptocurrency ideas and invested very little in crypto-coins, then, a few years later, became super-rich»

Absolutely agree with you!  a new wave of growth of the whole crypto market is inevitable. We just need to be patient and to keep our heads cool, do not react like a hamsters on each and every news. Do not be manipulated by those who want to grab all your money!
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies must be careful on: November 05, 2018, 04:49:07 PM
Recently there have been several news about Etherum falling or bitcoin dumping or more still an altcoin dying
The truth is newbies are been deceived to sell cheap or buy expensive

Newbies need to work and trust their research power and not be intimidated by any news

Newbies need only one thing - stop their panic and get used to crypto market dynamics, that it can be very volatile as well as there can be a long term flat movement which is even better than the first one mentioned. HODL and you will benefit a lot!
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][HUMA] HUMANCOIN - 50 MILLION TOKEN REWARD FOR BOUNTY on: November 05, 2018, 07:07:28 AM
Congratulations for concluding the HUMANCOIN bounty campaign. Does anyone know when rewards will be distributed to supporters? Good luck. Thanks.

I've got the same question) It has been quite a looong bounty campaign and now two main questions are: when the tokens will be distributed to the bounty hunters and when Humancoin will be listed at the exchanges. However as for me I will most likely HODL the coin because now it's not the good time to sell any of your crypto assets.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀🚀🚀[BOUNTY]ApolloX Protocol 🚀🚀🚀 $600K Rewards - Decentralized E-Commerce on: November 03, 2018, 03:11:26 PM
So the bounty campaign is over. And I would like to know two things. First, when our rewards will be calculated and we will see how much tokens we will get. And second, is KYC required to get the bounty rewards we've earned or is it not obligatory?
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Altcoins will be a big competitor to Bitcoin? on: November 01, 2018, 06:08:27 PM
Bitcoin dominance in the crypto market almost 51% right now. If bitcoin price will go to the moon again then this dominance percentage may increase! But we have many options in altcoins, and many altcoins are better than bitcoin in several ways! Do you think, in future, Altcoins will dominate the crypto market? Or will it be a strong competitor to bitcoin?

I think they won't be a big competitor but a complementary thing. At the same moment I'm not sure that bitcoin dominance will remain more than half of the market. It will be somewhere 30%. Ethereum will grow significantly and so will ERC20 tokens as the result.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It's time to sell on: November 01, 2018, 06:04:50 PM
I'm not spreading FUD and everyone is free to do whatever he wants. After all, it's your money.

What I'm suggesting here is to take all the tokens and coins you're holding and start reading the whitepaper, check the roadmap, see the team behind that project and how active the developers are is by looking at the GitHub repository. If it's not looking that good, don't think twice, just go and sell regardless of initial buy price because you'll be cutting your losses this way.

I understand that saying "hodl" is nice etc but you should use your brain and don't be blinded by the idea that every useless out there will go to the moon. Only a few are worth investing in so instead of holding random coins, you may want to target something that has been here for a long time and still doing well such as ETH, BTC.

You must have done all this before investing in ICO. And then constantly monitor the start ups you've chosen. So that you won't have such a headache now. But in this case I would agree the only thing left is to sell tokens which you must have sold long ago...
