201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Someone Forgot to Turn-off a Trading Bot? on: July 25, 2017, 03:38:40 PM
These are the trading bots that traders use to fool people. What they do is they keep on buying little by little to attract users towards it. When people see that the price is rising they also get in the queue and buy the coins. When many users start buying those coins at a higher price that is when the trader dumps a lot of coins on them and makes his profit. We have to be careful and we should know the right time to sell the coins. We can a make a profit from it before the dump.

Yes exactly this is to fool people by making artificial volüme of transactions and pump. Unfortunately some unexperienced one will be tricked, it's so tricky to keep buying at the same price continuously.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 25, 2017, 03:11:20 PM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?
At the present time now bitcoin is not yet the new currency at the present time now. But no doubt that bitcoin now is very trending in the internet so far. In fact, it is very popular in terms of giving income in online market.

You don't have to be online for bitcoin income or earnings. You can store some bitcoin in an offline wallet and just wait for its value to go up. That much easy. Bitcoin was a new era and paved the way for other coins.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your bitcoins while you are still rich on: July 25, 2017, 02:19:40 PM

..........
.........

At least you get a contrarian voice to: Bitcoin will reach $500,000 in 3 years, or $4000 next month. It may reach that level, but short term, it can't be more risky that it currently is.

Cheers,

This is the most important part of your message, you consider bitcoin as a short term investment and that's why you see it risky. Bitcoin has never become short term investment. For long holders, there is no such risk.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: July 24, 2017, 07:22:54 PM
The market cap of veritaseum is over than 350 million dollars but we're still forced to trade it only etherdelta Exchange thing. I can't understand why the team can't make the coin get on a real Exchange like bittrex?
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum Trading also stop on August 1? on: July 24, 2017, 07:15:56 PM
Why,looks like newbies thread, flood of newbies activity specially about etherum.Even btc trading will ongoing, only withdraw and deposits will be suspended

The suspension of ethereum trading for this bitcoin action is totally meaningless like you said. Their blockchains are seperated from each other and this is known by everybody. Ethereum has nothing to do with bitcoin transactions.
206  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will bitcoin be worth in 5 years {2020} ? on: July 24, 2017, 05:35:41 PM
The year 2020 is still too long in my opinion. Anything can happen in that year, with the current increase going I might say that bitcoin prices could reach 5000 $. With a more extreme increase may reach 6000 $ to 7000 $. Everything can happen to bitcoin.
Very true, it is tough for us to predict on what will be the price upon the year of 2020. I mean bitcoin's price is volatile so we don't know whether it is increase or decrease. Besides 2020 is too far from now so there's alot of might happen before we arrives on 2020.

although it is too far from now, i think if people will use bitcoin more than now, i am sure that bitcoin will be worth in 5 years from now and we can make big profit because we can keep our bitcoin until that time. i really want to see the price is increase until more than $5000 and i will be glad if in that time, i can have more than more than 15 bitcoin in my wallet.
Don't forget to invest in a Trezor or something similar. There are so many people who have lost access to their coins due to a lack of foresight regarding security and storage. Those people are also contributing to an increase in price, since they lower the amount of Bitcoins in circulation. Tongue

After sewit and bip91 preparations, I changed my mind and I started to expect over $15.000 for bitcoin price by 2020. The reason is we also have block decline in 2020.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitrrex to handle the chain split on: July 24, 2017, 04:46:25 PM
I still couldn't decide if I have to move my btc funds to electrum wallet instead of trusting bittrex exchange. Afer a chain split, if they say we couldn't protect your funds, what can we do? We can't do nothing. Offline wallets are still looking more safe than bittrex.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Parity wallets hacked, $32 million in ETH stolen. Big deal or no? on: July 23, 2017, 12:20:22 AM
it's not an ethereum hack. it's a wallet hack. maybe the people who build stuff like this haven't caught up to how valuable it is these days.

I still can't understand why they keep calling this ethereum hack. This is clearly a wallet hack and people don't see this. They think it's a bug with ethereum interestingly.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: July 23, 2017, 12:12:09 AM
Ethereum has achieved a nice network effect. That's why I consider it to be one of the cryptocurrencies that most "future" should have.

But its USP is smart contracts - and smart contracts will be added to Bitcoin once Rootstock fully works. Maybe that will change when Casper is ready - then ETH has also the USP as the "biggest PoS altcoin".

Smart contracts will never be added to bitcoin, please don't spread FUD in the forum. Bitcoin is a different structure than ether. It seems bitcoin haters came together under the thread but this won't work.

I personnally don't/won't support smart contracts on bitcoin. They're very proned to errors.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could BTC dissapear ? on: July 23, 2017, 12:01:40 AM
I see all these topics ( especially related to crypto-investment advices ) where someone asks " hey i have X ammount of fiat and i want to invest it in some shitcoins give me advice pl0x " and everyone is wisely advising "whatever you do invest in BTC also , BTC gonna be 10.000 in a couple of weeks, btc rulz " . Why ?

Don't get me wrong, in my opinion the blockchain is as revolutionary as the introduction of the world wide web, but as Bitcoin goes , besides being the first of it's kind(sort of) what's more to it ? There are other products that do it's job better, faster, safer and more private ( am i wrong ? Please correct me if i am )

Thank you

Btc already passed the border that makes it immortal forever, I'm not kidding by saying this. Bitcoin was a new era, after it, lots of new coins presented to the folks but none of them got popular as bitcoin. And none of them will be able to surpass.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Sensitive market at this moment. on: July 22, 2017, 04:46:00 PM
Bitcoin is a long term investment, but all other coins are more short or midterm. Only a few altcoins are gems. Most of them are useless clones that provide no advantage over already existing projects. What about Guncoin for instance? Any advantage over Bitcoin? Any weapons and arms dealer could accept Bitcoin as payment, therefore a coin for a single purpose seem to be useless.

Since when the market is not sensitive... Actually, it's not sensitive, it's just purely speculative. Whales are eating small scale investors like me.
212  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: July 22, 2017, 04:04:39 PM
Currently I only use web wallet, I've tried to use offline wallet but less I like because of bother and many settings to do. But to anticipate the hard fork issue I'd switch bitcoins to some altcoins like ETH, Litecoin and some other coins.
To use the offline wallet you need to download the wallet and first you need an internet connection and you need to wait for the desktop wallet to get the sync, then you can use it. In fact the arrangement is not too complicated, only this wallet is less flexible

Bitcoin core is above 100 gigabyte and hard to download with slow internet connection. I tried it two times but I cancelled. Instead, blockchain.info online wallet is useful but it doesn't give us the private keys. That's a disadvantage of it.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chester Bennington is dead - Waves price on: July 21, 2017, 07:37:33 PM
What the fuck Chester's death have to do with Waves ?
I've heard that he has huge amount of Waves.

What then? How could you create a relationship between having huge amount of waves and price going up of waves? He was just a singer and songwriter.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying bitcoin with little to no increased fees on: July 21, 2017, 07:26:35 PM
I'm having trouble finding bitcoin to buy with a 1:1 ratio or with really minor fees. Does anyone know any sites where I can purchase 1:1 bitcoin or know any renowned 1:1 sellers you can put me in contact with?

I've never deposited fiat currency to exchanges but if you can deposit Money to exchanges such as Kraken, poloniex or bittrex, there is almost no fee to buy/sell bitcoin. It's almost zero. There is only spread.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high will Litecoin go? on: July 21, 2017, 07:09:22 PM
Honestly don't see LTC appreciating very long after the August 1 deadline. Likely scenario is fud will die once everything comes together smoothly, and LTC's role as apocalypse currency diminishes significantly. Expect at least a sustained price until Aug 1 followed by a crash.

that is what many expect but the market may react differently:

1. btc survives, quickly moves over 3000$, towards 5000$
2. FOMO buyers will turn to cheaper cryptos, LTC (and others) will be snapped up by people who are not willing to pay $5000 for a bitcoin

---> I firmly believe LTC will see $100 sooner or later

I think monet is entering to bitcoin and there won't be a whole pump where bitcoin and altcoins are rising. As bitcoin grows, litecoin will lose its value this time.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest me an ICO on: July 21, 2017, 06:36:52 PM
Hi

I'm new to bitcointalk and I would like if you suggest me an ICO

I would like to discover an ico with nice potential to do x10 within months.

I will write in this message what I find interesting.

If you're a newbie to this environment, please don't take ico suggestions from other users not to be manipulated. Decide yourself and you don't lose.
217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: July 21, 2017, 06:07:04 PM
It is not simple to have fixed income from BTC trading.
I do trading and it is almost not-possible to maintain fixed income from BTC Trading.
It is possible to have HUGE amount of loss or profit of BTC or less only less/small profit.

Not likely fixed daily.

It's impossible to have fixed income with bitcoin in this market. Guys claiming this are dreamers of passive income thing. Trade is unpredictable and the income/loss changes very sharply.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: July 21, 2017, 05:44:14 PM
Without falling, there is no growth. All inventions, faced with huge problems, how many aircraft crashed during testing, but this does not mean that people refused to aviation! With the etherium, too, after the shocks and mistakes, it will firmly take its place, in the global economy!

In addition to this, Daimler company has been testing ethereum blockchain for its financial transactions. Imagine they found it well and how big groth this would cause in ethereum. Thus, it will never die.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: July 21, 2017, 04:37:54 PM
it's still in the red zone though

I dont know about you but for me the xrp/btc ratio is irrelevant. Its all about the $€£¥₩ i cant remember paying somewhere with btc lmao.

Reminder: the more fiat gateways the more decoupled from btc it becomes

That's right and gateways are important for ripple's progress.

The ratio itself is not irrelevant it's just have problems due to multiple native currencies as you wrote above.
220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Biggest problem you have with trading / exchanging? on: July 21, 2017, 04:26:26 PM
I'm curious if other people are having similar challenges. But,
what is your BIGGEST problem with trading crypto coins and exchanging overall?

Your feedback would be appreciated.

My biggest problem is only one, patience. I have been lost almost 40% from my money because can't control my emotion. When the price falling down, I should see graphic price chart not sell all my coins. But it's too late, after I sell it the price comes up again. This time I try to control my self-becomes patience people, hope will happen soon. Good luck.

That's my main problem too when I buy a good altcoin with cheap price, I can't wait for it to be more valuable. I instantly sell it out again and get back to bitcoin.
