201  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA miner monitoring RPC linux/win/osx/mips/arm/r-pi 3.10.0 on: January 16, 2014, 09:02:08 PM

If I want to restrict an instance of cgminer to BitFury mining, e.g. "usb" : "BF1:16,ICA:0,BAS:0", what is the code for them Huh

I've seen BF1, BFL and BXF used in the readmes but no mention where ReadMe explains the 3 ways to use the command.

TIA

Anyone know how to get the Red BitFury USB ASIC to mine with MuM Huh

203  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL Monarch - Delivery Dates on: January 14, 2014, 01:47:10 PM
When and if monarchs are delivered in the distant future will they work Huh

Will they flame out in a cloud of smoke like their single miners Huh

Will they honor their warranty Huh

Will they even have a warranty Huh

...coins out there that are barely heard of...

So you're off to mine what no man has mined before

What Share diff should I run for Scrypt running 3x R9 290's?

I use diff 32. It's vardiff and will adjust to the best diff as it mines.

You're really on a roll with the good news  Grin

Jan 09 11:33 AM New dedicated servers have been purchased for SHA-256 pools..  Look for new SHA coins coming soon!

The Grandcoin pool is functioning much better now.  It turned out it was a problem with stratum and not with the GDC wallet.  Once I'm able to spin up more stratum instances for it, GDC will be added to the Multiport.
Most excellent  Grin
Glad you don't toss in the towel easy.

flound, do tell, is there any significance to using one of Milla Jovovich's The Fifth Element orange hair photos as your avatar  Huh

I figured it out, she's holding up her MultiPass.

hey guys, is there a list with the fees of each coin, when I want to withdraw it? Or how can I find out?

Also BitCoin is a minimum withdrawal of 0.01 BTC.

The Personal MultiPort sure sounds great  Grin
Can't wait for its rollout.
In the mean time please enable DMD and GDC.
DMD isn't suitable for the multiport because of the 2-block retarget..  GDC is just awful, lots of orphans plus blocks simply rejected from the network for no apparent reason.  The profitability is nowhere near what it should be mathematically.

I'm going to be creating a micro-multiport that has more low diff coins soon.  4GH is just too much to throw at a coin with difficulty <2.

You've got insights that I don't have.  Now that I know why they don't qualify for MultiPort I'd never mine them at all, just enter them in my Hall of Shame.

I have Block Eruptors and BFL Singles plugged into the same miner. Problem is that BEs need to start at diff 1 and Singles start much higher. The pool assign the diff based on the worker name. Is the way to deal with this to launch two instances of MuM and enter --usb ICA:25,BAS:0 in the one for Block Eruptors and --usb ICA:0,BAS:6 in the second instance for BFL Singles? Hmm, no that won't work because you assign worker names by coin and not device.

Sure would like to learn how to do this "...use the Stratum Proxy built into MultiMiner."

I clicked on everything but I couldn't find it. Is this a programming project???

I don't have any mobile appliances so I can't use MobileMiner.

Yesterday I had a lot of coins getting disabled. I think it was due to internet connectivity issues I was having. Would it be possible to disable the disabling coin feature???

No,
Where it says "Your Workers" is currently showing GHS for PPC whilst "Currently Mining" is now showing ZET

I was just going to add that looking at the 1 minute average in the Your Workers table might be better. Believe what cgMiner says your hash rate is and if you have a low reject rate and see lots of accepts scroll by then you're in good shape as it's gong into the database for your credit.

Hi,
Is it just me or do I seem to be stuck mining PPC Huh
"Currently Mining" shows FRC but my GHS seem to be showing only on PPC !!

Are you talking about your GH/s in the top left table? If so, that's a 10 minute average so after a switch it takes 10 minutes to be close to what your miner shows.

is moon not part of the multipool?
Click on the MultiPort button to see which coins are Enabled and part of the profit switching. The ones listed as Not Enabled can be mined solo.
IC, whats the reason to have it not enabled?
It's my understanding the MultiPort 7777 only switches to profitable coins. Mooncoin still haven't got any value, right? Unless I missed something, i didn't see any of the normal exchanges I use offering to buy MoonCoins.  Why would the MultiPort switch to it? It's disabled for good reason, if you want to mine MoonCoins you can point at that specific port and mine them to your hearts content. Still don't know why everyone was mining them the past few days? Its my understanding that they are pretty much worthless? I guess they are expecting  repeat of DOGEcoin which aint going to happen. The MoonCoin miners are probably hoarding them with hopes of a big pay day? I'd give that about a 0% chance of happening, but hey I could be wrong. I mined them for a few seconds by accident and ended up with 32 MoonCoins. If it becomes profitable I'll be all over them, but for now it has no business on the MultPort.

I mined MOONies for a few minutes longer than you did and ended up with 260,000 which I dumped by hitting the bid at CoinEx and got 0.01556565 BTC for my trouble. What a joke. I wish garbage like MOON and FriedCoin (FRC) were not even on MP. If you want to know just how fried FRC is read the manifesto on their website. Seriously, demurrage is a throwback to the Dark Ages. FRC should be removed and replaced by BET, BTE, DEM, TEK, TGR, XJO, and UNO.

Some times I wonder, e.g. DMD & GDC.  The coin may have forked, it may be new and still in test mining, or it may be on its way out such as TAG.
