204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ⚡⚡⚡ BITCOIN for Long-term investment ⚡⚡⚡ on: December 29, 2018, 02:16:52 PM
Bitcoin is an excellent long-term investment. As the blockchain is the main technology, it is clear that Bitcoin will be a viable form of money and investment for decades, possibly centuries.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using bitcoin without internet on: December 29, 2018, 08:19:27 AM
Yep, just use a hardware (cold) wallet or paper wallet.
206  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where do you buy bitcoins? on: December 29, 2018, 08:15:27 AM

207  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is paxful legit? on: December 29, 2018, 02:32:08 AM
Paxful is definitely legit and boasts the most payment methods out of all the platforms. Paxful is based in New York which has its own regulations for cryptocurrency exchanges.

Purchasing Bitcoin with a credit card or debit card on Paxful is extremely simple and only requires a 1% fee. The only similar competitor in terms of payment methods would be LocalBitcoins, however, they only serve Bitcoin buyers and sellers.

Overall, the Paxful exchange is one of the best and offers an exorbitant amount of options for those who are serious about buying Bitcoin.  Read review.

Some methods of payment include:

Cash in Person
Check
PayPal
ApplePay
American Express
Chase QuickPay
Venmo
Credit card
Debit card
Bank transfer
Nigeria bank transfer
Amazon gift card
Apple gift card
208  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I'm buying Steam giftcard on: December 28, 2018, 07:12:34 AM
Check out Paxful if you want to exchange it for bitcoin. They accept Steam gift cards for trade.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the most promising cryptocurrencies? on: December 28, 2018, 06:59:39 AM
I would definitely go with:

Bitcoin
Ethereum
Stellar Lumens
Litecoin
Ripple

I may trade Ethereum for NEO or Bitcoin Gold, but overall these cryptocurrencies alone are well diversified for a crypto portfolio.

Really, it's about the blockchain and the ideas of people on platforms like Bitcoin, Stellar Lumens, Ethereum, etc. Learn more with a documentary.

212  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [HAVE] 0.1121 Bitcoin [WANT] Paypal (I DONT GO FIRST! WE CAN DO IN 2 TRADE!) on: December 13, 2018, 08:12:50 AM
I would try out a nearby LocalBitcoins seller in your city.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good idea to buy some bitcoin now? on: December 13, 2018, 08:09:59 AM
I would try and buy 3 of them for $10,000. By the time it goes back up to 5 figures you will have a hefty sum.
214  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if bitcoin crashes to $1 overnight? on: December 12, 2018, 06:04:49 AM
It would never happen. There will only be 21 million bitcoins in existence, so at a point, I'm sure Millionaires and Billionaires will be snapping up BTC if it ever gets that low.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bill Gate against investing into bitcoin? on: December 12, 2018, 05:52:33 AM
Bill Gates knows Bitcoin is technologically safe and that the Blockchain is a sound way to protect data and make it immutable.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even people in here now give up on Bitcoin on: December 11, 2018, 08:51:06 AM
Bitcoin will be the most popular cryptoasset for a while. I think Bitcoin will hold primarily as a store of value, and maybe another coin will replace it. I think both Ripple and Stellar have this capability.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how governments can regulate digital currencies? on: December 11, 2018, 08:37:19 AM
Governments will most likely replace their paper money with blockchain backed cryptocurrency. I think eventually it will be the people who regulate bitcoin, not necessarily the governments.

Bitcoin will probably work similar to Gold in digital form and be a valuable form of currency.
218  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Smart Bitcoin Investments - the #1 source for Bitcoin investing knowledge on: December 10, 2018, 06:54:56 AM
How does the Blockchain affect the banking and financial sector? Well for starters the blockchain helps to make data both immutable and transparent. With the blockchain, data becomes more secure and easier to access for many adults around the world.

The blockchain can disrupt the financial services industry by inherently making remittances and payment transfers more efficient for others to enjoy.

219  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: December 03, 2018, 03:34:22 AM
Holders usually win over the long term if they buy at a value. Just look at Warren Buffett and his investing lessons.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you sell your BitcoinABC or hold on to it? on: December 03, 2018, 02:45:50 AM
I'd probably just exchange for the Original Bitcoin, and hold onto that.

If not, I could also buy gold with Bitcoin on places like Vaultoro or GoldSilver.
