201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is 5 years old today! on: August 04, 2020, 05:27:54 PM
These graphic stats easily show that ethereum is way ahead of all the competitors including bitcoin especially in terms of usage, adoption and practicality. 5 years of Ethereum are marked with constant development and service to community while 2020 and 2021 will prove to be the biggest years for Ethereum both in terms of development with reference to eth 2.0 and also in terms of value gain and adoption.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Brave browser reaches 16.7 million monthly active users. on: August 04, 2020, 04:22:09 PM
That is massive for a browser that was fully launched just like 1 year ago although its beta was around earlier.
It is amazing to see how these blockchain and crypto based products have already received acceptance on a massive level and this is definitely due to the advantages that blockchain tech provides, big things are coming soon as masses are accepting and appreciating crypto and crypto based products now.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The total Ethereum fees have been surpassing Bitcoin's fees for a month and 1/2 on: August 03, 2020, 05:07:50 PM
Transaction fee and time duration has been the problem for eth and this has again escalated due to bulls in the market and due to price surge the cost has also become bloated. I do not see an end to this because simply the transaction volume is way above the capacity of the eth network causing sluggishness as well. The only solution is the scaling of the network and gladly eth developers are fully on it and hopefully solution will be here by the end of this year or early next year.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 - will it be delayed and if yes, how long will it be delayed? on: August 03, 2020, 04:01:21 PM
Ethereum can get very huge if ETH 2.0 is ready and working, but we know delays are usual - Devs like to say "soon".
Technically, it is very difficult to move Ethereum to a whole new chain.

When do you expect Ethereum 2.0?
and what do you expect what will happen if it's delayed again and again?
I think Vitalik said that the mainnet and the eth 2.0 initial functional platform will be ready by November so lets see how it rolls out although i agree that they should come up with a solid product and network which should be bug free because a huge community, billions in investments and thousands of dApps are running on ethereum so better delay it untill perfection is achieved buy i am confident in Eth as an enterprise and i am sure they are expert in their field and they know what they are doing so whatever the case maybe i am still bullish about Eth.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: August 03, 2020, 02:56:55 PM

What if, for example - like after that twitter hack - the President wakes up (in a bad mood) and decides with an executive order to make all crypto illegal in the USA?

Of course this probably will never happen in today's world, as the there is big money is invested into crypto currencies; but do you ever think that it is even remotely possible...

Or the next elected president is so "old school" and decides that crypto needs to go?

I don't mean only America, what about in your country; do think that a future ban on crypto currencies is ever possible in your country?
I think such things have already happened especially in 2018-19 where some countries anniunced to ban cryptocurrencies or declared them illegal, it did created some short term FUD and drama but to be honest there was literally no effect on buying, selling, trading or exchanging of crypto coins which proved the solid and commanding position of crypto and increased trust as no third party was able to stop it including governments.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for all DeFi HYPES on: July 29, 2020, 12:15:31 PM
Lately, there is a craze regarding DeFi projects. Looking at the solutions being brought into light which is basically to leverage decentralized networks and to transform old financial products into trustless and transparent protocols which is able to run without intermediaries. However, scammers will use this hype to their advantage as well. Do your research carefully before investing in any project, hype or not. Do not fall for just any project which claim to be DeFi projects. We are so excited that we may forget ourselves and just looking forward to the profit if the value of the token increases. Let's not let our guards down as we are not in normal times. God bless!
I have seen even irrelevant projects claiming to be developing DeFi products just to take advantage of this hype, do you believe even cmc listed Busd as number one defi coin lol after criticism they removed it but seems like every project wants to take benefit of this hype so the community needs to be more careful.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: July 29, 2020, 10:53:42 AM
Many people regret that they did not buy BTC while they first knew about it. For some, they did not sell BTC while they could. Roll Eyes

For me, I got MWC & HEX for free from airdrop to BTC HODLers, but dumped them before they peak. I could easily make 10x of my existing BTC, if I held them strong. Cry

What is your Biggest Crypto Regret?
I do not like regretting because it is nothing but constant stress so we should learn to move on and secondly you are doing what is best for you according to the situation so regretting later will not help rather it can deteriorate your health so always stay positive new opportunities will always come.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some priceless tokens. on: July 29, 2020, 07:54:20 AM
I have been in this arena for 4 to 5 years actively and believe me i have dozens of such tokens which have uncertain future, some have already failed or closed or scammed whatever you can call them but the fact is with in this industry you will find wrong projects and you invest similarly you find a wrong campaign and you promote resulting in piling up of useless tokens over the years. I just wish there would be some service one day that will accept these tokens for cookies or drink lol.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ethereum Foundation ETH2, The Biggest Update For Etherum | From PoW To PoS on: July 28, 2020, 03:52:08 PM
Cannot wait more for Ethereum 2.0 to be finally functional and live especially the conversion of algorithm from pow to pos although we are just in testnet phases as of now but the excitement is real and i think it will keep growing till the launch of eth 2.0 which will be awesome for not only eth supporters but all the crypto community as a whole. The benefits will surely give eth an edge over all other blockchain networks.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Firms Collaborate With Chinese Central Bank to Launch Digital Yuan on: July 28, 2020, 02:19:06 PM
China is all set to lead the world in this advanced technology and they want to completely capitalize on the blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies and their own official digital currencies, I am impressed jow they have realized the future potential of this new tech and now they are looking to fully implement it practically, let us hope that other countries will also follow China otherwise they will left behind in this race.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What strategies do you use to make profits or to make your portfolio grow? on: July 28, 2020, 12:21:28 PM
Are you using a long-term strategy to make a percentage profit?

or you'd rather jump from project to project..?

sharing your experience in the crypto industry will be highly appreciated here
For me it is like just buying more and more with savings every month especially during the bear market, sometimes i do cashout when i need urgent funds but the main idea is to accumulate as many good coins as possible to take advantage of the bull season.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still sleeping? on: July 28, 2020, 10:03:10 AM
The title sound funny right. It is not news that the crypto market is booming now, I hope you are already putting every necessary things in place to maximize the state of the market now and the state to come. If you are yet to start investing in one or two promising project by now, it means you are still sleeping. Wake up and do something. I have seen a lot of post complaining about how they missed out of 2017, are you sure you are not going to miss out of this? Hmmmm.
Actually the long bear market was the best time to buy and accumulate more and more quality coins so personally i was trying to get more and more btc and eth with some other good coins but still it seems less because we want to capitalize on the longterm bull run that is about to start soon.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Investors Rejoice As Bitcoin Price Surges Above $10,000 on: July 27, 2020, 05:03:47 PM
There is no need to be rejoicing at the moment as btc has done this several times in recent months but the fact is that there are very tough resistances on the way up. First being the 11k mark if btc breaks it then 14k will be even tougher. We can start to rejoice one btc breaks its longterm resistance of around 20k with good momentum only then we can be sure that we have entered the next bull market cycle that will last for many months.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This could be a big WIN for an entire crpyto community on: July 27, 2020, 03:02:59 PM
Court Rules Bitcoin Is a Form of “Money” Under Washington D.C. Money Transmitters Act
https://btcmanager.com/court-rules-bitcoin-money-washington-dc-money-transmitters-act/

IMO, this news could be huge news for the entire crypto community I think this will bring us one step closer to mass adoption. What do guys think?

Chinese court has also given a pro crypto ruling while Russian policy makers are working to declare crypto as a property looks like everything is turning in favor of the crypto market at the moment so expect this bull run to be bigger than ever.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OneCoin scam promoters found dead! on: July 27, 2020, 01:23:15 PM
Oh well, RIP to these OneCoin scam promoters and condolences to their respective families.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/two-onecoin-promoters-found-dead-in-mexico

The first time I heard about OneCoin is from a good friend of mine. Before I was introduced to crypto, she was way ahead of me already. However, she was promoting OneCoin back then until it went scam. She attended various conferences and networking with the attendees to promote OneCoin and mostly got ignored.

This is what we truly get for promoting scams heavily in the internet.
I still remember that onecoin was heavily promoted even around me locally and those so called leaders made people invest thousands and thousands into this ponzi and after this ponzi crashed there were millions of effectees around the world, this incident could also be the result of someone losing big amount and then taking revenge from the promoter or the person that pushed them for investing in onecoin.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi hypes is it a bubble or real indicator of market rebound on: July 27, 2020, 09:50:47 AM
What can you say about the current defi hypes? Somehow I can feel that it is the same hype during thr last bull run when ICO really heat up the market. The only difference is we can experienced their platform and able to monetize any features they are offering which include different sector, from lending, gambling, gaming and financial view.

Are you positive abut defi pulling up the market crisis for cryptocurrency?
Yeah, i am positive about DeFi and its success in the market and i see it a much bigger think especially when it comes to the future of banking and finance a lot of development is going on and a lot of products and services are being developed which just indicate the big things coming in near future.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sudden Ethereum PUMP!! What is the reason? on: July 23, 2020, 05:28:30 PM
I am quite optimistic that this surge is going to be the start of something big for ethereum and bitcoin, I am specifically talking with reference to longterm bull trend which was highly expected after btc halving even, seems like coming months will be even more bullish.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost coins on Liqui, anyone able to get coins out? on: July 23, 2020, 01:37:15 PM
Hey there, I was dumb and left 14 ETH on Liqui exchange and they closed up shop in January. The site says you can file a ticket with support to still withdraw coins but I did that and they responded with just saying to withdraw coins as normal, but all the balances are zeroed out so you can't withdraw anything.

I'm guessing my coins are gone for good, but anyone else deal with Liqui since the closed a few months ago?
Well, i did had some tokens there and i cashed out easily and i think the process was easy and the team responded well in my case so my experience with them was good.
Regarding your case, i would suggest you to search through all your other wallets as you may have moved those eth somewhere otherwise try to find the transaction link of those eth and contact support at liqui.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Altcoin Rally Might Be Over as Focus Shifts to Bitcoin on: July 23, 2020, 11:08:38 AM
We are getting good bullish signals and vibes in the market now and this could very well be the beginning of the longterm bull market hopefully. I also hope that the market will move organically this time around with volume spreading across all good projects resulting in gains across the market.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market Analysis through Tokenmarketcaps on: July 23, 2020, 09:44:19 AM
It is good to see more coin/ token data platforms emerging, not only it will increase competition in this niche but also it will help in comparisons and transparency will increase because of competition.
