201  Economy / Economics / Re: War requires three things on: March 02, 2022, 07:52:36 AM
My question to the forum is how does Putin intend to make the war of aggression against Ukraine be eventually profitable?

It's very hard to quantify the losses Russia faces due to the Ukrainian war. The stock market collapsed, Rubble is going down, international trade stopped, many new sanctions are coming up. On top of that is all the military equipment being lost in less than a week. Every jet, tank or helicopter that goes down cost several million. All these costs together need to have some form of profit that Putin hopes to gain Ukraine. One Profit is that he hopes to get access to the natural resources, like natural gas. If he changes the government and installs a pro Russian prime minister he could also control the large companies in Ukraine.
Of course there is a purpose behind the war and economic calculations must be careful, considering that the capital that will be issued is not small. This conflict started from the overthrow of the pro-Russian president in 2014, until now it has heated up and there has been an invasion. If the invasion is successful this time, Russia will get natural resources and get an honorary state which of course is due to the competition between the West Block and the East Block.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin next steps and where it may fail spectacularly on: March 02, 2022, 07:11:17 AM
In my view, Ukraine cannot be defeated until the Ukrainians themselves decide that they have been defeated.
unfortunately Ukrainians are very brave and ready to die fro their country, wherein even there president joined the battle including womens.

The big mistake of putin is he underestimate Ukrainians and he expecting that within days he can make all the people from Ukraine surrender.
That's true even I was quite surprised to hear that Ukrainian civilians were also in the war,
it is a form of love for their homeland I really salute that,
despite all that I really hope this war can end and the world will return to peace
I also read the news that Miss Universe Ukraine also wore army uniforms and took up arms. so if ordinary civilians dare to defend their country then it is not easy to be defeated, and the possibility of the dispute will last longer, but hopefully that doesn't happen, and both countries realize that humanity is more important than ambition and ego
203  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold is the new gold... or the old gold... or both on: March 02, 2022, 07:02:51 AM
It is with sadness that I see how bitcoin has dropped (nothing new really) in sync with the global markets around 11% last week while the old gold, AKA simply "gold" has made a rush to 6.5% in the last month. Needless to say that this is related to the war in Ukraine and the prospects of instability, not that it was unexpected, tend to draw people towards gold.

I wonder if bitcoin can still be considered a reserve of value when is following and correlating this much with stocks markets.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies which carry the concept of decentralization, of course, very much depends on the user and community, now it is easier for transactions with bitcoin so I'm sure it will make users continue to grow and of course it will have an impact on prices that will continue to rise, hold and be patient for at least 5 more years then we will see the difference compared to now.
The behavior of bitcoin's movement lies in the activities of its users, but by comparing it with gold and the current situation where there is a conflict between Russia and Ukraine, I think it has an effect even if it is only for a moment, and that too occurs because of the momentary panic of the users. and we can see at this time where bitcoin is back up after experiencing a decline
204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Crypto is? on: March 01, 2022, 04:31:13 AM
Simply put, Cryptocurrency in my opinion is digital or virtual currency that is guaranteed by cryptography, and with the existence of cryptography, digital currency or cryptocurrency becomes almost impossible to counterfeit.
Cryptocurrency makes transactions between users more secure because there is no need to go through third parties, everything is controlled by itself with the aim of eliminating the bank system, and besides that cryptocurrency can also be used to transact globally.
and for more details you can find anything related to cryptocurrency on google in detail.
briefly we say cryptocurrency is a digital currency which requires using the internet and its supporting devices, so it cannot be used offline, this is different from fiat currencies today. many people call that crypto will free from inflation, because it tends to increase in price, so it is currently attractive for investment and trading
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Better Option Than Fiat Money? on: March 01, 2022, 04:16:05 AM
I think that both, both BTC and FIAT money are necessary in our daily lives, in very particular cases such as those of countries in crisis with high inflation rates, BTC becomes one of the best options to jump those financial limitations and get out of the internal system and having a better particular economy, however due to the nature of BTC of having a net deflationary economy it has a very clear advantage over the traditional economy, I think that is the greatest advantage that BTC has and that makes it unique over Fiat.
We can see the situation that you're explaining.

Especially in times that there's a war or economic sanction or the status of a country isn't good, bitcoin is a key getaway and helpful in those bad times.

Whether it will be a personal struggle or an economic struggle. Bitcoin surely is helping everyone who holds it.
We are actually seeing its relevance on times like this specially now on a war. We've seen on how it do really acts as a medium which could really make things easily accessible which is the true beauty of it.

Not to be able to replace on Fiat money overall usage or application but there are some limitations and now we do have options we could take and choose up according on various situations or conditions.
Although bitcoin has its advantages, it certainly has its drawbacks as well. until now the government still considers that fiat is the most relevant to use. indeed because we are struggling in the crypto world, of course we want bitcoin to be usable immediately, but the government is certainly looking at it from many directions to legalize it, hopefully with this conflict paving the way for bitcoin to be adopted
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World War III & Bitcoin on: March 01, 2022, 04:05:34 AM
I don't think the US has thought about going to war with Russia openly, considering the losses that would be incurred if it happened. and until now nato itself has not given a clear reaction to help ukraine, so the ukraine president feels alone to face russia. Of course, in conditions like this it is something that is not certain, if the war spreads, it is likely that the price of bitcoin will get worse
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance donates $10 million to support Ukraine on: March 01, 2022, 03:53:45 AM
It's really sad to see the condition of Ukraine, because after all the war will have a bad impact on the people, many losses from various fields. lucky people like binance and ftx have a sense of humanity so they can ease the burden on the affected population. I hope other exchanges or projects in cryptocurrency can follow the same thing, because we are in the crypto world
208  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do most cryptocurrencies rise and fall together? on: February 25, 2022, 02:56:09 PM
Quote
Bitcoin is king of all coin and most popular coin in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin and most coin between good relationship each other. We know when bitcoin price rise then all coin price going to rise. Now bitcoin price drop and almost coin are going to fall down in price. So i think when bitcoin price will rise again then all coin price will be rise again.

Yes, bitcoin still remain the king among other cryptocurrencies and that is why many investors like to invest more on bitcoin than any other coins in the community. When the price of bitcoin increased to $75k last year and many other coins start improving in the community that was giving other investors an opportunity to start earning from their investment. Since bitcoin price started dumping in the community and other coins are dumping too, show that many investors are using bitcoin price to determine what will happen to other coins in future. Now that many buyers are rushing to buy more of bitcoin based on the price dropped that happened few weeks ago to make people prepare for a brighter future and likewise to other coins investors.
especially if the bitcoin phenomenon has increased, there will be many investors who are looking for altcoins to invest, in the hope that they will have big profits. The influence of bitcoin so far has not disappeared on the development of altcoins and this has happened as it was in the beginning. it seems that all investors have the same rationale, that bitcoin's behavior will also have an impact on the development of altcoins, and if most people think that, then it's not surprising that ups and downs occur together.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 25, 2022, 02:45:26 PM
I don't believe the comparison between Bitcoin and Fiat should be continued because Bitcoin is fully decentralized; it was created to give us proper control over our entire wealth in order to avoid any third parties while spending our wealth, whereas fiat is always centralized, and I can refer to fiat as CBDCs because all transactions are monitored by governments.

How it can’t be compared? It’s literally intermittently connected with each other, whether it’s fiat or bitcoin they will have correlation of unit measurement. We can value bitcoin or understand the bitcoin valuation by fiat measures only. Moreover, though crypto currencies are decentralised that’s just related to its salient features. Without fiat you can not buy crypto currency’s neither you can trade it with others. We know very well we can not understand one bitcoin equals one bitcoin math right now. We have to value different products and services in fiat unit only. So that’s it, they are connected and have to compared for the sake of measuring.
of them there is a correlation measurement. we can say bitcoin is free from inflation, because we see inflation that occurs in fiat every year, it can be closed with a bitcoin value that far exceeds the inflation rate in fiat. both have only the difference in the decentralized system and the centralized system which the government can control. the rest of them both are the same as a unit of currency
210  Economy / Economics / Re: Who gain's from War ? on: February 25, 2022, 02:34:36 PM
I'm right here, Argument with my mate about the current invasion by Russia in Ukraine.
He just told me countries make money from war, could it be the journalist alone ? Government who please, I'm juvenile at this.
It's not journalists who benefit, but the place where journalists work that make a lot of money, they can spread good news every day about the conflict. The warring countries suffered heavy losses, buildings were destroyed, innocent people became victims, the economy was crippled and the government could not work safely.
Not only that, the war between Russia and Ukraine has had an impact on cryptocurrency investment instruments, traders and investors has also become victims, because bitcoin and other alternative coin began to fall freely after being hit by the issue of war.  Neither side benefited from the war because after the ceasefire the two countries suffered severe damage.
Destroying every city may be short, but getting it back to normal will of course take a long time. if this war spreads, the cryptocurrency news will also be even more bleak, considering that there will be many people who need money to buy food supplies, of course it can prolong their lives, so food will become like gold, because what is needed the most when things go bad occur
211  Economy / Economics / Re: OMG crypto is low ! what do i do ? on: February 25, 2022, 02:26:09 PM
We have this saying that when people are in fear to take the risk to be courageous to stand in this situation and do your best to see the best thing out of it if you really wanted to get or earn good profit from it and that I think what was OP wanted to impart to us, however, the above-mentioned ways or options that he shared doesn't suit for all crypto users like for example the creating NFTs and creating tokens because not all of us has the ability, the potential, and the knowledge to do it. For me, in my case, I'd still choose to hold the assets that I've acquired and wait for the market to recover again.

I get your point brother, and I too do agree with the saying you mentioned. But the thing that needs to be considered also is that not every risk is worth taking, fear is an essential emotion that protects us from harm. Although it also restricts us sometimes from reaching greater heights, with proper moderation, it is can also be a powerful asset. Main take in is that being well prepared or cautious is what I was trying to point out. Which is why I said something like studying it while doing what you are used to is also a good idea. This is because it gives one's self time to learn while still being able to earn with less risks and in the future be able to earn more using the knowledge thoroughly studied. I hope you get my point Smiley
therefore we must dare to take risks but in a measurable way, so that all possibilities to the worst possibility we have prepared. there are many ways to do such a thing, as is the case with the current situation many traders still make a profit by relying on their trading experience. but what we should know that they can do it not in an instant way. therefore we need a lot of experience to support our goals
212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey of a successful trader on: February 24, 2022, 03:10:59 PM
There will be many roadblocks in your path at first, as it is obvious that nothing comes quickly and that success takes time. I had a lot of challenges at first, but as time went on, I learned more about what was important, and learning made it easier for me to generate money. The way you explain it is excellent, but it would be even better if others were aware of it. It is critical to realize something. You can be robbed of success if you don't know something.

Some are really fast learners, so they were able to navigate crypto trading very easily and adopted to it. Maybe they don't have experience, or those who have been in stocks that have shifted to crypto. But for the rest of us, it might take years and years and lots of money lost to really understand the market ins and out. So it's not that easy for us, but hey, we just needed a first time and be patient in order to succeed in this field.
In the beginning, apart from losing a lot of money because of the pursuit of experience in trading, of course a trader will be confused by price fluctuations and their analysis, but of course for those who want to learn from experience, they will become more established over time to determine the direction of the market, considering that a good view will be formed. as a result of often facing the market with various situations
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Proper risk management? on: February 24, 2022, 03:01:48 PM
Thay can be helpful in trading, but emotion is very important aspect to face while trading. Risk management in this case can be helpful for people that are trading several coins at a time, this is common in forex trading. Since I have been trading cryptocurrencies, I noticed their price move in the same direction, I prefer to choose just one coin and which is bitcoin.

What I am trying to say is that risk management is beyond using app or any software that will calculate the percentage wining and losses, it is also about mindsets and emotions about opening and closing a trade at the appropriate time.

I agree.

Risk management should be properly consist of 100% discipline, because if your emotions overpowered your risk management plan, then it's all useless. Risk management plus emotion management is important, those two should always coexist with each other in order to increase your win rate in trading.

Also, stick to your plans, don't change it while you're making a trade, because usually that's the reason why most people lost most of their funds on trading instead of making profits.
at this stage I divide it into 3 levels, where emotional management holds a 50% success rate while money management is 30% and the last is strategy management is 20%. so we have to be disciplined towards these three in order to be successful in trading cryptocurrencies. and the most important thing is that we have to increase our experience by holding on to the three elements
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I convinced a Stock Trader to Invest in Bitcoin on: February 24, 2022, 02:45:04 PM
With the ongoing adopting of Bitcoin worldwide? i don't think traders from different areas will still deny that crypto investing is profitable so yes they are now considering this to be their investment tools aside from their normal ways like stocks or real estate ..
Yes of course, and i am pretty sure when many of such investors get into the Bitcoin network, they will make Bitcoin their number one investment asset, if you look at different assets today, Bitcoin has to be up there as number one or thereabout with all its features and advantages for investors, it's obviously an opportunity that smart people will definitely take advantage of. Having said that, influx and adoption by institutional investors didn't just start now, so i expect it to continue till mass adoption becomes reality. Bitcoin has proven to be sustainable for the long term, and investors usually look to the future, so they'll choose Bitcoin more often than not.
Yes and this will lead those investors from different areas of profiteering , from real estate and stocks , crypto will be their place to invest sooner..

eventually they will and pretty sure that many of them are now studying and researching about this possibilities and may bring them to crypto in the near time.

They'll soon find out that crypto investment is more profitable than the stock market and bonds. That is why we don't need them to push and convince us to invest in crypto as surely they already have the gasp about this. As they are in investment, they will surely find other ways to make more money and to find out that crypto is supposed to answer their call and wants.
Well, Bitcoin is getting more popular this time, they can't surely ignore this but it gives them curiosity.
especially for stock investors who have high speculation, of course they will be curious to learn about bitcoin. in plain view, with current users only 5% of the world's population, it will provide an opportunity to make an income from this bitcoin investment. especially with high fluctuations, this is profitable for traders to trade and make more profits
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The digital perfection of Bitcoin on: February 24, 2022, 02:35:05 PM
Yes it is true bitcoin will not be able to replace fiat currency because bitcoin is only used as an alternative currency to make payments when fiat currency experiences inflation because bitcoin is guaranteed to be resistant to inflation because of its limited supply, as we have seen in El Salvador though currently their government has legalized bitcoin as a legal tender in the country but they still use fiat money as the mainstream currency.
Elsalvador is a country that truly exemplifies what bitcoin adoption has done. Fiat and Bitcoin coexist to be legal tender. Even the president of El Salvador will establish a bitcoin city where all transactions are carried out using bitcoin as the main payment. it's a big step that will make bitcoin adoption even crazier. Bitcoin is the most valuable digital currency and is able to change the way transactions and transactions are carried out are also transparent.
In Elsalvador, the government even distributes a number of bitcoins to educate all people to be able to use it, of course this is a socialization step so that all elements of society become familiar with using bitcoin to transact in that country. and if elsalvador succeeds, then this can set an example for other countries, that fiat and bitcoin can be used side by side, so that the community can judge and the government makes rules so that the community obeys

216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I understand about bitcoin on: February 24, 2022, 02:25:21 PM
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, that is not control by government or any countries of the world. There are many favourable things to achieve from bitcoin, if you are willing to follow the rules and regulations that guided bitcoin through out your learning in the community. Those successful bitcoin users you seen around the community started as a newbie to learn more about bitcoin that made them to learn from their mistakes and other people mistakes to get to where they are today in the community.

Note that bitcoin will remain decentralized currency and it will keep remain the king among other cryptocurrencies in the world. Invest more on bitcoin and see what will happen to you in the future when the price hit $100k.
although as a decentralized currency, bitcoin is currently more profitable as an investment tool that can multiply our money, considering that many countries are still rethinking its decentralized nature. the government seems to still object to relinquishing its control over a currency, so that globally, fiat will still survive. only a few countries have fully legalized it for now.

218  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade-in between the lines on: February 08, 2022, 07:16:03 AM
You are saying right that trading is not an easy task. Crypto market has 2 trillion dollar marketcap. So, its very difficult to change the wave of market. So, if market is in bullish zone. then take profit from long position or buy coins at dip prices. But if you feel market is in bearish zone. Then take only short positions. Because, in trading trend in our best friend. So, must follow the trend of market. If you are opposite with the trend then you cannot make money. But you can lose your investment. So, its better for you to first judge the trend of market then take any entry.
the trend is indeed a reference for trading and we should indeed follow the movement of the trend that is happening, many people are against the trend and they end up losing money. different from a flipper who takes advantage of price corrections, but they must really understand the flow of market movements
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: February 08, 2022, 06:59:47 AM
luck can't be learned, but knowledge really determines success in holding coins. if we are based on knowledge, then during bear season, panic will not arise, because we will calmly wait for the bullish season to arrive. This kind of patience that not everyone has, so many panic sell and regret it. therefore leave the capital to buy back during the bearish season
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Better to Hodl or Stake your Tokens? on: February 08, 2022, 06:55:22 AM
I seldom use staking, don't know why - maybe I think more about the price growth and don't trust DeFi platforms...
I use BNB vault on Binance to stake my BNB and CRO staking on Crypto com platform. Sometimes I stake my stable coins on a bear market - if I have some, heh Smiley
If the project are from bigger companies then maybe staking giving benefit but mostly I also do not stake because I think that the staking reward will be low and the locking time period for staking also is a problem.
But with staking there are risks too. if we believe in the analysis of the coins that we stake on a particular platform, I don't think there will be a problem, because we have to freeze our coins for a certain period and get coin rewards, so we can't sell our coins at high prices, but must complete the contract first. then consider it carefully
