2001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making 1% Daily on: June 19, 2018, 03:29:21 AM
Sure, you can Wink But there are some cases
- You earn 1% profit in 10 days = 10%, great!
- Day 11, you lost 5% because of market crash...
-> I suggest you should change your strategy
You may have lost 5% in 1 day but it doesn't mean you are compelled to sell it even at 5% loss, you can hold on to it until the market recovers and thats also the reason why it's not advisable to put your money in just 1 investment. Meaning spread your funds in different tokens or coins. Even if the market is bearish, its not all the time that all of them are not doing well, some will remain in green while others will turn red.
2002  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello traders on: June 18, 2018, 04:53:04 PM
Im working long hours everyday and dont have the time to study technical analysis..so what I did is I bought coins during bearish time .but when I check them back the value goes even dipper..what should be the best thing to do..apply a cutloss strategy or just leave them until the market goes bearish again?
You already committed a mistake when you bought coins during bearish times. When I see majority of the coins are in Red, I don't buy anything and I don't sell anything. I'll just start trading when the coast is clear. However when I see 60% are in Red and the remaining coins are in Green I'll start buying but I'll check which one is the biggest loser of them all, I'll list down at least the bottom five and check which one is the lowest volume, check price history for the past 7 days, then use tools like RSI and Parabolic SAR then I'll decide which one to buy. It's just me, its still up to you on what to do with your money.
2003  Other / Meta / Re: Captcha on: June 18, 2018, 04:17:22 PM
It prevents bots from registering, or logging in automatically, and spamming up the joint. Of course this only really prevents them.
They will always find ways to register and spam the forum with those useless ICOs. I've seen and reported those bot accounts but they keep sprouting like mushrooms. What more if those captchas are not around, we could be seeing a lot ICO's always on the first page bumped by those bots. If there's another way to prevent them from posting automatically I would like to see them implemented around the forum. Like we need to solve a captcha for every post that we make.

Seems fun but dangerous
Fun? YES, Dangerous? NO. Not sure where that "dangerous" comment is coming from, but Bitslers site developers are doing their best to make sure that security of the site is on par with other dice sites or gambling sites or maybe even better but that is something that our users will confirm and not us to claim. Give it a try, look around the site and enjoy not only dice game but other games too like roulette and color game.
2005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: June 18, 2018, 06:18:43 AM
Gambling is like trading too, you have to learn how to control your emotions. If in trading there is this FOMO, in gambling there's this trying to beat the system attitude. You are already in a losing streak, you already lost 40% of your funds, what do you do? Still hit roll button? or you fold? I would fold and call it a day. I would rather keep the remaining 60% of my funds and comeback some other time when luck is on my side. Greed will not help you win back those loses but will only bury you do a deeper hole or maybe dept.
2006  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: June 18, 2018, 03:45:38 AM
The Bitcoin that I earn from campaigns, bounties and trading are invested in different ways. 25% goes to my retirement plan, I signed up to this pre-need company where I can save $48 every month for the next 5 years and I earn 10% annually plus a life insurance coverage. You might say 10% interest per year is small compared to what we can earn in trading but what I am after is the life insurance coverage so if anything bad happens, my loved ones will get something and the money invested there will grow unlike in BTC, we are not 100% sure if after 5 years price of BTC is still the same.

$48 is relatively small compared to what I earn in BTC from bounties, trading and campaigns. Other portion of my earnings are invested in stocks, I selected companies that are already established and good for long term investment.
2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: June 14, 2018, 05:40:01 PM
For those who believes in the Martingale strategy, going through a losing streak is means there's a chance that the number or color that you picked will win. For me its not a good idea chasing your loses you might end up losing more. If you are in the losing streak, pack-up and leave, there's another day to play and learn from your mistakes.
2008  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Eid Mubarak Affect Bitcoin Value ? on: June 14, 2018, 05:30:40 PM
I don't think it is possible that Eid Mubarak has an affect in the price of Bitcoin since those who celebrate Eid Mubarak are those who are lives in Muslim countries or there's a community for Muslim's. If there's an affect, it might not be that big as some of us are expecting. I have office mates who are Muslim and before Eid Mubarak, they sold some of their appliances to celebrate the event. Affect maybe just minimal.
2009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think the best way to gain when you trading? on: June 14, 2018, 05:15:19 PM
as for me, Trading is serious thing, Its fun when you earn, but when you lose - you cry. To avoid the crying check out CRYPTICS, its good for day trading as well and I am very confident in this project and I am ready to give a 100% guarantee that these guys will succeed.
Yes it is a serious thing, you are not playing with your money, you can't just buy a token or coin just because you feel theres something with that coin or token that made you buy. You need to do your won research, read the white paper, go back up to 3 months and look at the price history. Look at the announcement too if there's any update on the project because there are times positive news drives the price to go up.

Before you start trading, try to pretend that you bought a coin and see how much gains you get, observe first before jumping into trading. Trading is not for everybody. It requires patience and a lot of trial by error.
2010  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy This Dip or Wait ? on: June 14, 2018, 05:03:19 PM
Yep its a good time to fill your bags with coins. I filled my bag with Ethereum since price went down below $500 USD. Ethereum at below $500 USD lever is very much undervalued and this is the kind of coins or token we look for, those that are under valued and not those that are currently pumping. Look at Cardano and how much is the price difference when it was not announced yet about their listing in a new exchange site.

I am able to log-in to my Bitsler account now, although it asked me to confirm my login through a link in my email but aside from that log-in went very smooth. Good job to the Bitsler Development team!

2013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 14, 2018, 07:50:12 AM
I have came across that article also and i doubt that it would be realized. IMO if Golden State warriors will add Anthony Davis to their line-up, then the career of AD will be ruin. He will be reduced to a role player rather than a star player. They system of play that the Warriors had does not suit the style of play of AD. Run and gun, the Warriors could go small if they want as they are very successful in it. If i were AD i would team up with Lebron James.
The question is where is Lebron James heading? Teaming up with Anthony Davis is not a bad idea but actually their tandem with 3 good players maybe enough to compete with the current players of Golden State Warriors but, both must adjust to each other and work as a team, team with 5 players not only 2 or 1. This is one reason why Golden State Warriors is successful recently, everyone in the team plays a role, no one will out shine another player.
2014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: June 14, 2018, 07:41:14 AM
First online bet that I made was with PlanetofBets, it's a sports betting site and I bet on our local basketball league. I saw a post of a guy who won (accumulated) a lot money through PlanetofBets by betting only on those with good odds of winning, he posts his referral link and I signed up. I see that the site is still up and running but I stopped using them and focused on dice games.
2015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: June 14, 2018, 07:30:41 AM
No doubt that gambling destroys lives of many people and this is just because they are addicted of gambling and do not think of their future.
Gambling is Ok if done in moderation. Gambling is supposed to be for entertainment. It s not supposed to replace your day job or current business to earn money. I have seen and read about those who took their lives because of losing money in gambling, broken families because of gambling addiction thats why in my country, there is a disclaimer in any ads of casinos that one should not gamble when going through a personal problem and it is for entertainment only.

In online gambling there is no fun and you will only gamble, win or lose money.
There's fun in online gambling regardless if you win or lose. There's fun in traditional gambling. But, there's no fun in traditional gambling when before you enter the premises they ask you to show the money that you will use to gamble as they don't allow onlookers only. What if I am observing first before I start to play.
2016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is the only policy. on: June 14, 2018, 06:42:55 AM
It will be interesting to see if we can retain all our losses in the future. The main question is about the time that will be needed for this. Then we will need extreme patience and attention.
It is possible to regain your loses in the future if you hold on to the coins/tokens that you have and apply a good strategy you might recover from that blood bath that we have today. Just look at Cardano (ADA) if those who have this become impatient and sold at loss price, they should be kicking themselves now as ADA is starting to pickup because of the news that it will be listed to another exchange site.

im sorry to say it too, but a website who makes tons of cash, serious cash / day, not to be able to have a proffesional dev team, hosting and so on .... it kinda sucks for u guys ...
The development team is doing their best to put the site on-line as soon as possible. No site owner wants their site to be down, every minute counts in this kind of business. Bitsler team is asking for more patience. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
2018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Already lost 50% of my capital on: June 13, 2018, 11:36:18 PM
For me it is normal that we will lost a big amount of money specially when the market is not in good condition but my advice is to just keep all of our coins and dont sell it with a low price, just hold our coins and we can surely be very profitable.
But we should be prepared for this situation, what are the options available to recover losses. Holding on to the coins and not sell until market starts to recover is just one of the remedy. Looking at the current market situation it may take time again for the price of BTC to reach $8,000 USD and its been over a month when we see BTC at $9,000 USD.
2019  Economy / Gambling discussion / UFC 226: Miocic vs. Cormier Prediction Thread on: June 13, 2018, 07:15:09 AM

Fight is scheduled on July 7, 2018 at T-Mobile Arena

Stipe Miocic (c) vs. Daniel Cormier [Heavyweight]
Max Holloway (c) vs. Brian Ortega [Featherweight]
Francis Ngannou vs. Derrick Lewis [Heavyweight]
Michael Chiesa vs. Anthony Pettis [Lightweight]
Gökhan Saki vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. [Light Heavyweight]
Uriah Hall vs. Paulo Costa [Middleweight]
Yancy Medeiros vs. Mike Perry [Welterweight]
Raphael Assunção vs. Rob Font [Bantamweight]
Curtis Millender vs. Max Griffin [Welterweight]
Dan Hooker vs. Gilbert Burns [Lightweight]

For Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier, this will go to the distance and if ever someone will be knocked out, I'm thinking it would be Daniel Cormier. I'll go for Max Holloway and Francis Ngannou. This guy (Francis Ngannou) will prove himself worthy for another shot at the title. So if he wins this one, Dana might give him another shot at Stipe Miocic's title that is if Stipe will retain his title against Cormier.

*Tokeweed I hope you don't mind me posting this ahead of you as I know you always post this kind of event to start the discussion.
2020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 13, 2018, 06:40:46 AM
Guys I've got a new interesting news that I've read on social media. What do you think if Anthony Davis will go to Golden State Warriors? they really do like to have a powerhouse, don't they?
Source: Anthony Davis Rumors: Warriors' Interest in Pelicans Star Remains After Ring

I have seen posts about this, but just ignored it with the thoughts that these are just a kind of joke, but it turns out to be a rumor already. Dang, GSW would be the first team to build a superstar roster soon lol. I suspect if they acquire AD, they will lose one or a couple of these guys : Iggy, Thompson, and Green.
The Golden State Warriors have a good line up now and there's no need to change or trade. They swept the NBA finals with the current roster that they have, so I don't think there's a reason for them to change it. Let the other teams trade or change their line up to match the current roster of GSW. Those 3 that you mentioned are there first before KD and when won the 2015 Finals championship.
