Yeah ive been watching for a week as my EOS invested melted in front of my eyes, how can anybody
be patient in such a situation? However theres no stable cryptocurrency now

The best advice in such situation is to stop for a while and have a break. Relax, free your brain, travel maybe. Trading is a complicated monotonous work, and when you are tired you begin making mistakes. Don't think about ejected profit, just hold you current crypto for a while and take care of you other things

I think while holding your coin if you still want to do more trade then educate yourself more. Do more research on graphs.
First try to assess the coins you hold. Do your coins have the potential to be big in the near future, if yes then hold your coins. If not then change it to btc or eth and hold it.

My advice is that if you own fundamentally strong altcoins hodl on to them. They will appreciate a lot in value when the bull run finally comes. You're not the only one who lost 50% of capital. I know people who lost close to 90%.. Just have a look at the charts and calm yourself down. There are longer and shorter bearish markets but the cryptocurrencies markets always recovered X times.. And personally I have said it many times that the technology behind these cryptos will change the world as we know it for a better, more convenient life.

Has there been anyone here that invested in altcoins not that long ago?  Example i put some altcoins that i considered buying in my phone app called blockfolio.  When i compare the prices of those coins like substratum, spectracoin and a few other coins... these coins are down at least 80 percent of its value.  Some coins are down 90% of its value.  How do people even handle this?  There would be no point of selling it right since if you lose 80 or 90% of the value, you might as well leave it there?


Also how is it even possible to make money at all when the market drops?  Because when btc drops, almost every coin drops.  So basically you are suppose to watch when the prices drop, then wait till to buy it?

Exactly! you cannot lose that much amount if you have the patience and at least have the knowledge with what you are doing specially when we do have a bloody market, there are lots of time when we do have a red market but some people are still earning from it since they are making red as an advantage to buy more.

I just suggest not trading. Think of being new to a job and compare after you've been there for a few years. Your understanding of the way everything work is much deeper. Day trading is similar, except that more knowledgeable people are always going to out smart you.

FUDS are already part of this market, whether we like it or not so if you just be easily swayed by these then you'll be a loser afterwards. Don't believe too easily from other people's opinion and instead you do your own diligent research. And also have trust on your coins that it will give you decent profit later on.

Yeah you right. if many people continue to panic selling of course the price will weaken and we will be more loss. right now I'm losing more than 60% because I've been holding my coin from january ago. we must be patient. for everyone goodness. I'm sure the price will go back up. if panic selling is no longer the case

Panic selling is not a good idea why? Because the market are in red blooded situation and losing 50% of your capital is a huge amount make sure you know the coin that you buy if this have a potential to grow all you can do if the market start to falling down is to wait dont do any wrong move that cause losing your money.

Probably the current situation on the crypto exchange markets is influenced from the world political events, summits, etc. Of course, when the prices are red, usually people are reclined to panic sell their crypto currencies. I think the current price levels are attractive to start buying or re-buying some promising coins which fallen very deep. The arbitrage trading is profitable at these times.

current movement in market in think influence by holder fear of the investors who heard the news of transfer 8k btc amount to huobi.they scared if they dont sell their bitcoin , their asset value decline sharply.

You started trading last May when it was a parabolic rise on the market for many coins and the whole market was booming until mid January this Year. I do not think Your loss is coming from that period. You have to stop trading immediately and analyse  and try to understand what happened?

Well right now my blackfoilio is in red and i almost lost the 30% of my capital but even it is happening to me i am just holding all of my coins  until the value will pump and my advice we just need to trust our coins and wait for a big pump.

For me it is normal that we will lost a big amount of money specially when the market is not in good condition but my advice is to just keep all of our coins and dont sell it with a low price, just hold our coins and we can surely be very profitable.

But we should be prepared for this situation, what are the options available to recover losses. Holding on to the coins and not sell until market starts to recover is just one of the remedy. Looking at the current market situation it may take time again for the price of BTC to reach $8,000 USD and its been over a month when we see BTC at $9,000 USD.
