Tonight the Bundesliga starts with the match between Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich. Werder Bremen had a bad performance last season. This will be a proving ground for Thomas Tuchel because starting this season he will fully handle Bayern Munich. Huge surprise yesterday night as Marseille was eliminated through penalties from Panathinaikos.Marseille had everything under control and was comfortably leading 2-0 while they committed a penalty in the 90+9 minute of the game which made the game go in additional time.I don't know if this was bad luck or deserved but for me it was mostly bad luck and underestimating the opponent,they thought they were already qualified when in fact they got to additional time and later to penalties which are a lottery and they are now out of the Champions League.
I was predict under 2.5 goals yesterday because based on the statistics Panathinaikos defensive lines were very solid that they were never conceded more than 2 goals in the last 10 matches besides that Marseille had a problem with their consistency which make me doubt Marseille can able to beat Panathinaikos but my predictions was missed that Marseille can able to win the match with slim score but unfortunately they were failed to qualified to group stage because Ioannidis was scored goal at the end of second half and it makes the match have to ended with penalty shotout and Panathinaikos is the next team who will advances to group stage and for Marseille unfortunately this season they have to playing at Europa league |
