2001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going to make mma predictions blog (for gamblers) on: March 04, 2023, 09:07:58 PM
Any update on the blog though? has it been created by the OP.

It's interesting to follow though and maybe see his prediction and perhaps follow some on them. The OP has history of big wins and losses as well and that's why his prediction could be a hit or miss. But still though, he might gain some followers in his blogs specially if he will have a good batting average for his MMA predictions.
Waiting as well for the update of OP but it looks like he is not active for almost a month now, maybe he’s too busy with his blog or didn’t push this one. Its good to read some opinions about MMA predictions because it can help you decide on where to place a bet and help you analyze the matches, if OP made a good profit in betting then it can be a big boost to his trust unfortunately his trust is already damage.

Red Trust could mean he is not pursuing this anymore as his very audience could be coming from this forum. But I must admit there are many gamblers that might just read his input to some interesting fights to see if they can make a bet.

Everyone has something to say to every fight but if a person could point out the advantages and someone can predict what will happen in the cage, it really is an interesting blog to read. Although a youtube vlog will be much better to watch.

2002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you feel when your government make BTC legal? on: March 04, 2023, 08:54:47 PM

It may have a big difference if my government considers BTC as legal tender, its already legal to use BTC here but the adoption is too slow I can only see 2 stores accepting BTC in my city. If it's the only reason that merchants will tend to accept BTC, then surely I would be happy to use my BTC to buy something from them.

Keeping your privacy is better than partying and announcing to the public that you are an investor makes you look rich target for criminals.
2003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 04, 2023, 08:27:57 PM

Most likely not. I could just continue betting and just enjoy the billion dollars I got than go through all the troubles of having a casino that might give me headaches. I'll just enjoy life and probably watch live boxing and NBA in the stadium.

Managing a casino must be tiresome due to the harsh competition but investing on it like becoming a partner might just be a better idea for me.
2004  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt. Gox will release bitcoin in march - what's next? on: March 04, 2023, 03:56:28 PM

With that much BTC to release, it's going to make this market plunge.
Of all time since 2014, why is 2023 a mandatory date for mtgox coins to be released while the coins are stuck on them for too long?
Who would coerce Mtgox to release those coins by the way and why are the coins not seized when its open season for seizing wealth right now. I doubt it will be released.
2005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins volatility pegg and unpegg can make profit too here is my plan on: March 04, 2023, 03:35:22 PM

I saw someone having that idea with stablecoin but it does need a huge amount of capital in doing it. What he was saying was that sometimes USDT drops at least $0.998. It's a very tiny difference but you can make some money if you also have a huge amount of capital for it.  Small profit but safer to do especially if you are unwilling to lose in BTCUSDT. Not entirely a get-rich-quick plan but I'm sure he is not just the only one who saw it.
2006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambler has 100% trust in each stake on: March 04, 2023, 03:17:22 PM
Not really give 100% trust but there may come a time when a team member got injured and might not be able to participate in the game. I'm not a football fan but it could be compared to NBA where some team members are very reliable but when they got injured, you'll see their defense fall apart.

But most of the time when a team is complete and as solid as they are, you can bet your $500 even when the money line is not very enticing.

2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 Oscar Awards betting and discussions on: March 03, 2023, 07:19:11 PM

Best actor and actress:

Fraser, Brendan is the easiest bet to go with 1.49
Cate Blanchett for the Movie TAR seems not Michelle Yeoh anymore that's leading.  1.79
It's a 2hour movie with less than 80% review. I have not seen it but it's nominated. I read the synopsis and the story isn't quite unique, it's the drama that counts for being the best in acting the roles though.
2008  Economy / Economics / Re: How we survive food shortages on: March 03, 2023, 07:01:36 PM

With just a backyard to grow food, we'll have trouble getting to be self-sufficient. We are yet not in a situation where we really need to plant just about anything in our backyard though.

When we are in that situation, however, an individual like ourselves who grows any veggies in our yard will be ransacked by those guys who are not gardening. Those guys pack together to raid just as we see in post-apocalyptic movies.
2009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 03, 2023, 06:30:04 PM
What about Mike Tyson's fight with Peter McNeeley after he was released from prison?
I bet Tyson has trained in prison all the time, while Jones trained with parties, hookers, alcohol and drugs. Peter McNeeley - good example. Lets compare him with Gane. Was McNeeley a champion when he fought Tyson? Was he even a number one contender for a title fight? Was he even a top3 that day? Tyson was 25 y.o. that day, Jones is 35 Cheesy At 25, I could go to gym, pump for hours, later go on disco, get wasted, next morning go to gym fresh and rested Cheesy At 35, I prefer home parties instead of discos Cheesy

Mike Tyson was a straight-up savage after getting out of prison. It's like he did not have anything to do in prison so he just worked out and lifted weights. He looked really jacked when he came out of the prison. And I remember his opponent actually was playing a little dirty. His opponent was headbutting him. And after that probably it was 10 seconds, Mike Tyson knocked his opponent.

A heavyweight Jon Jones is a scary kind of opponent that with one elbow could be lethal. He is the best and meanest fighter you can see it in their faceoff. The parties and hookers and years of inactivity may probably change Jon's jujitsu and wrestling though. He'd big already unlike in his previous fights and his skinny legs might easily be broken by a heavy leg kick of Gane. Jone's leg is more likely the primary target attack by Gane to immobilize Jones.

A party for Jones' comeback or a lesson learned at 35 that he can't be at prime all the time like Floyd.
2010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and education on: March 03, 2023, 05:56:09 PM

A trader from other markets who learns by reading the charts and indicators can go directly trade BTC without learning the basics of BTC but just using the exchange chart. Learning this from a beginner's view could be tedious but it can be done.

It is recommended to learn a little BTC though, just a bit to learn sending and receiving BTC to your wallet at least.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 02, 2023, 06:37:15 PM
^^ The result could be OKC win if SGA was around though. 6 points could be filled by SGA easily. I'm glad I listened to bet my money on the Lakers though and this is because we learned SGA is also not playing. But we'll see if they can win against Timber this time while Lebron is not around.
I'm going for Raptors and Mavericks. Any reason why no GSW?

KD is always been a good asset on whichever team he is with. He really did a great impression in his first game.
2012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people go into gambling? on: March 02, 2023, 06:01:00 PM
Money is usually the reason. Having the only money you have for example will make you wish you have more and gambling is the easiest way to go. Although for some of us who have been gambling already for a while and have developed the skills already, I guess it's for entertainment already even when some see it as an addiction also.

With access to the online casino these days using crypto, it's easiest by far as you said than going physically.
2013  Other / Off-topic / Re: John Fury didn't sign the contract but wants double payment from Jake Paul on: March 02, 2023, 04:39:21 PM

Both of them will not pay up. If Jake won, the Fury clan will also not give all to Jake. Theres the reason why they have not signed the contract.
True that this drama is yet not over. Since they already have fought, it would be easier for them to once again set up a ring for a rematch to maybe settle that doubled-up contract.

Could the verbal agreement be considered in court?
2014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jon Jones’ UFC 285 opponent Ciryl Gane joins board of MMA NFT game MetaFight on: March 02, 2023, 04:22:58 PM

I already lost interest in NFTs when the ones I have already lost their value since 2021. But Web3 though is getting more interesting because of this stuff.

It should be good, this is allowing the UFC athletes to make money without Dana getting too nosey about them. If they can wear something else in the game and earn thru it, why not. No harm in earning through Metfight. Metafight should not just limit these to UFC, they can go as well to KSW or PFL or in boxing too.

2015  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion and Trade? on: March 01, 2023, 08:13:12 PM

One thing that a person needs to realize so that he can control himself is that he can't hurry things to happen. There is indeed the need for a person to be patient otherwise he will tend to go to the futures market unprepared.

One good piece of advice is to watch the news like current war, global crisis, FED announcements, and crypto news as well especially halving which is important. You can never go wrong with what BTC will do after Halving.
2016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin? What's your percentage? on: March 01, 2023, 07:39:32 PM
If you have been in Bitcoin for over 4 years and have passed through bull and bear markets, you have tasted the benefits of Bitcoin already, I don't see anyone who had already gotten into this phase backing away from Bitcoin and facing fiat again. 100% immutable.

BTC is just more than a decade but once BTC has made one informed generation, the information will be passed on to the kids and to many generations to come.
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 01, 2023, 07:29:29 PM
Will OKC have a better chance this time against the Lakers now that Lebron is not playing?  Or will it still be the LAL still?
I have the feeling they will be disorganized because AD and Lebron are out in this match against Thunders. So tragic that is very timely where they needed the win.

If SGA is not going to be there as said on YouTubers, the Lakers might still be winning hopefully.
2018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 01, 2023, 06:31:10 PM
I think it is life and death when a professional fighter is in the ring. And at the moment when the blood supply to the brain is being stopped by another professional fighter, it is even hard to think about what the athletic commission thinks and what the rules are.

It's simple if the fighter has enough Fighting Spirit, he is not going to tap. But if he does not, or if he cannot bear the pain, he will tap. Another thing is, of course, a fighter is going to tap if his arm is going to be broken. It's better to lose this fight a little early which is inevitable and have better health to go into the next fight.

This morning, while surfing on the internet at work (really, who works at work, huh? Cheesy) I have found an interesting info. I was always curious, why some fighters tap almost immediately, while others prefer to get injured or fell asleep. My thought were that fighters have either huge balls, or prefer to lose like a true samurai - by dying. This might be fake, might be true, but if a fighter fell asleep during submission, athletic commission does not allow him to have a professional fight no sooner than in 6 months. So if some fighters expect to have next fight in less than 6 months, or be a replacement in main event, they tap.

What do you think about that?

When he is smart enough to feel the strength that he can't get out of the choking arms, he needs to tap. Refusing to give up will lead to unconsciousness that's why the referee is very attentive to watch it closely especially in guillotine choke or triangle choke when they can't see the hands of the fighter to determine whether he is still breathing.

6 months seem a very rough penalty though. It would be Ok if every fight they earn 6 digits but that's not possible for all.
2019  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic implications of a US-China-Taiwan conflict on: March 01, 2023, 06:10:32 PM

^ I remember a report the other day that an Iranian Navy ship docked in Brazil. They normally won't allow this and probably they will send a threatening warning to Brasil before any ship can dock in thier backyard. It's insulting to these countries when they hear Biden considered them to be their backyard. While NATO can just turn a country into a member of NATO that is so close to Russia and still have a military base in these countries.

What is astonishing though is that they are not offering peace even when it's obvious Ukraine is not winning. The life expectancy of the Ukrainian army in the field is averaging up to 4 hours and they die. They're lucky to live in thier 5th hour in the field according to a report.

Giving up the war in Ukraine will probably be the start of chaos in the China-Taiwan conflict. But this is madness already, China is more advanced in technology. And American companies are in China which is just as devastating to all economies, not just the US economy if they go to war with China.
2020  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawal small amount of BTC from Binance on: March 01, 2023, 04:25:14 PM
You can see complete information about withdrawal fees and minimum withdrawals at this link.
https://withdrawalfees.com/exchanges/binance

It is impossible to withdraw $ 20 because the minimum withdrawal is 0.001 BTC (not including fees) and you really have to add something like $ 20 in BTC again to be able to withdraw everything and calculate the fee that will be charged. The withdrawal fee on Binance is 0.0005 BTC or approx. $11.84. if you want to withdraw it in the form of Fiat you can immediately withdraw using P2P Services and there is a minimum order that must be fulfilled, because each P2P merchant has a different minimum order (according to their respective policies).

Merchants somehow set minimums which OP might not find someone who wants to buy BTC worth just $20 or if he does, the price could be lower than its value. It's worth the path if he just wanted to cash it out.

He probably just wants to clean out his Binance account but if it's just $20, I would suggest he just leave it there and wait for the price to go up at least he may double or triple the value at least.
