2001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 03, 2022, 07:11:11 AM
But if it's just for fun, using fake money can give a gambling experience.

I don't think if you are addicted to gambling, you are gambling for fun. Most people that are addicted to gambling they believe they are going to make a huge amount of money from money one day, if you are gambling for fun you can gamble with your real money but you will gamble with just little amount and also you will always know when to stop. The post is about people that are addicted to gambling and they want to stop gambling, they believe fake money will really be of help which I don't think so.

i also don't think using fake money will help these people with addiction habits. they are not here for fun but for the idea that they will hit big one day. this is why they are getting addicted to this game. if they do want to stop gambling, using fake money for me is not a solution. they should totally get out of this gambling system. haven't read any previous gambler who treated his gambling addiction by just using fake money.

at least fake money gambling games can lead someone not to gamble using fiat or crypto, although the level of desire for fun is different from real gambling but this can help a person to shift his focus and reduce the level of addiction. there is nothing wrong with diverting to counterfeit money gambling if you intend to escape the snare of addiction. I think your opinion is also right, there is nothing wrong with every member community who expresses their opinion.

For addicted gamblers it will not work, as above said they are playing to make money and not to have fun so gambling using fake money wont satisfy them. It will only work to gamblers playing for fun because they're not eager to earn huge and just want to play to entertain themselves.

Thus fake money apps are ideal for gamblers who are not addicted. For addicted gamblers that want to stop playing or overcome their gambling addiction, they need professional treatment and support of their family to stop their addiction.
2002  Economy / Gambling / Re: Alternatives to 1xbit on: July 03, 2022, 04:42:30 AM
Which casinos are overall loved around here?
Is this about sportsbook? If so I think Duelbits, sportbet.io and Stake are on the top. These casinos are popular here on the forum. Try to do a research to verify.

Which one is safe to deposit my money on?
Many casinos can be trusted. Just make sure that they're establish and no existing issues or scam accusations. But usually top casinos are the ones wherein your money is safe.

Which one is your personal favorite?
Rollbit, Duelbits, Roobet and livecasino.
2003  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | The Honest Online Casino | Hop In On The Action 🇦🇺 on: July 03, 2022, 03:45:41 AM
It is true that the amount of minimum withdrawal and deposit for this casino site is very cheap and it is suitable for Every small and neeb gamble for handle this price for play and learning casino. And it will help everyone to withdrawal any amount  coz the amount of withdrawal is very cheap on this site. I personally like this site
Same here. I like the fact that their minimum deposit/withdrawal is cheap that every average gamblers can afford. This is one of what I like on Roobet especially if I only have small capital to play. Though I dont stick in one casino, but still, this site is one thats in my list everytime im in the mood to gamble. Its a plus point also that I managed to win of some of their promotional contests, a reason to trust Roobet more.
2004  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos Vs Ethereum Casinos on: July 03, 2022, 01:39:59 AM
There is really no difference, actually major casinos already accept two main crypto currencies so what's the point really? I can go to any major gambling site and deposit with whatever major cryptocurrency I want.
Thats true. Often, established popular casinos are offering major currencies for their players, obviously Bitcoin and ETH are one of these options. As a gambler I prefer casinos offering not only Bitcoin or ETH, having many alts are much better because I can choose the coin I prefer to use that I think is convenient in my part. Usually our concern is about the fees thats why we have different preference what currency to use.
2005  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback 🔥 up to 20% rakeback 🚨 on: July 03, 2022, 01:11:38 AM

Congrats you're on top. But does it mean its already official or the result can change until the tournament is not over? I cant participate to this one because its about slot games, often im not lucky.
2006  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do we spot the crypto bottom? on: July 01, 2022, 01:14:03 AM
Its hard to know the exact bottom since we dont know what will exactly happen next. The price might crash further or bounce back. So those people who buy and then the price suddenly move upward is lucky because of the timing.

If you will wait for the bottom of this bearish season you might miss the opportunity to accumulate. So if you're planning to invest, buy at the price which you think is good for you then hold for long until the bull season.
2007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the story of my investment in Bitcoin on: July 01, 2022, 12:48:58 AM
I want to congratulate you for owning 1 BTC because its a milestone that not every bitcoiners can achieve. However, the way you accumulate your BTC by taking a loan is quite risky. Its not advisable to take loan to use for investment regardless of how good or profitable the investment is. Like what others have been said, you can buy little by little instead, using your own money.

But its been done already so I just hope everything will turn out well. It would be best now if you have a real job to earn stable income, it can help for you to pay your loan somehow or even the interest atleast, just incase. Because we cant predict how long it will take before this bearish season is completely over.
2008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: June 30, 2022, 01:19:38 PM
People are waiting to buy lower, but what if you're wrong and this is the bottom?
Well, we cant really say if the current price is the bottom. Thats why its important to have plan or set price on when to buy. In my case, as long as I can afford the price then I'll buy, it doesnt mean if its not the bottom, what matter is I bought it during bear season. The price will climb up in time thus we need to be patient so take advantage this season and fill your bags.
2009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana drop up to 5% on: June 30, 2022, 04:13:48 AM
should i buy this time or invest in other Crypto? is Solana good investment?
Solana is one of the coin that I bought during this season because I believe its worthy to include in my portfolio. So to answer your question if you should buy I can say it depends on your analysis. DYOR to find out because you'll going to invest your own money after all. The price is cheaper compared to before and we know its always a good time when the coins are decreasing further but still it depends on the specific coin that you'll going to buy.
2010  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Enter the market with a loss mindset~what you can afford to lose on: June 30, 2022, 02:55:10 AM
It's a good think if everyone will invest with the mindset of what they afford to lose. This means you can buy at any price without being scared if it will dip more or not.
Indeed. However you cant expect everyone to enter with that mindset. Probably many people decided to become a trader with an ultimate goal to be a huge gainer. That also include to use their savings not knowing the risk of losing it. If only traders follow the basic rule of not using the money that you cant afford to lose then it wont be hard to accept even we fail because sometimes losing is inevitable.

Anyway, we cant say if we already reach the top or the bottom of the price hence the decision is always up to us. If you think the price is decent enough to sell then dont hesitate. The same goes when the price is declining, buy as long as you're certain with the coin you choose.
2011  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 30, 2022, 02:32:19 AM

Good move. there is no worry for us because we have seen the history of last season . So who's panicking in times like these? they are the ones who follow the fomo and don't stick to their stand. I don't even wonder if bear season is coming again and this is the moment for us to buy cheap.
well I'm guessing the market will take some time to recover because we are very strong against weak hands. but isn't it hope that everyone wants to buy at the bottom and why fear still plagues their minds what are they waiting for. this week the btc price movement is still sideways and it looks like it will be very fast to reach the rising support point.
This only applies to people who have experienced it. When they have experienced a considerable decline, now it is not a worry for them because they know this is only temporary and remain confident that things will return to normal. But when you see now that there are indeed a lot of new people who are starting to follow this, it will be a different story because indirectly this is the first time they have experienced a big decline like this so panic is certain to occur and this is what makes many think that Crypto is something that not good and only detrimental.
Thats why its an advantage for old investors to have a bearish season because they know what strategy is best to apply in times the market is declining since they are already aware how it works. For new investors its quite normal for them to panic especially to those who engage themselves because of hype. But if you're a type of investor who are careful and taking time to learn before investing your hard-earned money, then its unlikely for you to be influence by FUD. Because you understand the flow and wise enough to think deeply on whats the best thing to do in times the market is in bearish.
2012  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back at 20K. Imagine who sold at 17.7K. on: June 29, 2022, 06:45:03 AM
Some people never learn. This is not the end of the world. BTC has the capacity to grow like 50% in 1 week so people should learn that every drama is temporarily in the crypto world. Poor naysayers. Poor Peter Schiff. Such unhappy people. All the gold still doesn't make them happy. Cheers to you all happy Bitcoiners Cool
Probably investors who sell at loss when the price plunged to $17k are now regretting their decision. Well, its already expected for some weak investors to panic sell because they're afraid of further losses. But as you have said, if these investors are aware of the history then they will keep holding and let this bearish season pass by. Unfortunately not all investors are able to understand how the market really works and one of the reason is lack of knowledge.

Thats why only investors who are knowledgeable about crypto can see the result of being firm to hold. Investors who dont panic sell and willing to wait can be a huge gainer once the bullish season return again.
2013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: June 29, 2022, 01:34:46 AM
Gambling with fake money won't give the satisfaction you get from betting with real money because you're not taking a risk and you know you are not winning or losing in the real sense. It can't be called gambling if there is no possibility of a true win or loss. I don't think anyone who enjoys gambling would patronize those apps.
Thats true. Its not the same if you use real money. However this can be helpful to those gamblers who cant refrain themselves from playing but afraid to lose their money or should I say doesnt have money at all to gamble. Using fake money might not be enough to satisfy ourselves but still its a good alternative for gamblers.
2014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on how I controlled my Gambling addiction. on: June 29, 2022, 01:20:17 AM
These suggestions are only possible for gamblers who are really determine to overcome their gambling addiction and stop for good.

I think relocating to another area away to temptation is the best thing to do. Much better if the place has no internet access so you can enjoy the place and not thinking about gambling. A place like farm or near the beach can help you unwind. Its like a temporary vacation, and you'll be back to reality (working, socialize with other people) once you get over your addiction.
2015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: June 28, 2022, 03:38:55 AM
Take Bitcoin as a long term investment and just forget it like it’s in a long-term investment account. Don’t let your emotions get too much into it else you might make the wrong decision and sell at the wrong time.
Thats right. If you able to do this when you invest in crypto, there's a high chance to gain once the market turn bullish. It might take months or years but its worth it. However, its not easy as it seems especially for investors who are relying on their investment. Though we often say dont invest what you cant afford to lose or the money meant for important things, some investors are still not following this. The reason why they cant hold for long and selling at the wrong time.

So before investing make sure that you know what you are getting into. Because it takes a lot of guts and patience to be a huge gainer in crypto.
2016  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 28, 2022, 01:21:27 AM
I'd rather play at a casino with no license and a 5 year history without problems than a new book with a license. Having a license is no big deal. Giving out your name, address, phone number, passport and selfie can be a big deal.
Well, it takes time to build a good reputation. Having a license doesnt guarantee that casinos can be trusted and unlikely to turn shady as time goes by. Its just one of the criteria in choosing where casinos to play.

Thats why its a must to conduct a research on where casino to play. Its a big deal to give out your personal information since worse scenario can happen. Thus we need to make sure that the casino is trusted by many gamblers. Its a plus point if this particular casino is existing for years already and has no bad record.
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 28, 2022, 01:02:37 AM
He enjoyed using the money disregarding what will be the consequences of it. That guy should learn his lesson.
Indeed. Its a huge amount accidentally sent to his bank account, he's aware its not his money but still use it to gamble as if its his own. Instead of coordinating to the bank he gambled it away.

Now, even he return the money, it doesnt mean he's a good guy. Its his responsibility and he should face the consequence of his action.
2018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful buying alts right now on: June 27, 2022, 06:31:58 AM
To invest in crypto you have to choose a specific time and you have to choose the right token.
And that time is now wherein the market is bearish. Coins are cheaper compared to the price before. Though we cant say how long this bear market will last, but certainly its the time to buy top coins. Its way safer to buy top coins because they're unlikely to be delisted on exchanges and will recover if the market turn better. Its because this situation also happened before and these coins who are existing for years already, managed to survive the bear season.
2019  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 27, 2022, 06:19:14 AM
If people want to think smart, then the theory of buying cheap and selling high prices must be applied, when compared to ATH, of course the price of bitcoin is currently dropping more than 65% so that the first theory of buying cheap has been fulfilled, and the next thing is to wait for the moment when the price is expensive so that can sell with profit.
Thats true. The best time to fill our bags are during market crash, however weak investors are hesitating to buy because of their worries that it might drop further and they will loss their capital. Hence some investors prefer to buy when the market is starting to recover and I think its understandable.

But the current price is quite cheap and its a chance to take advantage. If you know the history of Bitcoin then you'll understand that situation like this is just temporary and its a good opportunity for investors to engage themselves.
2020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you trust a gambler with your money/savings? on: June 27, 2022, 02:24:10 AM
- Are gamblers eligible to hold financial positions?
It depends. There are gamblers who can control themselves and knows their limit. Yes if you're a kind of gambler who have discipline and you know when to stop and that includes not using the money that is not your own. But if we based it in your friend's story and similar cases then No.

- Do problem gamblers deserve a second chance to hold a financial position?
Addicted gamblers deserves a second chance if you see that he/she truly change. However, to not repeat the same mistakes again its better not to entrust a financial position to a gambler who has history of being addicted.
