Well, see the idea behind gambling being addicting isn't the game itself, nor the idea of "being able to use money" aspect, but rather the fact that if they win, they get money. REAL money they can use and pay for stuff outside.

I honestly would just say to a person getting addicted is to spend that money elsewhere instead and not for anything good like donations or whatnot, but rather to hobbies that they can enjoy. If ever there is a Fake money gambling apps,  there is a big reason why the owner of that apps has been created, it could be a trap for the new investors who will get attempt to download it and try to play it. In that way for sure the victims will decide to invest even there is a condition in the Fake gambling apps. I guess you get what I mean.

If it is fake then obviously, every is going to be fake as well, the experience the money etc. So it's not a better alternative for gamblers to spent their time as if trying to heal themselves from gambling. But they know it's not going to work, maybe they can used this apps to just pass their time. But it won't help them to completely stop from gambling.
