If NVC instead LTC? It is real? We are trying to make it real. The test was unsuccessful because diff only reached 1 instead of 5, we need other diff to try the merge else hashes wont be passed.

if he mines all current blocks the say i implement a fix for this coin, traded volumes may go up as people regain interest....guess who'll be holding the most? most likely because it is on the larger exchanges it will rise the way FTC rose when people pumped. but the real key to a plan working is getting the exchanges to update to your version of the client, agreeing on which block to use as last checkpoint.

I've been asked to explain why i did not implement some of the changes. After watching how other currencies were fairing i realised a two minute block target would be more attractive to miner yet still able to control the orphan rate. With coinchoose on the loose 4 hour retarget became impractical since miners would join us when we are at the top, raise difficulty then leave us with lower profitability and higher difficulty. After the Alpha release (it never went public) the difficulty coupled with the changes in retarget proved to work against the small mining power individuals had so we had to lower it a bit. Recent trends have shown that although sha 256 is asic dominated it is still a viable algo, let alone scrypt. The release of Yacoin granted cpu users a platform, but that was eroded quickly by people paying for amazon instances and a few botnets. We chose the usual scrypt after realising the changes we had made would roughly be sufficient to encourage long term mining instead of flash mining. Block reward Proportionality was cut out after we saw the huge fiasco at Elacoin, it was an idea but we realised it's implementation had unexpected results and chose not to test the waters. The King block idea was great so we still update checkpoints but the value of the block remains the same, this is after we also saw another fiasco at Lucky coin.
The testnet is being run while cut off from the web, here we've already begun testing some of the new ideas. Most altcoins wait for an attack on the network or something to go wrong to implement fixes. Also most major changes are made after Bitcoin does something then litecoin, but of late most would agree that maitanance on those cryptos has been lagging behind. We will be attempting to move away from that trend, we study our code and our enviroment and try to see problems as they arise hoping to fix them before they become an issue. The mobile wallet was completed and i have sent a copy to the guy who made the one for bitcoin for his assistance in making it more secure. The issue most are worried about is the way android has been compromised so many times that it would be impractical to store your coins on your phone or tablet. We'll try find a way, it's our duty.
I'd like to thank those who have been offering support and donating to help with the bounties and giveaways, it is much appreciated. As for going to market, i believe we will be registered soon since we are the most loyaly active group amongst the new crop of coins, and because we didn't mine half the total cap in one day, i'm sure our merits speak for themselves. As for Trucoin, he recently scammed me and i have reported him to the moderators, his behavior is appalling.

The Rackmount 8 looks interesting, but I don't see any price anywhere? EDIT: Found the Rackmount 16 online, and it costs $6,974.07 Not really worth it IMHO. true, way too much.

it has potential but since it's been ignored by exchanges, interest is waning.

wait so someone has actually pointed their hardware at it

It's not easy task You can try rollback the changes and compile and run, to see if have these errors. Then add the set of changes, one by one, when adding each one, compile & run, to see if have these errors. This will help you identify which step you make a mistake. Then trying to correct it. I'll go sleep now ... thank you, goodnight

modifying code is ok i guess but the main issue that is rendering all our efforts is that all these alts we've made are not getting any exposure and use in the real world. Maybe if you pick up an existing coin and try push it to the forefront and make it popular like bitcoin, that will increase it's value and uses. ergo you benefit big time... if we hadn't traded in our LTC for useless alts, it wouldn't be plunging like this.

how to tweak for onecoin?
I found it needs some work for onecoin, onecoin uses salsa mixing not chacha mixing. Hash function is same both are keccak-512. so is it feasible or maybe not worth the effort? It's of course feasible. I just hope there're some one else can hack it if he's interested. Because my kernel is presented in a very clear way. Just replace the chacha core with the salsa core, I think just that easy. After that, the Nfactor calculation needs to be changed also. Because I don't have any onecoin position, I don't really have intention to do that. i'll give it a crack, any pointers on where to look? CL kernel file: scrypt-chacha.cl, find the function `static void chacha_core(uint4 state[4])`, trying to replace it with the function `static void salsa_core_basic(uint32_t state[16])` from file scrypt-jane\code\scrypt-jane-mix_salsa.h scrypt.c, driver-opencl.c: GetNfactor(unsigned int nTimestamp), change to the function in onecoin. I think basically these two places, other parameter to the scrypt hash seems to be the same like the rfactor, pfactor both are 0. ok i got the first part and third part done but i cant find the function GetNfactor(unsigned int nTimestamp) in scrypt.c (onecoin)

thanks a lot, never messed with cgminer before, i'll tell you if i'm succesful and if i mine a few coin i'll throw some your way.
