2001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why 1 BTC is becoming harder to owned??? on: August 16, 2017, 11:01:14 AM
i fear someday OP said will happened that 1 btc will very expensive and we cannot owned at least half of bitcoin but i think currently is not too late that save small amount gradually everyday for our future and in due time if bitcoin reach to the highest price at least we already have it
That's righ, just after 4 months I have sold my Bitcoin, in present use this money for buy back again Bitcoin, I just can buy 1/3 amount I sold in 4 months ago. LOL  Grin

Yes, that is what I was saying.
I used to buy BTC2-3 a month and yet I can't even buy one a month.
And the hardest thing is, I recently sold about 90% of my bitcoin to settle something.
Now I want to buy bitcoins and I can't even buy half of the bitcoins I've sold in the market.
What a drama??? Now, my head is spinning every time I looked at the latest bitcoin price.
2002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin? on: August 15, 2017, 10:16:22 PM
If you replace "the FBI" with "the Government" then yes, it is quite possible that government agencies learned about Bitcoin's potential in the past.
And since that time decided to buy a significant number of coins, just in case Bitcoin will become a real big thing in the future (when 1 BTC will be worth 1 million USD or more in next 20 years).
However, this whole discussion is nothing but one big conspiracy theory as there is no proof to back it up.

U.S Government first underestimate the power of bitcoins. Later on, when the silk road was invented then they saw the full potential of bitcoin. And understands he who controls the bitcoin will control the financial world in the future. then they started digging for information about bitcoins and they pretty much got everyone in the circle i guess and the took over from there.

2003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin? on: August 15, 2017, 09:02:01 PM
Do you believe the FBI holds the biggest number of bitcoin?

How would we know?  How certain are they?  We can't tell because nobody/no one would say how many bitcoins he/she has on his/her hands Tongue

Indeed, it seems the U.S Government now running the show Smiley
I don't think U.S will just sit back and watch the show rather jump in.
Bitcoin is spiking since January, the time President TRUMP took the office.
I was curious though, I often ask myself who are the guys that are really pumping money in the bitcoin in the recent months, perhaps is .... Smiley
The first question we have to ask ourselves why did "Satoshi" left bitcoin??? Perhaps, the cowboys has taken over Grin
These are just my thoughts and nothing more.
2004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: August 15, 2017, 09:10:34 AM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.

Sorry dude, not everybody buy or even use drugs here. Bitcoin is not made to buy drugs, instead it was invented to reshape the financial world and help people take control of their money unlike banks that tend to take control over every penny you gets. Bitcoin is change for the world, something that bring back power to the people, not something that you may use only to buy something illegal. Grin
2005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the future of bitcoin will look like on: August 15, 2017, 08:42:34 AM
I made a video trying to show what the future of bitcoin will look like.
Since the altcoin market in totally blowing up upwards, I'm getting a bit scared that it will go down again soon. It's not a healthy growth, is it?
So, for me a safe harbour of wealth and stability is bitcoin, that's why I keep up the weight at ~30% in my portfolio.
Do you guys agree on how the future will look like? Any remarks? I tried to be as objective as possible.

Cheers,

The future for bitcoin is looking brighter everyday as it increases in value everyday. More people are now looking for ways to invest bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as well, because they see the value in it. The more people joined the bitcoin and other cryptocurrency ecosystem the more valuable it would be and the more profit for bitcoin holders, miners and traders and so on... the list goes on Smiley
2006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is becoming currency for rich dudes, why so fast??? on: August 15, 2017, 08:27:54 AM
Wow, bitcoin price is increasing everyday at lightening speed!

Are you not afraid someday bitcoin will become currency only for the rich dudes?

I know we all want to buy and save more bitcoins, but the way bitcoin price is going are we really going to keep up?

What do you think, guys?

I think that basically you have no clue what bitcoin is nor how it works.

Seven years ago you had 100$ , you could buy 100$ worth of bitcoin.
Nowadays, you have 100$ , you can buy 100$ worth of bitcoin.
Seven year in the future, you will have 100$ and you might be able to buy 100$ worth of bitcoin. (if the dollar won;t be garbage by that time).
So, Problems?

You think that if you own 2 million doge coins they are worth more than 1 btc just because "it's much wow more coins"?

Easy fellas, no disrespect but I was in the bitcoin ecosystem since Feb. 2013... I know people can own fractions of bitcoin like Satoshis (0.000055). Sometimes you gotta throw some questions to people around and hear their answers. For me, I want to own bitcoin in pieces like BTC1 BTC2 BTC10 because I'm planing on becoming BTC millionaire in 10 years to come, dudes Grin
2007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: August 15, 2017, 08:12:36 AM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is decentralized, fast, easy, and more secure. People are using bitcoin because they see value in it. Bitcoin tend be more flexible online compared to traditional paper currency or any given payment system like PayPal, Payza, WebMoney or any other payment processor out there.
2008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Why owning 1 BTC becomes harder everyday??? on: August 15, 2017, 08:06:26 AM

I know we all want to buy and save more bitcoins in pieces, but the way bitcoin price is going are we really going to keep up?

Edit: I'm talking about owning BTC1 or BTC2... I know people can buy satoshis and save in their wallets.

What do you think, guys?
2009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NY Government Employee Fined for Mining Bitcoin at Work on: August 14, 2017, 11:31:34 AM
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/government-employee-fined-after-getting-caught-mining-bitcoin-at-work/

Quote
According to a recently published disposition, a computer systems manager at New York City’s Department of Education (DOE), named Vladimir Ilyayev, was fined after getting caught using the DOE’s computers to mine bitcoin.

According to reports, Vladimir Ilyayev has been working at the DOE for over a decade and, after getting caught, wasn’t fired, but got a fine of four vacation days, worth an estimated $611, by the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board (COIB).

The employee installed a bitcoin mining program on the DOE’s computers that ran at night, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. This went on for an entire month in 2014, before he got caught by the DOE’s Division of Instructional and Information Technology.

However, this wasn’t the first time Vladimir Ilyayev attempted to use the DOE’s computer to mine bitcoin. According to the disposition, he made “five or six” attempts to install the bitcoin mining program, and in each one of them he was “thwarted by the DOE security software.” Since he didn’t give up, he eventually managed to bypass security protocols for a month.

Four vacation days is a pretty low fine, and I expect he thinks it was all well worth the hassle.

Lol Smiley this is interesting and a welcome development to bitcoiners all over the world. This is a sign that shows bitcoin will soon go mainstream and get bigger than PayPal and all the credit cards companies. The way i see it, everyday we are making new steps forward toward the bitcoin promised land. Bitcoin is making new headlines everyday and many people are yet to know about the latest technology called bitcoin and very soon they will start coming and knocking our doors trying to buy some bitcoins from us. So guys, my advice here is hold on your bitcoins for now every soon we will be on the rocket to moon Smiley and bitcoin is our golden ticket, trust! Elon Musk is leaving this planet very soon and we don't wanna be left behind Grin
2010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 14, 2017, 10:59:20 AM
what do you think about this topic?

No, you got it all wrong! Bitcoin is digital currency in "layman's language" Bitcoin is fully decentralized and acceptable worldwide. Bitcoin gives you the advantage of taking control over your money with strong security and privacy, unlike traditional banks that controls everything and closes at 05:00pm. Bitcoin payment system is open everyday 24/7 so no one is closing at 5pm and you are the one in total of your money/assets every time. What makes bitcoin different from traditional paper currency is "total freedom and control" which is what people wants. Some people look at bitcoin as a get rich scheme, but bitcoin is the solution to our banking problems that we use to have everyday.
2011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BTC on: August 14, 2017, 10:40:23 AM
Hello!

I'm not new to Bitcoin I've been using it since 2015 as a wallet since it has no limitations.
After the new record of BTC price I'm really confused, It increased about $1k in less than 1 month which seems suspicious.
I'm thinking of investing some money on BTC and hold them for at least 3 years or more.
But is it a good idea? have any of you made good profit with holding BTC?
Like tell me what do you think of the future of BTC rates, how high could it reach?

with my best regards..

The future of bitcoin is looking brighter for now as more and more people are investing in to bitcoin because it's the best asset there is to invest nowadays. Bitcoin payment system is working with the latest core upgrades which handles transaction much more faster than before. People are starting to see the advantage and potential of bitcoin which is for sure the currency of the future, you should invest in bitcoin now before the price goes higher because there is no stopping it from reaching it unexpected destination. Bitcoin may worth up to $5000, $10,000, some analysts say bitcoin may worth over a million dollar in years to come. Smiley
2012  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC - Where to buy? on: August 13, 2017, 04:53:25 PM
Why using Loacalbitcoin when there is a dozen reputed websites where you can buy Bitcoin with not a lot of personal pieces of information to give (or none). I would prefer to give my personal ID to an exchange instead to someone on LocalBitcoin that you don't even know. On top of that, you buy at a higher rate? For example on Kraken you can make a bank deposit and buy bitcoin without giving your ID card, by just giving your first name, last name, date of birth and phone number

You should try VirWox, if the Kraken, CoinBase and Luno are asking for more information. For me, I don't think these sites are asking for too much information. Sometimes, they got scammed too so that's one of the major reasons why they ask for personal information because scammers can never reveal their truth identity Grin
2013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest concerns surrounding bitcoin? on: August 13, 2017, 04:15:04 PM
Questions for you...

I would have to say for me the biggest concerns for bitcoin would be..

1. The Darkweb gets shutdown or takes another hit. IMO the Darkweb/illegal activity plays a huge role in the success and failure of bitcoin.
How does the Darkweb shutting down impact Bitcoin? Bitcoin operates in the light, out int he open. The darkweb has no consequence on Bitcoin's future.

2. Banks getting involved. If Banks are losing out on money or think bitcoin is taking money out of their pocket they could create a mess for bitcoin.
Banks are already involved. So in what way do you believe bank's involvement would be crossing the line? Banks invest in Bitcoin. Banks are exploring the blockchain. Banks are trying to use blockchain technology for their benefit. None of this is nefarious or threatens Bitcoin.

3. The richest of the rich will own most bitcoins. The rich usually make money from the middle/lower class, if they own most they will be no profits for them and bitcoin become obsolete.
What happens when those that own the most bitcoin (because they acquired early on) become the riches of the rich...will they also be damned by you? Will they also be a curse to Bitcoin? How do you regulate the ownership of bitcoin across the world? Why would you want to?

The biggest concern I see is Bitcoin being perceived as a threat by country and business leaders. The most powerful among us will not allow a threat to take their power away. They won't allow it without a fight. And when those people have the power they can choose to outlaw Bitcoin simply because they think it's a threat.

As I mentioned I newer to the bitcoin world.

1. I don't actually have any evidence that the darkweb is directly linked to bitcoin but from what I've read and heard a good percentage of the darkweb transactions are made with bitcoin. So I was thinking it could affect bitcoin if it was taken down.

2. Learn something new everyday, I don't know banks invested in bitcoin. Which bank has the largest investment in bitcoin or is that information not public?

3. Those that own a good percent of bitcoin because they bought early is probably not that many people. (I don't have any data to support that, just opinion). Also they will not be dammed by me. I don't think anyone should control who owns what/how many bitcoins, once again in my opinion I don't think it's good for the investors of bitcoin for a small percent to own a good majority of anything.

Thanks for all you're responses, much appreciated

Bitcoin is King #BiK

My advice to you is you should go back and read the history of bitcoin first. Then you'll fully understand what happened to bitcoin in past. You should go and learn more about what is bitcoin, how bitcoin and blockchain works, and then you may see a road-map of bitcoin in the future because what you've listed above are baseless in regards to bitcoin. The only thing that you may concern about bitcoin is the price volatility and that also seems to be stable for now. Smiley
2014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: August 13, 2017, 03:47:21 PM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?

No doubt bitcoin is the new currency and the currency for the future as well.

Bitcoin is about to change the whole financial world because more people are starting to believe in it despite the price volatility.

Bitcoin is decentralized, very soon it will change how people use money from "paper currency" to digital currency which is true cashless economy.
2015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: August 13, 2017, 03:36:12 PM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

Bitcoin is a chance and opportunity for guys like me "nerds". I even save bitcoins for my investment!

Bitcoin gave us the opportunity to use your computers to mine bitcoins in the early days to make a living.

Bitcoin also help us a lot when it comes to holding coins and selling them on exchange platforms to make some huge profits.

I like bitcoin a lot because is the revolutionary currency that you can use to buy things and is acceptable worldwide, no boundires, no borders.

What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink

The major problem with bitcoin market nowadays is the price volatility.

A lot of people want to invest in bitcoin but they are not sure whether to invest or not because of the price volatility issue.

2020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: August 10, 2017, 11:11:54 PM
I keep my bitcoin in two online bitcoin wallets; Xapo & Blockchain.info

They are very powerful, highly secure, and user friendly as well. I like them both because of ease access to my wallet whenever I want to buy something with bitcoins online.
