Bitcoin is decentralized, fast, easy, and more secure. People are using bitcoin because they see value in it. Bitcoin tend be more flexible online compared to traditional paper currency or any given payment system like PayPal, Payza, WebMoney or any other payment processor out there.

Bitcoin is decentralized and secure. No one owns it and that's its greatest feature. It was not meant to be a store of wealth or just an asset. It was meant to kill Visa and Mastercard, to put power back in the hands of the people. To eliminate the third party trust system.

 Segwit does not make Bitcoin able to do what is meant to do. So We can either come up with a plan to make Bitcoin instant and able to handle millions of transactions a minute or find an altcoin that can work alongside Bitcoin to handle payments. The problem is, if say Dash is used to handle payments and Bitcoin is used as an asset and money transfer, Bitcoin becomes obsolete. Dash can do all of that. Unfortunately, Segwit has not made Bitcoin the better of the coins in most cases. It's also still losing decentralization quickly. But then again, all ASIC mined coins are.

People should use bitcoin because it is anonymous, meaning to say their transactions are kept in private--without their identities necessarily attached to them. Aside from that, anywhere you go in the world for as long as bitcoin is present, it remains to be bitcoin and thus accepted. Not like fiat that you need to look for some money exchanger first before you can transact with their local stores.

I think using bitcoin is not necessity, but for those who have advanced thinking certainly use bitcoin and not just for payment transactions but for businesses such as investment and trading.

Because we like to be anonymous in every transaction, this will make it impossible for banks to control our assets. Not only that, the number of Bitcoins is limited and if that limit is reached, Bitcoin prices will rise sharply and definitely be able to purchase high value assets.

Perhaps they should increase the price of bitcoin more. Why?
The money they will be sending will be easily sent thru online rather than using armored cars which are always in the brink of being stolen.

Pretty short! I am of the opinion that bitcoins provide fast and quick transactions. With the increase in its demand and value, Bitcoins will be used more in future than fiat at least in developed countries like Uber has already started accepting payments in BTC. I think BTC will exist forever now.
