20001  Economy / Lending / Re: 420's Non-Ponzi Interest Bearing Accounts & Options on: February 20, 2013, 11:49:10 PM
Even though the title says non-ponzi, this is cleary a ponzi.  Shocking.   Roll Eyes

Unless the OP can show how he plans to make a profit at those incredible interest rates....

Seems more likely he will wait until he has the largest amount of bitcoins possible, and just disappear.
20002  Economy / Lending / Re: $1000-2000 of BTC Loan on: February 20, 2013, 01:35:51 AM
"What are your credentials, references and what collateral are you offering" - What sort of things would help put ones mind at ease?

For collateral, you would have to send something to the lender that can be sold easily for at least $1,200 for every $1,000 you want to borrow.  Then it gets sent back to you when you repay the loan.

You're not going to get a loan any other way.
20003  Economy / Lending / Re: Want to try mining with ASIC Mini single need about half the funds on: February 19, 2013, 02:23:32 AM
How about a 4g ipod and foxconn 330i netbox with 256 hard drive 2g of ram.

It needs to be something that a person can easily sell for at least $375.
20004  Economy / Lending / Re: Want to try mining with ASIC Mini single need about half the funds on: February 19, 2013, 01:57:47 AM
What are you offering for collateral?

20005  Other / Off-topic / Re: UFOs have landed in my hometown !!! LOL will aliens accept bitcoins? on: February 17, 2013, 10:39:52 PM
Timezone probably.

My relatives told me that they were warned in advance about this and that military shot down a fairly large meteor and it is just what remains of it falling down.

Rumors.  We don't have that kind of technology yet.
20006  Other / Off-topic / Re: Concerned about accounts at Coinbase... on: February 17, 2013, 10:32:25 PM
Why would you send ANY coins to a beta website?
20007  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 5 btc loan request - will repay 8 btc in 4 days. on: February 17, 2013, 10:08:02 PM

Hmmm, you must not be aware that 5btc is worth actual cash then.

This is how cults start.
20009  Economy / Lending / Re: WANT 13,500 BTC BUSINESS LOAN on: February 10, 2013, 12:52:41 AM
I don't trust banks.

Why?  They make you pay the money back?   Roll Eyes
20010  Economy / Lending / Re: [NEED LOAN] 14BTC -> 15 BTC Return [10DAYS] on: February 09, 2013, 11:58:42 PM
I might be able to sent a sony TV if the someone who will lend me bitcoins lives in the US.
But furthermore I don't think I have much other things to send.

How much is the shipping cost to Europe?
Though, starting bed was 1btc, so I'm going to call my offer from 1,5 to 1 for now.

Koelen3.

If you live in Europe, why would you ship to someone in the US?

With the way BTC is rising, anyone who takes collateral would probably set a price of $25/BTC (I would).  That means you have to give up something the loaner can sell for $375, and not something you think is worth $375.

If you don't have collateral, you're not going to get a loan.  It's much more probable you will just disappear with the coins.
20011  Economy / Lending / Re: [NEED LOAN] 14BTC -> 15 BTC Return [10DAYS] on: February 09, 2013, 05:28:23 PM
Lol wtf, I didn't lend from you.
And I'm still looking for a lend people.
BTW I am no longer interested in making this loan.

I have decided that going forward I am never going to lend to anyone that does not know the difference between and how to properly use the words "lend" and "borrow".

Just a personal pet peeve.

Ah well, nvm.
Not because my English is not that good you need to homd off lol.

I need this loan for a purchase I need to make.
I need to buy it for 15BTC and I get 18BTC from it.
It's quick and the buyer will release his coins after 5 days, so I can pay you.

This is the fourth time someone has asked - WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR COLLATERAL?

If you can't answer that then just shut up; no one will loan to you.
20012  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: February 09, 2013, 04:57:30 AM
One thing I always ask for before lending coins is a unique picture.

After I get the documents with the person's picture and address, I ask for a photo of them standing in front of a landmark near their home.  If you've bought your documents online, you can't produce this.

BTCJam should add this in, although it would require more admin work.
20013  Economy / Lending / Re: [NEED LOAN] 14BTC -> 15 BTC Return [10DAYS] on: February 09, 2013, 03:11:44 AM
This will be my first loan sir.
I can provide you with all my information.
I can keep you updated each day how the progress is going.

What do you have for collateral?
20014  Economy / Lending / Re: Any one want to loan me 50 btc @ 10 % intrest on: February 07, 2013, 06:51:50 PM
Not a scam dude just extremely desperate, as far as getting a job at mcdonalds goes they don't hire felons.

http://www.ranker.com/list/list-of-companies-that-hire-felons/business-and-company-info

McDonalds is ranked #17 on that list as a company that DOES hire felons.

I agree with bo2573 - you are not desperate (you can have a job TODAY) - you're just looking for free cash.  (Hope that comment gave you a "good laugh".)
20015  Economy / Lending / Re: New Lending Platform, more lender control. on: February 07, 2013, 03:13:11 PM
WoT can be easily manipulated.   Undecided
20016  Economy / Lending / Re: Any one want to loan me 50 btc @ 10 % intrest on: February 07, 2013, 02:27:29 PM
I know I am going to catch flak for posting this, however I am desperate. I was recently released from jail on a marijuana distribution charge, the police litteraly took everything from me. I need money to get a online business venture going, to start generating some income. The only thing I own is a 97 dodge dakota, which is useless to me at this point since i have lost my license due to the legal ramifications due to my charges.
I am doing odd jobs and seeking full time employment. I have tried getting a title loan which was unsuccessful because of my lack of employment. I can provide copy's of my passport/birth certificate, or any other state Id that you would require. I also can put my truck up as collateral.
Ive been reading alot of posts on other people asking for loans trying to prove their worth. I understand i am a "noob"  with zero credibillity, i will do anything that you would require me to. Up until this point I have remained off the grid, due to the fact i was selling illegal commodity's. A bank loan is completely out of the question, since i have no credit. For the past several years i have paid everything in cash and have no verifiable documentation on banking history so I doubt a bank would give me loan. Part of the money would go to getting my sr22 insurance so i can get my occupational license to help enhance my chances of getting a job. The remaining bit coins would go into a internet venture i would rather not discuss. If anyone is willing to take a chance and help me out i would be grateful. I would appreciate any positive advice or feedback as well.   Negative comments and slamming are welcomed as well, as i am sure there will be plenty and could use a good laugh at the moment.

You can get a job at McDonalds or another fast food restaurant TODAY, if you are really desperate.

And youtube violate the uploaders' license by putting up their crap on an uploaders youtube video without their permission.

Without their permission?  They agree to the terms when they upload.

If you're really serious about the other questions, which i'm sure you're not and just being a troll, pm me and well chat.

Actually, his questions are valid and I'm sure anyone who is interested in this idea will want the answers at all.

- You would need to provide some guarantee (and not just your words) that you will return the equipment.  A lien on property perhaps?
- You would need to produce proof of insurance covering the third party equipment from theft and loss.
- You would need to show you have adequate power and cooling to handle the equipment.

If you are not willing to provide this to the community (instead of just a PM - odd) then no one should take your offer seriously.
20019  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for 350-400 btc loan on: February 05, 2013, 06:41:49 PM
Why don't you just go to a bank, if you need a usd based loan?

A bank would make him pay it back.
20020  Economy / Lending / Re: 4 Btc loan on: February 05, 2013, 06:33:51 PM
Thanks also that $50 is if you catch it in the first 2 days. The website you just posted says that after 2 days you are liable for up to $600.
All discussion of id theft liability aside would a trusted member be able if they so desired to take my btcjam account as collateral?

Dude, practice what you preach.
