2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why going for 1.02 odds and below on: September 18, 2022, 12:22:27 AM
~snip~

What is your opinion?

The odds really tend to be "ridiculously" low when there are very high probabilities of a certain outcome occurring.
I usually place my bets well in advance of the start of the game, and I rarely change them as the game progresses.
Betting systems will always try to protect themselves from losses when they notice that there are high chances of a certain outcome happening.
Something that may seem little to us (punters) is a voluminous value multiplied by the thousands of bets made.
2022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 18, 2022, 12:16:39 AM
According to rumours, there are four teams after Jude Bellingham now. These teams are Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

To be more realistic, I'd eliminate Chelsea and Manchester United options for him. Because Chelsea aren't having good days and Manchester United aren't in the Champions League for now also. On the other hand Manchester United have a little advantage in this as well. Because they have Sancho who might convince Bellingham to come here. But if I were in Bellingham's place I'd choose Real Madrid or Liverpool. They are winner teams unlike Chelsea and Manchester United in the recent years. He can develop his skills and shine more at those teams.

I feel like Bellingham will choose Real Madrid. It's like a dream for most of young and skillful players to play for Real Madrid in some part of their careers.
So far there have been a number of rich teams interested in signing Jude Bellingham, so there is a possibility of another potential record high price set by Dortmund like Haaland price tag happen again later in winter market transfer, but despite all the rumors about Bellingham, frankly I haven't hear it if there is a desire that if Bellingham wants to leave dortmund, I personally think if dortmund really want to keep Belingham then Belingham will definitely not force his move to another team,  because Jude Bellingham is still very young and it's also a risky if he moves to another team if indeed Dortmund can give him more playing time.

And aren't you considering the possibility of Bellingham renewing his contract at Borussia Dortmund?
I know, You know... I'm just kidding, even more so after this latest move by Chelsea willing to offer more than 100 million pounds to have Bellingham in their squad, well above the 87 million euros that Borussia Dortmund demanded to release it, the sale is something certain.
But I believe it's not just the higher money that will decide the player's fate.... we'll have to wait a little longer to find out.

Sanções no gas russo = inflação e congelamento.

2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: September 16, 2022, 02:04:26 AM
Quote
This Thursday a key virtual hearing was held for the case that has the selection of Ecuador since Chili ensures that the player Tri Byron Castillo in reality he is Colombian and therefore should not have disputed any of the eight games who played in the playoffs.
FIFA must make a decision in the next 20 days.
Source: https://www.americanchronicles.news/key-hearing-for-the-byron-castillo-case-the-evidence-presented-by-chile-and-what-fifa-could-decide-on-ecuador/

So in 20 days, max October 5, we will know if Ecuador will participate or not the next World Cup.
If not, Chile will be the squad to occupy the spot, I suspect they are already preparing to play.

Oct 5 is only 46 days to the first game, coincidentally Ecuardor will play the first match.

I believe that, unfortunately, Ecuador should be eliminated from the World Cup.

To make matters worse, Byron Castillo decided not to attend the FIFA hearing that he may decide to exclude Ecuador, and this must have made FIFA even angrier.

I even agree that Chile and Peru may be creating a disproportionate controversy, but the absence of Bryon Castillo to clarify the facts is very poorly seen by all who accompany football.
2026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: September 16, 2022, 01:55:54 AM
Now how many games are left until the end of the season?

There are 20 teams, with 2 matches against each other, so it's 38 matches total.
All teams played 26 matches until now, and there's 12 remaining.
36 points in dispute for each team.

I like to see the math behind the championship and probabilities

In this year, Palmeiras have to focus on 81 points to have 100% of chances to be the champion, but usually a team needs something like 73 or 74 points to guarantee 1st place.

Speaking of probabilities, I really like to follow the website of UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais) which has a lot of statistical data about the Brazilian championship Series A.
Currently they are pointing that Palmeiras has more than 83% of chances of being champion, after that comes Internacional with only 5% of chances, and them Palmeiras with 4%.
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 16, 2022, 01:49:25 AM
James Rodriguez, along with Marcelo, will have a significant impact on the quality of the team in the coming years. It is true that he is 31 years old and there is still a lot of football left in him to offer his team, even though he is 31 years old. The truth is that his performance does not seem to be the best at the moment, even if we take into consideration the fact that he is 31 years old. Nevertheless, I do not think Olympiacos is going to ask this player for too much skill from him. As a result, I believe that he will be able to perform quite well when he is on the field.
In addition to Marcelo and James Rodríguez, it seems that the next player to be signed in the Greek team is Keylor Navas.

Currently a reserve for Paris Saint-Germain, especially after Donnaruma's arrival at the club, Navas would welcome a possible meeting with the Brazilian side and the Colombian midfielder, with whom he played for Real Madrid, between 2014 and 2019.

The Costa Rican goalkeeper's intention is to return to acting with consistency, something that has not happened since 2020/21. At Olympiacos, he would arrive to be the absolute starter of the team coached by Spanish Carlos Corberán. Navas took the field for the last time in May, against Metz, in Ligue 1.
2028  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Gitcoin o "financiamento quadrático" e bens públicos on: September 15, 2022, 01:14:19 AM

2030  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Royalties em NFTs: A discussão do momento on: September 15, 2022, 01:04:00 AM

2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: September 15, 2022, 12:56:01 AM
The spectators will be allowed to drink alcohol three hours before kick-off and one hour after the final whistle, I think this is a win win solution.

I think this decision was very right.

Qatar is a country that values order and nothing better than controlling the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages, as they are one of the main incentives for chaos, especially at events and festivities where people tend to cross the line.

Those who still want to drink can purchase alcoholic beverages inside hotels and nightclubs as these places have a license to sell. And for those who want to buy at home, all over the country there is an authorized distributor that allows you to buy and consume in a controlled way... I don't think this is as restrictive as they say.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 15, 2022, 12:44:46 AM
The race to sign Rafael Leao is getting more serious as it seems. Manchester City are also rumoured to be after him from now on. Chelsea have already been after him for a long time but Milan haven't been leaning towards selling him yet. These teams will most probably need to pay more than 100 million euros to have a chance of signing him. I don't expect any transfer to happen in January but it will be difficult for Milan to keep him in the summer. Especially Manchester City's interest might cause Leao to want to leave the team to join them.

I have no doubt that Manchester City will invest heavily to try to take the Portuguese away from Milan... The club's idea is to build a powerful attack that would have, in addition to Rafael Leao, Phil Foden and Erling Haaland.

Leao is one of the players that Pep Guardiola likes the most at the moment and is a piece that would fit perfectly into the club's idea of the game.... a vertical striker, with good dribbling and definition, in addition to being ready to play in the Premier League.

I doubt Milan will be able to hold him.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos vs money laundering. on: September 15, 2022, 12:34:31 AM
So, what do you say, does crypto casinos really care about money laundering?

It depends on the country where the casino is based, some have stricter rules to the point where they only accept cryptos that are not privacy focused, in addition to requiring KYC. Others are more liberal, don't ask for KYC even when making large withdrawals, and even accept privacy-focused deposits and payments in cryptocurrencies.

I believe that crypto casinos shouldn't worry about this, but they often need to comply with the laws of the countries they operate in order to continue operating.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 11, 2022, 09:53:02 PM
The only reason Chelsea will have to bring in Ronaldo should be for commercial purposes, jersey sales, etc because they already got Aubameyang so I see no other reason why they need 37 year old Ronaldo. Many clubs have rejected the chances of signing Ronaldo for some reason which one is because he is aged and no longer playing like the Ronaldo of old times, nobody wants to sign him and pay heavy wages for a player who will not be able to play as he used to.

The loss of the Champions League wasn't the only reason Thomas Tuchel was sacked, he was also against Chelsea's desire to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, as he said Ronaldo would break the team's spirit, or something along those lines.
Anyway, since that time it had already become clear to me that Cristiano's future was indeed Chelsea.
I believe this is Ronaldo's last team before retirement.
And I also believe that this purchase is pure marketing.

Verstappen is too dominant now. I wouldn't be surprised even if he wins the rest of the races in this season.

It's getting boring talking about Verstappen, the guy just wins and he already has the title in his hand... shall we change the subject? Tongue

I thought it was amazing to see that Dutchman Nyck de Vries made his debut in Formula 1 on the right foot today when he was hastily called up to replace Albon, the 27-year-old finished in ninth place, and managed to secure two points on the leaderboard, isn't it? for less that he was elected by the public as the driver of the day at the Italian GP.

This is the golden opportunity that any driver hopes to have to show what he is capable of, and Nyck de Vries knew how to take advantage of it very well.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 11, 2022, 09:37:02 PM
I do not think that it is a place where young players could go to showcase their talents, the nations league or whatever it is named would be a much better place to do that. World cup is the place where nations bring their best possible players and most of the time teams that join are good teams as well because they beat others to join, there are a lot of nations that failed to join.

This is why I believe that we will see players who are at the best stages of their career, and not players who are young and have potential. If you are young and already play very well like Haaland then of course you will play.

I also believe that the World Cup isn't a showcase for new talent.
Talented players who are starting their careers always manage to stand out and attract the attention of big teams even if they are playing in local and less-targeted championships.

Football moves a lot of money and has scouts all over the world, you don't have to get to the FIFA World Cup to be able to stand out.
2037  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Royalties em NFTs: A discussão do momento on: September 10, 2022, 03:01:50 AM

Verstappen will probably win but IMHO as said several times... be aware of Mercedes.

About Ferrari, they have a new Venturi part of the car to trying to get a better top speed, but yeah the championship is over

In my opinion, I'm a little frustrated that Ferrari is still so far behind RedBull, as they invested a lot in innovation in their cars and started the championship with that impression that they would impress the world and fight for the lead until the end.
Unfortunately, that's not what happened, but I believe that for 2023 they should be even stronger.

The problem is that not everything is in Ferrari's hands, the driver is 50% responsible for the trophy, and Verstappen knows how to make the most of it.
