... Waffle ...

One of the other things I've just noticed that the two users have in common is their use of one sentence paragraphs.  Notice in my quote just above how both have the same style in saying something, but don't use a paragraph properly as though by saying one sentence at a time it conveys more weight if set out in paragraph form.

black star=dark star ?

You "sir" must be dyslexic.   What I wrote was:

Timelord2067    2021-06-11        Not an alt of DarkStar_ u=507936 (Delete)

As you can see, I did not say they are alts.

I gave you a negative evaluation, you must be responsible for what you do.

I'll leave this here for others to evaluate what you wrote on my trust feedback page:

The Ghoul    2021-08-24    Reference    Without evidence, he framed me as another person's alt account. I am very angry. I read your previous posts, you did find some alt accounts, but that doesnt mean you can use these to disgust me.

(Funny how you've lashed out at just me out of all the posters who studied your alts)...
2022  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can someone with data crunching skills help me out with account linkage? on: August 24, 2021, 11:49:36 AM
I was surprised. The first name was me. I seemed to be a suspect in the forum. Undecided Undecided

I abide by the rules of the forum and did not create spam. I actively learn new knowledge in the forum and actively make a little contribution of my own.

I am not an account farmer, and I do not have a replacement number (although this phenomenon is real), and I have not participated in any form of bounty program, at least not yet. Maybe I will participate in some projects that I feel are good.

Although I feel a little angry,  >:(I dont want to be rude to people I respect. I will continue to abide by the rules of the forum and do my own thing. What I care about is whether I can get more knowledge points. And give merit to the poster (I don't consider whether it is a newbie). Thank you.

First of all thank you sir, you have played a very good guide to my novice career:[GUIDE for NEWBIE] Merit-help from other users, how to use them correctly?

sir, I'm surprised I appeared on your suspicion list.

I reviewed all my actions on the forum and did not find any violations of the rules.

I have never plagiarized, all posts are through my own thinking. Never beg for merit. Never used an alt account.

You can view all my posts one by one, especially those topics. They consume my energy, and I also learned a lot in the process of publishing the topic.

I have not posted any spam. I have not participated in any bounty and dont plan to participate in the future. To be honest, I am not short of money, I have benefited a lot from investing in cryptocurrency.

What I care most about is my credibility. I think its an insult to me and everyone else on your list.

But if many people on this list are innocent, I don't know what other people on your list think. But this list really hurts my self-esteem.

You are one of the people who have contributed the most to the forum, and I have always respected you. Thank you for your contribution.

I'm not surprised...

*edit* I've just about run out of colours to highlight the similarities in those two posts...
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 24, 2021, 07:39:16 AM
nitrogensports.eu is offline at the moment, otherwise I'd have a look and see what's on offer (there were only two venues in the US when I put those wagers on earlier - not sure when the US open will appear) - who are you wanting to put wagers on?
2024  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can someone with data crunching skills help me out with account linkage? on: August 24, 2021, 01:40:23 AM
This is the point in the investigation where the various alts start coming out of the woodwork with various nearly plausible reasons why their accounts are similar to others that have been identified.

Compare their grammar when under the microscope to when they were unaware they are being watched and look for subtle differences.
2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 24, 2021, 01:37:57 AM
The price on Ash Barty winning the US Open has been falling all day over on Nitrogensports.eu  (I picked up nearly 7:1 now it's falling towards 5:1)

On the other hand - Jil Teichmann has remained at 67:1 all day even though she played Ash Barty in the final this morning.

I've also put a small wager on Su-Wei Hsieh barreling Venus Williams out in the first round  Grin

I knew I should have put more money on Su-Wei Hsieh and Ash Barty winning their respective games today:

All in all I'll put some more on Su-Wei Hsieh over the next few games and see how she goes.  (naturally I'm hoping Ash win's the US Open next week).

I would say three are farmed:

Luke Jackson

Ryder Kudrow

Dax Robinson

All three woke up on the same day and previously, all three became inactive within a ~36 hour period.

Looking at the UID's that @Ratimov added, we can see the following have shared information between the list @The Pharmacist and @Ratimov provided.

Only risk you have is not covering 50 to 55k else you have got a good odd till 70k.

We're already over $ 50,000 as we speak.  And, if the price rise over the last week of $ 10,000 is matched over the next week by another $ 5,000, then I'm going to be in a sweet spot (especially if the price then rises even further in the next eight days of so).

Good luck everyone with your bets.

I have pretty much the same but as singles, never thought to do a parlay Storm, Panthers and Sea Eagles.

As regards outright winners I have Storm, Panthers and Eels from a few weeks ago but I'm leaving it at that. If any of the 3 above win I will be in profit.

I'm only putting 0.05 mbtc wager on hence rolling those three into one (payout on nitrogensports.eu is 0.05 mbtc on a 0.05 mbtc wager when the odds fall below 1.1 due to their rounding up or down methodology on each bet to be exactly multiples of 0.01 mbtc)

IMO, if you are regularly in contact with a business contact, you can use email instead of PM. Or you can use some other messaging platform. If you can use a VPN, it will generally increase the security of public WiFi.

As a merit source, I would not merit any alt account of mine, nor any account rumored to be an alt of mine. My personal recommendation is for everyone else to do the same.

<Slightly off topic>
I actually can't recall anyone ever making that particular accusation against Quickseller
Two yaks and a tub of jello perhaps, but not merits...

I've got my bets in for the price of bitcoin at the end of August 2021:

Basically anything in the bracket $ 55,001 through $ 70,000 will give me odds 22:1 or better  Grin

I've bought another 100 FUN tokens just now after picking up a similar amount in the free spins.  I haven't been watching the price rising recently (now up to 67 sats each!)
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours / Olympics on: August 23, 2021, 04:38:59 AM
It hardly seems worth doing, but I have a triple parlay on the last four games of round 24 of the 2021 NRL season:

I've also put a couple of bets on the Sharks and Roosters to take out the finals:

(I've already placed small bets early in the season on the Panthers, Eels and Rabbitohs at good odds - might as well have a couple of other punts.  The Roosters could just about cause an upset and get into the semis, or even the grand-final as their game is coming together.

The only boil-over in round 23 was a late win by the Broncos.  Not enough to resurrect the hopes for this year (especially after the Captain has already jumped from their sinking ship...)

2033  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Balletcrypto new additions to PURE series on: August 22, 2021, 08:05:52 AM
but of course you can load these pure Ballet wallets with the appropriate amount and then you have the certain BTC amount on these wallets.
Ballet has never sold loaded wallets. and the other thing is also these unloaded wallets will have a certain collector value (when they will not be available anymore).
i'm just waiting until someday the 100k and 500k wallets will come too (like back then with BTCC) Grin

You even quoted me stating they do.

So, unlike the whole of block items which have approx 6.5 BTC contained on them, these items have not inbuilt value which is a shame as they would make interesting collectables on the secondary market.

Just in case you aren't sure what I am referring to, here they are:

https://www.balletcrypto.com/en/block/

Archive [1a] [1b]

As you can see, these Ballet Crypto wallets are preloaded with Bitcoin.

Just a quick heads up to everyone else, there are higher denomination Ballet Wallet cards on their website:

https://www.balletcrypto.com/en/pure/

... but aren't preloaded:

Quote
Note: PURE Bitcoin physical bitcoins sold empty; it is expected that the customer will deposit the amount that matches the denomination displayed on the wallet.
2034  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Balletcrypto new additions to PURE series on: August 22, 2021, 04:17:08 AM
I am actually interested in these items (in part because I can then use them as examples of preloaded alt coins for a couple of alt coins I support), however, I then saw this disclaimer:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/balletcrypto/ballet-pure-bitcoin-cold-storage-solution

Quote
Important note: PURE Bitcoin products are sold empty without any BTC pre-loaded onto them. The intended method of use is for the customer or end user to deposit the amount of the BTC denominated on the product.

So, unlike the whole of block items which have approx 6.5 BTC contained on them, these items have not inbuilt value which is a shame as they would make interesting collectables on the secondary market.

2036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hoard Bitcoin? on: August 22, 2021, 12:30:56 AM
Bitcoin is a coin stored for a long time, if you want to hold it for a long time then you can definitely invest on bitcoin. It is profitable to invest in Bitcoin with all other coins.

I can see why you've never received even one merit with a post such as that.

While it's true Bitcoin can be stored for a long time, it should be noted that doing so reduces the amount of crypto in circulation (supply and demand, less bitcoin = higher prices) the only trouble with that is *how* do you store your crypto safely into the future?  You may have a fool proof method of storage of the privkey (fire/weather/corrosion proof etc) only to discover your wallet address is obsolete with legacy wallet address having been written out of the code.  (then there's the various forked coins already in circulation - one of those might become the dominant crypto of choice)

Storing long term is one thing, recovering might be something else entirely.

Hello again,

I was just wondering if it was this thread or another thread I asked about somehow calling the BPIP values for my merit in the last 120 days (currently, a modest 81) in much the same way as the @LoyceV values for trust feedback can be obtained via images e.g. ??

I've occasionally updated my post here and vaguely recall asking about it one other time, but can't recall what the outcome was.  If there is, I could use it for a spread sheet I use from time to time too.

2039  Economy / Economics / Re: Why would people ever use bitcoin if its expected to always go up? on: August 20, 2021, 05:06:40 PM
Assuming the cost of transaction fees continues to remain at it's current lowest prices, if you were wanting to make a $100 purchase, then you buy $100 worth of bitcoin (probably a tiny bit more to cover subsequent TX fees) then make your purchase of a $100 item.

Essentially, it doesn't matter what the price of bitcoin is if you buy BTC then spend that BTC more or less straight away.
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: August 20, 2021, 04:59:42 PM
Do you think it is really worthy for all the time? We need a permanent solution. It's really a insane thing if we think about the gas fees of Ethereum. As a alternative, Bsc is doing really great.

I gave ETH a wide miss when they did their roll back of the block chain and had that subsequent skisim that resulted in a fork (correction).  Recently, I've tried to buy a couple of new Tokens on the ERC20 chain and found the price to buy was cheep, but then the TX (GAS) fees made the price to buy cost prohibitive.
