2021  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: S9&S7 on Stock on: October 19, 2016, 03:59:07 PM
Who had any deals with this company?

It seems no one as far as I can tell.

looks like anyone of the dozens of scams out there. Nice pics though. Maybe you can spray paint the floor with your company name or something Wink funny how I just saw those same exhaust fans in a  recent clip on a Bitcoin series but from the outside over a cliff near a river in a secret place on China with very cheap power - top secret. Ohh maybe that's why you never heard of them Wink lol

Obvious scam be warned. Or be careful. Your money to lose.

Thanks !
At first, thank you very much for our attention for our topic and  offer some advice.
You never do business with us, and since now no one said we cheat them. We sincerely hope we could have a cooperation with each other and build a good relationship between each other, no matter you want to buy our goods or not.
You warn other person to be care about our topic that is ok, but I think other members have their own judgement, and if they are interested in, we can discuss further one by one, if we trust both, we will do the business, we do business for a long time, we don't want to cheat our clients, or it is bad for our company and our business.
Whatever, we still hope we could be friend, and you can still pay attention to us and give us your advance. Thank you again!!!

Yes that is 100% correct I have never done any business with you, but you also say no one said you cheated them. So I guess the question is Who HAVE you done busines with that can vouch for you?? Because all i see is a new account trying to sell goods with no reputation or trust or any references. And I also believe I read that you aren't taking any escrow?

You will not have any luck in my opinion doing business here unless someone is foolish enough to send you money and they get a product and can then say they paid and received it. OR report back that hey were scammed.

You can be friends with everyone here that you want, and that's great! But that doesn't mean anyone will trust you enough to send you money Wink

And yes that is 100% correct that I warn people to be weary of these types of threads because some of us have been around here long enough to see what has happened so many times in the past.

Good luck.

2023  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 19, 2016, 12:51:07 PM
Hello Bitcoin Forum,

Been a long time since I've posted here!  Grin

I am auctioning off 2,500 oz of 1oz silver coins, which were minted by MyBitcoinMint.com (no longer operational).

These are some pretty pretty coins, and have been kept in great condition  Shocked

If someone wanted to purchase the coins, and re-mint them to have the Bitcoin logo on both sides (instead of the My Bitcoin Mint logo), or any other design they have in mind, we can work with you to get that done.

This auction will end on Sunday the 16th at 9pm CST.

Minimum bid will be silver spot price (appx $17.50/oz x 2400 oz = ~$42,000) , and will not include additional costs such as shipping & handling or optional re-minting.

Happy to use a reputable escrow party of buyer's choice.

Is it safe to say that this entire thread is a load of BS yet?

The OP abandoned this thread never replied to offers here or via PM to me at least, if anyone else had a different experience please post it.

Otherwise please close and lock this crap thread which was a huge waste of time by a guy who probably never had any of these coins.  The pic not showing up in he OP should have been a good sign , but I guess we thought maybe this could be possible.

To top it off the guy said he was going to go and bring all the coins to a PM dealer in the city when offers were made to purchase handfuls of these fake rolls he claimed to have which would have been at a zero loss to him and possibly let he community share in some history.

If he really was the guy who had them and gave a rats ass about this community and the collectors here, he never would do or say that he would destroy all of these "originals" and wrire it off to dump them to a melting metals place in NYC. I think I'll have to call BS on this one for now.

Please close this thread as it is obvious that nothing is happening and the "auction"' is over.

Thanks!

So these guys are obvious scammers then?

No escrow and more stock than was produced ?

Hahaha

Good luck trying to scam the people here dude.

You have nice "STOCK" photos from a large mining facility in China I'm pretty sure I saw it on a recent episode of "something" lol

Stear clear unless proof is provided , or use escrow or get scammed.

Pretty simple.
2026  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: S9&S7 on Stock on: October 19, 2016, 03:41:22 AM
sure we will all take free miners Smiley

and what is On Stock exactly?

thanks!

2028  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Unlimited 4G LTE Data Smartphone/Hotspot Forever- It's.....Magicphone! on: October 17, 2016, 05:02:37 PM
I purchased a phone from Magicphone with OGNasty serving as an escrow agent. They cut me a deal in exchange for taking a less desirable phone model (I don't care, I'm using it as a hotspot).

I'll come back and edit this post in the future with my overall impression, but for now I will say that Magicphone is quick to respond to questions, and pretty professional. I asked a dozen or so questions, and got responses back pretty quickly. No problems with setting up escrow, and nothing so far that would lead me to believe that Magicphone is a scammer. I'll update this post when I have the phone in hand.

How will you know when to release escrow, as in if a week later it doesn't work?

thanks!
2029  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 17, 2016, 04:25:44 AM
so is this over now?
I just got home from the movies and forgot to place another bid, although I wouldn't have hit the silver spot price.

To answer your question, yes, it appears so.

No one actually outbid me indicating a quantity and price.

I am still interested and willing to negotiate, but not publicly.

PMs.

good luck with that, as the OP never even replied here after it was over. (or via PM)

If you do wind up getting them , I would purchase 2 rolls from you.
If not, then this seems like it was just a big waste of time.

thanks!
2030  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 17, 2016, 02:10:58 AM
so, any update on the status here?

says will end tonight at 9pm CST.

At this point, I am the only one to publicly make an offer for the full quantity.
Others have mentioned they wanted a small quantity, but not made an offer.

Looks like sniping.

Yeah, unfortunately no one seems to have bid at the minimum of silver spot price. I will likely end up liquidating the silver at a PM dealer in the city :/

so is this over now?
2031  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction on: October 17, 2016, 12:06:34 AM
Well i'm assuming the price is what the OP requested at the silver spot at the time of the post, if not then please update the amount if you are looking for spot at the end of the auction in 2 hours. (spot price has not changed much anyway since then)

If no one wants to purchase the lot, then the options are either the OP can go to a silver buyer in NYC and sell them off, (which would be a shame due to the uniqueness of the coin and to dump them to be melted down etc etc..) or we can coordinate a quick group buy which I would be happy to assist with.

Either way OP , I would be interested in purchasing 2 rolls for myself personally and can meet up with you in NYC to pick them up from you and pay for them. If no one else wants any, then you can dump them off to be melted in the city.

Michail1: "Unfortunately, I would not be willing to meet anyone while in NY for a sale."  that's totally up to you of course as well.

All I know if this is for real, and thay are for sale at spot, I would be able buy 2 rolls tomorrow from the OP, anyone else who wants any can let me know, or organize a group buy before he sends them off to be melted down to nothing collectable.

thanks!

@Michail1, if you want to purchase them as you mentioned and can possibly meet the OP's required amount or work something out with him, I can also take care of picking it up for you the group or whatever, I am not sure where you live, but if you are coming into any of the NY airports, I can pick you up as well, just let me know.

thanks!

Well I can meet up with you to buy any amount of rolls for members who want them here, as I am there already.

I would personally like a few rolls myself, so you can PM me with any details on where you might like to meet up etc.

thanks!

make me an offer i cannot refuse and ill take the whole lot.

Heh.

Basically, you just need to make an offer for an amount he wants or higher.
I just threw in an offer below what he wants to take into consideration as I said I would take the entire lot.

At least making an offer starts the line of communication and/or to show interest.

Dogedigital - since you're close to the area, it's possible a single purchase group buy is feasible with you picking up the lot.
- You will not pay anything in taxes in the USA since they are being sold in New York (there isn't even the question of the sub $1k tax); however, duties to bring them to Canada would be up to customs.  A coin or two if fine, but they might notice/charge for 200 troy pounds.

And, if I purchase the entire lot, then I would have no problem selling off up to 25% of them at quantities of 20 (maybe less) at the price I paid (plus actual shipping).  (Giving others the ability to still get them; however, in this case, I would want payment in BTC to avoid issues like paypal scams).

I am still interested and will watch the thread.  Smiley

If I buy, would you mind picking me up from the airport?

I am also interested in buying a few tubes possibly, and live very close to NYC, so if you want to organize anything id be happy to help out.

(and i can pick you up at the airport Smiley lol )

thanks!

1. Have device unplugged from windows PC
2. Inside folder 3. run afkupdater.exe
3. Note down the COM ports in the list
4. Plug in Device and Wait a ~ 1 minute, hope windows installs driver for you
5. Press arrow next to COM Port
6. If there is one extra COM port select the new port from list (if not install USB com port driver from folder 1.)
7. Look at Circuit board where USB plugs in
8. Set Yellow or Black based on colour
9. Press List Files  -> may get error this is normal
10. Press List Files again  - no error this time
11. Press Update.
12. Let it do its thing.

Don't need to do folder 2. because this should already be in the device.

Linux or OSX instructions are much more complicated.

EDIT: the target size for http_client.lua is size 3317  - the top box is wrong.
