Since you're using an exchange you'll need to provide a screenshot showing the transaction for the 0.01 BTC fee not the original transaction of the registration. Ok, here is one. thanks. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F2i7H0KZ.jpg&t=663&c=29DWRI1qbEQFdw) marked you for exchange of nicks.

why the coin is so expensive?
Your answer can be found on the first page. - Fair distribution (call for participation) with 3000 stakeholders - Proof of intent (distinct form proof of work and proof of stake) - Large, skilled, development team. Gimre and Jagaur were contributors to NxT. The other developers had roles in other successful coins. Is Proof of intent the same as Proof of Importance? Yep. Sometimes it's also called proof of interest. I think the importance is the more official lingo. Thanks. I thought I may have missed some new information. I think it's always called proof of importance. Both interest and intent - Never heard of them ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I find it remarkable that NEM, compared to other coins, has essentially been free of FUD so far.
You obviously missed a couple of posts ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Seems utopianfuture already accepts donations in NEM. This is from his signature: NEM donation: TD53NLTDK7EMSutopiaK4RSYQ523VBS3C62UMJC5 Is this the NEM address format? Getting closer. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) are they all going to have "utopia" in the middle? lol That would be cool, but I don't think so. Those are just alpha testing addresses. Gimre searched to find priv keys for addresses that would somewhat resemble our names. Mine would be TDPATEMA4HXS7D44AQNT6VH3AHKDSNVC3MYROLEZ ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) PS I wish the end was RULEZ but ROLEZ is close enough ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

There are so many coins out there. different algortithms and different features. Hard to decide whether to invest 50% NXT and 50% NEM or 40% NXT 60% NEM. Its so hard. I'll be easier to decide once NEM reaches V1 ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

worth mentioning that those tx are not place holders ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) They happend on the internal alpha blockchain. IT'S ALIVE !!!

What I don't quite understand is the NEM V1 blockchain. Maybe someone can clear that up for me.
The info says that NEM will be released, and then they focus on the asset exchange and then v1 blockchain is released.
But doesn't the blockchain start as soon as NEM is released?
Of course there's a blockchain once NEM is released. The talk about V1 should just predicate that only after the AE is launched NEM will be complete as in Version 1.0. Obviously Development will continue after V1 but V1 marks a milestone in the release plan.

how long we need to wait.
it's finished when it's finished. You can believe that I personally want the waiting to be over more than anyone else. Not beacuse I don't have the patience but because people keep asking and it annoys the crap out of me.

Any ideas on what NEM will be trading at once alpha launches?
Still on the NXT AE. Alpha coins will not be real. Beta coins will neither. Only launch coins will be real and will be most likely first traded on dgex, poloniex or bittrex. Last I checked we wanted to stay away from dgex to differentiate ourselves from NXT and most importantly NAS. There is absolutely no word on where NEM will be traded.

they keyphrase "is behind the scenes". Why would stuff that the public doesn't know about cause such an increase ? My guess is that NEM has no small part in this increase. Then again we can't actually be sure about anything so it's really anybodies guess.

I'd need a screenshot from the tx that you made for the registration not the one you made today. You posted one earlier but it's too small.
Just saw it. I upload a new one. Hope it's ok now. Thank u. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fp4zyari.jpg&t=663&c=hw-b13BxGarnZQ) Can't you upload a full sized screenshot ? I don't remember cryptsy looking as shitty. It looks like you used mspaint to fake thigns ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

hi all~ Mark Blair just introduced CGB to me. I'm the only altcoin developer living in South Korea(till now..) and always have interest in altcoins ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I just downloaded windows wallet and wanna get more info thanks ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) 2 questions... 1 How you you know you're the only one ? 2 May I ask what altcoin ? Is it out yet ?

How's the closed alpha coming along? Any horrendous bugs reared their ugly heads?
Define horrendous ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) So far NIS is still the main subject of testing as NCC is not done yet. Gimre and Bloddyrookie are working everyday to get everything working stable. Other devs would have probably said "screw it good enough for alpha" but that's not how our core-devs role ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) As I'm writing this we hit 3046 blocks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hi guys,
I would like to sell my NEM stake, but I only have an office laptop so can't install the NXT client. Is there maybe a webclient through which I can acces the AE?
My NEM stake is otherwise also for sale directly for the highest buy order on the AE. So if anyone is interested, my NEM stake is for sale for 19.000 NXT or 2 BTC at the moment. Can be more or less depending on the AE value. PM me if interested!
Not dropping my interest in NEM but just in need of money at the moment, will buy back in later and support the community cause I strongly believe in this coin.
You can try to use my public node at http://217.17.88.5:7876Wouldn't this be a security risk to access the wallet and send the pass phrase over a non secure (http) connection? Btw: Do you know where I can find a list of public NXT nodes also those that are available trough HTTPS? Thanks. I don't know any public nodes for nxt but https isn't really your biggest worry there. You're basically entering your passphrase on a website hosted by a 3rd party. Encrypted or not that always houses a bit of a risk.

Hi devs!
I would like to prepare the paper-wallet voucher and will need NEM private keys and a correspondig NEM addresses for this. I am trying to find out how both will be created but will need your help as it seems that i have currently not all the infos i would need.
Although I believe paper wallet is a great idea, I doubt that it makes any sense to prepare it before Beta. You may be right, but i would guess that the key creation process will stay nearly the the same in alpha, beta and final version. I plan a package that will enable everybody to create this vouchers and as i am not a pro dev it will take some of my time. The key creation process will hopefully not change that much so it can be prepared now which will give me some more time for the graphics later on and i will be able to test my first results on the beta. nxt didnt have a white paper for months after launch? has that stopped their epic growth recently? all the attention? nope lol white paper now or later is inconsequential in the larger scheme of things. chillax your cax! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) hold on please, i am not asking for a white paper here. Just want to know how the addresses are build and encoded to prepare my work for the NEM community. But, ok, seems to be to early to ask. It's not too early to ask. This stuff is definitely already settled. As i remember it your proposed way (sha3-ripe160-...) was spot on but if you want to headover to #nemcoin on freenode you can ask a core-dev ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I regret not getting a 2nd stake too. I'm a horrible day trader and I could not even increase my stake on the exchange. So I wont even bother claiming a token. but I'm happy to see prices rising again, I hope we got rid of all dumpers
Doubtfull as some probably only bought assets to dump them when NEM hits an exchange. This is normal and has to be expected.

nem is a good coin,But someone took nfd2 and nem compare, this should is not a class, nfd2 is just a replica, and nem is something completely new
got a link to that thread ? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=603932.0nfd was a scam.. but the scammer actually done a really good job on distribution(even if it wasnt ever going to happen) so the people in the community took over and are now launching the coin by using the origonal spread sheet used for distribution and tracking investment. those who lost money dont need to buy back in but those who got a refund will need to reinvest into it. it looks promising.. Thx but I actually meant a link to the comparison.

Since you are sending from cryptsy (not cool) I can't verify you via address or signed message.
Could you provide a better screenshot clearly showing both transactions ?
I agreed with you. as I used few cryptsy now. And now I use Mintpal... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FyxJmudy.jpg&t=663&c=4t0eDOpKo92fmA) I'd need a screenshot from the tx that you made for the registration not the one you made today. You posted one earlier but it's too small.
