Is it   -algo Myr-gr       and what miner are you using ...been awhile since I mined that.  Thx

I tried sp5 private and it just closes.

I think ccminer 1.7...   Probably the GIT SPMOD version.  Ill have to wait till I get back to the ranch to let you know what version it really is.  Id tell you now but its not currently running on myrgr so I cant see on the wallet page

Ok Thx

The reject issue has been bothering me a lot recently.

IDK whats causing it;  but its very recent.  Within a week or two.

It's just catching erroneous data. Right now the rejects on the front end can be ignored, it's a WIP.

Unless you are seeing high rejects on the miners side, you're still getting credits for all of them.

Ok... good... that's very consoling info.

Seeing all those red reject lines zigzagging all over my hashrate charts is disconcerting =)

Myr-gr seems pretty profitable;  my GTX980 keeps switching to it.

Just did a test run on blakecoin algo without the -f 256 and the pool read out was wrong..in mh not gh...but the difficulty adjustments worked good.

How do I put "-f 256" into a sgminer .conf file ?

cheers

Don't have to now. I rebuilt the stratum for blakecoin with the fix in there.
Good crackfoo  Smiley  Now the pool auto difficulty adjustment isn't working on my one rig with high hash power and multiple hashate cards on lyra2v2. But works on my other rig with low hashrate.

Yeah;  my GTX980 machine has to be usable for regular pc work or games at all times, so I back the intensity off until no video skips or artifacts are seen.  Seems to still get me close to where it hashes at default intensity anyways so the small hit in hashrate doesnt bother me in the slightest.  Which explains my concept of 1/2 the speed instead of 1/3 the speed for a 750Ti.

I have all the current algos aside from Quark on my multi-algo batch that I have running again.

Ill post up a new copy of that full batch when I get back to home.   Haven't been there for several days now.
Ok great.
2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Decred (DCR) Mining on: May 02, 2016, 03:29:27 PM
I'm afraid I need some help with profitability normalization.  I'm running several 750ti cards.  Since the normalization rates at zpool are based on AMD, it doesn't make sense for me to use them.  What nVidia miners out there use for factors, based on the hashrate for the various algorithms?  I can't seem to figure out how to calculate these values.

Simple.  look a few pages back for my posted batch.  You will see the normalization factors I created.  They directly correlate to hashrate at the level of profitability that the particular algo is paid at.  You find the details in the profitability preview at the upper right of zpool:  *** values in mBTC/Mh/day (mBTC/Gh/day for sha256 and blake algos)

So:

If your machine does 500Kh of SCRYPT;  and since scrypt is measured in Mh, then its going to be 0.5Mh or scrypt=0.5
If your machine does 1.5Gh of DECRED;  and since decred is measured in Gh;  then its going to be 1.5Gh or decred=1.5
If your machine does 11.5Mh if LYRA2V2; and since lyra2v2 is measured in Mh;  then its going to be 11.5Mh or lyra2v2=11.5
If your machine does 110Kh of ARGON2; and since  argon2 is measured in Mh; then its going to be 0.110 or argon2=0.110

This way they are all balanced to the scale they are paid on;  and thus;  balanced to each other.

We normalized a machine with 2x 750Ti's in SF recently;  Ill try and post that batch when I head back to the City again.  But its worth notice a 750Ti is about half the computing power of a GTX980.
That is simple, isn't it... Thank you for pointing out the obvious to me.
The 980 has 3x the hashing power then the 750ti.

And one should use there true hashrates like below because nobody has your true hashrates and they represent your numbers.
And I'm looking forward to see the nvidia numbers for the pool because then I can tweak my numbers.
And those hashrates are lower because I use the -i setting on one card so I can use this computer.

looking good doing a test run  1 miner 2.7 gh  2 miner 10.6 gh.

On my 2.7gh/s . and . 10.6gh/s  difficulty is still to low.

EDIT: On 10.6gh/s there are 2 980ti  one 970 gtx and a 750ti  high hashing and low hashing cards mixed.
And the pool difficulty is still to low to use yet.

For miners using blakecoin there is an extra switch you should use, which will make the pool report the proper hash rate.

GPU miners please add -f 256 to your command line. There is no standard with blakecoin which is why there is a discrepancy but your shares are still accepted and valued properly.

Cheers
I was thinking of  -f 256  but didn't try it....Thx    crackfoo. Wink

Yes and it is reporting mh/s it should be Gh/s.

Ok, I'm going to apply a different fix. Stratum will restart in a bit
Ok but   I can't put it in my bat or conf file because of this... it will stick to that algo as being the highest forever.

Ok, shouldn't need that now then. Hashrates look normal now.
Ok looking good doing a test run  1 miner 2.7 gh  2 miner 10.6 gh.

45.5Gh x 38.4000 Profitability = 1.7472 BTC
45 Gh will get 1.74 BTC a day?

And pool is showing 3 mh and I'm mining at 3 Gh...?

Thats the issue;  I dont know why its reporting one way or the other....  I believe there is a simple error in the scripting of the pool that is causing it to report that way.  1.74mBTC sounds more correct for blake profitability.   I think its just being reported wrong on the site for some reason (chose Mh instead of Gh, etc)

Hopefully crackfoo will have a comment.   I was certain my GTX980 was like 45Gh at home......  which would be seriously off the wall earnings at that payrate....
Yes I'm doing a test run  3x 750ti  but I have 2x 980ti  and 1 970 gtx  .
So my 980ti should do 25% more than the 980 gtx... I hope the price is correct ... I'll put it in my conf files.
the price changes constantly;  it shouldn't be a part of the normalization calculation on your end FYI.

if it gets locked on blakecoin;  divide the normalization value by 1000 and try again.... worth an attempt.
No I'm just doing a test run without profit switching.

I updated my response above after analyzing the comment I was responding to.   Cant really comment on rejects other than let diff be default at first.
Yes

Ok  so  45.5 x .0384000  = 13.2....... or   45.5  x .0000384  =  .0017  I think  last one is correct.

I'm getting a lot of rejects at the pool.
And pool is showing 3 mh/s I'm mining at 3 gh/s.

how much my hashrate should net me.

Anyone know the algo for blake coin in  ccminer ... is it -a blake    or  -a blake256     thx
in ccminer it was "blakecoin"
Thank you JaredKaragen...trying it out.
Is that 37.400 x the hashrate  or .000374 x the hashrate?

Blake is measured in GH/s so 45500Mh will be 45.5

I think for the intensity I am running on my GTX980;  I am seeing ~38-44

No accepts ?
EDIT: 5 minutes and still none. I think I'll lower the difficulties or take them out.
My difficulty was set to high... now it not only reads it but the time to reach its hashrate takes only a minute.. but it looks like the pool was accepting it.
