2021  Economy / Speculation / Re: NY Hearings - lets live blog this puppy : - ) on: January 28, 2014, 05:41:21 PM
Fair play to that Wilson guy, he was / is fucking great.

is that the wilson guy? the one busting all kinds of nuts about regulation at the moment?

I'd have to a agree!
2022  Economy / Speculation / Re: NY Hearings - lets live blog this puppy : - ) on: January 28, 2014, 05:37:40 PM
strikes me that the typical AML/KYC seems like a reasonable amount of regulation.

I think maybe they are just trying to ensure there isn't a whole bunch of other crap on top of that.

I hope.
2023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Confirmed Bad News Sources Thread - No FUD, Just Facts!!!1 on: January 28, 2014, 02:53:59 AM
And each confirmation must be confirmed.
I can confirm your confirmation. This means that 1 out of 6 confirmations is now fully confirmed.

I also confirm what I wrote. If someone could confirm my confirmation, we will have 2 out of 6 confirmations.

CONFIRMED

CONFIRMED for 6/6

To confirm this I have done a regression analysis of the confirmations received so far on the news chain.

This source appears to conclusive and foreign. 102% confirmation shows the martingale leveraged shorts are in control of the order book having shotred more than BTC supply.

I am sorry to have found another fully confirmed chart...  Sad

Yes I can quite clearly tell from the pixels, and having see a few in my time, that this is unstable, and I can confirm it to be a source.
2024  Economy / Speculation / Re: The correction and recovery in a nutshell. on: January 28, 2014, 02:36:51 AM
I'm finding it tricky to understand how your cognitive processes work, but I think you read other people's posts something like this...

I had shorted well in advance of your advice but

This

was quite frankly fucking shit

Hope you don't mind me

I am

stupid

for shorting cos I just love the sight of Bitcoin crashing
2025  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would it take for you to sell your BTC on Mtgox? on: January 28, 2014, 12:25:37 AM
I think one of the most profitable plays, if you can time it right is going to be when gox finally gets its shit sorted and reinstates withdrawals.

If you knew when that was going to happen you got a quick and easy 20%.

Gamble on!
2026  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop panicking and hold your bitcoins on: January 28, 2014, 12:23:21 AM
do not hold, shotr whilst you still can. 102% shotr interest at the moment means your profits will be leveraged.

Here is a list of countries that have been confirmed as having completely and utterly and without any qualification banned all use of bitcoin:

1.  China
2.  Russia

This has not been confirmed by multiple confirmed and verified sources, most importantly in non-English language encrypted letters and words.  Therefore, we know this is fact.  Total bans.

Clearly there is a trend developing that we can calculate.  By 2015 every country of our Earth will have banned the use of bitcoin.  That is why we know bitcoin will fail, as has been confirmed.  Truly, it is only going to get worse from here.

We have already seen the market begin its total collapse as it continues to fail to make new all time highs and crashes on a daily basis.  While I know bitcoin will fail, as has been confirmed, I still can't help but feel such despair in my heart.  It was a nice idea, but it simply cannot succeed.

If you don't sell all your bitcoins now, you will be gloriously sad, as many of us have confirmed.  Confirm if you agree!

A foreign confirmed news source just linked to this chart...

2029  Economy / Speculation / Re: The correction and recovery in a nutshell. on: January 27, 2014, 10:13:07 PM

What can I say. That was probably one of the most eye-opening things I have ever read on here. The early Bitcoin adopters were not cut-throat pirate financiers who like to drink babies' blood at the weekends on a full moon. They were wild-eyed libertarian zealots such as sgbett who have seriously lucked out. I made a 'near term price prediction' thread when Bitcoin was hovering at 790, telling people to go long Bitcoin, then short at 815-820 range. Bitcoin then done exactly as I predicted, at which point sgbett jumped into the thread and had a rant at my day-trading antics telling me that I should just be buying as many Bitcoins as I possibly can at these prices cos Bitcoin is going to $10K. Someone who bought Bitcoin at $1, getting ratty at someone successfully day-trading Bitcoin and demanding that the daytrader buy as many Bitcoins as he can, at $800!!

Your mad skills at trading are nothing compared to your insights! There was nothing special about that particular thread, you post so much crap that it makes no difference which I rant in.

You are the latest in a long line if day trading hero's. You fit the stereotype perfectly. There is no telling you about the perils, because you already know everything there is to know about everything.

The funniest thing is that I actually agree with all the bears on here right now, I think that the price in USD is going down. Some days I lose thousands of imaginary dollars. Oh the trauma. Perhaps I should sell out to buy back lower!!!

The difference between us, is that I don't think I am so smart as to be able to call the tops and bottoms. You can't. You might win some, you might lose some.

Every time you win, that is lucky, but you'll just rationalise it into how much of e leet trader you are. Every time you don't, then you'll dip into your grab bag of reasons why the market is rigged against you. If anyone tries to point any of this out to you, you'll become abusive and frenzied. You'll create entire fantasies to justify the way you think. You already hate me, even though you are "winning" and I am "losing". You've invented wild theories about how I am on the wrong side of trades, or making losses so I'm butthurt. When the truth is far less exotic. My entire investment strategy is boring. I minimise capital risk, I have investment horizons of decades.

All of this is far too sensible for the speculation forum though, so I advise SHOTR immediately, because that descending wedge on the 5 minute chart looks really bearish... or is it a triangle thats bearish... If only I was a trader...

The supply of shorting opportunities is endless. You cannot fail to make money.
2033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Near term price prediction. on: January 26, 2014, 03:24:20 PM
$828!!! SHORT HARDER

Everyone who doesn't engage in the newly devised SHOTR martingale max leverage strategy will be sorry.  Quote me for truth.

I share this and have been stacking, however I would not be shocked if we see even lower prices.

Exactly my feeling. Any further sell off just means a better entry points over the coming months.

2037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Near term price prediction. on: January 26, 2014, 02:29:20 PM
My anticipation of that day consumes me with a fervour indescribable to the human mind.

My mind boggles at the potential variance in this textbook sideways channel.

I could be 5% up or 5% down, The possibilities - they are endless! Oh how the adrenaline races.

Unless of course BTC busts all kinds of nuts on your face and takes off again.

Not that it would *ever* do that.

It never does that.

Never.

You are just another clueless dreamer with zero acumen who has seriously lucked out.

Whatever Bitcoin does, you are wealthy beyond your wildest dreams.

All in all, you are one of the very worst people to be giving out advice on how to invest in Bitcoin. Someone entering Bitcoin now, could be looking at a 50% haircut or possibly even more and actually. They could even be looking at a little dip into double figures again. No, don't laugh, I am being serious. If all you avaricious wankers can consider Bitcoin hitting 1 million, I can consider the much greater likiliehood of it dipping under $100 again.

I think Bitcoin is predominantly heading down. Therefore I shall be mostly shorting Bitcoin until there is so much blood and despair around, that it can only be ready to die off altogether, or shoot back up. If I can ride a $30 upswing at some point in between then I will take it. Catching a $30 swing can mean $500 profit to me. Yes Please! £30 down swing is even better, cos I leverage myself out my tits when I short.

Of all the 'drivel' that I have posted, you have chosen this thread, where I called a near term move perfectly*, to take a pop at me. That tells me that you must be feeling stung.

*NB. Nope, I haven't cashed in my short yet, we may head back up to that $815 - £820 where it was proven that there was zero interest, and perhaps the whale-rats will pass some bitcoins about their own wallets at this range to try and encourage sales.....but I don't see it happening. $817 is your new top for now. Now, take note that 817 is lower than 845 which is lower than 850 which is lower than 910 which is lower than 995. In other words interest in buying Bitcoin is falling away short of each previous high point in the price.

WhAt cAn EvEr Be HaPpeNiNg tO bItCoiN?

To be stung, one must expose themselves to the stingers. Keep on showing your leveraged tits! Those juicy melons are prime stinging fodder.
2038  Economy / Economics / Re: HSBC restricting cash withdrawals in UK on: January 26, 2014, 01:38:42 AM
Banks in the UK have had cash withdrawal policies like this for years. Getting out anything over £500 is a pain.

nah i've took around £2k a few times not even a flinch, I do anticipate there to be a 'red flag' value but I just haven't hit it yet.

in answer to the "who needs that much money" poster, if you have to get money from A to B in one day then cash is king...

WAHHHH I AM GOING TO LOSE LOTS OF MONEY!!!

Well, I banged this nail right on the head u fkn tosser.

Bitcoin did, exactly what I said it would do. On the screenshot that I removed, you would have seen my leveraged short sell at 816.32. Rarely do I time tops so well, but that was fkn clinical! Will see how my exit goes when I wake up tomorrow...hope it dont go tooo much lower than my exit point.

Only thing I got wrong was how fast it flashed by. I expected a right old queue of mugs to be lining up to be laden down with some overpriced whale coin....but no-takers after the pump it seemed.

Give me your Email and I shall send you a screen of my profits at your expense.

EDIT: Perhaps u are so touchy cos you are one of the mugs than ran into that blatant bull trap?

My head is so bang. Much regret. So history.

I still have BTC that cost me a dollar, screenshot that bubba.
