We don’t know but if that Russian really made and earn money thru the supercomputer then its possible but you must own it so you wont ended up in jail. Supercomputers are made for a more advance and faster transactions, and if mining would be installed on their system maybe they can earn a lot of bitcoin from that but still it will depend on the situation, we can’t be fully sure not unless someone is doing this already. You can mining bitcoin with supercomputer but reward receive is not coherence with your computer working, mining give less reward today and keep have lower price after we are receiving coin from mining. By the way, I don't know who is McAfee and what is the reason why people believe in him. Even without him, the Bitcoin price will surge into the market at the right time just patiently wait for it.
He is a self-proclaimed billionaire, hence the reason people follow him.... the reality however is that he only has a couple million left in the bank, very likely obtained from the people he scammed by promoting scam ICOs. What I find worse than some noobs following him as if he is some sort of a guru, are the influencers within crypto like Pompliano who keep offering McAfee a platform to speak and increase his following.... it's time for this nonsense to stop. OP didn't state if he has plans for long term hold or he just wants to use Bitcoin as storage. The Bitcoin halving hype may not really create much positive impact on it's price. same thing happened during the halving of Litecoin. i think we should not generalize all case in ICO.not all them was bad and harmed many investors.we still see many ICO projects that have good quality inside.and if we trapped in scam projects, we have to ask to our self,did we analize this weel before.every day we see many projects occur ,so we must analize it carefully to avoid fake projects.

Yes its really happening. Having interest in every investment is what we goal to have. To make profit, to have interest will encourage us to invest more and earn more bitcoin. We cannot just lend it to someone or a certain platform without something to have. Even those exhanges we use for conversion has certain amount of charges. Its also there way to earn.
For me in the first place, there's no reason for us to lend our bitcoin to entities like banks. What they utilize is mainly fiats, and in order for us to implement this kind of transaction, we need first the Government to fully take into consideration that cryptocurrency should be adopted in their system. Not literally, transitioning their fiats to crypto, but they should first allow their systems to utilize crypto. In this case, we know that the bitcoin we lend to them will rotate to the economy and will bring sufficient interest for us as well. Only with bitcoin investing become interested for earning bitcoin with investing or trading, we need money first looking for which one big chance to get profit between bitcoin or altcoin investing, looking with crypto market today bitcoin can invest your money now. As for me, banks don't see blockchain as a treat anymore but a pathway to successful and instant transactions. The collaboration of the blockchain technology and the banking system is actually beneficial for both parties. I believe that if more people will be aware of crypto, more banks would still adopt it in the future
Banks may see crypto just a faster mean of transferring money but they cannot ignore its potential of increasing their wealth as well. If banks themselves are holding bitcoin or even they are offering customers trading with clients’ crypto and taking certain portion of profit, I don’t think so this will cause any economic loss to banks. In short, banks joined with cryptos can change the whole world economy and make it more stable. Also this man claims that he knows real satoshi and gave him some time to reveal himself or if he won't do that, John McAfee will and that will be bad for satoshi.

As for me, it's better if you'll look for good projects here in Bitcointalk forum. You couldn't trust telegram channels these days because most scammers are using it to catch new victims.

I once couldn't believe that I had the chance to buy Bitcoin at $300. I was there, looking at that prie for days because we were sitting there day after day trading at sub $300 after falling from $600 months before and I thought to myself that it's not worth it. Every month Bitcoin was losing value and I had some coins that bought for $600 and thought to myself i'm already in deep shit. I wasn't going to sell but wasn't going to make my situation worse by buying more because what if next month it fell to sub $200?
Long story short I didn't buy. Could have been worse, could have sold everything for $300 and regret it even more. I'm fine with what I did but there will always be that thought lingering in my head "what if?".
Every one can't believe with bitcoin price years by year, maybe if you share with bitcoin price of facebook always how us at year with how bitcoin price before, get much profit if you can save bitcoin for long term.
