2021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good sign for market on: January 06, 2020, 04:02:31 AM
For the past four years we have witnessed a massive drop starting from last week of December when it comes to the price of bitcoin but this year it was not the same case, does that mean that we have good days ahead? because even during 2017 bull run it started in November and lasted till the beginning of 4th-week of December then the price started to drop.

I think this is a good sign for bitcoin.

We cannot expect the movement to be that way, market is very dynamic that even experts are having a hard time to tell when is the right time things are going to happen, all I know is the time has come for Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency to improve, I'm following the price every hour for a sign or hint but still no indication of a big pump ahead although the price is much better now.
2022  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC which price it's heading next? on: January 06, 2020, 02:34:05 AM
Yea, i'm looking at the $7.6 to 7.8k resistance zone as well, if it breaks and hold, we might expect a bull run to i think 10k

There is a price rejection around $7700 and in that area bitcoin having hard time to surpass it because of the selling pressure. The price of the bitcoin is still consolidating in the area between $6000-$7700. I'm waiting if the price will breakout or breakdown. If the price breakout then it is a good sign that the bearish market will en but if the price break down then it is a bad sign because the demand is decreasing.

The resistances zones are always a good catch to watch. To be honest, I would be very surprised if we revisit the low 6k$ again. So the more interesting target is the upper resistance band at around $7600-7800.

I was thinking that March is the breakthrough month for the market, I'm not  analyzing based on the market past history but more so on the general sentiment of investors, some investors are late buyers and this happen two to three months before the halving, but I'm pleasantly surprise that we have a little pump ongoing, but I still doubt if this is the start.
2023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin will move up if there is a war with Iran on: January 06, 2020, 01:27:08 AM
Seeing the world economic conditions, will bitcoin move to all time high if there is a War with Iran ?
Oil and gold prices are already up within last few days. Will Bitcoin will be next?

It's a war against one country I don't think it will escalate into a world war, it could help the price to go up, people in Iran might think or are now buying Bitcoin for a possible migration, US will not back down, we could see another Iraq, if this escalates, but there is no way Bitcoin will go down because of this, it's just one part of the region.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jessie Vargas vs Mikey Garcia on: January 06, 2020, 12:26:15 AM
I believe Mikey Garcia can take Vargas, even Spence had a hard time knocking out Garcia, Garcia is a more skilled more hard puncher than the two, it will end in a split decision for Garcia as both of them can take a punch and good defensive fighters.
Both fighters will respect each other in the ring and will not try to go for slugfest.
2025  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Trend for 2020. on: January 05, 2020, 09:16:23 AM
We're less than a week into January not much has happened so far. In 2019, we saw the total market capitalization reach over $300 billion with volumes as high as $100B.

Contrary to popular opinions for 2020, Bitcoin would reach a new all time high. Thanks to an increased in hashrate, an the block halving that's coming soon. That aside, what do you guys think would be the overall market trend for 2020. Are we going to trend up, down or sideways and why?

Will love your hear your insightful feedbacks and contributions ✍️

Although I have high hope but it's to early to tell, I would like to take it one step at a time, but hoping that we can have another all time high, it's been a long time that price was stuck in the $7000 level and if reach the $8000 level that will be a good sign, the price has been struggling for several months now, I'm bullish that we will trend up.
2026  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thought I got scammed but now what? on: January 05, 2020, 07:00:37 AM
Hey everyone-

I should start by saying I know VERY LITTLE about trading.
A little over a year ago, a trusted friend was referred to invest into a company who does the trading for you. She ended up getting a nice return and referred me. I was skeptical but because she was a trusted friend and had already received a return on her investment, I decided to give it a shot.
I invested several 1000's and then the company said they got hacked a couple months later.
Anyways, I figured I had been scammed and just let it go. But a week ago I just thought I'd email to see if I could get my return back.
I didn't expect a response but I got one.
So here I am now. They tried sending it to the blockchain address I created but I had no idea what I was doing and I received an email this morning that they (the company who does the trading) tried to send over the the transfer but the wallet address was not eligible.

They said my bitcoin wallet needs to be activated with company wallet.

Clearly I have no idea what that means and I also did not add any banking info, etc in my blockchain because the last thing I want is for my bank account to be compromised.

Can anyone help me figure this out so I can get my money back?

Thank you!

This sounds new to me wallet activated with company wallet and wallet not eligible to receive, it could happen if you send them a different wallet and not a Bitcoin address, you don't have to add your bank to your blockchain account I never did and so are the others, something is not right here, better clarify it or better send them an address coming from different wallet like Exodus or Electrum.
2027  Economy / Exchanges / Re: New Exit Scamming Exchange? on: January 05, 2020, 04:36:08 AM
Bad news guys and girls, I'm getting a 504 Error again.
Try it again, just like others me as well can verify that the site is working and not showing any error message. If you have doubts with them now, you should move your funds somewhere you are confident with.

The exchange is live again, this is really one of the risk of every exchange, they are subject for attack if they can target big exchange, what more on small exchange, I'm glad that they have countered the attack, and if you don't have confidence on small exchange on it's security then go for big ones, but Graviex seems, can handle the situation.
2028  Economy / Economics / Re: How the situation in Iran might impact Bitcoin on: January 05, 2020, 01:44:02 AM
I would like to hear what people here in the community think about it.
As far as I know, when there is a war, people are taking their money out of the stock market because they fear of instability.

I wonder what a situation like this may cause to the crypto market.

The scenario in Iran could explode there could be a second wave of attack, if that happens those in Iran who knows about Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin could have an option to convert all their wealth to Bitcoin, and make a safe haven in other countries that are Bitcoin friendly, this is something the community is watching and waiting and validating that Bitcoin is a safe haven for a country that is facing this kind of situation.
2029  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are we going to have a profitable bounty hunting in 2020? on: January 05, 2020, 12:27:34 AM
Last year was not a profitable year for bounty hunters like us, but as we are embracing a new year, a new hope has live.

so do you believe that we will have a good bounty year? if yes, why?

There will be if there are good projects coming in and investors are interested to invest on it, it's investors that has a say if a project will succeed or not, and if the market improves there is a good chance, scam projects and bear market are two reasons why investors stop looking for a new project to invest.
2030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs normalizing Cryptocurrency on: January 04, 2020, 01:36:20 PM
The number of active Bitcoin ATMs around the world grew by an impressive 56 percent over the last 12 months. Although the spread of the real-world Bitcoin trading locations doesn’t necessarily suggest increased rates of adoption, it will help to further normalize Bitcoin in the eyes of the public.

There are now 6,387 Bitcoin ATMs around the world. This time last year, according to figures taken from CoinATMRadar, the number was just 4,102.

Such good movement so that more people joins Bitcoin market and potential investors enters the trend.

This is probabily a good way for advertising Bitcoin and say to people it's the most important cryptocurrency coin and it's going to become even bigger in the future.

It's something happening right now people, join the Hype Train Wink

What more positive signs you think this brings to our Community and your friends, family members?

That's a good sign actually, people still think  that Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme, when it's not and the presence of the ATM will have them think otherwise, I believe it's part of the adoption, and an important part of adoption, we expect that the number of ATM double within a three year period, by then the coming halving will now have an effect in the industry.
2031  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 04, 2020, 01:10:57 PM
May 14, 2020

134 days left

Nobody really motivates me for hold bitcoins, everyone talking about day-trading on twitter and reddit.  I know that the price will rise and bitcoin will be a skyrocket again.

You can create a budget for day trading, altcoins and gambling. you can get your %10 -%30 or lose all your money in shitcoins. doesn't matter, it's not a bad thing.

But you have to create a bitcoin budget for holding forever. Create a cold wallet now and start to save.

your wallet has to be one way road, you can send bitcoins to your wallet but never let yourself to spend. You can use your other budgets. that's why we have them.

increasing it does not has to be huge. It you can save your bitcoins bit by bit.

Trust me, create a cold wallet and start to hold now. It's not hard.

Yes this is the best time to hodl your Bitcoin and add more, but after we see the price and realized profit, we should also know when how to sell, until now I still have fear that Bitcoin will have another all timer high and get busted again by dropping again, we should hodl coins for long term and at the same time sell some when we realize that we are in profit, we don'[t want to be in a bad scenario where we are late in selling again, as it could happen again.
2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters answers needed on: January 04, 2020, 07:59:55 AM
for me it depends on the manager who holds the project, if indeed they have good trust then I will believe even though the manager has not updated the spreadsheet because there are some managers who do updates at the end of the campaign.
Yes I second that some managers only updated member's stakes at the end of the campaign, they will just do so if the rules say that they are going to update the spreadsheets weekly, they are doing this, so they can address all complaints one time when they update the spreadsheet and not every week, check the trust of the manager even if they update it every week.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling on Mobile Devices on: January 04, 2020, 12:50:37 AM
Nope that not my cup of tea beacuse at times due to small display size and my fingers are also little big so it can happen that I want to press something but something else only gets pressed and thus you end up losing the money . So I don’t prefer on phones .

I have the same experienced and opinion, some gamblers prefer this way and these are people who are very much hooked on gambling and they want to gamble anytime they want, in travel, in a restaurant or any place that they can you need to be good at your cellphone to be able to gamble using your phone, I can't keep with that.
2034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: No matter how successful a bounty project is...... on: January 03, 2020, 12:23:54 PM
Successful bounty projects are lead by the good manager and team also am properly respond to you for the all queries. Mostly they will not postpone any plan what they have in their road-map.
So simply watch the project with these idea and I am sure you can able to pick the right bounties to make returns.
One of the problem of a legit bounty campaign are the too many bounty hunters participating in the campaign, they are not limiting, the participants so after the campaign, campaign participants ended up not getting what they expected to gain, I have one campaign that I expected to receive at least $200 but ended up getting only $25 after so many months of campaign.
2035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: January 03, 2020, 06:26:55 AM
As the state of economy does at times really influence levels of crime and social aspects in any community.

Right now under the fiat system there is a major and growing sides of rich and poor.
With many times people who are "without" getting into trouble. Such as committing crimes. Getting into substance abuse etc.

If society or at least communities are able to become more independent and based their markets all on crypto. In which they follow the principles of crypto? as in prevent inflation and create an equal or at least more fair financial market. If that was the case/

Would this create a more safer community? would this cause people not to resort to crime? substance abuse? etc?

Your thoughts why or why not?

The rich can always buy all they want while the poor cannot and had to find ways to accumulate more, nothing will really change just because they implement Cryptocurrency into their system, and a criminals will always commit a crimes because a criminal has a mind of criminals even if they are rich or poor, we are still going to rely on the government for peace and order.
2036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be thankful than hate him on: January 03, 2020, 03:18:49 AM
Haters will be haters and you cannot please everybody and this is a fact, man was created to not get satisfaction on anything, expect these haters, these people are born with this defects and they find ways to be good at what they are doing, the best answer to this is IGNORE them, they are entitle to their opinion but not to the fact.
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to exchange big amounts? on: January 03, 2020, 02:46:47 AM
I think so. But I never changed a big amount on any non custodial exchange. I once changed 6-7 ETH that's the highest amount. And it was in chengelly. If you want to change 10k or higher then you should try some big exchange like binance or huobi.

Exactly, people, who want to exchange higher amounts they need to do it from the potential exchange like Binance and Huobi. Even without KYC, we can easily withdraw 2 BTC per day through Binance exchange, so it is good to exchange your funds with the potential exchange.

Yes that's true big exchange will always protect their reputation, and as long as they are trusted money will just comes in, they want traders protected, so if you are trading a huge amount of Bitcoin don't go for lesser known exchange, go for big exchange like Binance or Kucoin or Huobi, they always address every issue that comes along the way
2038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2020, 12:46:40 AM
Is this possible?  Example you lend bitcoin to something similar to like a bank and they give you interest on it?  Like how now they give you 2% interest?

I heard binance is doing something similar like that but it was like 10%?

Too risky in my opinion if they offer a very high interest, then it could fall into something like an HYIP, and there's also a risk of the site running away with your Bitcoin, we have a lending section here you can offer to lend people but only trusted people with collateral, your Bitcoin will grow so why give it to others just kept it in your wallet.
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: UNFAIR TREATMENT OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS on: January 02, 2020, 12:49:53 PM
It is so unfortunate the kind of bad treatment unleashed to the bounty hunters by the project team in the recent days. Hunters are treated lesser than beggars by the team despite working days and nights in promotion of the project to its success.
Most teams forget that the work of the hunters is responsible for bringing the investors which contribute fund to finance the project. The team instruct the bounty manager to change the bounty rules unfavorably to hunters hiding under the rule that they have the right to change the rule as they are pleased. The expend the bounty duration without increasing the bounty pool. They delay the bounty distribution in fear of dumping which most of the time do not come from the hunters but from the investors who got outrageous bonus on their investments or the team members who doubts the objectives of the project.

The bounty hunters has to find a way to stop this unfair treatment as it is already becoming unbearable.

The only way is to stop participating, there's not even a guaranty that these coins/tokens will have potential in the market, so it's better to stop promoting these projects, it's like a gambling now, there is no guaranty that you will get rewarded and there's no guaranty that their tokens/coins will have value at all, investors are not entertaining ICO anymore bounty hunters should also stop.
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why you need to store your money in your hands! on: January 02, 2020, 12:17:05 PM
It is reported that exchanges began to freeze accounts for having been on the accounts of a "dirty" Bitcoin. Moreover, we are talking about Binance and about the Bitcoin, which was there 5 months ago. Sad Thus, exchanges can freeze any amount of funds in order to cover cash gaps simply by tinkering with their user's transaction history. If suddenly a user once bought from someone a “dirty” BTC on OTC, send it on the exchange and then conducted operations with other BTC there for a long time, then at one moment he can get a ban and the exchange can don't give him money as much time Exchange wants.  Embarrassed I think it can affect everyone. so I share this info with you guys because I recommend you hold your money ONLY in your own wallets! so be careful and Happy New Year!

Now that's another reason why people should stop storing their coins in exchange apart from hacking, it's unfair if they found out that you are involve in a dirty Bitcoin transactions and they limit or freeze your account, when you just a buyer, so do an investigation on where you are buying your Bitcoin but most of all avoid exchange in storing your coins.
