20203  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im New, Help please. on: November 27, 2013, 01:16:40 AM
Faucets and similar sites are are, but you only are going to get tiny amounts which is not really worth your time. Once you're out of newbie jail, check the Services out and see how you could earn some free bitcoins by renting your sig etc.

You could also try sell some of your stuff on the marketplace to earn a bit of coin.
20204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How easy is it for others to rip you off when buying BTC from you using paypal? on: November 27, 2013, 12:59:47 AM
Try find someone reputable on here that buys with paypal. There are lots of honest, genuine buyers who love the ease of using it, but unfortunately paypal are bastards for not investigating chargeback fraud at all. They should pay the money out of their own pocket, especially if you have proof via the blockchain. I've bought all of my coins so far with paypal, and as much as I would love to sell coins via it, I personally would not want to take the risk.
20205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should have put money in Litecoin instead.... WTF is this s***!! on: November 27, 2013, 12:43:38 AM
Also I notice a trend, when the winter comes, people start heavily mining with GPU's at this time.

Good idea to warm up your house and not waste heat energy.

That's what exactly I'm doing right now....lol....GPU mining and CPU mining. Got 8 computers in my room on...lol....My electric heater is on the corner of my room collecting dust....lol

My bro has a tiny little box room and the radiator only half-works so we power up his xbox to heat it haha. Soon warms up.

Be careful when you power up that heater again. Dust can accumulate and set on fire. At the very least scorched/vaporized dust doesn't smell very nice.
20206  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: In urgent need of 0.01 BTC. I would pay 15 US$ paypal instantly. on: November 27, 2013, 12:36:13 AM
To be honest, I think the majority of people asking for money on here raise red flags.

But why waste your time trying to try scam somebody for tiny amounts though? In the wise words of Tom Hardy, Musn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling

Wow, that bastard is making quite a profit from everyone else, damn. Sad

Can't knock the seller capitalising on it. People pay premium on ebay. The price I've seen some lots of Feathercoins and Infinitecoins go for is ridic.

I am a native Englander, but am pretty Northern and sound like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzAD2GLfaNU

People from my own city sometimes fail to understand me Sad

You can buy 0.01 BTC on ebay for slightly less than $15. Here's one for $13: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/0-01-BitCoin-btc-bit-coins-delivered-within-24hours-/231101781973?pt=UK_Coins_World_RL&hash=item35cebd57d5
20211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know anyone in the REAL WORLD who has bought bitcoin? on: November 26, 2013, 11:54:02 PM
No, but it's still early days. Cryptos have only just really started to break through into mainstream media and still only get little coverage, but they're waking up. Ask 100 people on the street if they've heard of bitcoin and I'm betting only around 20% will have. That figure will hopefully be well over 50% next year.

It is 'risky' to a certain extent, but what investment isn't? People also often think it's risky because they don't understand it fully, and the way it's described to them often sounds like a scam or pyramid scheme: "Hey, let me tell you how I made 7X my money by sitting in front of my PC" blah blah blah.
20212  Economy / Speculation / Re: To what time trade/buy people? on: November 26, 2013, 11:43:51 PM
So, everybody talks always about "wait, until China wakes up". But do there really wake up and buy after the first coffee?

They buy after they pull down their trousers and squeeze out their first morning dump (which is always glorious). They then go straight back to bed. They're also trolling.
20213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should have put money in Litecoin instead.... WTF is this s***!! on: November 26, 2013, 11:35:32 PM
It was inevitable, people will always go to the next best thing when something gets too expensive. There always seems to be a small knock-on / trickle down effect when each currency rises.  There's probably a bigger mark up to be made backing one of the other up-and-coming cryptos now whilst they're still cheap. FTC is still under 50 cents and I bought in at 12 cents so it's worth a pop in grabbing what you can afford.
20214  Other / Meta / Re: THIS MEMBER IS PM SPAMMING ME BAN HIM on: November 26, 2013, 11:20:42 PM
I also got one from this user earlier and reported it as spam. I guess it's obvious to say don't click on the links.
20215  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of your investment holdings should be in bitcoin? on: November 26, 2013, 11:04:22 PM
As a general rule I'd go with investing only whatever you can afford to lose. It's so tempting to plough more and more into BTC though (as well as other cryptos).

The joke is that there is no joke haha
20217  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.4BTC/month just by posting! on: November 26, 2013, 10:41:44 PM
So you mean to tell me, someone can make 1200+ constructive posts/month?

I'm gonna give it a damn good go haha. I got made redundant recently so all I do all day is sit online and apply for jobs whilst keeping an eye on the crypto markets and various forums. I also have no life.

You could make ~3840 USD, if the payouts stayed the same... In a year.

Hopefully I won't need a job then haha. I definitely wont if BTC (along with other cryptos) sky-rockets in the near future.

"The 36-year-old from Pontypridd and two women had been due to stand trial at Cardiff Crown Court. Watkins pleaded guilty to attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under 13 but not guilty to rape. This was accepted by the prosecution. Sentencing will take place on 18 December.

Was just talking this very morning with a friend about how I hadn't heard anything about this case, then about ten minutes later I got a call from another mate to tell me he'd just pleaded guilty. Seems he was into some really sick shit.
