Arsenal have been said to be going for Milan midfielder Tonali. It is said that Milan want 46 million pounds for him too. Tonali transfer would be really great for Arsenal for the defensive midfield. He is much younger than the current players and he has a really nice talent too. But this transfer wouldn't be good for Milan because they would have only Bennacer left in this position. They will need to find a defensive midfielder as good as Tonali because he has been one of the valued players for the team.

When Erik ten Hag can prefer a defense duo like Varane - Martinez I really don't know why he is just insisting on using Maguire in the lineup. He is even the captain of this team indeed and that's even more difficult to understand. This team don't deserve to have a run like this. Hopefully the manager realizes the main problem of the team and fix it in no time. Otherwise there is another horrible season waiting for them. They have great players in the squad. They just need to take advantage of this nicely.

Selçuk Geçer her ne kadar absürd tahminlerde de bulunuyor olsa da 20 lira tahmini gayet mantıklıydı ama inanmak istemeyen çok oldu. Şimdiki gidişat ise 20 lira yönünde. Günü kurtarma amaçlı adımlar atılmaya devam edildiği sürece zaten doların daha da yukarı seviyelere ulaşacağını tahmin etmek zor değil. Seçime kadar 20-25 lira aralığı bir değer görürsek şaşırmayacağım örneğin. Seçim sonucuna göre de artık neler olacağı şekillenecektir.

PSG and Manchester City are obviously the biggest candidates to be victorious in this tournament. I'm saying this even though Real Madrid have been the dominant the team so far and they are the last champions at the same time. Normally the first two teams I mentioned have the best squads in the Champions League. They were just lacking something. It was about strategies for PSG and having a completed team for Manchester City. I don't know about PSG yet but Manchester City have that kind of a team now as I said.

And Manchester United really lost the match by 1-2 home. I know that it is very early but the fans have already been used to seeing this for a long time. People are impatient from now on and they just want to see success from their team. Erik ten Hag has a really big responsibility now and this wasn't a good start at all. I hope that he finds out about the main problem in the team and fixes it quickly. This team shouldn't struggle like this when they have a very capable squad.

When it comes to if it will be Real Madrid's season again I can say that it won't hopefully. I mean that at least we shouldn't see any domination this time. I just want to see a solid fight for the title between them and Barcelona that's all. It is difficult to predict which side would make it to the title at the end. But I just want to see the usual competition between them back. There is an interesting situation for Barcelona now as they might not be able to register all of their new players to the league and I hope they don't have a problem like this.

There is still time for Ansu Fati to become a very significant player surely. They have players like Gavi and Pedri as well who must be convinced to remain in the team in the long term. Because these two players also are very crucial for Barcelona's future now. Xavi is creating a brand new team so they will need every single one of their skilled youngsters. When it comes to this season I'm also waiting for them to fight for being the champions as most people. This season is hopefully going to be a lot of fun.

Manchester United are making people disappointed at the moment. They are 2-1 behind in Old Trafford and I really don't know why they are still struggling this much. There are around fifteen minutes left for the end of the match. The second half is under control of them actually but I doubt they can make a comeback and win. They should consider themselves lucky even if they score the equalizer. Ronaldo is in now but I don't know if he can make a difference. Because he is nearly getting fit.

Great start for PSG absolutely. They are going to be the number one candidate for the title already of course. Clermont weren't a team that can hold them back in this match. PSG demolished them by 5-0. The league would most probably be easy for them again. We will see the other big teams of the league about how capable they are too. Monaco already started with a victory against Strasbourg in a quite tough match. They missed the second spot in the last moment last season but maybe they will do better this time.

Trabzonspor'a Şampiyonlar Ligi grup aşaması yolunda canı gönülden başarılar diliyorum. İlk maç 16 Ağustos'ta sonraki maç da bir hafta sonra oynanacak. Trabzonspor ilk maçı deplasmanda oynayacak ama açıkçası Kopenhag'a karşı dışarda da olsa aşırı büyük problemler yaşamayacaklarını umuyorum. Kopenhag bence artık eskisi kadar güçlü bir takım değil şu an. Fakat takımlarımızın Avrupa arenasında bocalamasını da malesef çok görebiliyoruz. Umarım tecrübesizliklerine gelmeden güzel bir sonuç ile turu geçebilirler.

What an incredible start by Bayern Munich! It was like one of the best openings to a season in this league so far. They literally crushed Frankfurt by 6-1. As the opponent was Frankfurt I was still doubtful about a comfortable win for them. But Bayern Munich just destroyed them in the first half. Lewandowski's departure doesn't seem like it has affected them badly for the Bundesliga. But the case might not be the same in the Champions League later on.

When it comes to what team would achieve the Champions League title, I believe in Manchester City to do this in this season. They have added a wonderful striker like Haaland to the team and they are complete now. Guardiola might need some backup plans this time as they failed last season again. He really has a great system for his players of course but they might need to try something new sometimes in the Champions League as well. The environment here is way different than the Premier League.

It looks like I underestimated the Fulham - Liverpool match.  I was like that it would be a comfortable match for Liverpool but it was completely the opposite actually. They had big difficulties in even keeping up with Fulham about the score. Liverpool's performance wasn't that bad actually but they were just not good at defending today. This is of course just the beginning of a new season and they would find out where they are making a mistake to fix it. |

Bu akşam da evlerinde kendileriyle benzer bir başlangıç yapmış olan Waregem ile oynayacaklar. Waregem onlara karşı son yıllarda pek bir varlık gösterememiş bir takım aslında. Bence bu Club Brugge açısından sağlam bir galibiyet almak için önemli bir fırsat. Normal sezonu birinci bitiremeseler bile playofflarda yine fark yaratabilecek bir takım Club Brugge normalde.

Congrats to Chelsea for finishing the Cucurella transfer quickly after Manchester City's unsuccessful attempt for him. He is hopefully worth the sum Chelsea have spent to sign him. They would sell one of the left-backs in the team now most probably. That one can really be Marcos Alonso. Actually he is a really good player for Chelsea still. But maybe Alonso himself wants to leave then the team wouldn't have too much chance to do about that. After this transfer we will see who Manchester City will go for.

The Serie A is of course not much comparable to the Premier League now. There is a huge quality difference between these leagues. There is a way big difference when it comes to sponsorships etc. also. On the other hand, the Serie A has started to become more attention getting for spectators. Because we have started to see some real competition between teams for the title finally. We saw two different champions for two seasons in a row. If it goes on like this then maybe we can see this league rising in the standings more.

Fulham - Liverpool is not a very interesting match to me if I'm to tell the truth. Because there is a significant difference between these teams as we already know. Fulham became the champions in the Championship of course but the Premier League is much tougher. They have finalized nice transfers too but this might still not be enough for them to even steal some points from Liverpool. We all saw how Liverpool performed against Manchester City in the Community Shield match. They should be able to start the league by a win.

Messi and Neymar started with goals. There is a feeling inside me like they both will show much better performances in this season. It is crucial for the success of the team also of course. Mbappe can't carry the team always. They need to be complete as a team to achieve the titles they aim. I don't wait for any surprise in the Ligue 1 this season. The Champions League part is the one I'm curious about the most. Galtier's choices will be followed closely and we will see if this move for PSG is good or not.
Just winning on first match after PSG defeating Nantes last few days ago I don't think have good beginning for PSG on domestic league or Champion League, I know with goals contributing from Neymar and Lionel Messi after PSG winning 4-0 from Nantes, but couldn't compare when PSG playing on Champion League. Still need to show more than what did by Lionel Messi and Neymar when success scoring goals against with Nantes, on Champion League all team have great mentality exactly what happened with PSG after defeating by Real Madrid on second leg, there talk about how Madrid mentality on Champion League than PSG. Of course you are definitely right that winning a match in a domestic cup doesn't prove anything for their bigger goals yet. But at least we witnessed these two players to have a really strong start. Whether it is a cup match or not, playing like this would help them concentrate on the bigger matches more. Another important thing is that the trio in their attacking line should always continue to play in accord. In case there is some disagreement this would lead the team to a bad form. |
