Well I'm not good in programming, but anyway Scrypt hashrate is 10 times slower than X11 on my GPU for example, but it runs hot. scrypt is one of the best optimized algos out there. that's why it runs hot. it hashes slower than x11 because tha algo is inherently slower. a single hash takes more instructions and, more importantly, memory accesses. when groestlcoin came out, its power consumption was very low. the kernel was so slow it is now 3x faster and power consumption has gone up to the same level as other algos, like keccak for example. Hm... need to check updates for ccminer. |

That's strange... Maybe for AMD is ok, I don't know. But different algos on my GTX 770 warms different... For example scrypt burns card around 80C after 5 min mining, X11 around 70, Fresh, Quark etc around 65-67... Include moment when I have custom Noctua fans on GPU at 800-1000 RPMs. |

no worry, it's a reference design card, been running that hot for more than a year without problems.
Maybe it's not so critical but anyway it's psychological barier for me.. |

Dev is gone and people think it matters if he is chinese or not. The only thing that matters is that there is no way to contact him to ask if he is coming back. So some people are selling and others are holding. Seems that I have seen this before.  I hope he will be back because I like to see what he can do with it. I dont hold any coins. I sold all Spreads, just wanted to see price and read thread, seems like I did right before dev is gone. |

Viruses can be found also in malicious BTC wallets on the web, so the fact we are launching a new crypto doesn't mean we are going to spread malware or viruses around. Have faith, that will be rewarded. I'm talking about some faggot who copy/paste threads and then change link to wallet with trojan. If you're not him, that's good. He already created few ten threads and still creating. |
