For this particular game ; English media had a very colonial mindset about any Subcontinent team so they didn't bother to cover this game and same goes with the broadcasters.
I don't want to generalize anyone... but BBC in particular have a very bad attitude towards Indians. I've been watching BBC news regularly for more than 15 years now, and I have noticed this several times. On the other hand, international channels such as CNN, RT and DW are more balanced in their coverage. That said... it is a great loss for the Indians that the match was not covered. We will never get to see that amazing innings from Kapil Dev. I think they will change their decision on this matter when many countries supporting crypto and first world countries are accepting it mean while qatar has banned it . I think it is a political related decision. But it is only for now, if they see that cryptocurrency or blockchain will be very useful and embraced by large countries then they don't have a choice but to go with the flow and accept cryptocurrency wholeheartedly with joy .

Exactly, lockdown isn't even a good way to control this thing because as a young country, we have too many problems than to focus on a single virus and lockdown indefinitely.
I think we should formulate ways to build the immune system, segragate the youth from the old and open up the markets and make sure the youth don't come in contact with the old since mostly people who are dying are above 70. This way we can make sure we control the disease. A complete shut down is just fraud and no help.

Yeah ICC and all members had a meeting today and they are looking at 3 possible scenerio..
1. Follow same schedule for t-20 world cup.
2. If not then next window is Feb - March 2021 ( in that case ipl will take Oct 2020 slot) -- which you mentioned-
3. Last option reschedule WC in 2022.
3rd option seems like the best one in my opinion. As I mentioned earlier, 2020 and 2021 are marked by COVID which is why 2022 seems like the ideal time to host the tournament with a crowd watching which is mutually beneficial for everyone. All sporting event schedules have been disrupted in a major way which is why ICC needs to adapt appropriately to the situation (Doubtful). Only option No. 3 looks feasible at the moment.
Hopefully most of ICC members will agree on Option 3
I hate to say but It seems to me that every cricket board favoring 2nd option as it fulfills big players's interest; such as ICC, CA and BCCI (If IPL happens, if not then they are loser too). Rest of the cricket boards doesn't have much choice because if by any chance T-20 world cup gets cancelled then small boards can face some serious financial challenges, in one word Bankruptcy... World test championship is messed up completely. Ideally ICC should move dates of WTC final to 2022 as few teams already cancelled their tours and they are not sure - how to distribute match points- yet.
ICC to distribute the points..... Oh no...Not again  India and Australia are clearly the top two teams in the World Test Championship and no other team can match them. This is not right England can also do some good in this season if they able to hold series and New Zealand is also in good position still many things to come for this Test Championship and they will no distribute points as they can go 2022 for complete this all. This needs to be looked and addressed as well. Also, they have played quite a few games and due to which they are on top as well. So I think whenever the ICC has to decide the final etc they need to ensure that each team has exactly played same number of matches and then only the comparison is done else one country plays say 10 and other 15 so it would not be correct as per me. May be ICC needs to get it extended which looks a better option now. Right now ICC is not working on equal basis its working on political basis so many problems and complications appearing they need to think about few things which need some good intention from them then hopefully this test championship could be more interesting and we have some better and healthy cricket but first they need to think what they want and how to manage this all. |

In my country we didn't realize a huge drop in the oil price. There is a small decrease of about 0.20 cents but this is not totally the change that we expected. The price stays high due to the high taxation that is imposed from the government. This is really shit by many governments as many are not going to give any incentive to common peoples same happening in our country they are still selling on very high price and taking very good profit which is not good in this lock down electercity price also very high as they are not adjusting fuel cost as its happening in world. |

The pandemic in Italy is quite severe so if it really happens that the match will continue in June then there will be no spectators until the end of the season because to anticipate being infected with the other possible to the players also in safeguards and sterile will be even tighter for prevention.

Still its going to take some long time and surely we will able to have crowd in stadiums in 2021 no this year as its very risky until Vaccine give some good results and authorities sure they can handle all things without any problem. |
