There are very strong ties between Barcelona and Messi. In fact, Lionel Messi needs to make some sacrifices so that these ties do not break. However, without doing such a thing, he will have no trouble finding clubs that will pay much more than his current salary. One of these clubs could be Manchester City and another could be Paris SG. If Barcelona are having financial problems, they can solve it by trying to convince the most important player in the team. There have been excellent relations between Barcelona and Messi in the past.
It seems that Messi and Braselona have already agreed on a contract extension and rumors about this appear constantly, but for some reason it has not yet been officially announced and the timing of these announcements is constantly shifting, which leads to some reflections that not everything is as smooth as they are trying to present to us. In any case, Messi will be forced to take a salary cut and he agrees to it, because Barcelona's financial resources are not so brilliant and the League rules about club budgets are already coming into force here, so most likely the delay is due to these nuances. Therefore, most likely a new contract will be signed, although I would love to see the Argentine in another championship, when he would have to leave the comfort zone of his native club  Wink

Is RBR the quickest team with the pit stops?  I feel like there’s some politics going on with the FIA’s annoucement that they’re looking into making the teams do slower pit stops.  How much of an edge would RBR lose if these 2 second pitstops were disallowed?  A quarter of a second per race?
https://www.racefans.net/2021/06/24/fia-to-force-f1-teams-to-slow-down-their-pit-stops/
I think that these new rules is nonsense. Especially because FIA decided to add this pit stop rule during middle of season. And offcourse, teams which makes fastest pit stops (Red Bull) will be affected most.
On the one hand, it looks a little unfair when such changes are made in the middle of the season, because it is desirable that the rules are set before the season and the teams clearly understand how to act and what to expect. On the other hand, these pit stops for a few seconds gradually distort the very idea of pit stops as an element of tactical struggle due to their short duration and this can really already affect the safety of racing from a not very positive side. Therefore, I do not approve of changing the rules in the middle of the season, but I fully approve of the direction of thought.

Not really, I mean defenders even at the best do not go over 100 million as far as I know (maybe I am wrong) yet I have seen so many players sold over 100 million because they are offensive players, and even better yet now there are even more in the talks, Kane and Haaland are in talks to be over 100+ very easily as well. I am not saying defenders are cheap, all I am saying is it is easier to get a good price for a good offensive player whereas it is not that easy to get that money for a defender.
The greatest defender in the world right now versus not so great offensive player worths around the same. Like VVD is the best defender in my mind (not saying he is, just according to me, you may think someone else) and he worths as much as Sancho and Sancho worths half of what Haaland worths. See the difference? That is why defenders do not really worth the same.
The fact that good defenders are cheaper than good strikers seems to make it easier to find and buy a good defender for a club like Barcelona? Indeed, for a long time it has been customary that defenders are cheaper than good strikers or midfielders, and this has its own logic. Because a good defender is mostly a destroyer, while good midfielders and forwards should be players with non-standard thinking who should create scoring situations and score goals. And as you know, it is always easier to destroy than to create.

Without big higher or not ask by Real Madrid for Mbappe PSG have remember left one year contract for him and without any deal for extended next year Mbappe become free transfer player. I think left one year contract is not good ideas ask higher bid to interested club for Mbappe, but PSG could make new sign's contract from Mbappe I think they can reject all ask bid from many clubs.
The situation is beginning to become very interesting, how the departure of the French national team from the European Championship and the miss of Mbappe can affect the transfer value of the player and the subsequent prospects of the young talent in Paris Saint-Germain. I think that Paris Saint-Germain will try to take advantage of the situation to strengthen their position in keeping the player in their squad. I am also not sure that Real Madrid, as the main contender for the player, will force the situation, because the financial situation in football is not stable and this also applies to top clubs, because it was because of this that the failed adventure with the Super League appeared. It seems that the interest shown in Mbappe by Liverpool will remain just an interest.

France is OUT of the Euros as Kylian Mbappe's shot was saved by switzerland (christ I even predicted that happening, wish sportsbooks had a market for that kind of thing  Cheesy), the penalty score was 4 - 5 before he went to take the shot. A well-fought out game by both sides and Switzerland deserves their place in the quarter finals. It must be pretty embarrassing for France right now, being the world champions and their star striker misses the penalty.
I wonder how many 1x2 bets were screwed by the draw.
I began to have serious doubts when I saw who was hitting the last shot at France. I am not sure that the decisive blow should have been trusted to such a young player as Mbappe, even if he is insanely talented. Such situations strongly affect the psyche and can ruin a career. Switzerland looked decent and deserved the right to extra time, and if a penalty had been scored, then Switzerland could have counted on winning in regular time. But as it often happens, an unforgettable penalty played in favor of the French national team, when Benzema quickly scored two goals, and Pogba seemed to bury Switzerland's hopes with a beautiful third goal. Therefore, it is an honor and praise to the Swiss that they equalized the score and eventually reached the quarterfinals of the tournament.
2046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 27, 2021, 11:58:37 PM
the Bundesliga really lacks leadership diversity. Bayern is of course a cult club, but I do not understand what is the reason that they have won the national cup for many years in a row. After all, the financial component between Bavaria and Leipzig / Borussia is only 200 million, (not to mention the fact that on average Bayern players are two years older than the players of the above mentioned clubs).
The reality is that when a team has money, and makes good financial decisions, that usually ends up with them making even more money. Bayern did exactly that, look at Barcelona for example, a decade ago Barcelona was the most feared team and they once won sextupe, that is 6 cups in a season, nobody I can remember did that anytime recently, league, national cup, national super cup, champions league, uefa super cup and the worldwide thing cup, they won it all.
Look at how they are financially, they are nowhere near where they suppose to be, why? Because they made horrible financial decisions that led them here. Which is why I keep saying that we should not be looking into Bayern as just a good club or a cult, we should look at them as how they managed to keep that financial flow going for so long because that is the hard part that other teams fail at.
Bayern is famous not only for the ability to spend money correctly, but also for correctly eliminating Bundesliga competitors by buying their leaders Grin However, there is no denying that the club's structure works like clockwork and the money earned really brings even more money. Another question is that when you operate with large amounts, the price of mistakes increases and no club is immune from this, which we are seeing at the moment, including the example of Barcelona. It's just that the situation with the pandemic played the role of a perfect storm, which exposed the problems of those clubs that drove them deep away from the eyes of outsiders at normal times.

I believe when you see Max as the "favorite" in race this many times in a row, that kind of says something. I know even after today there are tons of people who believe Hamilton could make a comeback and to be fair the early races are a bit more favoring the Red Bull side, and we are getting to that "top speed matters" tracks once again, however it is not really that shocking to me that if Max really can hold it together and do not have any accidents like baku race or any mishaps, literally just finish rest of the season no matter what, then he could be champion very easily.
We are going to see Hamilton make a mistake again, or mercedes could make one because they haven't been that great this year as a whole team, and that is where Max keeps all of his earnings so far. It is nice to see these races once in a while instead of like every day in some other sports, it makes the races so much more fun.
There are still quite a lot of races ahead to make far-reaching conclusions, so everything can change and Mercedes will be able to catch up with Red Bull in terms of racing pace. But the fact remains that Mercedes cannot win for the fourth race in a row and Verstappen's Red Bull looks better both in qualifying and in the race itself. Another question is that after it was officially announced that Ferrari will not modernize the car this year and all the finances will be thrown on the car next year, it turns out that hardly anyone will be able to interfere in the competition between Mercedes and Red Bull this year.

The only fun part of the game was in the latest 20 minutes.
Nothing special about this Belgium.
The next game will be almost a final Belgium-Italy will be played this Friday in Germany at the Allianz Arena.
That's right. The match wasn't an exciting as I thought it would be but things got heated in the last few minutes because Portugal began to throw everything they had at Belgium but it wasn't enough. They had limited opportunities and couldn't find the net whenever they get an opportunity to score.
As for Italy vs Belgium. I can't say for now but one thing I know for sure is that I would he looking forward to the fixture. Italy has been one of the best teams in the tournament likewise Belgium. Imagine when they both go head to head. Too much uncertainty, I like it.
Belgium continues to play in economy mode, inflicting a minimum of shots on the opponent's goal and while this brings results, however, Portugal had its chances to move the match to extra time, but Mrs. Fortuna clearly did not notice the efforts of Cristiano Ronaldo and company. Belgium lost first de Bruyne and then Eden Hazard in this match due to injuries, and in case of the severity of these injuries, this may not play the best role in the upcoming match with Italy, especially since Italy, despite the longer time of the match, had one day more to restore the physical condition of its players.

I have heard some rumours like Bayern Munich are very interested in signing Romelu Lukaku this summer. It looks like Lukaku doesn't have any intention to go back to the English Premier League. He may be eyeing Lewandowski's place. But Lewandowski had much better season than Lukaku. It wouldn't be easy for Lukaku to replace him that easy.
Besides, Lukaku was saying that he didn't want to leave Inter this summer. So I don't expect a transfer like this to happen honestly.
Romelu Lukaku's transfer to Bayern Munich is a deal i'm not seeing happen because they already have Lewandowski who is better than Lukaku, except they want to let go of Lewa. There is no way they will put two good central attackers together in a team, either one will be kept on the bench and the other will play. But I don't see that deal happening.
There were rumors that Lewandowski could leave Bayern already in this transfer window, despite two years before the expiration of his contract. because I would like to change the situation after eleven years in the Bundesliga. Another question is that Bayern are not eager to sell Lewandowski and hope that he will be able to break Gerd Muller's record of goals for the club. But I don't think that this is likely in connection with the purchase of Lukaku, because neither Inter nor Lukaku seemed to express a desire to interrupt their cooperation, despite the difficult financial state of the club at the present time.

https://www.marca.com/en/football/transfer-market/2021/06/25/60d6195346163f20488b4593.html
According to Marca, Liverpool have enquired about the availability of PSG centre-forward Kylian Mbappe.
This is the first time I hear that Liverpool also have interest in Mbappe. Some questions run in my head. I wonder if Liverpool are planning to sell Salah or Mane. Because let's say that this transfer happened. Then, I feel like one of them will be gone. But above all, I don't think that PSG will be selling Mbappe for any kind of offer to any team this summer.
Being interested in the possibility of signing a football player and signing a contract with a football player are different things. I don't think that Liverpool is in the first row of priorities for both representatives of Killian Mbappe and Paris Saint-Germain, although it would certainly be interesting to see such a transition. Anything is possible, but I also think that this transition in this transfer window is unlikely for a number of reasons, including the reluctance of the club itself, however, we may not know all the details of the ongoing negotiations. but it seems that the decisive word will be for the representatives of the player, and there will certainly be those who want to pay the necessary amount.
2051  Economy / Economics / Re: When everybody tell you take take risk with money on: June 25, 2021, 11:58:13 PM
Everything you do in life implies a risk and everything you do has an economic effect. Trying to "not risk your money" is simply not possible in a normal life. Besides, time and effort among other things are basically interchangeable for money - with plenty of friction admittedly. You should be thinking of how to take the right risks - something simple to express, but something that take a whole life to master. It is far easier to say avoid all risk, f*ck this and that.. than to learn of your mistakes and evolve.
The level of risk is different and, for example, instead of losing income from investments, you can lose a significant part of your investments. Therefore, you can say as much as you like that nothing happens without risk, but constant risk is likely to lead to losses, so anyone needs to measure their hopes with their capabilities. However, a high level of risk also implies a higher level of potential income, so everyone decides for himself what level of risk he agrees to for the sake of making a profit. And we must always be aware of what losses may be, and not just what profits will be.

Well everyone comes to a phase when one does not perform but that does not means that he is not a good striker anymore. I am sure that Kane will back in form once again. As for Kane to City is gonna be a long battle. Levy will not let him go to any PL club for sure so one thing that Kane could do is to play until contract expires and don't sign any contract extensions if offered but still the current contract ties him to Spurs till 2024 and by the time contract expires he would be already 30'ish and I doubt there would be any interest on him then.
Problem is that there isn't much interest from other clubs outside PL. Real Madrid is focused in young talents, Barca is focussing on free transfer as of now, Italian clubs also don't have any interest in Kane at all. PSG however could be a potential club but I also haven't heard of any transfer links till now.
I do not think that Kane's game at the European Championship will have a significant impact both in the direction of Kane's downgrade and in the direction of downgrading positions, although of course the tournament is not going in the most ideal way for the forward. I think that the situation with Kane should be resolved already in this transfer window and Tottenham should reduce their ambitions a little. Although, of course, joining the fight for a Paris Saint-Germain player can change the situation, but it seems that PSG has not yet shown clear intentions for a transfer, unlike Manchester City.

Tomorrow there is a game between italy and austria and it seems another easy win for italy if they play with the same style like in the group stage, they dominated all their games and without receiving any goals i think we will see a similar game tomorrow.
I would not say that Italy will definitely win an easy victory over Austria, although of course Italy is the undisputed favorite in this confrontation. But let's not forget that the games in the playoffs are a completely different story than the games of the group tournament with a completely different level of responsibility and without the right to make mistakes. In a single match, anything can happen and you can dominate the whole match, but concede a goal and lose, especially since Italy has not faced a difficult situation at this championship that requires super-efforts.
2054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 25, 2021, 11:11:10 PM
PSG can have 2 strong center backs if Sergio Ramos joins. With Ramos and Marquinhos, I believe PSG will have a better defense.
But remember Ramos is getting old. I think he's useless in the long run. Maybe in 1 or 2 years he will retire from football. Although I think paying him too much it would be a waste. He does have experience, is well trained and has a big name. So wherever he's going he probably won't be as long as his time at Madrid. Investing in younger players I think is better even though he doesn't have much experience.
The most important thing is that Ramos gives results in the coming years and Paris Saint-Germain will have this in mind if they sign a contract with Ramos, especially since the club does not need to pay for a transfer and the player comes to the club as a free agent. Investing in young players is a good thing, but it takes time and implies some risk of not getting results later, so big clubs are engaged in buying players who have already formed at a high level, even if it is expensive. At least, Ramos seems to have told some of his former teammates that he is moving to PSG.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 25, 2021, 10:48:20 PM
If Manchester is willing to do that why would they pay 150 million pounds for Kane instead of 75 million EUR for Haaland? Kane is very strong, no doubt about that but Haaland is five or six years younger and at least equally strong. I think 150 million pounds for Kane is a bit too high, don't you guys agree? Given what the price levels have turned into in recent years, I would see him more in the 120 - 130 million range at maximum.
Because haaland is not 75 million? Dortmund wants 100 million more than that for Haaland, latest is 174 million if I am not wrong. Believe me if Haaland was 75 million euro, I would find 10 banks to work with me and create a club and buy him right now, literally create a club from nothing, or buy out a club, and buy haaland for 75 million because you can sell him for 150 million the next day.
Chelsea has been offering 150 million for Haaland for a month, there is no official response to decline but Dortmund is basically saying anyone that pays 174 will get him. Kane is cheaper in that regard. However 150 million for Kane is a lot more than he should be given, not because he is not worth it, but he is not that young anymore, you give him 150 million and you may never get to sell him again so you are stuck with him, I would say 100 million is a lot understandable for that reason.
I also believe that 150 million for Kane in the current pandemic conditions looks like too much money and Manchester City is unlikely to agree to such a thing, despite the fact that Josep Guardiola announced the signing of a contract with Kane as a priority in this transfer window. All the same, it was announced that negotiations between the clubs were suspended until the end of the performance of the England national team at the European Championship. I also don't think there are any clubs that are willing to pay 150 million for Kane. Nevertheless, there will clearly be more applicants for Haaland on such a scale of prices.
2056  Economy / Economics / Re: When everybody tell you take take risk with money on: June 24, 2021, 11:57:07 PM
You can take risk with your life, you can take risk with your computer.
But nobody would tell you to take risk with them, but they all tell you to take money risk because why?
This is basically the same, risking your money is taking risk with your life as well. There is a fine line when it comes to investment and taking the risk necessary.
When it comes to BTCitcoin anyone who invested a few thousand dollars when it all started made a fortune and those are not risky investments but taking a chance by investing in the new market but then there are many that sold all their investment and even house and invested in BTCitcoin and it is a risk that some took hoping to make a fortune and hopefully everything paid off.
There are different degrees of acceptable risk and each person has different limits of risk tolerance, but I categorically do not support when a person invests the last money in risky assets in the hope of getting fabulously rich, and bitcoin is undoubtedly a risky asset. You can believe as much as you want in the subsequent growth of bitcoin and it will really happen, but in other terms, and you may need money here and now or you will need to pay off debts by a certain date and you can fall into a trap when you have to sell an asset at a big loss for yourself.
2057  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: June 24, 2021, 11:46:14 PM
Crypto and banks have one very big difference and that is their structure itself.
Banks are centralized while crypto is decentralized. This itself is enough explanation as to why they aren't working with each other.
Banks are often used as a third party whenever there is a transaction from Person A to Person B. With crypto, banks isn't needed because they can just transfer without them. With this, the revenue or profit of the banks will be affected heavily thus they don't want cryptocurrency. One thing more is that they can't control it that is why they don't want it.
The activity of banks is not limited to just mediation in transactions between person A and B, and this should not be the basis of their activities. Banks are enterprises that, instead of producing goods, are engaged in accumulating money, and then extracting profit from it. The interests of banks and cryptocurrencies may not coincide in some ways, but there are no cardinal contradictions between banks and cryptocurrencies. Everything depends on the further actions of financial regulators in different countries. For example, Chinese regulators prohibit their financial organizations from dealing with cryptocurrencies.
2058  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros and Bezos have paid almost zero taxes on: June 24, 2021, 10:59:47 PM
They have ways to not pay taxes and they are a big company so I think that it's pretty understandable that they didn't pay any taxes. Remember that US has lobbying so we should get used to companies not paying taxes.
Lobbying for lobbying is a discord and lobbying does not necessarily have to be aimed at non-payment of taxes by large companies or very rich citizens. This is precisely why there are such branches of state power as the executive branch and the legislative branch, which must ensure that there is no abuse of such things. It is one thing when entrepreneurship is encouraged by low taxes, and it is quite another thing when large corporations with hundreds of billions of income enjoy such benefits.
2059  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 24, 2021, 10:39:48 PM
In my own opinion money just became the center of the evil deeds of the people because we are living in the world where money is the only way to purchase goods and services, money became the man's center or source of happiness because it can give him a ticket to buy anything he wants, whatever he liked to do he can do with the use of money, greedy of the people also take them to the evil deeds. It is a sad but a truth that we are now need this money to be able to live, to be able to purchase our foods. Today, there's no free you need to purchase everything and that what makes people treat money as their God.
It's just that in modern human civilization, money is quite a universal equivalent, thanks to which you can get goods and services. It is much more convenient to engage not in the natural exchange of some items for others, but to introduce something that replaces all this. The idea turned out to be so convenient and productive that it conquered continents and states around the world and the economy is built on this. If there were no money in its current form, precious metals such as gold, which were the prototype of modern fiat money, were blamed with exactly the same success earlier.

Life is always changing, just look back 30 years ago when barely anyone was using the Internet or cell phones. And now we can do basically everything we need with our cell phone and just stay at home. Nobody needs to buy a huge desktop PC anymore, a tablet or laptop will do the same job while taking no space away. While being part of the change it seems like only small adjustments to our way of live, but during crisis times like corona, we realise how much our life is actually changing. I like the new normal with working from home more.
When the smartphones first came in to existence (around 2 decades ago), there was a lot of criticism from the "experts". They were saying that mobiles will never be able to replace the laptops and desktops. But in almost no time, smartphones poached in to the share of computers. Nowadays, the majority of users browsing internet use smartphones. Even for watching movies or movie serials, smartphones are being preferred. One reason is that time is scarce now and a lot of things need to be done simultaneously while traveling or working. Laptops are not suitable for this purpose.
Mobile phones really can not displace laptops and desktops, quite another thing is smartphones, which are simply a smaller version of laptops and desktops and therefore have much greater mobility  Grin Personally, I see little pleasure in watching TV shows and movies or conducting professional activities on small smartphone screens, but not everyone can afford to have a large TV screen, display, and most importantly, financially, too, due to lack of space. That's why billions of people stare at the small screen of a smartphone, while spoiling their health and vision.
