2041  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit $3k-$4k by end of 2017 on: August 24, 2016, 10:17:53 AM
Bitcoin price rise will occur before halving in my opinion.Miners need to stay profitable.I see a spike to $1500-$2000 by halving then a collapse to $800.A steady rise back to $1500 by end of year. It will hit $4k in 2017.

i will not believe in $4k next 2017 but it could $1500

last year people yelling "bitcoin will hit $2,000 at least" etc etc ,
but yet until now 2016 the price of bitcoin did not reach even for $1,000 ,
i always doubt on this kind speculation unless there is a reliable factors that support this ,
everyone expectation are like that , so lets do something real action to make it happen
2042  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: August 24, 2016, 10:08:46 AM
I wouldn't know about that since the only reason I use bitcoin is as a currency, but it could be a good long-term investment.
yeah it would definitely be one of the best investments you can have at the moment, i hope that the bitcoins i have will make me good money
thats why im trying to put as much money into it as possible in order to make some decent profit in the near future

Well if you think that your move is going to be a good way to earn profit in the future then you are going to have decent profit in the future. It is just like you are going to do nothing but by you are going to hold it and it is better if you are going to invest for a long term investment you are going to invest bigger amount than 1 BTC
I would say that's a good idea, instead of savings in the bank just buy bitcoins now and hold for the future, but always remember there are two outcome in the future either you succeed or you failed so be careful and put only the amount that you can afford to lose.

you can't say it is good or bad because these two are two different things, keeping money in a bank means holding your funds safe with a small amount of profit annually with no risks whatsoever. but buying bitcoin falls under the category of investment which is risky but the profit that you can gain is a lot more.
every risk you've taken always worth to the outcome ,
put your money in the bank = gained a little profit only but there no risk ,
put your money in bitcoin = you gained and lost value , sure it has a high risk but has a potential to gain very high too ,
and some people believe bitcoin will keep growing and rising , thats why they encourage to keep buying no matter what.
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: August 24, 2016, 09:45:40 AM
Well yes it can be considered an investment and because its high risk that's why its also a very risky one.

Basically any types of stock or forex trades can be considered high risk investments also if you don't know what you are doing,.
no it is not , gambling and investment are pretty much different ,
you can not compare it and consider gambling as high risk investment ,
in gambling you will not receive your capital back if you lost but investment you can still expect to get your capital back ,
for me gambling and investment are different at ll.
2044  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: August 24, 2016, 09:41:43 AM
If that means that I can avoid paying taxes than yes
lol everyone want it ,
however i've heard bitwage are the only company who can convert your wage to bitcoin ,
i just did not know yet how it work actually ,
if they automatically convert our wage to bitcoin then , i assume it has limited to certain company only who have supported by bitwage.
2045  Economy / Gambling / Re: Scam casinos list / not paying casinos on: August 24, 2016, 09:35:10 AM
this is very useful information for those new to gambling

thanks for the information
the thread like "scam casino list" are popping up every year ,
none of them refered as a useful thread unless there is a moderator created this one ,
the source of scam site must valid and come from trustable person ,
i believe this thread will not survive for long time enough.
2046  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: August 23, 2016, 11:49:40 PM
That people who said bitcoin is dead, maybe because their bitcoins get scammed by hacker. For me, bitcoin is not dead and i'm sure bitcoin has a good future and a good price.
it is reasonable enough to say bitcoin is dead everytime its crashed ,
a lot of factors support the issues strats from too many scam attempt , like an exchange stolen users funds ,
and they use the coin to dump the price , once it hapened bad things spread to the world ,
and a lot of investor pulling out their invested money in bitcoin then the end is near.
2047  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 23, 2016, 11:38:16 PM
Investing is a good idea if you have capital available, a good planning and there is a promising opportunity.

For me it is just better if you are going to keep on saving. Because if you are going to be a good saver for sure you are going to get good amount to start out your own investment. And if we are going to relate your saving of bitcoin then that is going to be a good way also of doing both, saving and investing.
yeah i think it would be better if you try to save first. Therefore it is best when you already have an income. if you think you already have enough money then it's up to you to invest. investment risk. but the investment will provide a great advantage to be rich

basically for me saving and investment are a similar thing ,
both have same meaning and same important to your financial management ,
the different are only in a risk part , when investment has a lot of risk and saving don't ,
so for you who did not love to take a risk better to save money and for you who love to risk something better to invest it.
2048  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: August 23, 2016, 11:27:42 PM
it shouldn't be like that. if you feel you are being forced by yourself to work and work, then take a little break. it's important to find the right balance for earning money/educating yourself and having a nice and fun life.
thats true, work shouldnt be a mandatory, though unfortunately it is for the most of the people as they work just for money
yes you don't have to leave your socializing activity because of bitcoin work ,
indeed by trading you need to monitor the price for 24/7 as there no holiday/off day in bitcoin ,
it is really important to keep you in normal situation , not like an addict to bitcoin ,
bad at all if you did think bitcoin are more important than your social life.
2049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: August 23, 2016, 11:17:26 PM
i think trading with very small amount is very dangerous and risky, small investment in a business mean losing it simply. if you want a profitable trading you must invest a bit amount of bitcoin or your fiat money, if you are investing a good amount you are increasing your profit percentage.

That's not fair, during the initial days its better to start with small amount. This will help us learn better about the way of making profit, also the loss can be minimised as our investment is low. Once getting some good knowledge can invest high amount to grab the best profit.
i don't understand why he is saying that trading with very small amount are very dangerous and risky ?
as everyone know small amount are worth nothing to get profit in trading ,
it is only the way to get learned without risking too much money ,
if yo think to make this small amount for trading , i guess it is not a good idea.
2050  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: August 23, 2016, 11:10:38 PM
Nope, i can't do this cause it's not accepted in my country and all i can do is online shopping but i don't like to buy stuff online so i am not using bitcoins actively.
i cannot do that too unfortunately though i hope that in the near future there will be way more bitcoin shops that will allow me to do that
this is the actual problem of bitcoin , a low number of bitcoin stores available ,
the development to open a new bitcoin store looks very slow recently ,
and there low support regarding this too,
makes really hard to find a store to spend our bitcoin daily.
2051  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: August 23, 2016, 11:01:32 PM
i can not say that i am buying bitcoins right now but i want to ansewer the partial question.i like to put my money in bitcoin because i belive that bitcoin really brings me profit and i am 101% comfortable with it but i was feeling like tourchering while i was with banks
but with you have invested fiat money to bitcoin you will feel insecure ,
yes everytime you see the bitcoin price chart and it shows dropped price ,
you will always think you have lost money , and "i should sell them all right now before its too late" ,
its normal as bitcoin are home of risk , and you know what? because it is worth.
2052  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: August 23, 2016, 05:48:31 PM
be happy at least even in a shot period of time you got a record that once atleast once in your life you got a chance to have 10,000btc not anyone can have the opportunity. But that's impossible so just live with it cry alot and when you don't have more to cry . Think on how you can win back what you lose. Anyway Earth is round someday things will turn into something we want and by that time we already learned on what happened.
need a little bit long time to recover that much money ,
i will just start yelling some bad words for hours and walking around ,
kick whatever things in front of me and go mad screaming ,
and one thing sure i wil never for get that moment forever in my life.
2053  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: August 22, 2016, 11:49:37 PM
Im exited as i saw a thread from the owner of megaupload and he is coming with a new project related to bitcoin, this thread has raised my expectations about bitcoin on the next year, if bitcoin achieves more people, milions extra people demand and supply will start working at bitcoin, and price will raise fast and keep stable.

The price would surely rise when the community gets new investors in a large number but i guess it wont be able to make the price stable, because if new investors buy bitcoin which will make it rise on the other side a lot of people will sell their coins when they see a rise so that will not let it be stable.
but with the number of auctions conducted that the steps taken by the investors to buy bitcoin cheap, hopefully hackers will not be using bitcoin so the price can easily go up.

For the bitfinex exchange hack, the bitfinex has reported to law enforcement, so there is a possibiity that the hacker will be caught.
i highly doubt, bitcoin thieves are really hard to catch and i doubt that this case is going to be different though i hope that he will get cought
bitcoin still as destination for people who have a bad intentions ,
a lot of people trying to create a big bitcoin company and ended it run away with customer money ,
we have seen a drama like mt.gox, cryptsy and the latest bitfinex ,
it is showing how the bitcoin future will run , yes a dark future waiting for bitcoin.
2054  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: August 22, 2016, 11:40:40 PM
I don't really like banking system and how goverment controle my earning and other stuff, so i decided to start using bitcoins and become undependent in this case.
yeah i like bitcoins because of the fact that i dont need to hold my money in banks then, and i can have my own money for myself
but this also means that you are responsible for it. and if you handle it badly it is your mistake. not every body likes that.
and sometimes people loving bitcoin just because they don't want to be taxed ,
they need to launder their fiat money and bitcoin are the right answer ,
it is the bad things you can get from bitcoin actually ,
so still few people have and think bitcoin as a serious investment place or even as a currency to spent.
2055  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: August 22, 2016, 11:27:42 PM
You can't regret buying bitcoin. It's a great investment and the only way for it is up, so buy some! Don't use all of your money, use something like 40%-50%.

it's a good method to invest we can buying bitcoin now at current price with our 40% money if the bitcoin price down -50% we can buy back with the rest of the money from our capital. so if bitcoin price back to normal rate or rise with 100% growing we can get double profit.
be optimistic and keep buying bitcoin no matter what are like gamble ,
people always think about the rise of bitcoin price only ,
never think how bitcoin price possibly crashed so hard to the death ,
you need to learn more , as many aspects causing bitcoin price move up and down, so don't believe it all of your heart.
2056  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will reach $4000 after halving ? on: August 22, 2016, 11:11:29 PM
4000$ is very much & will take it long to be happen. Bitcoin is increasing its value fastly but foor many scam, hacking etc are reducing its value. So, it will take long time to reach 4000$. May be 5 or 10 year's even more. I don't think we will see bitcoin at 4000$ cause bitcoin facing many problems of every step.so, it's quite hard to reach 4000$ but it is not impossible.

I think the price of bitcoin will not reach $4000 for the next 1-2 years. Even after the halving, the price of bitcoin still under $1000.
it is more likely dropped to $400 instead up for $4,000 ,
let's talk be realistic , current bitcoin price are on around $580 ,
and many times the price get dropped much more than get up ,
so what will makes the price get up ? more investor? where we can get more investor?
2057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: August 22, 2016, 10:55:01 PM
No no its surely not a scam, for now its really safe currency and will be, but who knows what can happen in the far future.
nothing can guarantee bitcoin will live forever and having glorious days ,
everyone know it and it is a horrible thing honestly ,
people feel insecure as their money can dissapeared too anytime ,
but bitcoin are so far so good , don't think negative too much .
2058  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: August 22, 2016, 08:16:40 AM
Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

of couse I do. in my religion, Islam, we are told that we, humans, and all of things in universe are created by Allah, the God. so we just need to see all around us and think, can human or another creature create all of these? can we create mountains, plants, animals, or ocean? no we can't. even if we all gather and use all the best technology, we can't create a little fly (it's mentioned in Qur'an, but I forget what chapter)

beside that, I found so many proofs in Qur'an about Allah. so if you want to know more, jist read it in translation of your language.
i believe in god when i say " god show your miracle now! " and its did it ,
but so far none of your gods can do it ,
i am a practical man , i only believe in myself .
the rest are just story .
2059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: August 22, 2016, 08:01:52 AM
yes sure, because i can not spend my time to see coin price every time. i just need right time to sell/buy.
you can always set an alarm to your mobile phone ,
once the price reached certain amount you will be noticed ,
with this way you may will never miss a ingle moment of the down price to buy and the rocketed price to sell ,
the rest are up to your research abouth what coin you have to buy / invested to.
2060  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Microlending as a way to get started? on: August 22, 2016, 07:54:18 AM
IS a risky method, some members can use as collateral hacked account. Is a good idea if you only lend money to trust members with a high rank and trust.

it is not risky if you know how to spot these things. for example you can find out if the password was recently changed here in forum security log: https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php

also you should always ask for a signed message from and old bitcoin address.
the most important are be careful on approving loan ,
you can always looking for reference on people who want the loan like how good their reputation ,
how old they are being active in this forum etc , you can learn all of it once you have an experience ,
so better you start a low amount loan and get your experience.
