2042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Having losses? Or people are not going the right way on: August 27, 2022, 09:23:34 PM
Most of the people got in during the peak of the market when the hype is so strong.  It is obvious that when the hype fade, the price will correct itself, and those who invested in it will surely suffer losses.  Those who invested in BTC are definitely going the right way but most of them lack knowledge and patience so they derail from the correct path and give up their holdings at a lost.  If they only intended to hold for a long term, I think the survey won't have the same result.
While those who invested on altcoins that are shitcoin and are only driven by hype, are definitely in the wrong way.
It’s always a challenge to invest in the right coins as we can’t predict precisely as to what coins will survive for long, others may have been lucky and invest into bitcoin while some end up investing in altcoins and shitcoins because they find them more promising. Although i’m not saying that investing in altcoins is bad, but it’s a always a high risk investing in them and yet there are no guarantees that they will continue to surge and reach new all time highs. Unlike bitcoin, if you are just patient enough, hodling bitcoin for long term is proven to bring huge profits in the end.
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 26, 2022, 05:54:06 AM
KD staying with nets is definitely something I would love to see. I mean they already didn't had a terrible team. Kyrie can shoot, KD we know can shoot very well, Joe Harris can shoot and Seth Curry can shoot, plus Ben Simmons can drive inside and pass out.
It's actually a smooth feeling to read that news that the KD trade and rumors have come to an end. It's best for all of the teams that have been in the news that showed interest of taking him.

I guess the buzz made by the team will also give that huge benefit from having those ticket sales for the very first days and opening of the league again for the matches of Nets.

Maybe a good advertising / marketing to have more interest from the fans knowing that KD will stay.

Or, it can backfire as annoyed fans might boycott him since he created that drama. But let's give the Nets another shot, mentioning those
info above gives fans a reason to watch them out.

We can't say if they'll be able to blend together and have a smooth season, all will be witness when they start making the plays and
see if there're sparks with both defense and offense.

Both scenario is totally possible but I'm thinking that the 2nd scenario mentioned above is the most likely to happen because of Kevin Durant's drama recently that end badly as the management has been connected by it. We can't know for sure what would happen this coming season or how would the franchise handle them in the training camp but one thing is for sure though, there's a lot of awkwardness that will happen in the first few days.

Bantamweight: Rodtang Jitmuangnon VS Savvas Michael
I'm interested to watch Rodtang since he's an experienced in Muay Thai, skillful, have a good record and very humble person, I think he will easily win against Michael. If he won, then I think he will match up against Kiatmuu9 and both of them from the same country e.g. Thailand. Though it wouldn't have so much hype, but I expect Rodtang will become the champion on Flyweight Grand Prix.

Yep, watching Rodtang is indeed entertaining because of his performance especially when he let's his foe kick or punch him in the chin. Aside from that, there's a also high probability that Rodtang will win against Savvas as he has more experience than the latter and I think it will like a walk in the park for him. He can't be considered as a pound-for-pound if he's not that good though.

This is my 1st time watching a fight actually I don't know if I would include him on my pick but if I have some time later maybe I would also look for his highlight fights and his opponents as well in comparing their combat power and speed that is,

Really? That's good, I see that now you're also exploring ONE, you might get curious but we used to tail each other in NBA discussions. Anyway, I'm still having a hard time knowing and figuring out the rules because UFC and ONE have a different set of rules but I've seen Rodtang numerous times and there's many videos of his fight available in the internet even his highlights too.
2045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 25, 2022, 06:31:35 PM
KD staying with nets is definitely something I would love to see. I mean they already didn't had a terrible team. Kyrie can shoot, KD we know can shoot very well, Joe Harris can shoot and Seth Curry can shoot, plus Ben Simmons can drive inside and pass out.

So, if they built a team where it is Kyrie-Seth-Harris-KD-Simmons five out there, which would be very difficult because it lacks center but they can just rest one of them and put a center in there and just change whoever is resting, that way they will always have 1 center, 1 amazing passer Simmons, and 3 shooters at all times. That's a team that can fight for a title with the right coach if you ask me.

Indeed that's good to see how KD and kyrie build up again the Nets and its another chance for them to shut off the mouth of people who doubt about their willingness to cooperate with their existing team due to their past controversy. Lets see how they can work well their chemistry since this is one thing lacking to them last season and if they can adjust with this for sure they are not an easy team to beat.

That will be the biggest challenge for the whole franchise this coming season because they surely know that it's not an easy task to get these 3 drama queens in their team to be cooperative and set aside their egos to build chemistry. Also, Ben Simmons is also a puzzle that the management needs to solve because Simmons acts up whenever he wants or if he gets offended by any player on the team just like what he did when he was still on the 76ers.
2046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 25, 2022, 05:57:29 PM
^^ Venue is also very important for this fight, gamblers will come out on the fight week so hotels and casinos will have to take advantage of it. Again, we have seen Crawford and Floyd in the public together and I reckon it could be in Floyd's hometown and for sure Floyd as well might be indirectly making money out of it. Good if they can add good undercard in this fight, but the selling point is still the main fight. Knowing how deep PBC's stable though, maybe they will have another big name to be included here.
It would be nice if they will have a good undercard, since it's a big fight, they should entertain the crown with a good undercard. I can't wait to see this fight but until now promoters' have not stated yet the date and venue of the fight. I understand what they are doing, it's probably their marketing trick so people will continue talking about this fight.

I echo your sentiment. It might be possible that the promoters are really observing how fans will demand for this

possible upcoming fight. Both Crawford and Spence do have fans that will be glad to see the fight live or even in PPV. It should be great
if we will good undercards fight while waiting for the big event.

Still, in the process, I guess, negotiations are rolling and everything will be depends on how both camps together with the handlers
will announce the date and the venue.

Building a hype towards rumors is how they can test the waters on the way their fans react to this match. And since this already create huge noise maybe we can see this match up to happen. Also I'm sure this one will get huge global sales since both of the fighters are famous and a hot piece right now in boxing world so this one most provably can sold huge volume of tickets and this one will take advantage by their promoters.

Yes these two great boxer are very known where ever you go in the world and for sure like you said that these will be the best fight in this year both fighters are undefeated in their career so there's no reason that they will feel okay if they will loss. So for now they trained hard or even harder to make us satisfied in their upcoming fight. And about the tickets for sure many tickets will be sold because many people want to watch actual fight.

Many fans speculate this to happen because this will be the biggest fight to happen by the end of this year or maybe next year so I guess many people now are exciter to see who between them are the strongest and will be undisputed fighter on their division. Hopefully there's no announcement that they postponed this discussion or their planned fight because I'm sure many fans will get dismayed for that.

We sure do hope that this fight won't be dragged too long and that it will happen this year because time is not on Crawford's side and wouldn't be that fun to watch anymore if one of them is not in their prime, we don't even know why this deal takes so long to get done.

People are already speculating too that Spence is playing and using Mayweather's book to drag the fight to maximize his advantage over Crawford. Nothing's clear though but surely Spence image to the public is getting uglier if this fight goes longer than expected.
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: August 25, 2022, 05:32:36 PM
Haney doesn't need to change his style though because that's his forte and it might be too late if he turns into an aggressive fighter from a defensive kind of boxer, he already reached far enough because of that style and became the youngest undisputed boxer in history of four-belt era.
Well if I were Haney, I will be worried if I wanted to become a huge PPV superstar like Canelo. Haney's style and zero knockouts since becoming a real champion have a limited market. But he and his team know this because they tried to fight dirty and brawled against Linares and Jojo.

That's for sure but I think his camp is not that concerned because Haney is now the undisputed boxer, so money will eventually chase him as many fighters will try to dethrone him from being an undisputed boxer. But yea, PPV wise he ain't gonna make it and he gonna need his opponent to sell the fight to attract viewers.

Money wise he needs to work it out to bring more audiences but I guess his camp will not adjust as they are already succeeding from how they fought and as long as they holding the belt challengers will chase them and it will be defending from the handlers and promoters to bring fans to watch the fight, even if it's a known boring type of fight but if a type of challenger will be more aggressive, maybe or it will magnet fans to chase for Haney.

There are still fans and gamblers who wanted to see another fighter to bring something and possible to disappoint the champion

we never know, basing from experienced there are so many upset from this sport.

Haney's camp is just thankful that their cash cow is a champion in the boxing industry because if not, Haney won't get any attention at all because of his style in the ring as the people will really find it boring to watch. But now that Haney is undisputed, he will be chased by any boxer that wants his belts especially now that there's a hype gathering around that Haney will likely fight Loma next.

There is likely a chance that Haney will face Lomachenko next if things go well in this rematch in his favor as well as Lomachenko in his fight against Ortiz. Also, I can quite say that it's really too soon that Kambosos asked for a rematch because there is just a small chance of him winning and Haney will still be the one to be hailed victorious in this match.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 25, 2022, 01:54:42 PM
That fact alone will be one of the reasons why Ancajas should be more eager to get the belt that was once safe in his possession before he got lost by a first time title challenger, Martinez. Let's just give Ancajas the benefit of the doubt too because having a sudden exchange of opponent will of course make him struggle or any boxer in the industry as Ancajas himself didn't prepared for Martinez.

Definitely, it is an anti-tempo where an opponent has to be changed at the last minute.  Since the boxer needs to scout, prepare a strategy, and put it in the boxer thru training.  The last-minute change of opponent is disastrous to a boxer since he needs to throw away all the initial preparation and input another strategy at the last minute.  Somehow a boxer is accustomed to the initial training regime and has trouble adapting the new strategy for the new opponent.  That may serve as an excuse in the last fight, but it won't be this rematch.
So I think we will be seeing better Ancajas this time and I hope he can pass the weight limit requirement without any problem.

Certainly right! It's really hard to win for an opponent that you haven't prepared for while that same foe has been preparing for you for months and has been waiting if there's some back-up needed. As for Ancajas case, it's understandable why he got lost too but his other issue was different because he had a hard time meeting the required weight, his camp admitted that.

Anyway, there are too many reasons regarding their first encounter and why Ancajas lost. This time, he has a chance to prove that Martinez just got lucky that time and I hope that Ancajas will get that belt again so that he can fight Ioka next and settle the unfinished business.
2049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October on: August 24, 2022, 05:45:15 PM
Definitely a good tune up fight for  Loma just to clear things up on the issues about Loma ducking against Haney. Also, this would be a good preparation for Loma moving forward to the Haney fight to avoid any reasons if Haney wins because Loma has never stepped up in the boxing ring for quite some time.
Nevertheless, hope after their respective fight they'll finally face each other more prepared.
I don't think that Loma is ducking Haney, it was just that George Kambosos activated the rematch clause so there's nothing that Haney can do but to honor that. Besides, he has beaten Kambosos already so we might see him doing the same in the rematch.

And it's good for Loma to have a tune up fight first, maybe he is eager to comeback, but he should prepare for the bigger fight later. So Ortiz could be a test for him. This is also good for Ortiz as we might see how he fight and he will be exposed with his name.

Of course, after the rematch then maybe both can challenge each other for a big fight. Who knows, maybe it will happen this year and it will be one of the most anticipated fight. Loma vs Haney, it's hard to choose the winner but I have a feeling that Haney will be the favorite in the betting sites.

Not possible because both Haney-Kambosos and Lomachenko-Ortiz fight will happen in the same month of October and I think the resting time and preparation to make another fight this year is somehow impossible. Maybe Haney and Loma (if both will have a victory in their respective fight) can lock a fight this year then they can make the fight happen somewhere in the 1st quarter of 2023.

Media reporting now that Durant has reached an agreement with Nets management and will be playing for the Brooklyn Nets this year. I imagine that means Kyrie is staying also so no LeBron Kyrie reunion. I think this is probably the best outcome for everyone, but I did want to see them stir up the league. Should be fun to watch anyway. Two more months…

The Nets don't need to reach an agreement with Durant in the first place because Durant is currently under contract to play for the Nets, they should refrain from feeding Durant with what he wants because that will just make his big grow bigger. He should give the team a respect by staying and playing for the team for at least half of his contract before requesting a trade because the Nets was the one who granted him a contract worth of millions.

About Kyrie, he's been vocal that he will stay in the team even if Durant was traded and maybe that's his way to give respect and to cover his absence in the previous season. And the Nets is also not looking forward to trade Kyrie, that's just the Lakers trying to get him even though Kyrie doesn't want to.

Right! It's been already years since people around the globe called for a match for these two boxers and now it'll be much more exciting as it will be an undisputed fight in the welterweight division and if I recall it correctly, this fight is the next big fight in welterweight since Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.
I can see why this fight takes so long to establish because there's so many factors they have to consider to make sure that the fight will generate millions of dollars just like the May-Pac fight.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: August 24, 2022, 11:59:32 AM
There is still enough time before the date of the fight, so with good promotion and hype around the rematch, it will be possible to attract a significant number of fans from both Haney and Kambosos, who has a large audience in Australia.

Not sure enough if this rematch will collect more revenue compared to Haney and Kambosos's first encounter because Kambosos's fans saw how Haney dominated almost every round of the fight while almost all of us expected that Kambosos will try and give Haney a hard time and will be aggressive in the early rounds but that didn't happen either.

Sad to say but this fight doesn't have much hype at all because almost all the boxing fans around the world believes that Haney will still win this rematch and that's also why Haney is not concerned if the fight will again takes place somewhere in Australia as he himself knows that there won't be much difference this time.
2054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: August 24, 2022, 10:46:53 AM

Well, from the point of view of betting, it's something else, but I think that this time Martinez really wants to stand out and from what I've read the boxer has very good technique, at a professional level I'm sure he won't do badly, so I have seen, some give Ancajas the winner, but in my personal opinion Martinez is a clear winner for me, obviously without going through Ancajas's abilities, Martinez is a boxer who for now will be measured with a higher degree of demand, here he can discovering that there is a business model that is impressive, and the statistics are supporting it, I wonder if it goes 3:1 how it will be in less time, will the ratio increase?

On the first fight it was obvious that Martinez was the clear winner, it was not a controversial fight as even the fans of Ancajas believe that Martinez won. Well, we are now in the rematch, I'm just hoping that Ancajas will make the right adjustment so it will not again result in a one sided fight.

No debate on that, Ancajas looks exhausted in that fight, so it's time for him to bounce back by winning the fight. I know it's easier said than done but I still believe that Ancajas is capable of doing that, he work his way to become a champion, he would not give up that easily, and winning here means him becoming a champion once again.

He cannot make another excuse if he will lose in the rematch (this fight), he has to give everything he has in order to get back the belt and be declared as a champion again. He is the hope of the Philippines because we only have few champions, and if there's a Filipino champions, people are more eager to watch the fight which could create unity to the people.

2055  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking the awareness of crypto and Btt forum to the youths on: August 22, 2022, 09:14:51 PM
I want my friends and well-wishers to know about crypto.
It is a good thing you have in mind, but I must also remind and advice you to be careful and cautious as you introduce cryptocurrency to your friends. Cautious in the sense that as you talk about crypto and have highlighted its potential to affect ones financial situation positively, many of them may be eager to want to skip to the part where you tell them how exactly to gain and may urge you to give them some financial advice, however tempting, you must avoid that urge to give financial advice to them as you talk about crypto, so tomorrow if it doesn't go their way, they wouldn't have you to blame and your relationship will be save.
Your intention is really good and impressive. However, let them be aware too that crypto is definitely not a get-rich-quick scheme as most of them would only want to enter crypto because there are huge profits waiting ahead. Of course its possible, but they should first give their wild efforts and persistency so they will succeed in the end. But above all, let them understand that crypto is not here to compete with fiat, as bitcoin will always be less effective unless the government starts supporting and adopting it.
2056  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Either Bitcoin will end or we will be at the peak of inflation on: August 22, 2022, 08:50:16 PM
It's not impossible for us to see bitcoin crashing down in price due to economic factors, but "end" as in dying or some sort? Nah mate.

It is possible that we can see Shiba Inu coin to be traded against USD at 1:1 ratio.
Not sure if trolling or stupid.
Bitcoin is always affected whatever negative worldly events that arise, so its always subject to price drops but never will i imagine that bitcoin will face death in the end. In fact, i even see it to grow more inevitably. Unlike with shitcoins, we can always foresee them as coins with no utility case so they are bound not to last long. Shiba Inu or Dogecoin, they are both expected to become undervalued in the end.
2057  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: August 22, 2022, 08:27:56 PM
Anything can happen, sometimes the movement of Bitcoin is wild and uncontrollably, at this time the price is around $ 23k but it does not rule out the end of the year to reach $ 100k, I am always optimistic to continue to buy and make for long -term investment, the fact that prices can skyrocket in a short time Makes me never bodily and panic when the price is dropping.
It's good that you never panic when the price drops and keep making purchases because now the Bitcoin price is under $23K again and I think it will be much better if you want to buy it in very large quantities if you have high confidence in Bitcoin right now . Because Bitcoin still has the potential to increase more even though it is currently still experiencing frequent declines after increasing by a few percent.
I'm also optimistic about bitcoin and its possible new all time high but to be honest, i'm not expecting for bitcoin price to reach $100k this year as we are already close to the last quarter but still bitcoin is not showing high surges. However, its also an opportunity for us to see bitcoin still in a low price since it will give us chances to increase the quantity of our owned bitcoin through buying at its low and affordable price, and hold them for long term.
2058  Economy / Economics / Re: Tips to save my finances, to grow personal economy on: August 22, 2022, 08:07:00 PM
This point is often encountered among socialites who only have limited finances, often forcing themselves to appear as luxurious as possible so that they are said to be the richest people when in fact the opposite.
In the principle of life, one does not need to take care of others with the finances they can afford. But what we often find is jealousy when other people can achieve what they want while we often pay attention to other people and comment on their every action. Living well is frugal, without showing off clearly is not easy, seeing the surrounding environment sometimes encourages us to be more in line with forcing the inability to have.

What we need to do is not comment on other people's economic life. But it's more about improving ourselves and adapting to what we have.
What we need the most is contentment and satisfaction. Although its hard to see satisfaction in all things, but the fact that we get to be contented on what we can afford to have, then it will greatly help us save our finances and grow our personal economy. As much as possible, we should not focus on other people's lives as for sure they can be tempting. We should focus more on our own selves to improve and to gain personal growth which will be very essential for the growth of our own economy.
2059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins are Not Real — Or how People Blindly Accepted Nakamoto's Nonsense on: August 22, 2022, 07:45:06 PM
Your confusion is very understandable, different people have different brain capacity and sometimes they can't fathom new technologies that revolutionize the world unless they are dictated about their usage by some centralized authority. Since bitcoin doesn't have that, nobody told you anything and you are not equipped to understand it on your own either.

What's interesting is your persistence in convincing others with your 368 witless remarks for the past 5 months.
Bitcoin has its own real value, but not all people believe on that because some prefer to stay in opposition and would not want to gain knowledge about the facts and legitimacy of bitcoin. While others keep on taking the advantages and opportunities because they know the fact that bitcoin is capable to create higher value in the long run. However, everyone is free to have their own understanding about bitcoin, but i prefer to stay positive and keep believing that bitcoin is real and that investing in bitcoin for long term will always worth the money and risk.
2060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: August 21, 2022, 09:35:34 PM
Traders by definition have to be an active bunch, after all you need to read several charts and you need to do it more frequently the faster the chart moves, after all you need to interpret a chart of 15 minutes 4 times in the same period of time that you will interpret a chart of 1 hour only once, so I do not really agree with you unless you are actually talking about investors instead, investors can afford to be more passive in their approach to the markets as they are more interested in the long term than in the short term.
That "activity" should be something that could be risky for the trader at the same time. There isn't really a big deal at all if you just end up doing a long term investment where you hold it for a decade or more. Whereas a trader would have to be active and constantly do something and that ends up being a terrible situation.

So, just focus on what you are doing at that moment if you are a trader and be always ready for the current situation and always be ready for a drop, so have your stop loss and so forth ready. This way you could limit the loss as well. There isn't really a good deal to be trader to be fair, just be a long term investor and you would be fine.
