2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much was your last big win? on: November 07, 2022, 04:29:54 PM
Rather nice win for me today at Sportsbet.io. I made 346€25 from a 5€ roll on Sword of Ares from Pragmatic Play. It's "only" a 69x win, but I very rarely bet more than 1 or 2€ on a slot spin. 5€ was a big bet for me then, especially on a slot with such characteristics (18.18% Hit ratio, High volatility, 96.4% RTP)

FTX insolvable ?

2045  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to secure your Recovery seed or Mnemonic phrase? on: November 06, 2022, 10:54:24 PM
Quote
Which is why some schemes allow you to add password to your seed, so the seed alone is not enough to access the wallet, because private keys are derived from both the seed and the password. I personally don't use this method, because I use Electrum and it doesn't have this option, but even if I could, I still wouldn't because it just adds just the complexity of storing password somewhere. I'd rather not risk locking myself out of my coins because of a misplaced password.

I think Electrum wallet also has the feature of Passphrase. Instead of storing your password anywhere, you can choose a strong password which you can remember. Even if the seed is stolen, without the passphrase they cannot access the wallet.

You can choose to keep part of your funds under passphrase(large amount) and fewer amount without a passphrase(small amount). If the wallet is stolen, then only the small amount without a passphrase will be lost. You can still save the large amount of funds.
Usually people don't own one single wallet only, they possess several wallets with several seeds and even several lonely private keys belonging to one particular address they've used to receive a payment or signing a message for example. So what is your advice when you have several seeds precisely? Do we need to use one single passphrase for all of our wallets or do we need to change it and to use a different one for each of our seed/wallet? Using a passphrase could also be dangerous because if you forget it you will lose your funds even if you have the seed, which can be heavily frustrating.

I was born in Costa Rica and still live in Costa Rica so i will follow my country regulation so with current regulation i can operate legally an anonymous crypto casino
I looked it up and your government will tolerate this kind of operation as long as you don't offer your services to Costa Rican residents nor you can use their banking system for it. So hopefully you are getting your expemses paid with crypto only. Because there's no bank in the world that will deal with your money as long as you are not following any aml laws. Even crypto cex:es get their orders from regulators and get to froze your accounts if asked.

And obviously when you make money from this you need to pay income tax as costa rica isn't pure tax heaven, so i am wondering how will you do that without possibility to convert anything to fiat? Perhaps your lawyer has figured it out as i sure haven't.

Also i wouldn't really see that my money would be safe when there are no regulations preveting you rugging everyone.
Nitrobetting is also operating from Costa Rica, and exclude requiring any KYC of any form at anytime in its ToS and nobody tell them such things. They even benefit of a rather good reputation here AFAIK. So I think OP could really be able to provide that, moreover if he is fair and honest he can warn users and let them withdrawing their funds before applying a new KYC policy if one day Costa Rica authorities require it.

Thanks we are just going to work with 1 Visionary iGaming also known as VIG they are also from costa rica all the dealers are also from here
I didn't have the opportunity to play at this provider until now but what you are saying entice me to try it.

No KYC "BS" for any amount as you say, is a must for a new casino as for now, since most of players have become very reluctant to gamble on casinos aiming to ask KYC and to lock their funds to avoid paying their winnings or to just scam them. So it's a very good point for your casino. A good feature to add could be lay betting on your sportsbook and a multiplayer table game like poker. Live RTP for slots and casino games could also be an interesting feature.

Thanks for the feedback yeah we are never going to ask for KYC.
Sure i think we could enable that and Poker is also in our road map we have live game you can even talk with the dealer, take a look

Thank you for sharing this picture, your user interface looks rather nice. But I don't recognize the live casino provider shown in your screenshot. Which one is it precisely? It's a new one? I see it is allowing tips and your casino too then, that's another good point for your casino because players usually like to be able to send tips to dealers when they play live table games. How many different live casino providers are your offering for now? Which ones it is?
2048  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 06, 2022, 08:06:19 PM

I just had very nice win playing Mental slot game again today in Livecasino website Smiley
Do you guys know any other similar horror slot game, it can be from any other available provider and not just from NoLimit City?
Usually the most horrific slot games are from NoLimit City, Tombstone RIP (with the famous hanged girl) from them, is also a famous one I like to play but I like Rich Wilde and the Tome of Madness from Play'n Go too, it's inspired by HP Lovecraft universe, and it's a very popular slot too.

actually you don't need a coinmarketcap or coingecko if you collect btc. every time you log in to freebitco you see what you get in satohis.
i would be happy if there are only 3 or 4 satoshis again. then we have a price of 50 or 60k for btc .
that's how it was in november 2021 . there were the fewest satohis on freebtc . but the portfolio was gigantic  Grin
Yes it's true, I don't look at BTC price every day because I don't like to be focused on that when I'm not trading but I always use Freebitcoin at least one time every day, and I would miss it if I wouldnt be able to do it. So most of times, I get aware of btc price through the winnings offered by Freebitcoin for the free rolls.

Ah yeah. That's the get cozy with bacarrat promotion. The minimum bet is what I don’t like about because the game is bacarrat and the game is pure luck because you are just choosing which side to bet.
[...]
Baccarat is not a totally pure luck game since the RTP/House Edge is not the same for each side of the game. As you can see in the table below, at the Baccarat with commission the Banker side has a smaller HE than the Player's one. While at the Baccarat without commission, it's the opposite, the Banker side get a bigger HE than the player one. In addition, the shoe is usually fully dealt at Baccarat unlike Blackjack games and it seems you can lower the HE if you are able to count the cards.

Since you already made a post on stakes announcement thread, I se no need making another one here, you should have waited for them to respond to your query there, but anyways, I will advice you share some proof of the this allegation, maybe you can share the screenshot of the chat you had with Steve or something, with proof, I don't think anybody will take you seriously.

One thing I can assure you of is that Stake is a very reputable casino, they treat their customers fairly, and as long as you did not break or go against any of their terms and conditions/service, your issue will be looked into and resolved in a way that is fair for both you and stake.
I don't understand why you are asking him "proofs" instead of just asking more detailed explanations if you are interested in this case. This is not a scam accusation thread and he doesn't owe you anything as far as I know.
Regarding your last sentence reputation is not about repeating this casino is fair and reliable from people paid by them to wear their signature and avatar, it's all about showing how this kind of cases are handle and resolved actually.

~snip~
Livecasino.io and Bitcasino.io are owned by Moon Technologies B.V. Where Sportsbet.io is owned by mBet Solutions N.V. But, these three betting sites are operated by the same group (company). All these betting sites are founded by "Coingaming Group" which is known as "Yolo Group" now. There is another casino which belongs to Yolo Group, and the design of the casino is same like the other three sites.
You're right I have visited their website https://yolo.com and they talk about another casino : https://slots.io. I wasn't aware of it, and I don't remember having read a comment here or on a blog about it. It has exactly the same design as Bitcasino and I didn't find what it is offering in addition to it. I think it would be more cost-effective for them to just redirect this url to Bitcasino actually.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you watching Online Gambling Streams? Short survey and discussion on: November 04, 2022, 01:39:08 PM
Hello everyone!

In the last years gambling livestreams (mainly on Twitch) as well as gambling videos on YouTube gained more and more popularity. For my thesis I am looking for exactly such people who like to watch gambling livestreams.
If you watch livestreams where slots or other casino games are played, you are a very big help to me!

Would also love to hear your opinion on gambling livestreams below this post!

The survey takes about 10-12 min and can be answered in English or German.
https://limesurvey.allgpsy.uni-due.de/index.php?r=survey/index&sid=195442&lang=en

I am very grateful to share my study here! For the people who are interested there is definitely a summary of the results.

Thanks a lot and all the best!

Paul
Yes I watch them from time to time but usually it's only for getting some bonus drops or because the streamer is funny or because the streamer is a sexy girl to be honest. I also watch them when there are giving the results of a tournament, a lottery or a game I've participated in. But watching a man or a woman spinning slots for hours is boring as hell and I don't really understand how people are able to watch that so long.

The fact that i could roll it 24 times per day doesn't really help when you look at the big picture.

Is there a way to change client's (browser?) seed? Is server seed static (for client, for a day) or is it randomized every roll?
In other words - as we work with server seed, client seed and nonce, what is the lifetime of client & server seeds?
You are talking about the Wheel of Fortune, right? The server seed changes at each roll and is randomized afaik, moreover a nonce is incremented each time. For the client seed, you cant change it or I dont know how to do it at least, but a text under the client seed says that it is automatically generated in the browser through javascript. So the sever seed and the client seed lifetime are one roll.
2057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Japanese gambling - tabsai game on: November 04, 2022, 11:47:59 AM
In a few days, we will release  Japanese gabling game call tabsai based on the TYEN token on MATIC network.

The game rule is quite simple:
- The game start with host game and players
- The host will throw 3 dices
- Base on the result of 3 dices, the host or players can be recorded as winner
- The rule mostly based on the wiki site: https://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%BF%E3%83%96_(%E8%B3%AD%E5%8D%9A)

We are working with cryptogambling to get the certificate for a fair system.
Before getting the certificate, we post here the algorithm to get the dice result

Code:
function randomDice(seed, failPercent = 5) { // fail percent -> dice out of table
  percentSeed = seed.slice(0, 4);
  percentInt = parseInt(percentSeed, 16);
  percent = percentInt % 100;
  if (percent <= failPercent) {
    return 0;
  }

  diceInt = parseInt(seed, 16);
  return 1 + (diceInt % 6);
}

function throwDice(salt, msg) {
  const hmac = crypto.createHmac("sha256", salt);
  hmac.update(msg);
  seed = hmac.digest("hex");
  console.log(seed);

  seed1 = seed.slice(0, 10);
  seed2 = seed.slice(10, 20);
  seed3 = seed.slice(20, 30);

  dice1 = randomDice(seed1);
  dice2 = randomDice(seed2);
  dice3 = randomDice(seed3);

  return [dice1, dice2, dice3];
}

Hope you enjoy the game.
It's interesting but you didn't say if the game will be provably fair or not. That is to say, will the user be able to change the seed or a part of the seed himself? Will he be able to fully write the seed he wants to use for playing? Will a hash of the server seed be displayed before the beginning of the game, and will the users be able to change their seed after that? Will the real server seed be displayed after the end of the game to let the users check if it is the same as the hashed seed displayed and to verify if the final result is ok? Because your code doesn't deal with the creation of the seed.

Are you still able to see your Loyalty progress and to claim your loyalty cashback? Because since the update of the deposit feature and the  suppression of the funds tab my loyalty tab is blank. Even when I use the url https://livecasino.io/profile/loyalty I got a blank screen. I was thinking it was just because of an overload bug, but it lasts for several days now.
