don't forget to contact BBC, the Economist and GQ, with your outstanding news. they are waiting to publish anything apparently! just send them an email and say i am satoshi and they will publish it for you Cheesy
20402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: May 11, 2016, 05:00:41 AM
In 2020, bitcoin transaction will be slower than what it is today and mining bitcoin will require higher difficulty. Halving every few years due to high inflation to start with will take its toll.

These issues are now being solved by the altcoins out there awaiting for mass adoption. People are not realizing it yet but one or few of the altcoins will be adopted by businesses due to their fast transaction, cheap mining (staking) and low inflation to stabilize the price.

What nonsense!
Why should transactions be slower?
Have you read the roadmap regarding blocksize increase and capacity?!
SegWit +Schnoor Sigs will give us capacities similar to 3-3,4MB Blocks! One version of Lightning Network is in the pipelines for this years as well which will finally bring us instant transactions. The merchants will appreciate this! And this will probably continue the next years if necessary.
Altcoins are good for increasing your stash in Bitcoin! But that's it!There is no altcoin out there who could compete with Bitcoin.

don't think too much about these types of comments. they are just some random false information about bitcoin while promoting an altcoin. although this one is new and i have been mostly seeing ethereum saying these about bitcoin to promote themselves.
20403  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold my alts, all in BTC on: May 11, 2016, 04:55:49 AM
I agree with you. I also prefer to focus my attention in few assets (in this case in few altcoins) because it can be exhausting to watch and exchange multiple coins, especially when we all know that bitcoin still rules and will remain dominating this emerging economy for long.
That's what makes me crazy sometimes because of many altcoins now in the market, I use to buy different altcoins but I was not able to really monitor them all and ended us losing my investment. Now, I have learned already that I only have to focus on coins that I can manage.
There are many people that is not going to use Bitcoin and that is perfect for the currency because how more used how better it is for the currency so that is perfect.
But you also see that the value is going to be more worth and that is nice for the most people with Bitcoin.

That is right. Many people are using the altcoin at the moment. With Ethereum, you can invest in Slock DAo.
It is good to have a back up coins in case bitcoins will not do good in the future. The most coins in the circulation the better so people will have a choice what to use. Right now, I am even buying for altcoins and invested a lot on waves.

lol, what the hell is back up coins. altcoins are mostly useless and none of them could ever come close to bitcoin. besides holding altcoins for long term has never been a good idea because they get pump and dumped then their prices continue going down after this period.
20404  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: May 11, 2016, 04:46:47 AM
It will be now the best thing that you can do and that is because the value is not even that high now so that will be nice for the people who also already have Bitcoin.
The most important thing in Bitcoin is that you have to wait a really long time until the value will be more.
key gains on investments is a patience dude because if you're impatient in investment in bitcoin?
then will you get an advantage but not a loss. because if the price drops is very long time and you can not be patient then you will be losers

You need to have patience if you want to earn some good money from bitcoin, and if you don't have patience then you are wasting your time and money here.

patience is very important in bitcoin. especially if you are someone who likes to investment, because investment is always in need of a lot of time.
like buy and hold, you have patience to wait for higher prices.

Yes,patience is the key to earn good profits in future, as if you see price drop and get panic and sell your coins then your investment would be in vain.

you have to stay aware of the market and the price movements if you want to be a "trader" other than that people are mostly hodler who are just keeping bitcoin in their wallets for the future, these people should not sell with the drops because it is all temporary and will soon change back.
20405  Economy / Economics / Re: If you hold 1 BTC you are a pioneer on: May 11, 2016, 04:43:12 AM
how much bitcoin you are holding is just dependent on you and how much money you want to invest in bitcoin. if you have at least 1 bitcoin you can be considered a pioneer, or an early adopter who looks back to these days of cheap bitcoin and says i had bought bitcoin when it was cheap.
20406  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY and SELL IT! on: May 11, 2016, 04:37:00 AM
you should buy before the jump happens if you don't want to lose the chance to make a profit. so anytime these days is good chance to but bitcoin. but as for the sell part nobody can tell you when to sell because nobody knows where the rise is going to stop.
20407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make money on bitcointalk? on: May 11, 2016, 04:32:09 AM
By looking at the Service board you can see that many people require website developer, software developer, programming, design etc.

Yes you can find all details on service section and there  are many ways to earn here, best way I like to earn money is from signature campaign.

Of course this is additional help to earn more bitcoin, but if you have good skills on the fields that i mentioned above you can make good money as a freelancer.

I want to add also you can sell your account there and in digital goods and auction. Or if you have something that you are not using it anymore,
You can sell it there and you can find there some potential buyers.

Buying lower rank account at lower price and taking it to higher level by working on it can also earn you good amount of bitcoin, the only thing is it is lengthy process.

You mean potential accounts? There are lots of accounts who are newbies and created a long time ago and no posts I think. If that is what called potential accounts, but yes it is more cheaper than the usual rank that you are going to buy but you need to effort to rank its activity.

potential accounts are accounts that have been posting consistently every week but not as much, meaning posting at least 1 per two weeks so they have the activity but not the post count.

but i think this is not a productive way of earning money you should read the topic and find the productive ways.
20408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could everybody please claim to be Satoshi Nakamoto and get it over with? on: May 11, 2016, 04:27:33 AM
this is our own fault as a community! we shouldn't even talk about it when someone claims to be satoshi without proper proof. and proper proof is should be the normal signing message from a bitcoin address not inventing your own way and doing it privately!
this is so simple that it makes me mad to think about how CW filled the social media with lots of people talking about some BS
20409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do to get bitcoins? on: May 11, 2016, 04:24:14 AM
"i have no skills" is not a good excuse. especially for a young person as a student you can learn lots of different skills based on what you like to do and your favorite things. and there are lots of small part time jobs you can do as a student. posting your bitcoin address from a brand new account is not going to make you any bitcoin.
20410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to store your bitcoins on a mobile phone? on: May 11, 2016, 04:01:22 AM
if you have large amounts you should always use a safe and known way of storing your bitcoin in a cold storage, try not to innovate new ways that you are not completely familiar with. that is how you lose coins.
20411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: May 10, 2016, 04:25:12 AM
we know that most of the times we lost on gambling, but instead of stopping we keep on playing for the next day

after we lost, we got frustrated but we still back to play, is this called "gamble addiction"?

gambling needs skills and quick analysis on the game set. addictive gambling is like a lifestyle it is the love of the game the excitement, the thrill, it is not about winning and loosing.  it's just you cant stop betting on anything that has a possibility of winning and loosing.  it is when you loose you always have a next time for winning still you always think of winning even though your loosing. Roll Eyes Cheesy

no amount of skill or analysis will help you in gambling, it is all come down to how lucky you are and nothing else. you cannot skillfully change your luck or outcome of a dice roll, or a football game result. all these results happen by chance.
20412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can u lose with gambling? on: May 10, 2016, 04:22:27 AM
this is kind of an obvious question, isn't it? when you gamble at any moment you can hit an unlucky bet and lose that bet, so whatever amount you place on your bets that is how much you can lose each time in gambling and if you are a gambling addict and keep betting even after losing, you will lose everything.
20413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not use USB sticks for long term storage! Its not safe! on: May 10, 2016, 04:17:50 AM
Engrave your private keys in a block of tungsten, basically indestructible.

why tungsten? there are better metals/alloys to use which are way cheaper than tungsten and also easier to acquire. you can buy stainless steel or aluminum anywhere and also cheaper. and also don't forget that engraving on steel is easier than tungsten.

worth mentioning this project here: Cryptosteel
20414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Placing Buy and Sell orders at same time on: May 10, 2016, 04:07:41 AM
what you are explaining is the classic way of buying low and selling high. everybody is doing this but your exact method has some flaws in its logic:
1) shitcoins + big spread = nobody is trading that which means your orders will never get filled (it may even take a month to get filled)
2) when you place and order it will go in some kind of Queue, meaning those who have placed orders before you will get their orders filled and you will wait until it is your turn
20415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: May 10, 2016, 04:02:40 AM
You can earn more than 1 btc if do you have a skill on trading or offer your a skill that pays in BTC you can make a lot more in a year

Trading we can make more than that, Faucets are enough to earn 1 BTC a year if you're going to invest time and effort but I don't think its worth it with signature campaigns and you can earn 1 BTC in less than a year depending on your rank, which is kind of worth your time.

1 btc a year its too low and need a long time.it possible earn 1 btc a year from faucets but you can make more that if join in the signature campaign plus avatar campaign.

i don't think it is possible or even wise thing to do.

using faucets is such a big waste of time, and doing it for a year will drive you mad.

it's very posible if you have more "free time" to waste it, better to waste your time to collecting bitcoin than you waste your time to playing game.

playing a game is not wasting time, it is some kind of entertainment as long as you enjoy playing them. but using faucets IS waste of time because it is a meaningless job with extremely low payment while you are putting pressure on your eyes and wasting time and electricity.
20416  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: May 10, 2016, 03:57:18 AM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.

i think it depends mostly on the amount of money you are needing. for me, if i need small amount i would just do some small extra jobs to earn it. but if i need the money fast or if i need big amounts of money i would borrow it from someone i know or in some cases i can also borrow from a bank (loan).
20417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is it possible to make a paper wallet without the password? on: May 10, 2016, 03:52:55 AM
~~
was reading on blockchain
https://blockchain.info/wallet/paper-tutorial
It says that the paper wallet has my (private key)password. So if someone broke into my home and stole my paper wallet, they could easily steal my bitcoin
~~
so my question is,   is it possible to make a paper wallet without the password?
~~

what is this password you are talking about? is it the blockchain.info wallet password, in that case you need it to access the private keys so you can get the paper wallet from bc.i and print it.

but if you want extra security on your paper wallet, you can still use some kind of encryption on those keys so someone without the encryption key can not use those.
20418  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: May 10, 2016, 03:48:41 AM
it is always better to have some kind of a backup strategy so you have something to fall back on. so if you have a regular day-job as long as that can give you some kind of financial security i would never recommend anybody to leave if for anything else.
20419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is now a good time to buy and store Bitcoin? on: May 10, 2016, 03:45:16 AM
you gotta look at the bigger picture here in bitcoin. although the bitcoin price has its rise and falls but the future price will be higher than the current price no matter what some shill FUD spreaders want to claim.

so this means buying now will lead to a nice profit in the future.
20420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Clear moon pattern forming on: May 10, 2016, 03:41:30 AM
the rise is so slow and steady i don't think we are going to see any kinds of moontime anytime soon. there is just going to be the same slow and steady rise for the time being and unless i see a spike not a small rise i wouldn't call it moon.
